[I]Tales were always told by drunkards of human like creatures that drank blood and only lived at night, but they were always laughed at in disbelief. Until people started disappearing, late family members were seen walking around graveyards, and more respectable men began to say that they had seen the creatures as well. No one knows exactly what kind of terrors are going on, but they do know that whatever it is, it's been occuring more and more frequently. People all over England have started whispering a single word.

([B]This is a joint RPG between Arika and myself. It takes place in England during the 19th century.[/B] For now, it will be a fictional England until I learn more about the [URL=http://cityofshadows.stegenga.net/main.html]time period.[/URL] No one knows why people are dying and vampyres are suddenly appearing, but some say that it is the work of Edward J. Pearson, a wealthy middle-aged man. But he is very friendly, and loved by all of the people so these accusations have not stood for very long. You can either be a human, or a vampyre. Humans will soon be caught and changed into vampyres, but you can try to run for as long as possible or kill those who are after you. If you are a vampyre from England, then you have been recently killed. If you want your character to have been a vampyre for quite sometime, then you must be from another country. [B]Description:[/B] Besides his sister and mother, Vale is the only one in his family with green eyes and dark red hair. Because of the many funerals he has to attend, he is usually seen wearing a black suit, vest, tie, pants and shoes.

[B]Bio:[/B] Because of their father's funeral parlor, the Allard children grew up around death and their outlook on life became as dark as the clothes they always wear. The townspeople said that those children would end up committing suicide or meeting some other horrible end. Then, one day, some strange boys appeared in town. There were four of them, but only one came out during the day. Every one avoided them but Valerie. Her father disapproved of this but she wouldn't listen to him, so he locked her in her room until she would come to her senses. The next morning, he unlocked the door but she was gone and the window was open. The whole family searched everywhere and finally found her body; she had been run over by a carriage. During the funeral, Vale noticed that his older brother, Samuel, was missing. His father told him not to worry, and that it wasn't anything to interrupt the funeral over. When they returned home, they found Samuel at home with his wrists slit, sitting in a chair by a note on the table. The note explained that he had failed to protect his sister and that he didn't deserve to live. After this incident, Vale's father tried to hide his razors, but it was no use. Not wanting to live without his brother and sister, Vale found a broken piece of glass and was going to cut his wrists just like Samuel had done. His younger brother begged him not to, but Vale was adamant. Failing to talk his older brother out of it, Nicholas called for his mother and she stopped Vale just in time. After a long talk with his mother and father, Vale told Nicholas that he wasn't upset at him and promised that he would never take his own life. When their mother had another baby boy, which Nicholas talked his parents into naming Gawain, it seemed that their family would be restored. But a month later, the baby died in its crib leaving Vale and Nicholas the only children in the family.

Description: 5'8", 143ibs, has emerald eyes, and messy black hair, weres a chinese red silk shirt with red "ties" and a pair of black, baggy pants. Carried around a pair of rice flaies, Nunchakus.

Background: once a happy young man inlisted in the Emperor's army. While on patrol, Kuang was attacked by a team of vampires. Sadned because he knew he could never go back, Kuang contemplated his choices for many years. Kuang then decided to learn english and make a too Europe, were he heard that vampyres were in abbundance. Kuang is a martial artist mastering Wing Chun Gung Fu. Kuang is not an evil vampyre, only traggic.

Race: Vampyre (even though I've usually seen it spelt Vampire)

Location: London

Description: Appears to be an eighteen year old young lady, she had long dark brown hair which is often tied up into various elaborated styles and will often be depicted in long flowing dresses of deep purples, flowing black gowns and on rare occassions white silk. Will often attend parties for those of rich incalnation.

Background: Claudia was once a daughter to a rich middle-class family, and was due to marry but three nights before a vampire came and took her for his long lost daughter. When she was first a vampire she lost a lot of her emoutional state and had to be controlled ruthlessly as blood-lust caused her more than a few problems. Now though she is calm and self centred and has started to look for a mate or at least a follower who she can indudel with.

If you need any help on time-line feel free to ask. I'm not and expert by any means but I live in England so I've got a fair idea...and I should probably start reading Dracluar to get more of a character build up ^_^

Bio: Richard, or Dr. Piers, is a famous surgeon who is known to save lives. One of the best in England, until people started coming in with cases of anemia (severe blood loss) and then turned into monsters days later! Scientists across the country were baffled, and now Dr. Piers is working on a way to reverse people turning into these monsters. Now, they have begun to target him, and he has a secret lab which has not been discovered...yet.

Then, one fateful night, when James qas 19, and away from home, his mother was taken by a Vampyre. His father gathered a group of men and went after her. They never returned. Since then James has hunted vampires, ruthlessly. He shows no mercy to them, remembering what happened to his family. Some call him crazy for suggesting they exist. But he knows differently...

[b]Background:[/b] His father is the minor lord of a manor in the countryside. Edward was the youngest of all his sons, and was so sent off with a commision in the army. Unlike other officers of his time, he is well trained and well versed in army tactics. He rose wuickly in the ranks, until he became a major, his current rank. He really doesn't want to believe that the vampyres exist, and is still skeptical.

Background: a man who lost everything and long ago atempted suicide but was stopped by a vampyre, and was convinced that he could start a new life with no cares or worries, simply to hunt. He agreed, and was turned into a vampyre. He shows a lot of respect to his vampyre breathen, calling vampyres older then him "mistress" or "master" and helps new vampyres until they are ready to hunt on their own.

Background: Adrienne was born a vampire and from birth was a wonderful actress. She could lie her way through anything. She taught herself at a young age how to lure humans into her trap by using those skills and a few costumes. This is why she is now known in the world of vampyre's as "Le Masque". Nowadays, she drinks her fill by using those actress skills from her long ago childhood. One day she may be a helpless peasent. The next, a royal princess. [/COLOR][/B]

Background: Rinaldo is one of the eldest Vampires around today, apart from 'Le Masque'. He was once the son of a rich landlord and was headed on his way to a life of luxary. He was turned into a Vampire during the 17th century and has spent his Immortal life thus far destroying, or corrupting, the noble familys of Italy before turning his gaze upon the rest of Europe. He has heard of the going's on in England and has decided to take it upon him self to go there and teach these new Vampires what means to be one of the Un-dead.

Vale and Nicholas were just there to chat. Cassandra is a well-mannered, polite girl who stands up for her beliefs. The night her mother and father died, Cassandra was taken from her room and was dragged through the night. No one knew what happened...only Cassandra and a dead vampyre knew. She is a vampyre that is already a master vampyre. She can move faster than the speed of light, hear far better than the best hearing animal on the earth, have extreme strength, communicate with the creatures of darkness, fly great distances, have invisibility, and she cannot die from any attack, whether it may be a wooden stake to the heart or a cross.[/size][/color]

Background: Born and raised in an incredibly high society, Iolanthe fell in with the darker crowd where she learnt that she had been initiated as Vampyric at the age of three. Killing her adopted family for lying to her and making s***loads of money in the process, she moved to England as the underground clan was found by authorities in their investigation into Iolanthe's family's murder.

So he was human but I became vampyre when a hord of vampyres attacked me in Carpati, Romania back in the days when I was still young and was in a trip there. Since then I live in Transylvania, in peace with out being seen the night when I go hunt...waiting for more action.
