Anime Tapion

I watched that Trunks movie and I thought this was going to be in there, but it wasn't so what is the whole deal with Tapion? All I know is that he gave trunks his sword and I just found out that he had a brother or something. Anyway, I also want to know if there is a Tapion movie.

Actually he just gave chibi Trunks his sword, you don't really know how future Trunks got his. DBZ Movie 13 is one of my favorites, Goku uses the [spoiler]Dragon Punch[/spoiler] in it. I'm pretty sure Tapion's borther [spoiler]is dead[/spoiler]. I might be interperereererererereting [<---That is bad] it wrong but I think that big monster Hildegarn [spoiler]take him out.[/spoiler]

Yes, but it's never shown. You assume it didn't cause everyone died when the androids came along. Which was far before Hildegarn. The only person to survive was Trunks, and he then comes to this timeline.

Technically it's not known where Mirai no Trunks got his sword.

All we know is Tapion gave chibi Trunks, or the Trunks you see in DBGT, his sword. Nothing else is for sure.

Tapion's brother's name is Minoshia. They both [spoiler]carried an ocarina to subdue each half of the monster Hildegarn. Tapion and his brother had the two pieces sealed inside of themselves and then they were each put in un-openable boxes so the two pieces could never be united. Before the movie starts, Minoshia is somehow brought out of his box and killed by Hildegarn who is now roaming the streets. When Tapion is let out of the box by a wish from the Eternal Dragon, things gets crazy when both of Hildegarn's pieces are set free.[/spoiler] I hope that wasn't confusing.

[color=red][size=1][font=arial]You have to remember the Movies Rule : all movies take place outside of series continuity. Just because it happened in one of the movies doesn't make it actual history, and doesn't mean it happened (though Dead Zone is, for some reason, the exception).

JC makes a good point.Remember when gohan trained with the z sword? maybe trunks got/found/whoknows this sword in order to train to get stronger to fight the andriods.And maybe he thought tha a weapon would help since he was just a little kid(gohan also trained with another sword when he was small)
