I liked the episode a lot (even if BT was in it and I missed the first few minutes because I was watching the bloopers from Shanghai Knights.) Crim is really cool, and I was scared for a minute when my two favorite characters (Sora and Mimiru) started fighting. I wonder if Aura really is the Key of the Twilight...Hey, maybe only dark Aura is. Or maybe I am just thinking too hard. I didnt like how BT came back. She is being really stupid. I wish she would just jump off a cliff or something.

Anyways, I liked how the characters really formed today. Crim, Subaru and Tsukasa especially. I am also glad that Tsukasa came out of his stupified state and decided to be semi-social again. I was sooooo happy to see Sora today. I thought for sure that when he went to the creepy weird place where Aura is he would be dead meat.

All the events in this episode take place BEFORE he found Aura... Did you notice the resemblence in the place Mimiru and Sora fought and the place Sora met Maha?

Wow! I loved that episode! I think its my new favorite! I think we are all very happy that Tsukasa is out of his er..... spaced out thing, but it seems like hes sorta going Psyco now from what we saw when he met Crim. "Dont Hit Me! Please Dont hit me!!" That made me laugh.... "Im not going to hit you!" *cough* anyways...

So it is true! Subaru is Handicapped! Thank you Crim for answering questions! *sacrafices BT* Hm... I loved how he explained her situation on why she wanted to play the world. And how she faces her challenges... More Wise words from Crim...

Well, Sora.... ah.... uh..... >_< Different.... I never expected him to do that to Mimiru. He seemed... ya know... to really like her. I didnt completly understand the whole thing with BT and Bear either... I think it had to do with Sora.. maybe...

And the part when they all met at Helba's gate place. And then talked about the book thing... I bet Bear wrote it! *twitches* I also thought it was cool how they all did some kind of Neat-O pose before warping to that place that Helba was sending them. Crim's, was of course the coolest ^_^

I thought the music was very good as well. Some new songs ^^

I didn't see the first 17 minutes of it!
I was so mad. my clock was wrong and I thought I had 10 mins to shower! but what was up with those poses they did? and When Crim was talking to Tsukasa he said Subaru was Handicapped..... wow..... that sucks..............but what about those stupid poses they did. especially B.T.'s and Crim's. Crim's sucked. He should have been lookin' hardcore for his pose but all he did was point with his blade. wtf. and B.T.'s sucked cuz she did one.

Tsukasu snaps out of his trance finally but what's with him yelling out at Crim "Don't hit me, Don't hit me", what's the deal with that but Crim plays it cool like " I'm not gonna hit you".

So Subaru in the real world is handicaped, didn't see that coming. I thought it would be Tsukasu who had something wrong with him in the real world.

The cool poses at the end were cool, the only one I liked was Mimiru's, but Crim's was cool too. Also I think Bear did write the book Crim, B.T. and Silver Knight were talking about cause after all if I'm not mistaken isn't bear an author?.

Only 3 more episodes, the suspence is really chewing at my brain, but damn I'm gonna miss next week's episode # 24 and I'm mad cause I know something really crucial and critical is gonna happen.
 :flaming:

What?!?!?! **** you! Crim's was so awesome! His pants were awesome too! I watched that part like 15 times over and over! Didn't you here is glaive make a swooshing sound when he pointed it out?!?! It was so Damn cool!!!

*cough* anyways.... Yeah, BT's sucked, but Bt always sucks.

Well, I watched it again and got kinda confussed at the aprt when Crim was talking to Subaru. She said she wouldnt get in his way (at first I thought she said she wouldnt be at his wedding >_<) I didnt get that part. I also didnt understand how Crim knew Tsukasa would come to the church...

This episode went by way too fast. The only long part was the commercial break. Then again, the first half seemed to be nothing but filler.

Tsukasa still has mental problems, but at least he is out of that **** trance. And is it just me, or do those fireflies seem to be symbolic of Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship? They only show up around those two, and only when they are thinking of each other.

Too bad it was Mimiru on the other end of Sora's blade, I was kind of hoping it would be BT.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I can't wait for next week. It is too far away. I must see episode 24 so that I can once again see Helba. Why didn't she show up today? :bawl: I will be quiet now.

I love this episode: goes right up there with eps. 14 & 19! "The Eve" cleared up a lot of ambiguity and solidified the characters to another level. Every character gained some new kind of depth. I also love the juxtapositions they use in this show! First Mimiru and Bear, then that Crim thing (red and blue), and now Tsukasa having a father in the real world and a mother in "The World!" Anyway...
I didnt like how BT came back. She is being really stupid. I wish she would just jump off a cliff or something.
Wow, she wrote what everyone was thinking! :) Haha, I would have loved to see B.T. die. Unfortunately, as much as I hate to admit it, that wouldn't fit in this episode: redundancy does play a key role in certain aspects of .hack, but "The Eve" focused only on things to come, and added (instead of developed) things in the .hack universe. I guess that's where the episode's title comes from: a fruition of things to come.
I thought the music was very good as well. Some new songs ^^
Yeah, that was really cool how they started the song and what was happening. It was well executed. The song is "One Thousand and One Nights" from the LIMINALITY soundtrack (it's in the mini-disc). I really love that song... The piano especially. I just dislike the yelling part, but everything that builds to that part is awesome.
Tsukasu snaps out of his trance finally but what's with him yelling out at Crim "Don't hit me, Don't hit me", what's the deal with that but Crim plays it cool like " I'm not gonna hit you".
You have to realize that Tsukasa has lost all guidance and trust (for others). In the real world, he only had a father figure, and he turned out to be hurtful - not someone Tsukasa's user could feel secure with. In "The World," Tsukasa thinks he now has a female/mother figure to give his entrustment to. When even that fails, experiencing both male and female guardians, Tsukasa is torn and destroyed. He no longer knows a gender direction that he can turn to. He wants to return to reality, but doesn't know if other people are something he wants. That's where Subaru steps in, IMO.
So it is true! Subaru is Handicapped! Thank you Crim for answering questions! *sacrafices BT* Hm... I loved how he explained her situation on why she wanted to play the world. And how she faces her challenges... More Wise words from Crim...
Haha, didn't I tell you Subaru is more in the game than even Tsukasa? The creators don't put stuff in for nothing. I like how .hack//SIGN has no excess: everything has a reason/use.
And the part when they all met at Helba's gate place. And then talked about the book thing... I bet Bear wrote it! *twitches* I also thought it was cool how they all did some kind of Neat-O pose before warping to that place that Helba was sending them. Crim's, was of course the coolest ^_^
I have to agree with shadowfire on this one: I think Mimiru's was the coolest. I'm inspired to make a banner with that pose! Anyone interested in a Mimiru Banner? j/k :) Silver Knight's pose was just lame, and so was B.T.'s (primarily because it was B.T.). :p
Well, I watched it again and got kinda confussed at the aprt when Crim was talking to Subaru. She said she wouldnt get in his way (at first I thought she said she wouldnt be at his wedding >_< ) I didnt get that part. I also didnt understand how Crim knew Tsukasa would come to the church...
She meant that she doesn't want to make people worry over her. She believes it's now her turn to help someone out (Tsukasa). She's been protected her whole life (in "The World," I mean), and she finally has the chance to do the same for someone else.

Crim knew Tsukasa would come to the church because he knows Subaru. I mean, because Subaru and Tsukasa are so much alike, Crim knows how Tsukasa should act if he was truly someone Subaru could relate to. He didn't know 100% percent, but he was betting that if he knows Subaru, Tsukasa would come. I'll elaborate more after the next quote. :)
Tsukasa still has mental problems, but at least he is out of that **** trance. And is it just me, or do those fireflies seem to be symbolic of Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship? They only show up around those two, and only when they are thinking of each other.
Yes, it's exactly that. Tsukasa and Subaru are both "trapped" in the game: this world is the world they prefer and admire. It's the reality they embrace.

Now, the bug is a subtle, small part of nature. You don't notice such detail except in real life, and in nature. Such a life that is fragile has to be held and cared for in order for it to thrive. Tsukasa kills that bug at the end of episode 1 (remember?), believing that he was not a fragile being that needed direction, and that he had found his place.

That's the relation that the bug symbolizes: both Subaru and Tsukasa are young (mentally), and need sustenance. Obviously, in episode 19, Subaru surpassed that state (that's why she said she was waiting for him), but Tsukasa is still weak. That's why Subaru can understand and seems to know Tsukasa best. She connects to him in this respect.

Haha, that's my two cents. Yeah, I'm a psycho... Go ahead and say so. ;)

That subaru handicap thing was probably a figure of speech.
Nope, she really is handicapped. In whatever episode it was the revovled around her at the end you could see that she was sitting in a wheel chair just before she leaned forward to hug ht computer screen.

I liked this episode a lot. Probably because of Tsukasa actually talking, a lot of Sora, and a lot of Crim. I liked how Crim was all staright forword. Sora was very funny. I liked the end a lot too...having Tsukasa that freaked out was interesting to watch.

Wow. This is such a great episode. The first half, as stated before, was more of a filler, but the second half was really awesome... For a while I thought that they were all gonna meet in real life, and they still might, but I'm not sure. I was so tired when it was on... But that paper that we saw in the real life flashback-like thing.. Was that the message from Helba telling them all to meet at that point so they could enter her Chaos Gate leading them to
Net Slum
? I think all hints point in that direction.. And i think those warp poses were really awesome, with Silver Knight being the coolest and BT's being OK.. But when they were going through that warping falling thing (Which is the loading screen, IMO) why didn't their clothes all rip like in the opening credits? Or is the ripping only for when they log out of the game, or what?.. X_X Well, I was sobbing and yelling "WARP THERE, TSUKASA! WARP FOR SUBARU!!!" At the end of the episode.. Geez, these writers know how to make a good cliffhanger.

^_^

I would have to believe so. From what I have read that area appears in episodes 24 and 26 (possibly in 25, too). That is why I cannot wait for next week because I know that Helba will be there.

I can't take it anymore. I hate it when they keep leavin ya hangin like that. All i have to say it that you are like killin me man. I just want to like find out what happens and not be left hangin all the time. That was the best episode yet. Well, so far i should say. I understood everthing, but the part with Tsukasa sitting in that room with that other person. like whats up wit that anyways. Thats like the only thing that stiill puzzles me a bit. I can't wait until next week when the next episode comes on. Like exactly what am i suppose to do for a whole week with waiting to watch it again. oh man, this bites. oh well, i liked the part where Mimru got mad at Sora and they were kinda fighting. That was a pretty cool part. and at the end where they go through the gate that Helba put there. That was cool when ya got to see them goin or gettin transported through that gate. Hehe!!! I also like the song that they were playing towords the end to. i think thats pretty much it. l8ta. pz out.
