Playlist

A member could fill in his/her songs that are on their playlist, then other members could see it. I think it'd be neat, and could give some members an idea of what their fellow members are like.

For v7, we are planning to connect your OB profile to your myOtaku profile (another good reason to register at myOtaku.com ~_^).

So, a playlist is something we'll look at.[/color]

This might be something in the works already, I don't know. However, to tie OB and theOtaku together a bit more, I think it would be a good idea. It relates to this idea.

As you know, you need to have seperate accounts on both OB and the Otaku. I'm sure many people have totally different names. I think it would be a good idea to add a field to people's profiles in v7 that links directly to their MyOtaku page... and vice versa.

So then ideas like the playlist being at MyOtaku and whatever else would work a bit better, I think.

That's one major aspect that we're planning. Adam and I both want to bring theOtaku/OB together a lot more in the future. myOtaku.com is a first step to that. Once it's all established and so on, we'll get v7 out the door...and v7 will connect to it in several ways.

For one thing, I'm considering a very minimal profile for OB, with the ability for members to link directly to their myOtaku profile. It's even possible that people can input their sign-up details for myOtaku into their OB account...so that their profile links automatically. That way you can't "officially" link to someone else's profile. We've got a few ideas in the works there.[/color]
