Gaming fav. ff game/character

[color=indigo]Please, if you're (and this goes for everyone) going to post in a favorite thread, give a reason [i]why[/i] it's your favorite. And a good reason, too; "because it's cool," or something like that, is not a good reason.

I've already had to delete a couple posts out of this thread. A couple more I'll have to close it. So please actually give a reason.[/color]

My favorite character is Lulu from FFX. She's dark and moody. Torn between duty and the pursuit of happiness. It's sad that she lost her [spoiler]love and that watching Wakka is a painful reminder of her past...Chappu, her boyfriend[/spoiler], was Wakka's brother.

Celes and Lock.

Lock, some say, though a good char to use and is pretty effective and can use the best weapons... well people still say he was less important, story-wise than even Stragus.. Well thats wrong becuase without his ...drama lol. The game-for me anyway- would have been a lot less deep.

Anyway Lock because he is the bomb. Sorry Deskbreko but he is.. thats all there is to it. He cares, he is very fun to use and the thing with Celes always makes me smile lol.

Celes for the exact same reason. Other than that...she uses Runic.. gosh so cheap of a move :) Her and Tina almost go hand en hand except for the Morph Tina uses...aside from that Lock and Celes = My fav.

Watch out for FF7 SPOILERS!

Favorite Final Fantasy: 7, of course. The storyline really struck an emotional chord, and I identified with almost all of the characters. Plus, I liked how the ending was hopefull, but not too happy.

Favorite character: Aeris. But before you say anything, I really like Tifa too. The whole Aeris vs. Tifa debate got old a long time ago. I only say Aeris because she made the ultimate sacrifice in order to save the planet. She was young, beautiful, happy, and had everything going for her, but she gave that all up, even her new friends in AVALANCHE.

My favorite FF would be 7. This has the best story of any medium I have ever seen, read, or heard. Sephiroth is my favorite character, although I identify most with Squall when he is cold hearted.

My other favorites would be Lulu, Auron, Terra, Cecil, and Cid (7).

Hmm...my favorite FF's would have to be 3/6, 8, 9, and 10 I found that FF7 was lacking...something, beats me, I just didn't like it as much, FF3 was one of the best SNES RPG's out there, and I never played another FF until I got a PS2 last year.

I'd have to say Wakka and Squall are two people I most relate to. Wakka seems to dwell on his mistakes, but in some cases is also [spoiler]naive, and willing to believe what he is told or he wants to believe, like his brother's death, and the Teachings of Yevon.[/spoiler] On the flip side, he also enjoys hanging with friends and is more easygoing around them. Also, he is sort of the glue that holds his team together, and I am like that towards my friends.

On the other hand, sometimes I feel a bit of a darker side of my personality, hence my "Squall" side. This is the part where I don't really care about anything and my standard response is "Whatever". I don't communicate well with people sometimes, and seem to have quite a few issues with contact with other people. In any case, I'm more like Squall when I'm bored or feeling argumentative or something.

I find that I relate to Squall, and Squall only. I often just want to be left alone, or for anyone who is with me to just enjoy the silence. I often find myself agreeing with Squall's mentallity that if you don't become used to people, you won't be disappointed by them or worse yet, be rejected by them. I know many people are this way, but I probably feel this way too strongly.

Celes was an awesome character in every respect. She had a great power, great backstory, great art... she was just a very well rounded character that I think actually worked well. Especially her scenes with Cid and that other guy (his name escapes me). She almost seemed like the focal point, ahead of Terra even.

I'd go with her or Cecil.

How can you not like him? I love his hair. I mostly like Cloud because of his appearance. Shallow, I know, but whatever. Maybe that's why I hate Squall...I think he's actualy very ugly. =_=

But I have another character I love, from FVII as well. Cid has always been a peak of interest for me...don't ask. O_o;; I can't explain it, I just think he's a cool character. Unless someone [i]else[/i] wants to kill him off, too. :3[/size]
