I have read the first one PREISTESS and I wanna read the second one ORACLE. anyone wanna talk about it with me?? (i luv this topic!!!) i just finished the 8th book last night too! have u seen the series yet? its almost exactly the same as the manga, but i actually like the series more cuz i think the manga is a bit cheesy and i think the show pulls the story off better. i'd say unless u were (or are) totally obsessed with the series like i am, dont get the rest of the manga cuz its not really worth it. in my opinion- they're just nice to have and :blush: photocopy pics of tamahome from :drool: anyway, if u do decide to get the manga, i think a good site to get it from is [url]www.animecornerstore.com[/url] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love the series... I know way too much about it for my own good. Chichiri's Girl Posted August 5, 2003 Share Posted August 5, 2003 I haven't seen much of the anime just alot of the clips. I have voulmes 1-8 of the manga and I love it. It gets alot funnier as the series goes on and they collect more senshi. I just wish viz would come out with them faster. Alothough with the new viz the books are cheaper instead of $15 its gone to $10 and they said that 4 will come out each year so its better than it used to be. I can't afford to buy ANY of it. I just sit and read it in the bookstore :smirk: though I'd buy it if I could. I've never seen the anime, I don't think it's running anymore . . . and dvds are even more expensive than manga :bawl: Miaka isn't like me but I tend to really love main characters no matter how unlike me they are. FY was the first manga i have ever read, and after reading over 120 manga, it is still my top favorite. There are 13 manga in part 1 and 5 in part 2. Because of second edition printing, the only FY manga that is being printed are volumes 1-4 and 9-12. Volumes 5-8 and 13 will be coming out tho. I have read all of the manga up to book twelve and it is an excellent series. Theres humour and seriousness and if you are a true fan, there are times when you will definatly cry. There are also anime dvds that are out/coming out. (the first three are out, and the forth comes out 11 january). There are eight dvds in all but all of them have 6-7 episodes on them each^_^. By the way, I LOVE HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS EMPOROR HOTOHORI-SAMA!!! oh, and the thirteenth manga is coming out 1 April, and i asume the fifth manga is coming out in february, tho i could be wrong...
