i start the 19th. i gotta get used to my new school. I swear, i will get lost on the first day and be late for class. I'll be the laughing stock of the school. Then again, i would be known by everyone. Maybe i should do it on purpose... :smirk:
Woo! Go blue and gold!!!

I can't wait for school to start. I love school. Like I said in another thread, I will be starting my Junior year in Senior high school. I love school. I enjoy all of my classes. I can't wait for Japanese, Woodshop, and Pottery.

I can wait. I could wait forever. I hate class, and school, so boring, so evil. I am kind of glad that I will get to see some of my feinds, because I haven't seen some for the whole summer. But then again I am not ready at all.

I am not looking forward to studying for geometry, physical science, and Spanish. But yes, I think I'm happy to be going back to school. It's getting pretty boring here at my house, and I just hope I'll get a good schedule.

Well I graduated just before summer, but I'll soon be going to a local community college.

I'm sorta nervious about going, since the schedule is so hectic and all.
I'll be majoring in Art. Hopefully I'll become an even better artist than I already am.:D

I just wish they'd teach Japanese there too.

I am going to be a high school senior this year. I really do not mind school. It gives me something to do rather than just sit around wishing I was doing something, although I get those thoughts at school sometimes too. >.>

I am taking several artsy classes this year, though, so I should have a pretty good time. That and doing the newspaper and theater. That will probably make things rather hectic, but oh well. We could all use a little chaos sometimes.

*sigh* I start school on Wednesday, and I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm not looking forward to seeing certain people. Like those annoying immature people. They get on my nerves so bad. I don't want to see certain teachers either. But as soon as I get my routine set, I'll be ok. It's the beginning of the year that always sucks.

Do your schools do mission statements? My school requires that every class does one. And every statement says basically the same thing. While the idea of a mission statement might have some values, I think making me do one eight times is stupid. They have no meaning at my school, and are a complete waste of time. Does anybody else's school do this crap, or is mine the only one?

I dunno about going back to school. I'm going to be a freshman, but I think it's cool. I get to freak out as many people as possible, annoy the H**L outta them, if I'm lucky enough, make some upperclassmen friends (psh, yeah right. But it's a cool dream). And you know, maybe I can find a boyfriend this year (my school is regional, so there's kids from two other towns, and mine, coming in. More kids).

I sorta don't want to go, though, because I'm afraid the time will go by really quickly, and then I'll be going to college, and then only a little bit after that, I'll be on my own. And that's scary. >_<

I love to go shopping for school clothes. It's SO much fun, and I get to pick out the trendy and cute stuff for school. And I get to spend money on it, and I dunno. I just think it's really cool. Yeah. :)

EDIT:

I forgot to mention, the other, BIGGER reason I don't want to go back to school is because there's a group of kids from my middles school comming with me to my high school who think they're better than everyone else, like some white supremesist (SP?!?) or whatever, but some of them are Hispanic, too! HA! That makes no sense to me.

Anyways, these boys always made racial comments toward Asians in my middle school. Mean things. And for those of you who don't know, I'm half Asian, and I look it.

Here's a plethora of examples of how nasty these kids are.

One kid ADMITTED to taunting his Korean friend, Matt Cha. And this guy, Chris, says "Matt Cha doesn't care." Yes, but other people DO. And besides, how do you REALLY know Matt doesn't care? (He strikes me as the Macho type, who wouldn't say if it hurt him)

And they made comments all year in eighth grade, about a geoemtric term, CPCTC, which stands for "Corresponding Part of Congrutent Triangles are Congruent", but of course, they turn it into "Chinese People Cut the Cats". And maybe you think it's funny, but it's not very when you're Chinese.

Another kid, Jordan, made some comment about Asians to another Korean, Albert Pak, and it upset him, so he told our Principal. That comment was pretty severe, I take it, becuase Jordan got suspended for it.

They also taunted Steven Lee, who's, not only Asian, but NEW to our school.

These jerks made fun of Alexia Kwakowski, who's part Philipino, and she's adopted. They don't know that, but their comments hurt her all the same. My mom said she went to counseling because of it. That person was the same Chris in the Matt Cha case.

And you know what? Only one teacher did something about it. My L.A. teacher lowered Chris' grade, put a note about his behavior on the the report card, and called in his parents.

This summer, some vandals graffitied the bricks of the school with swastikas, a message like "the VP must die" or something, and then, my mom said, some [negative] Asian comments. They graffitied another time, and tried to break into the school. I bet you any money it was those kids.

My mom talked about this to the Middle school Principal, and in the fall they'll be working towards tolerance, and telling the teachers how to deal with it. But that doesn't help me, because I'm going to the high school, which is run by a different bunch of people, because it's part of a regional HS system.

I'm gonna have to go to school with them, and they're smart too, so they'll be in AP/Honors classes with me, so I don't know what to do about them. And that's one reason why I don't want to go.
P.S.: When you have this going on in your mind, and when I've been talking about it with my mom a lot, like I did this summer, you start thinking everyone's like this. Or that someone, even a friend, might say something like this. Because maybe you know they like to joke around. They could make a JOKE about it, and not know it hurts you. So then I could pounce on anyone who may think of making such a comment. Even though I should know them well.

Racists eh? I get that alot too. Or used to get. Just keep your head held up high, and focus on whats before you, what you need to do. Shut them up by getting higher grades than them. If they are the "we are superior than you" type, that should hurt them quite alot... And besides, if they are making you not want to go back to school, you're giving in to what they are trying to do. Ignore them. Resorting to such slander will only shorten their lives. Whatever they say, keep the self-confidence within. I've had similar insults thrown at me and since I'm in a pretty much all-white school, its rather hard to get help. But know what? They're scum. And will you take in what a scum says? No.

Ugh...I don't like racists one bit. I know how you feel about not wanting to go to school because of racists. It's sad to hear people are today, but I've experienced racism before. Since I'm hispanic, you can get alot of racism living in the south west (especially when I lived in Texas *shudders*) Anyways, I always seem to get a racial comment everywhere I go...And when me and my family were moving to Arizona from Washington, we stopped by this hotel in Nevada, we were very tired (we've been driving for ten to eleven hours) and we needed a hotel to rest in. However, each hotel we went to was either a "We don't accept your kind here." or a "We don't have a place for you.". So we had to spend our night in our cramped car that night. Not very comfortable...Sorry to hear about that stuff...Anyways, I'm not really lookin forward to school, just more responsability and more homework...

Kids like that would have there scrawny little ***' kicked in my school for that crap. Here at my school, it is so deversed that you can't aford too be racist in fea rof your life. I mean if a white person says the "N Word" in any manner they get beaten by the whites, hispanics, asians, and especially the blacks. But then again, i am part of a military family, so its natural for me too see alot of diverse places.

I'll be starting 11th grade this year. I'm looking forward to it. I have done too much setting around and doing nothing and it has gotten old. I will be attending Polaris too, which I'm really excited about. Polaris(career center) is were people can go to prepair for the future. I'll be going there for half the day, then the rest at my normal school. At Polaris I'll be taking Interactive Multimedia, in other words; Art. I'll be working with Photoshop too. I'll only be taking 3 classes at my high school this year. ^^

From now, I still have about twenty days until school starts again and I rather be in school!

When we still had school, I was hoping it to end early. But now, I found out that it's boring staying at home.
