Anime .Hack/sign///.hack/mutation

Ok, Everyone thinks .hack/sign characters look
just like the people in the games but have nothing
alike.If so, who is Piros(black hair,big brown robe)and the girl with pink hair and the red cap
with the red cloak supposed to be?

well, the person with Pink hair is Black Rose, shes a look a like of Mimiru... unless you mean Nuke... hes a mutated Crim... Nuke is fruity... The guy with the red cap is Kite.

It's annoying how so many people think that the characters in .hack//SIGN are the same as the characters in the .hack Games. It's a MMORPG so a lot of people look the same but their personalities are very different.

OK. Not all the characters look the same as someone from SIGN. That's just a small rumor among some .hack fans.. The preset player characters that we have seen (or know are not custom characters) goes as follows:

Elk/Tsukasa
Mimiru/Blackrose
Orca/Bear (or close enough)

And I suppose there's others, but I don't have a PS2. -_- But Mia and Piros either have customised player characters or have preset characters that nobody else that we see in The World has.

I can answer something!!! Im so happy!! ^^
Anyway, I think i know the reason for this but it invloves MAJOR SPOILERS. Here it goes.

Piros has [spoiler]some type of association with CC Corp. so he has an illegal character which he secretly plays as (see the secret section in LIMINALITY 2 for more details. [/spoiler]

Mia is, from what i know, [spoiler]the 6th "phase" and is a different version of Maha.[/spoiler]

This could explain why these characters are so different from the rest. Although it seems sort of odd to me that a game with over 20 million people with have such limited character presets...
