The sound of clapping hands was heard. Vash, Irvine, and Kate Turn to the door to that Demerti was there lening up aganst the door

" Wonderful speech Vash your just like he said you were"

" You mean Knives!? Tell me were he is"

" Maybe.......MAYBE NOT!" Demerti yelled as he moved quickly at Irvine with his cane ready with a small 4 inch long blade at the end. Irvine moved or his Pheonix Soul but Demerti had blocked him and drove the blade in his right shoulder. Vash took out his gun and fired it hitting Demerti in the shoulder. Demerti hit the floor then rolled to were Obiwaban was and help him up.

" HA you fools that man will die in a matter of hours from my pioson, An the only known qure is in here" Demerti said as he held up his cyber right hand " Its in a holo chamber, Vash! if you want him to live meet me, Grave, And Obiwaban infront of the clock tower"

" The pioson again you dont give up do you?" Kate said

" Well 3rd times the charm" Demerti said as he ran off

Obiwaban got up and ran out the door at an unltra high speed... dodging bullets as he ran. Irvine followed him outside but he was already gone. Obiwaban was running along rooftops. As he ran grave cam and ran at his side. He looked down to see Demerti running below, dodging a full bullets from the Pheonix's long range mode. Obiwaban smiled, "we win".

Irvine stoped shooting at obiwaban and put away the phinox soul. "Irvine are you o.k" kate asked comeing out of the bar. "Ya i'm fine. The poison probaply wont kill me as fast as they think. Like I said, I wont allow my self to be killed by any one but knives" irvine said pulling out some bandage and wraping it around his solder. "I guess if you can keep your self from being killed you have a strong will" vash said comeing out of the bar. "I guess. So let's go, we have some people to fight" irvine said checking his first gun. "Are you sure your up to it. If you take it to hard the poison will move through your system faster" kate said. "Yes i'm sure. Like I said before. I will not allow my self to be killed by any one other than knives" irvine said as he started walking to the clock tower.

Kate and Vash started chasing Irvine. After all, Knives might be here to... They saw Irvine stop near the clock. They stopped 20 feet away ad hid in an abandoned building* *all of them are abandoned* Irvine stopped to see Demerti standing there with grave behind him. Knowing Obiwaban he was probably hiding somewhere.

"The Final Battle Begins!" said Demerti as he fired a narow beam of blue light at Vash. He manges to dodge but were he last stood a small crater had been made

" Like it? its compressed plant energy very unstable" Demerti said as he loaded a gray vile and he aimed at Vash and fired Vash jumped out of the way and pulled out his pistol and fired . With one of the bullets hitting his left shoulder the other 3 were stop by Demerti mental hand.

Irvine graped his stab shoulder in pain as he felt somthing fly into it." Obiwaban must be snipeing from some were I have to find him" Irvine thought as he ready his Phenoix Soul as another shot wized by he head. He went for cover and fired a shot were the last one had came from but he heard nothing " He's good must be moveing every time" Irvine thought as a bullet hit his foot "AHH" Irvine yelled as he quickly tried to aim were he thought he saw Obiwaband shadow but he eyes were a bit blurry when he shot and he missed.

Gave un coffen his pistols as took aim at Kate. " No Fare why did i get the creepy one" Kate said as she made for some over as bullets went by here head. she manged to inside a building and aim her gun at Gravee the shot only sratch his face. He then grined and ready his coffen and aim at the build Kate was in.........

"Sorry grave but your not killing her" irvine said starting to run at grave. He wiped out his hand and the gun became straight. The barrol extended and two blades came out of the sides. Irvine cut the barrol of grave's gun once he reached him. "This is some thing that i'm trying out. The phinox soul can be used as a blade weapon. I expect it to be used by those who are skilled enough to be able to use the blades and the gun parts at the same time" irvine said smilling.
Obiwaban started shooting again as irvine ran. "That will be a nice addition to my collection then" grave said starting to shoot with another gun. Irvine pulled out his other gun and focused on obiwabans location. Irvine shot and herd the sound of metal hitting skin. As irvine ran the shots from obiwaban were slowed. "I guess I hit him in the leg again" irvine thought as he ran back towards grave with the phinox soul back to the sword form.

[Onix]

Tao rose from the shadows next to Irvine.
Tao: Forgetting some one?
Tao pulled out his sword.
Tao: I think your out of your league. I figure that I could have killed you, oh, about 50 times so far, tonight.
Irvine pointed the tip of his blade at Tao.
Irvine: If your so great, then why don't you fight like a man, and stop shadow-shifting.
Tao: You ask to duel me? My boy, I was the most feared assassin on all of Gunsmoke even before I met Knives, and was given my power. Let us duel.
Tao stopped for a moment, hearing the gunfire going on in the background.
Tao: On second thought, let's go to a quieter place.
Irvine found himself being pulled through shadow for what seemed like hours before he returned to the ground. He looked around, seeing the town only in the distance.
Tao: Now, we can duel.

Irvine pulled out a small capsul and put it in the phinox soul. "What's that. A new type of flare" tao asked. "Kind of. When I first had the idea for the phinox soul I thought about makeing this capsul. Since I met you I decided to make it" irvine said pulling a switch. The phinox soul started to glow with a white light. "So it's a battle of the light and the dark" tao said with drawing his sword. "Sure seems like it. But for fare warning the capsule can last for hours" irvine said as he charged tao. Tao defended against the strike and then dissapered. Irvine turned around and defended. "Even if you use the power of the shadows my scar will tell me witch direction you'll crom from" irvine said smilling.
They swung at each other but only got close cuts but nothing leathel. They swung at each other striking each others weapon. "Normaly my target would be dead by now so I cangrat you on your skills" tao said smilling. "Thanks for that. Once I bring you down i'm going for your friends and then for knive's head" irvine said as they swung at each other again. "This may be fun but I nead to end this and meet up with the others. I feel a bit tired but not much so can still be able to finish this" irvine thought as he swung for tao and tao defended. Tao tried the same and irvine defended.

Obiwaban: I may as well go help with Vash now.
Obiwaban becan running across rooftops, blood spurting from his side. When he arrived at thhe sceen he saw Demerti and Vash excanging shots.
Obiwaban: This aint getting nowhere... Ill help out to.
He took a rope with waits on each side and threw it at Vash, wraping him up
Vash: What the heck?!
Demerti aimed the end of the barrel at Vash's head.
Obiwaban: Didnt master Knives say to let him kill Vash?
Demerti: Who cares, hes mine. Then Ill kill Knives.
Obiwaban pulled out his gun
Obiwaban: I wont allo....
Demerti shot him right in the heart.
Demerti: Die Vash the Stepede!!!
There was a gunshot... Demerti fell to his knees... Knives was standing behind him with a rifle.
Knives: Obiwaban was right... you shouldent disobey me.

[Zen]

"Vash, my foolish brother. It is time for me to show you just how powerful i have become over these past 20 years." Knives said as he took out his black Colt .45 Revolver from its holster and pointed it at Vash. "Say hello to my "Demon Arm"! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!" Knives said as his arm megered with his gun and a large black, organic cannon came fourth with bat like wings on the end and a menacing black ord floated in a cage in the center of the cannon. "Die...."

Vash quickly created his Angel Arm and fired at Knive's as Knives fired his gun. But the power of the Demon Arm casued Vash and everyone surrounding them to fly several yards away. Knives stood with a menacing smirk on his face as the others raised onto there feet.

Grave and Kate both struggled to their feet. They both looked over to see Vash and Knives standing there preparing for round 2. They quickly ran off... Grave picked up the barely breathing Obiwaban as he ran. He saw Demerti's body a few meters away. Suddenly, Demirti stood up. Aparently Knives missed his vitals on accident. He ran with the others, barely escaping the second wave. Grave stopped... they were far enough away now. Demirti caught up a few minutes later. they were standing under the narrow ark of a cliff. They werent even thinking about how Kate had escaped. Grave looked up on top of the cliff to see Tao and Irvine battling.
Grave: I gotta find our other opponent
He sat Obiwaban down beside the unconsiouse Demirti. He began looking for Kate

[color=purple] Kate panted as she ran away from Grave. "Man that guy is creepy!!!!" she ran into an empty cafe and hid herself as she checked her gun for bullets. "Good, 3 left in this one." she said then she got the gut that was strapped to her leg, she had not used it yet. "Now i have to wait for him to come looking for me." She heard running outside of the cafe she looked out the window cautiously. "Great, i didnt want him to come by that soon" she said too herself. She braced herself for him to come in but he didnt, he ran right by the cafe!! "Wow he didnt notice me, thats good" so she sat back down only to hear a crash at the back of the shop. "CRAP!!!! I should have known he would pull somthing like that." Grave walked through the Door to the kitchen. "Now lets get you finished off." said grave. "Not on my life grave youll die before me." She brought her gun up and aimed it at grave. [/color]

Demerti woke to find Obiwaband next to him. " He got what was comeing to him any one who trys to stop me from getting back my Rebeca will die and that means even master Knives" Demerti said as he reached into his coat and pulled out his now ruin pocket watch as he cluched it in his hands he remeber how Rebeca put that watch in his hands before she died. He then heard the sounds of Tao and Irvine fighting. " Hmm that pioson should start to take affect any second now" Demerti thought as he rosed to his feet. He pulled out a red and white vial with the words " Catergory Vash Number 0". He then put it back in the box and readede a green vail and then hide behide a rock and took aim at Irvine and fired a large Sound Wave that sent Irvine a good few feet back and knocked him out cold.

" What the ? Demerti!" Tao yelled as he saw Demerti walking towards him" Why did you do that?"

" Simple my good man that pioson i gave will take affect and second and he would not have been a worthy oppent for you"

" That doesnt matter! i need no one to help me with a fight" Tao yelled angerly

" If its any consulation he might wake up from the blast with your yelling" Demerti said sarcasticly " Now how bout you get me near Vash down there?"

[T man]

"Thats it, i'm kicking there buts" irvine thought geting up. His scar became as black as space. He got up and returned the phinox soul to normale but it was now glowing a light blue. He pulled out the last gun made in pergatory and it was glowing to. "See I told you he would wake up" demerti yelled at tao. Irvine dashed towards them and fired his guns. Small explosions could be seen on tao's and demerti's bodys. They fell down with A thud. "Since when can he move so fast" tao asked trying to get up but his body was paralyzed.
Irvine dashed to demerti with the blades of the phinox soul extended and cut off his robotic hand. "I could kill you two right now. But you two seem like it would be a wast of my time but who knows I may kill you any way" irvine said holding the guns two tao's and demerti's heads. Irvine pulled a seting and the guns went to the strong burst shots. "You can think what the shots will do at close rang to your heads" irvine said smilling. Tao and demerti looked scared. "Right now I have a bigger fish to fry. I'm comeing after you two after him so if you want to pray for your life you better do it soon. I'll keep the arm as a trophey" irvine said starting to laugh as he left the two and went after knives.

As Irvine left to the city, he was hit in the arm. He looks behind to see Obiwaban shooting at him laying down with his hand on his injury. Irvine shot at his stamach but missed. Obiwaban hit his other arm.
Irvine: I had enough of this crap! Just give up! you know you canthit my head!! You can barely see!
Obiwaban fired and grazed Irvine's cheek.
Irvine: Id hate to do this but...
Irvine aimed for the head. The second he pulled the trigger... the second he saw Obiwaban hit the ground... he felt a kitana slide through his throat...

Tao desperately tried to move.
Tao: Damn that insolent whelp! I will finish him!
Demerti: I've noticed your mouth can move.
Tao: Silence sorceror! I've had enough of your sarcastic drivel. After I slay that...that bastard, I'll come after you!
Tao was losing his trademarked calm.
Demerti: Any time, Ninja.
Tao: I could have defeated you before I got my shadow powers.
Tao snarled as he curled his hand into a fist.
Tao: That bastard will pay!

Gryphon silently readied himself for the role given to him by Knives, the insurance policy on he and the accursed Vash's fight. He was standing on a roof top with a view of a two block area of the fight.
Gryphon thinks to himself Knives, no one will interfere with this fight master.

I wasn't planing to go out that way

"I can't belive my life is going to end like this" irvine thought. He turned over on his stomach and started trying to move. "If i'm going to die then I want to die seeing vash fight knives" irvine said starting to get up. "Darn the poison. I'll probaply die by the time I get to the out skirts of the town" irvine thought starting to move. The town was about a mile away.
"I hope tao and demerti have slow and painfull deaths" irvine thought starting to walk. As he walked he felt pain and the last of his life going. A couple of minutes after walking he fell. "I guess this is it for me. I'm sorry for not being able to avendge the death of the people of pergatory" irvine thought as he layed his guns across his chest. As he felt his life go his scar returned to the way it was before all the fights.

[Zen]

"Are you ready for round two, Vash?" Knives said in his deep voice. He raised his Demon Arm again and pointed it at Vash again. They fired once again and the power of the Devil Arm over came the Angel Arm. Vash went and hit the ground, but simutaenously fired at Knives Demon Arm, putting holes in it. "NO! What have you done....Gah!" Knives said as the demon arm morphed back to his gun. "Thats it, it's time to finish this!" Knives said as he rasied his blcack revolver and aimed at Vash...

Obiwaban turned his head. He probably had 1 minute of life left. He looked up the cliff and saw Demerti and Tao stand up. Obiwaban thought for a second... Why did I help them? he thought. He watched Demerti and Tao argue a bit then Tao shot Demerti of the cliff. Demerti landed on his back. Obiwaban heard the sound of shatering bones... but Knew Demerti would servive. Tao had tried to kill him! His own teemate! He saw Demirti struggle to stand up. He saw Tao laghing and pulling out his gun.
One of us has to live Obiwaban said with the last of his breath. Tao looked down at him.
Obiwaban: It wont be YOU!
Obiwaban used the last of his strength to blast the crap out of Tao.
Obiwaban: You... gotta help... Grave... hes....... losing!
Obiwaban died. Demirti used of of his light healing capsuls on himself then walked off to find Grave

Demerti ran off to wear he had seen Grave went to " Obiwaband your sacrifiec (sp?) will not be forgoten" He thought as he came up to the building were Grave and Kate were at it was a old bar. He looked and saw Kate and Grave both had there guns aim at there heads. Demerti noticed the gut Kate had hidden behide her. "Have to get down there"
Demerti said as the ran down and snuck up to a window which Kate had her back to.

" I'll give one last chance Grave" Kate said. Grave just stood and grin and made ready to pull the trigger. It was then that Grave saw Demerti outside and he gave a nod to Grave. Demerti then slamed his metel fist threw the window and grab Kate's head he then brought both his hands on Kates throat. She felt the pain of Demerti's cold metel hand pressing aganst her throat.

" You and your friend have caues us much truoble young miss" Demerti said as he grib got stronger " Grave,! Obiwaband used he last bit of life to help us and the traiter Tao is dead. Go and help master Knives i will take care of the gril" Demerti said Grave nodded and ran off to the town.

" Irvine will stop him" Kate manged to say

" He might have been able to if he were still alive!" Demerti shouted as his grib again got stronger

" no Irvine is Dead NO!" Kate Yelled as she grab Demerti's noraml hand and tried to pry it off with her hands " Your lieing!"

" I can never tell a lie miss ,its a same that you sided with Vash your skills with piosons could have been handy" Demerti said as he felt Kate's nails go into his hand " Also your will to live reminds me of my sweet Rebeca actully if you were a few years older you would be her." That was the last thing that Kate heard before she blacked out and hit the floor. her final thoughts focused on Wolfwood Vash, and Irvine.

" There no there both out of the way if i hurry i can catch up with Grave" Demerti said as he ran off.

Grave and Demerti were running toward the main battle when suddenly a bullet grazed Grave's arm...
Grave: HM?!
The two turned aroound to see Zoma and NightAnGale standing there
Demerti: I thought you were on our side!
Zoma: Not anymore... we quit... I WILL KILL YOU TWO!!!
Grave dodged a few bullets and fired one of his giant bullets. Zoma had nowhere to run... she grabed Night AnGale's arm and thrust her into the bullet.
Demerti: YOU *****!!!
Demerti whiped out his cane.
Zoma: Ill shoot your bullet right out of the air!
They both fired... Zoma completely unaware that Demerti had a laser. The beam melted the bullet and went through Zoma's chest.
Demerti: Lets go
Grave: HM!

Grave and Demeti Ran closer and closer to the town were Knives and Vash were fighting. they stoped at the edgge of the twon

" Grave this is it we might not come out here alive" Demerti said as he loaded the Vial marked "Catergory Vash Number Zero" " So as my father once said, If your going to go out go out with a bang!" Demerti said as he and Grave ran into the fight between the brothers. Grave ready his pistols and made for cover behide and pice of rubble at took aim at Vash and fired.

" What the !?" Vash said he quickly doged the bullets and fired back at Grave. " Whats this Knives cant fight me with your little gang? " Vash said mockingly

" Grave? Demerti? What are you doing here!" Knives yelled

" Making sure you win master!" Demerti yelled as he jumped down from a roof " And so i can get my Rebeca back" Demerti thought as he brought his cane into Vash shoulder injecting the vail.

" GAH!" Vash yelled in pain as he grab his shoulder in pain " What did you do!?" Vash said

" Simple its a specail pioson that only affect you its will slowly make your cells self distruct good plan no?" Demerti said as he and Grave walked over tp Knives

" Well done Demerti, Grave" Knives said

" Look Knives i did my end of the contract now about my Rebeca" Demerti asked

" Why would i bring back HUMAN TRASH" Knives yelled as he shot Demerti in the Heart sending him flying back next to Vash " Stuip humans that why you should die your fealings ha i laft at it your nothing but a fool" Knives said as Grave stood there.

It was then that Vash felt somthing prick his neck. He looked over to see that Demerti had another vial in his hand and he whispered the word "anitdote" and closed he eyes and said his final word" Rebeca"
