The images are poor quality, either get better ones or make those ones better. They should also be cut out instead of keeping their original bgs. The background doesn't fit the pics (purple bg I mean). The font in general should blend more with the bg, and be a different face. Just giving out tips that should help. The pasting of the pictures is a little choppy, and the font ain't to good either. The biggest problem was definatly how the text was in an odd place. Still, good job for your first banner. It isn't bad at all! I like the idea you have and I think the quote matches your characters also! Also, just a suggestion, try using pictures with the same color...like you see how your Kenshin picture is a purple-blue...well try keeping them all in the same color. But really good job! You do have potential, but of couse youi should definately work on it some more! Even I am still working at making mine better! WW2 Posted August 8, 2003 Share Posted August 8, 2003 For it to be your first, its pretty good. My banners always seemed to be all blurry, or pixely. But yours are clean and crisp. All you need to do to make it better is add a better, more lively, background, and maybe change the font.:D As for you edited one, I can't see it. So I don't know if its better or not. Is the font better? EDIT: I had to delete my previous post because it wouldn't show. Here is the banner. I changed it around a bit. I tried opening it and it opened with no problems. Enjoy! The images looked better quality-wise in the first one, and in the second one, they look like they are pieces of flat paper stuck on a blue felt-board. They don't have any depth. The third one is a bit better though... The font still sucksm because there is no way for green to fit your image. BTW, Rikku, on your banner you have "ryukku" written... Why is that? Just curious.
