Sign Up Zoids: Endless Conflict

[color=royalblue][Size=1][I][B]Zoids[/B], fighting machines capable of immense destruction and havoc in the wrong hands. Zoids are the ultimate weapon in the on-going and seemingly endless conflict between the Imperial forces of the Guylos Empire and the loyal soldiers of the break away Helic Republic. The conflict started almost 15 years ago, although it seems more like a lifetime. It all began on the day that the Emperor to-be Rudolph Gerhard Zeppelin III was assassinated, by what was believed to be a Republican Gun Sniper. First-Admiral Gunther Prozen dispatched all available troops to avenge this grave insult to the Empire. The Republican President, Madame Camford claimed that the Republic had no involvement in this assassination of the Prince, and that this attack would spark a new War between the two Nations, if Prozen did not remove his troops from Republican Territory at once.

Prozen ignored the Presidents demands and at once began a full-scale invasion of the Helic Republic, although he had never accepted the existence of the Republic and merely refers to them as Rebel Traitors. Although the Imperials forces had the surprise attack advantage, the Republicans had there own secret weapon, [b]the ZG[/b]. The ZG or Gojulas was designed to be the Republic's ultimate weapon. Three ZG Zoids were dispatched along with several units of Command Wolves, Pteras and Republican Shield Ligers. The Battle was fought long and hard and in the end neither side attained victory over the other. Commanding the Republican forces was veteran trooper Colonel Krueger who was able to blunt the Imperial assault. The war became merely petty skirmishes back and forth between Republican and Imperial Territories.

More recently now however, the Empire is stepping up it's attacks. They are coming more often and stronger than ever before. The Republic's response has been to increase the number of patrolling Zoids along the Imperial Border with orders to terminate all hostile threats to the Republic. The new President, Walter Krueger, son of the now deceased Republican Commander Colonel Krueger has inherited his father's knack for dealing with Imperial threats. However the same can be said for Emperor Gunther Prozen's son, Gunther II. He is every bit as malicious and cunning as his father and wants more than ever to see the end of these [B]Rebels[/B] that desecrate his fathers land. Gunther has learned of a weapon his father was developing to finally exterminate the Republic and complete his father's mad dream. The weapon is indeed the forbidden and long lost [B]Death Saurer[/B].

With the incredible power of the weapon at his control Prozen would be able to crush the Republic in but a swift blow to the heart of their territory, New Helic City. This is where Prozen will strike when the Death Saurer is at full readiness. If he prevails with his plan there is no telling what he may do. The war is becoming more and more vicious and it seems quite likely that only one side will see existence after this war is over. The Republic has learned from intelligence that the Empire is in possession of a weapon of such destruction, that it will spell the end of the Republic itself. The Republic is recruiting Zoids pilots of great skill to form a small strike team, which will attack and destroy this weapon before it activation, and that is where you come in.[/I]


[I]Just a few things before we begin[/I]

1] The Character sign ups will consist of three parts, the Pilot, the Organoid and the Zoid, so it's a bit long but necessary to have enough information about different our characters.

2] I am allowing an Organoid counterpart to the pilot. However if you choose to take this option remember that if you lose your Organoid you will be quite a bit weaker in battle if you rely on it for combat victory too much.

3] I will allow people to evolve their Zoids through the course of this RPG but please remember it takes a lot of battle experience to achieve this.

4] When choosing a Zoid please keep in mind that I would prefer to have a bit of variety to the sign ups so lets not have more than one of any Zoid, keeping in mind to start with medium powered Zoids and one not too powerful.

5] I am allowing people to be members to the Imperial Guard assigned by Emperor Prozen, if you wish to serve him you will receive your orders once the RPG starts but until then you will stay in the Special Operations Barracks in Guygalos.

[I]Personality[/I]: Lucas is very fierce when it comes to fighting on the front lines and he has been commended several times for his victory record. While in battle Lucas keeps a level head and is very determined that when he starts a fight that he will be the one leaving it in one piece. When off the battlefield Lucas is one for a laugh and a joke and enjoys a good time before he has to fight again.

[I]Personal History[/I]: Lucas remebers very little about his previous life with other Zoidians. He was found roughly 13 years ago by the Republican scientist Dr D. Dr D brought him to meet Colonel Kruegar and both were quite interested by what he could remember of his old life. Lucas told them all he knew but very little was relevant. They were quite intrueged by his ability for Zoid piloting and it appeared he was well trained in combat excercises. They offered him a chance to become a Zoid pilot for the Republic and he accpeted seeing as he could learn as he trained. Lucas spent most of his time in Special Oppeartions but was often treated like a baby by his the others which pissed him off a lot.

He proved himself though 7 years ago, in a battle against the Empire which would have cost all the lives of the team sent in if not for some quick thinking and fancy moves by Lucas. Over the years Lucas has earned much respect and is often a military advisor to President Krueger. He works very well with his best friend Link and never goes into battle without him. Lucas usually used a Saber Fang for his missions before he was promoted to Major, but for this new mission he has been given a new toy by the ever brilliant Dr D, the Slash Liger. In close combat he was told this had no equal. Lucas is wary about this mission as a shadow grows in his mind that he knows something about the Empire's new weapon

He wears a non-standard Republican uniform- ditching his normal jacket to wear a long sleeveless trenchcoat with armoured shoulders, along with fingerless leather gloves and heavy black boots. On the left side of his face is a purple triangular streak, the mark of his colony.

Personality: Aidian is bold, determined and stands up for what he believes in. He has a good idea of what is right and wrong and will do his best to uphold what he believes is justice. He hates Prozen II's reign, but knows that most of the soldiers are only following orders, as he does. At times, he gets irritated by the constant fighting and becomes apathetic. Above all, though, he knows he has to be strong to help the Republic come to victory.

Personal History: Aidian grew up in a large colony south of New Helic City, and was given combat training by his uncle, Captain Jayce Phoenix, from a very early age. His father was constantly trying to get Aidian to stop, but he loved the Zoids so much that he refused and went to live with his uncle in the Republic's capital.

Several years later, after he'd joined the army, he came home to discover his uncle murdered- by his father. Although extremely distraught by this, Aidian only arrested his father. It turned out he was paid by the Imperial Army to assassinate Jayce to cripple some of the forces around the Capital. Aidian took his uncle's zoid and raced onto the battlefield, and was almost immediately promoted to Lieutnant as a result.

Appearance: Alaris is a velociraptor-type organoid, and as such looks much like a minature Gun Sniper, albeit with closed casing and no extra weapons. His armour is mainly a metallic blue, with silvery joints and purple eyes. On his back are two small booster jets which allow him to fly for short distances.

Special Ability: Flight; like most organoids when he fuses with a Zoid he can increase its combat potential exponentially, but Alaris is not able to keep this up for long- he is a relatively weak organoid.

Personality: Jacen is a very brash officer who rose from the ranks instead of joining the army as a straight out officer, because of this he doesn't act like the other officers. He always voices his opinion about a tactical plan before it is his turn to speak, the other officers don't like this very much but the men trust him much more because they know he was once like them.

Personal History: His father was killed in a zoid battle while his mother was locked away for knowing the location of hidden bases of both the imperials and republic and not telling any of the information. He left to look for a zoid to use in zoid battles. He found a hidden geno saurer that was hidden a small hanger in sand two miles out side the town. Under the geno saurer was a tunnel leading to a capsule and that's how he found kiro. With kiro and the geno saurer he went out to make a name for him self as a great mercenary.

Personality: Bianca's very playful, and loves making jokes and playing about. But she can get very mean and nasty when she's fighting and you do something she doesn't like. She also cries very easily if one of her friends is hurt. She cares for the people she knows very deeply, even if they've only met five minutes ago, and will do anything for them...even as far as giving her life to save them.

The people who gave this Zoid also installed a heavy shock system, so that every time the Zoid is damaged, Bianca gets a shock equal to that of the damage. It's put her in the hospital before.

[Size=1][color=royalblue]Alright I'm quite happy with [I]most[/I] of the sign ups so far.

There seems to be a problem with the Support Systems part of the sign up, basically support systems are those which are not considered weapons like Shields (for damage control) or Cooling Tanks (to protect against overheating), things that are important to maintaining the Zoid.

Yoda this plays a lot like a Gundam RPG, now I know very little about Gundam, but if you get stuck I'll be more than happy to help.

Guys I said don't go nuts with powerful Zoids, and here I am looking at 2 Lightning Saix, 1 Genosaurer and 1 Liger Zero Jagar. Just to be perfectly clear:

1] The Lightning Saix was built to battle the Genobreaker, and as there are no Genosaurers yet because it is a spin off project of the Death Saurer there can be no Lightning Saix or Genosaurers, sorry but it's the way it is.

2] The Liger Zero is an Ultimate X, which is a Zoid with a permanent Organoid system, it is just too powerful to start with and would not allow you to have an Organoid too.

Appearance: She's very slender and looks quite flexible and fast. She has ice blue eyes and blonde hair that falls to her hips, draping over her shoulders when she bends down.(And if she ain't careful, she'll sit on it. I had that happen to a friend before.) She wears a short white skirt and a pink spaghetti strap tank top with a short sleeved overshirt on top of it. She has two pink, scarlike marks on her left cheek, the symbol of the Sky colony she came form.

Personality: Bianca's very playful, and loves making jokes and playing about. But she can get very mean and nasty when she's fighting and you do something she doesn't like. She also cries very easily if one of her friends is hurt. She cares for the people she knows very deeply, even if they've only met five minutes ago, and will do anything for them...even as far as giving her life to save them.

It's also got a shield that is pretty good at deflecting fire, even from up to five shots from a Gunsniper. The people who gave this Zoid also installed a heavy shock system, so that every time the Zoid is damaged, Bianca gets a shock equal to that of the damage. It's put her in the hospital before.
