RPG DarkFlame

[Squall]

The sky darkenned over a small town. Screams and panic filled the city. Many people left at the first sign, running with only the hope of staying alive. A man in a black coat sighed and walked down the emptying street. In only a few minutes, the only people left in the city were himself, the handicapped, and the people comitting suicide. The man held out his hand, and a drop of rain fell into it. He put his hands into his pockets and continued walking.

[i]has been two years since the tradegy of Oberan, but the entire country is still terrified.[/i] His mind wandered onto Oberan and the cursed darkflame. [i]Only a few people made it out of Oberan alive, and those people started spreading the word about the signs of the darkflame. First was supposed to be the coming of a strange wanderer, and then the darkening of the sky. After that illness would spread and seal there fate.[/i]

It would be days until any of the townsfolk started to wander back to their town, so the man decided to stay the night in an evacuated inn.

[i]nobody should worry about it anymore, if the flame wants you dead, chances are,[/i] He remembered the unexplainable deaths of the survivors. [i]you will die.[/i]

Two years ago-
Kitty was a 14 year old princess sent into exile, as her sisters had when they turned 14. She was to return to Oberan two years later. When she left the Kingdom of Oberan was in prefect condition. There was no sign of any trouble or death. Kitty left with no regrets and with hopes of seeing her family two years from then.

Two years later-
Kitty now 16 years old walks up the same path see traveled two years ago with a big smile on her face. "Today I finally get to return home," Kitty thinks as she walks past a small town. "Wow, I can't believe it's been two years already. Just wait until I get home, Just a few miles left and I'm back." The rest of the way Kitty walks in scilence thinking about her family, and all that happened to her during her time away from home. Finally after walking for about two hours she reaches the familiar sign showing her the way to Oberan. "Right around this forest and I'm home, I can't wait," Kitty says as she runs the rest of the way home. As she reaches the edge of the forest she slows down, expecting to see the fimilar top of the castle were she lived, instead she see nothing. "What," Kitty says as she runs toward the spot where her home used to be. "Th, this can't be real, the sign that I passed said this is the way. Where is it," Kitty screams, "where, it's supposed to be right here." She stops and screams in a frantic for help then sits and cries in the memory of her lost home.

"The town should be this way" irvine thought as he jumped from tree to tree. He had herd of a town called oberan that had been evacuated and figured there would be no one to stop him from stealing the treasurs in the town. He came to a clearing in the forest. "That strange the town should be here should be" irvine said looking at a map as he jumped out of a tree. He saw some one sitting on the ground and walked over to her.
"Excuse me miss but do you know where the town of oberan is" irvine asked. "Yes the town was suposed to be here but it's not. It had been here two years ago but it's not any more" she said as she started crying. "I guess you wernt here when it was evacuated thed" irvine said looking around. "What do you mean it was evacuated" she asked looking up. "I herd the town was evacuated for some reasion and I decided to see if there was any thing worth stealin" irvine said helping the girl up. "I'm irvine if you need any help feel free to ask" irvine said smilling. "Thanks, i'm kitty. I'm going to look for the persion who did this. Would you mind helping me" kitty asked. "I wouldn't mind. I like to go on advetures" irvine said as they shook hands.

[Squall]

The man in the abandoned inn lay in bed, staring at the celing.

(sigh) [i]I don't know why I go to bed anymore. This is starting on the third week of sleepless nights and tiring days. I guess going to bed is just a habbit.[/i]

He sat up and put his boots on, and then walked out of the inn. He wandered the streets, taking abandoned equipment and food as he wanted. Suddenly, he dropped his sack and fell to his knees, reaching at his back. Something glew bright red under his jacket. He screamed in agony as visions of demons and a poisoned mist filled his head. It suddenly stopped, leaving the man gasping for breath. He picked up his sack and walked down the road at a brisk pace. [i]somethings not right, I know it.[/i]

"So what can you tell me about the evacuation," Kitty asks. "What do you mean what can I tell you about it," Irvine asks uncertain. "I mean two years ago I was sent out into exile and now when I return it's gone. All of my family and friends are gone," Kitty explains. "So, you were sent out into exile," Irvine asks sounding interested, "what did you do?" "What I did was in the past. It doesn't matter now the town is gone," Kitty says in a very low voice, "no matter what I do I can't change what happened when I was gone." "So I guess what you did was pretty bad if you don't want to talk about it," Irvine said. "Really it's not important and it won't change a thing," Kitty says getting up ready to go, "so what can you tell me about what happened here," she asks again. "You tell me about your past," Irvine says, "and I'll tell you what I know." "Fine but noone else must know. Two years ago I was princess of Oberan, I was sent out into exile because it is, was a royal family tradition that when you turn 14 you must be sent out in exile for two years," Ok, now tell me whatyou know," Kitty demands.

[T man]

"From what I now some sickness came upon the town as a wanderer came. Those that lived through it evacuated the town leaving the disabled behind to get away. Some stayed and some returned after awhile but I think they were killed by the wanderer. Of course this from some research and rumor" irvine said. "It probaply happenend when I was away. I should of stayed" kitty said starting to cry. "Oh come on kitty. How could you have known it would happen. Come on if we can find the wanderer who did this we can keep it from happening to others" irvine said trying to reasure kitty. "Ya your right. We do need to find that wanderer so let's go then" kitty said whiping away her tears and they started on there search.

[Lone Bebop]

As Kitty and Irvine walked along the path going away from were Oberan once stood. Irvine suddlny steped on someting hard he looked down to see a person lying in the path.

" What The!?" Irvine said as he helped the guy up. He saw that the guy was Lanky looking with messy green hair. his eyes were blue with round glass that had a cracked lens. He has a gray trench coast with light blue shirt with white gloves and black pants with boots.

" Wa..wa...water" the man said

"Oh here have some" Kate said as she handed the man he cantine. The person quickly drank down and then stood up and looked at the pair

" Well i really must thank you i thought i was dead back there"

" What were you doing in the road?" Irvine asked

" Well a contact of mine said the lost princess of Oberan was coming back today and i wanted to meet her, But i kinda got lost and ran out of water and suppiles" the man paused " Oh! how rude of me, my name is Zen"

" Well Zen why did you want to find this princess" Irvine asked

" Well i had some questions to ask see i am after the guy who made Oberan dissaper caues my sister was there and she was my only family left"

" What did you want to ask me?" Kitty said

[Squall]

Before he could answer, a butcher walked through the forest. "The... the dark flame. It's back." He was breathing hard, as if he had been running all night. "Dark Flame? You don't think..." Kitty looked at the others and then took off down the trail.

They reached the empty town at dusk and walked through the abandoned streets. The man walked out of a bakery just as they walked past. "Hey, what happened here?" The man continued walking. "Rain."

I'll be gone for a week and a half
