I thought I heard someone talking about an anime called Those Who Hunt Elves. From what they said it sounds pretty cool, but I dunno.

I'd like to know a little more about it if any of you have seen it. Is it worth watching? What do you guys think?

I'd suggest watching it! If you like Comedy Anime, that is. Its funny, its got some great action scenes. The characters are great, the voice actors really fit. The story is funny on its own, which is basically... For Three people to go back to Japan after getting pulled into Middle Earth, they have to find and strip-off select Elves who have Spell Fragments on them. Of couse, you dont see anything, it has lots of swearing to tide you over if you feel you only watch "Adult" anime.

Wait.. So they were sucked into Middle Earth literally, as in J.R.R. Tolkien's creation..? :therock: Did they get permission to do so, or is Middle Earth open for anyone to use?

But this anime DOES look pretty cool.. Is it in stores or is it just Japan as-of-date?

SilpheedPilot and your Elves. This dude is always ranting about his show. It sounds good though from what he told me and it has really curent humor or what ever you would call it. Some where theres a joke about Alley McBeil or something that was pretty freakin' funny.

It not J.R somethings world...Its what the Elves world is called on Those Who Hunt Elves. The three people who are sucked into the Elves Middle Earth are from present day Japan, there is alot of current date humor, refreeing to people and things like Pamela Anderson, Ally McBeal, Dennys, and Starbucks.
The Elves Middles earth is all Medieval, but when the three people (Junpei the Martial Artist. Airi the Actress. and Ritsuko the Arms Specialist) get sucked into the Elves Middle earth everything begins to merge and become Present Day, with Medieval twists...Just watch it and you'll see...Its great.
It was released in 1999...So i'm sure you can find it somewhere.
