I chose Gargoyle God because someone commented that i cauld stay still for extended periods of time like a gargoyle. I've used that as my name for online games and what not. I chose god because I'm a god in any game I play:D . I beat everyone in everything.

My real name, Jonathon, is a variant on Jonathan, which means "Gift from God." Everybody should be thankful for my existence, lol. Don't know what my last name means.

As for my screen name, Drake Desbreko, Drake means "Dragon," and here's what the Hyrule Encyclopedia on Zelda.com defines a Desbreko as:

"Desbreko - Z6
Desbrekos are huge skeletal fish with sharp teeth. They have no stomachs to fill, but they nevertheless enjoy inflicting pain on the living."

My name on OB: Mina means literally 'Fish', but if you go real deep, it's a name for Pisces.

My OB Name is an anime Character, I had just started watching an anime called Neon genesis Evangelion, and Shinji Really appealed to me, then i remembered that i could be mistaken for the infamous Shinji of V2, so I also used his last name "Ikari". I was going to use what the suffix the name with in the Japanese translation "kun" I understand that there is now a "Shinji-kun" on the boards.

My, previous name, s@bretooth, was an X Men character, the @ was an attempt at putting some irreverence into the name. I've gone off using characters like that in user names now.

Shinji Ikari is also the Beast who shouted I at the heart of the world, Rising Sun, my anime series, is that beast. I'll leave that up to you to figure that one out.

Oh yay, 'nother thing of my name. My OB name (fully) is Serenity Bliss Tuscumbia, but I have it shortened to Sere Tuscumbia.

Since I'm really frankly tired of explaining my name, pretty much Sere is me. She started out as a Sailor Moon character, and although she still is, she's evolved into other personalities as well. But pretty much, she's my own original name (although, strangely enough, one of my friends came up with a character with the exact same name . . . O_o) and my own original character. *shrugs* That was so much easier.

For my real name, it's a little weirder. (Annie)-pet form of Anne

Leigh-Anne: (Leigh) "meadow" (Anne)-Short for Hannah, which means "favour" or "grace"

Bliss: Exactly that. "Bliss". Or maybe "happiness", or "child of bliss", but you get the main meaning.

Bradley: "Broad clearing".

O_o;; Weird name.

Well, funny story on mine. "GinnyLyn" is actually my third screen name, has been for nearly two years now. I didn't like "Ginny" just by itself, but I knew I wanted people to be able to identify me with the work I was (at that time) doing on theOtaku.com/Digimon.

My middle name is "Lyn", but as far as last names go, they change so often. I'm a first marriage child, and I was supposed to be adopted by my stepdad. By the time we ever get around to it, I'll probably be married, :rolleyes:, so I made both a s/n and my artist name at the same time. I dropped my last name and kept my middle for my last, so to speak.

"GinnyLyn" : the Pure/Virgin Waterfall.

Wow....it sounds stupid when I explain it....
Oh pish tush. I think it would be more ominous if you said: A deadly creature sent to the earth to destroy all hopeful life and replace it with the spawn of hell. *pats your head*

I could explain my nicknames, but then it would take a few days. I'll do my favorites.

"D" Why? ....casue everyone I know gets me mixed up with my mom. Who's name also starts with a D.....

"Hershy" Why? People think it's just funny that my last name is similar to a chocolate company. I hate it.

"Superfly" Why? .....I still don't know.

Heh, I'm paranoid, so few people find out my real name... But I'll explain my s/n to you O_o

Braidless -- As in "without a braid", in England, we call them plaits, but I have this rebellious American streak in me that won't go away. So I had to Americanise it for the sake of my sanity. :P So... yeah.. as I was saying... My hair is short, and it has been on and off (on more often than off) for 4 years now. So I am "plaitless" or "braidless".

Baka -- is "idiot" in Japanese... now my love for Japanese as a language and a culture outweighs the fanatic anime side of things. So yeah, throw in a bit of linguistics there... ^_^;; And... I'm pretty much the idiot... There's just no getting away from that ~_~;;

Also... In a lot of fandom Duo Maxwell (from Gundam Wing - as you probably already know) is refered to as a "braided baka" -- My favourite character in GW is Duo... and GW was my big kick into anime. So in a way he was "the first". My s/n has never changed since I first saw GW (except for the first 6 months or so I was "Duobat Chibi Shinigami" O_o) Since I am "braidless" so to speak, I just added the -less onto it... It's original, and I've never had to add nunmbers to it. So I'm happy ^___^;;

Heh, there's the answer to the burning questions O_o *twitches* Now! Onto discovering the meaning of life!! *pauses* *sweatdrops* Or not... O_o;;

Don't feel like explaining my real name, because frankly, I don't care too much for researching what my name means. I'm lazy like that lol.

My name is Future Trunks' Japanese name (well, part of it) and I gave myself that name when I was in my infamous "Dragon Ball Z is the coolest thing ever" phase. I'll probably change my name once Version 7 comes around, though.

Well my screen name is German for "ghost" or "spirit". (Think of "poltergeist".) And for my real names...Are you ready for some more German? (WARNING! Do not expect the following meanings to make any sense! They're not in order!)

First Name: Richard I know that you're thinking this name isn't German, but it is for me because my dad named me after the German version of it. It's spelled the same, but it has a different pronounciation. I believe it means, "powerful ruler".

Middle Name: Tristan This is what my friends know me as. My dad got this name from the story of Tristan and Isolde, (or Tristram if you prefer the English spelling.) It comes from the word, tristus and means "sad" or something like that. (I went to an aquarium where there were a few Germans looking around, and they had a son named Tristan. I couldn't help looking around each time they called his name. :p)

Middle Name: Johann Now this is probably my favorite name, although I hardly use it. It's German for John. I'm not sure if it has any extra meaning to it.

Last Name: You've endured so many names so far, I don't think I have the heart to give you another one. Besides, I'm not really sure what it means.

Well, that's it! (Unless you want me to go into nicknames...)

Well my user name, digitalshadow, is just as it says. I'm a digital shadow. Nothing really special there.

My first name, Robert, means 'bright fame'. My middle name, Dwayne, means 'field or meadow'. Now don't they sound special? I have no idea what my last name's meaning is though.

*waits for the inevitable Xena references*
*Looks around, sees no references, :demon:*

Can you do that thing where she shuts off someone's airways? :p

Hmm..............B...E...N. Short, simple, I like it. :whoops: If I remember correctly, though, it was a misunderstanding that originally got me this name.

Heh, some of my friends who are really big LoTR fans call me "Benbo Baggins." :rolleyes:

My online name, Double_B_DAigo means, Double Barrell Daigo. You know like the shot gun. For a while i wanted too create a Trigun Fanfic and i came up with two mane male character. Double Barrel Daigo and Kaiyden the Kid. Daigo, i don't know what it means, i got it from the capcom game "Rival Schools", Kaiyden(which you can see in my siganture) does not have a meaning. I was trying too come up with a character a long, long time ago when i was looking for an oreintal sounding name for a demon character i had drawn, i came up with Kaiyden. He went from Demon, to Vampire, to half-man half-dragon, to swordsman, to what he is now, a gunfighter.

my OB name is (obviously) taken from the main character (Lain, of course) from Serial Experiments Lain mostly because it sounds interesting and Lain is really freeky/wierd/scary like Rei from Evangelion. My real name means "pretty or beautiful" :blush: and my last name, which is chinese, can be interpreted to mean "golden mountain". cool huh?

Mayiessen is a last name I made up on the spot just for Otakuboards cause I thought Rhys was too short a name^^
