Have you ever heard a song that "fits" you so right? A song that "fits" your personality, it basically tells you your own personality. The mood, the tone, the style... It's like you're having your whole self read straight out to you. And when you hear it playing you can't walk away, you've gotta sit there and listen to the wle song. When it's playing, you remember things that you wouldn't remember without thinking back. It's heart-wrenching sometimes.

I just wanted to know because it seems I'm the only one around here that has their favourite songs because of this reason. I justw anted to see if there are any OtakuBoards members that are the same.

I have a few..
Metallica The Unforgiven I
Metallica The Unforgiven II

The Songs that fit me are...

Slipknot:The Shape- I am a man with problems I cant avoid.

Korn:
Here To Stay- Dont try to stop me becuase Im here to stay.
Bottled Up Inside- I always bottle up my feelings inside.
A.D.I.D.A.S- Like the song says. If you dont know what it stands for then it means "All day I dream about s**.

not quite sure if this song fits me personality-wise since it's more of a story anyway, but New Found Glory's "The Story So Far" actually fits a past scenario of mine pretty closely. I get mixed feelings listening to it, but I still like it (the memories and the song) nonetheless.

Anything by Slipknot basically. And these: Metallica, Fade to black - Where ever I may Roam - Enter Sandman - Seek and Destroy - Invisible Kid. I should stop now, or I'll be here for a while.

Hmm, I don't really know. I used to have a few songs that were pretty much like me or my life. One song was from Murderdolls, when I actually liked stuff like that, [for like 5 seconds] the song Dressed To Depress. That's how my life really is.

Heh, I know what you mean. Well, I tend to like music anyway if it's good, but the music that appeals to me most is songs/orchestral pieces I can relate to.

Pet Shop Boys- Somewhere
Pet Shop Boys- It Always Comes as a Surprise
Savage Garden- Affirmation
Savage Garden- You Can Still be Free
Meat Loaf- Heaven Can Wait
Mighty Mighty Bosstones- The Impression That I Get

Nothing too depressing in there, heh. *shrugs* I don't tend to get depressed very often.

Um... there are a few instrumental pieces, from soundtracks and what have you, that I think 'fit' me well, too. Like 'When I Find Peace Of Mind' from the second Evangelion series CD. Not just in the music, but the title, too.

I also tend to find songs that bring back memories... actually, not really memories.

Scenes or events that I'd love to go to, pictures and images I get of me there at the scene enjoying myself. You know? For example, Boys Of Summer by DJ Sammy gives me a picture of me at the beach, at a party, having a damn great time... and I really feel good about myself. I'll list a few and examples:

Boys of Summer DJ Sammy or The Ataris (love the music in it)
Freestyler Bomfunk MC's (love the beat/tune to it)
Everytime You Need Me Fragma
Shine Collective Soul
What It's Like Everlast (love the lyrics, and the smooth guitar in the background and at the end)
A few Eminem Songs -Sing For The Moment, Lose Yourself, Superman, aswell as In Da Club by 50 Cent.

All these songs have the most appealing music in them that I've ever heard, and they bring back the same image I get everytime I hear it. I tend to really get attached to the song and I never get sick of it.

Um, I think you mean 'Faint'. Faith is by Limp Bizkit and some other band. I forget...

Anyways, the ones I feel most fit me are only three songs. And they're all in the same album! ><

Faint- Linkin Park
Nobodys Listening- Linkin Park
Figure.09- Linkin Park

Alright then, I'll have to say that the song that fits me best, purely because I don't know the lyrics, is Mizerable by Gackt Job. It walks the fine line between classical and contemporary, just like I do, with an acoustic violin amped up. It's catchy, and has a great melody. I can relate to how they balance the violin with the drums and guitars in how I balance conservative views and liberalistic views.

My personality playlist includes:

1.) "Everywhere" by Michelle Branch. I always have this feeling that there is someone who is there, right beside me, almost like a gaurdian, but not visible to me. o.O I know, creepy but true.

2.) "Anything But Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne. I am anything but ordinary, or so says my friends and family.

3.) "Responsibility" by MxPx. I am and always will be a kid at heart!

4.) "I'm Just A Kid" by Simple Plan. Refer to song #3.

5.) "Somebody Hates Me" by Reel Big Fish. :) 'Cause somebody does hate me!

LOL, that's about it. C-ya on the other side! *flys off on one of her winged monkey soldiers*

My first pick would have to be Rachmoninov's Concerto No. 3. It is the hardest piano piece known to man. The piano itself though is only a fraction of the song. Without the entire orchistra behind it it plays weak and silent. It's... complex, like me.

Second would sadly be Madonna's Die another Day. With all the mercy of your heart, don't ask me why. I hate the song but I always listen to it through to the end.

I wouldn't want to meet half of you guys if some of these songs fit your personality lol. Some of you must be overly violent and depressed I guess.

I'd probably go with Bad Religion's You've Got a Chance. A lot of it is how I feel about things in general. It's hard to explain, but it's a very uplifting and adrenaline boosting song.
