Guest dayday
Uhh...what do I do with my brother? He keeps stealing all my stuff. Just five minutes ago he took my stereo. While I'm sleep or in another room, he'll go take something of mine and usually ends up breaking it. He took my old stereo and never gave it back and he said it started to smoke when he plugged it up. Now, that's broke and I got a new one. He took that one and my cds. He never asks for anything and just takes it. I'll ask if I can use something of his and he'll get a attitude and say that I can't use it and that I'd drop it or lose it. That's why when he's gone I take his stuff and when he gets back I put it away again. But it's usually his cd player since everything is under his bed and you can never find it. I just hide my stuff and use it then most of the time. Oh, anyway I need something to do to keep him from taking all my stuff.
LostProphet
Steal it back. If your parents have a problem with it, tell them its your and he never asked to borrow it. If they don't go with you then, thats pretty sad
Wintermute
How about getting a lock on your door? Or simply hiding anything he might want to take.
Jubei Yagyou
I think a lock on ones door is too anti social. If your older than him just beat em up and say thats my stuff... LOL just kidding. Well maybe just tell your parents to tell him that he cant steal anything anymore... Or just do what I said earlier...
Heaven's Cloud
Every time your brother steals something from you give him a swift kick in the groin. I guarantee that he'll stop stealing your stuff (or he will break your arm for repeatedly kicking him in the crotch)...
Guest dayday
My door doesn't lock. He broke it. He's older than me and everytime I hit him, he'd hit me back in my chest, which usually hurts. I told my parents and they just laughed. I laughed. My brother laughed. So, they told him to stop doing it five times and he still does. I can't steal it back since he goes places I can't with it. And if I did hit him I'd run for my life. He has a attitude problem and likes to take it out on me.
Dragon Fou Lu
i'll tell you what i told one of my friends in a similar situation, if he takes your stuff you take his. and if he hits you again for taking his stuff, and is still taking yours then take some of his stuff again and he'll figure out that hitting you isn't working. sorry, you don't have to follow my advice but that's what i'd do in that situation :(
Harry
According to Baldur's Gate II, you should dock everyone pay then they will deal with the thief themselves.
Lord Prozen
hmmmm...well you could just take his stuff. tell your parents to tell him to stop and if they dont then that really sucks. i think you should just take his stuff and break it if he keeps doing it to you. or hide your stuff, thats always a good idea. or kick him in the groin lol. but if your parents wont make him stop then yea that really sucks. Celia
Yeah, this had happen to me before. One of my mom's relative came over with her little girl, and after they left, I couldn't find some of the things that I usually see in sight. So then I ask my mom if we can go over to their house sometime. And when I went to their house the next week, I saw something really familiar in that girl's room. And I ask her where she got it, and she said her friend gave it to her... And I said I had something similar but I lost it after you came to my house. So she just said, "You can have it it you want, it's not impotant anyways." WOW! That's a long story... Well, just try and make them look embarassed in front of your parents.
future girl
when i was a lot younger my brother used to steal my savings. when i found out and told him something about it he tried to beat me up so i stabbed him with a butter knife. he never did it again. once they see how psychotic you can be they tend to leave you alone. -_-
wild thang
break the lock of his door. use a hammer. that way he cant lock stuff in his room. for everything of yours that he breaks, break something of his that he really likes. eithr that or videotape hip stealing your stuff and show it to your parents of blackmail him with it. hope that helps... satan665
Is it possible that this could be solved, and in a non-violent way with stinkbombs? Borrowing CD's will become sooooo not worth it if it results in a stink-bombing
Fyxe
I have the same problem with my brothers... I swear every time I leave my room, one of them goes in and takes something. Even when they ask and I say no, later I find it gone and it's in their room. But now I have a lock and key... and an alarm system. Hehehe, that keeps them away. I lock my room when I leave the house and take the key with me.. but when I'm at home I keep it open and let the alarm do the work. Lol.
Vegitto4
See if you can convince your parents to buy you a 2x4 from Home Depot or something. Then, while he's sleeping of course, quietly walk into his room, bash him repeatedly with the peice of wood, and then run like hell back to your little place of safety. Not everybody has one from an oldersibling(being the oldest, we tend to get into most places whenever we want), but there are some.
Spikey
There is one thing you can do. Learn how do use Kendo, then you can get a kendo bamboo sword and whenever he tries to steal something kill him. He'll learn. Eaither that or you could just try to reason with him. Though words never work...
klinanime1
I hear you can order nice swords off the net... Samurais and Katanas are too long for me, but you might like them. I'd go for a tachi or wakazashi. Just kidding. Kendo sounds good, though. Just don't tell him you're taking the classes, lol. If you can't do that, well I always pick fights with people older and bigger than me. *shrugs* Never bothered me to get in a few scraps I can't win.
