I have a friend who told me he was sleep walking one time and his dad woke up and found him walking around on the frount lawn..... so I was wondering if anyone here did. There was this kid who had a bad sleep walking problem, and one night he just woke up and started sprinting. He got really far, a couple miles I think, but then a truck ran over him, and he died instantly. I didn't really pay attention to the rest of the sleep walking stories, but they were trying to find out what causes it, but no one really knows. My friend also said that when his family was staying over at his grandparents house, that his brother had been sleep walking. He said they found him the next day in a corn field lol. I'm not sure if this is true, cause my friend tells me lies like that all the time, but it's definetly possible that it could have happened. I used to sleep walk a little, but not much. My mom said that one time she heard me screaming "BOMB! BOMB!" in my bedroom like at midnight one time, and when she came into check on me, I was sleep walking lol. And one time she says that I woke up in the middle of the night and started mumbling. And my dad sometimes has nightmares and makes this weird noise. Like a zombie laughing, but scared. Neoclone-7 Posted August 13, 2003 Share Posted August 13, 2003 Well, my parents tell me I sleep walk a lot, but I never believed them until a friend I was spending the night with, at his cabin says I got up walked down the stairs, and was halfway to the lake when he caught up. Course, that'll explain a little of why I wake up with cuts and scratches I didn't know I'd gotten. Zen Posted August 13, 2003 Share Posted August 13, 2003 i'm not a sleep walker, but i heard that my uncle had such a bad sleep walking problem, that he once had a dream he was an electrition and went onto the roof and tried to mess with the house's wiring. I also knew a guy once who had a bad sleep walking problem and he like was spending the night at his freinds house and pulled a knife on him. Freaky...*shutter*. I did it once at a friends house and once at my house, and every time I was in the bathtub.. IwakuraLain Posted August 13, 2003 Share Posted August 13, 2003 apparently i sleepwalk/talk a lot but i dont remember doing it. except this one time that i vaguely remember where i punched my sister in the face after she was holding my nose while i was sleeping- at first i only thought it had just been a wonderful dream! its sorta scary though cuz u dont have any control over ur body and you dont remember doing anything. And sometimes when I'm having a bad dream, I yell when I wake up. One time I said "NO!" real loud and my dad asked me what happend. Another time I said "My binders right here!" My moms all 'What?' But one time when my uncles and aunts were young, my uncle walked over to one of my aunts beds thinking that it was a toilet, he lifted up the mattress and then pee'd on my aunts face!!! I remember creeping past my sisters room and then my mom & dad's room, checking the clock, and jumping in the bed..i'm not sure if it was a dream or not. [b]Scenario 2:[/b] I was sleeping and (I was told all of this later) my mom was sleeping next to me because we were at our new house which had very few beds - so she was sleeping in my trundle bed in my room. So i suddenly sit up and tap her on the shoulder, not just a gentle tap, but like, urgent urgent urgent...and i didn't stop poking her till she woke up. Then i whispered, in this scared voice, "The Smurfs are whispering rhymes in my ear!" I kid you not. And then i repeated a rhyme. A RHYME!! I nearly fell down laughing when my mom told me the next morning.. [b]Scenario 3:[/b] I was sleeping (yet again) and this time, I was half asleep/awake. I got up and started walking down the hall, thinking about what I needed to tell my mom..it was something important, I remember. So i sit down on the edge of my parent's bed and start saying "I..um..I..uh.." and I couldn't get it out, and mom said "Hayley, I think you're asleep." and i was like "NO i'm not!" and was really angry about it..but I think i went back to sleep on the way back upstairs.. One time I was sleep walking into my parents bedroom and my dad suddenly woke up seeing me and freaked out and kicked me in the stomach. I couldnt sleep for the rest of night from the pain. Another time I had woken up with my head in the kitchen sink while cold water was running and I didnt wake up until my mom heard the water and woke me up. I got a cold from that. The last time I remember sleep walking was that I woke up with my head in my dog's house and my hair was wet and I had this strange taste in my mouth (Im pretty sure you know what the strange taste is). We know because he walked into our front room one night and ran into some wind chimes and yelled. My mom said "David?" and he said "What? Where am I?" So he went back to my room. I don't sleep walk but I do talk in my sleep all the time. Once I was assleep and I fell off the bed so my dad picked me up and put me back and I said "Thank you." I'm too tired to even sleep talk now. My mum always reminds me of one night I went sleep walking. I locked myself in the pantry, because I thought little green turkeys were chasing me. Then once I woke up in the bathtub, and another time in a closet... bleh. Weird huh? Lol, at the time it was pretty freaky, but now I think it is just funny. I think I'd know if I was on the wrong floor (in the girls bathrooms in his underwear). Oh *****! I AM that drunk!' as he had onbly had 4 units, he claims he had been sleepwalking.
