Mario and Luigi

I've been interested in this game for a while. You control both Mario and Luigi in a new Mario RPG game, and while you're walking around, you can press either the A or the B button, and depending on which one you press, Mario or Luigi will use their hammer (at least that's what I saw on a video of it).

The graphics look a lot like Paper Mario, which isn't a bad thing. I personally loved Paper Mario, and it was one of my fave N64 games (besides Mario 64 and Mystical Ninja). I was quite mad that you couldn't have Luigi in your party in that game ("Why can't that useless Goombario stay and watch the house!?") because ever since I was little, I've liked Luigi more than Mario (I don't know why, so don't ask.)

The plot sounds kind of different than the normal Mario game though. Instead of Bowser kidnapping the princess, Princess Peachs voice has been stolen, and replaced with (gasp!) expletives. Too bad this game will almost for certain be rated E. I wanna see Peach cuss Mario out lol.

If the game is anywhere near as good in quality as Paper Mario, I'll buy this game for sure. I'm not sure about this, but I heard it's coming out in December.

Comments? Thoghts? Rants? Post them here.

I'm really looking forward to Mario and Luigi because I seem to have hit a wall when it comes to getting good GBA games lately. I was also a big fan of Mario RPG and Paper Mario, but even if I wasn't, I'd still be interested in this game.

I'll probably give it a test rent when it finally comes out before I actually decide if I want to buy it, though.

Hmm I think I will look foward to it too. I haven't played a mario game in forever. I didn't like paper mario all that well but I did like Mario 64, that one was good. I also played a Mario with a huge amount of levels on the Snes, I don't remember the name,. That game was always pleasing.

But yes I think I will look for this game. From what I've heard I think it will be pretty good. Although I didn't like Paper Mario.

Well, if you didn't like Paper Mario, you probably won't like Mario & Luigi. It, like Paper Mario, is an RPG, not a platformer like most other Mario games. So liking other Mario games besides Super Mario RPG (SNES) and Paper Mario won't really matter, since Mario & Luigi is a different type of game.

Personally, though, I'm really looking forward to Mario & Luigi. I liked Paper Mario quite a bit, and Mario & Luigi looks to be even weirder than that. And while I haven't played Super Mario RPG, it's on my "To Play" list of SNES games, so maybe I'll find some time to play it before I get Mario & Luigi. I can't wait to see how they're going to use the duel control system thing, where you control both Mario and Luigi at the same time.

Super Mario RPG was alright, though I think I preferred Paper Mario. Paper Mario was less static...it just worked a lot better.

I'm definitely looking forward to this game. I buy nearly anything with Mario on the cover, depending on the game. I really enjoyed Paper Mario though...so, I expect to enjoy this title. Yet another GBA release that I want. X_X

I'm not a big RPG fan, so I'm still not quite sure about this title. Although I did enjoy Paper Mario. I've still yet to try Super Mario RPG, but it looks pretty cool. I can't say I'm exited about this game, but I'll probably pick it up. I have not played a decent GBA game since Fusion.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this game, I liked Paper Mario a lot, maybe it was those graphics but I'd say this has quite a bit of potential to be one of the best games on the Gameboy Advance.
