RPG The Mech Wars

[Squall]

[b]Field Log[/b]

Two days ago, ER recieved a distress signal from a small patallion on Luna. ER immediatly sent reinforcements on a large ship named Rising Sun. The Rising Sun is almost a mile wide, and two miles long. The crew has been aboard the rising sun for over two days. In that two days the security was breached by a group of LE spies. In their attempt to cut off reinforcements, they have killed almost all of the soldiers in their sleep. They're main target is the engine. Without it, the survivors will be doomed to drift in space for the rest of their lives. To make matters worse, LE mechs have been hidden in the supply depo and are now forcing their way through our barracades.

[i]Journal Log Entry[/i]

Everyone I know, is dead. Those monsters killed everyone in bunker 12, including both of my brothers, James and Marquise Solid. The last thing James said to me was "Thank god we're alive." I'm alive, but sould I really be thankful?

The battle for the Rising Sun raged on. Blood and derbis painted the walls as a deadly game of cat and mouse ensue in the dimly lit hangars.
A red mech followed by a gray mech and a light blue mech shot down a hallway. "Bad wake up call, eh?" The pilot of the gray mech radioed to his partners. "i'll say. The Glaicers gonna get one heck of a test drive." The light blue mech pilot replied. The red mech turned around, the booster's from it's feet keeping it hovering in the air. "Shut up and keep your eyes peeled. This isn't the time for-" A gunshot filled the air and the black glass visor on the red mech splattered with blood. "VIIIICK!"
"Damn! It's an ambush. Ray! Put your sheild up now!" The pilot clenched his eyes tight, and then reached for the wall and pulled out a joystick. The Glaicer (AKA the light blue mech) was surrounded by a purple barrier that immediately dissapeared. A large gun unfolded from the Glaciers back and readied itself in the galicers hand. "MONSTERS!!!"

[The (Sic) Shape]

In a destroyed city in Luna...

A lone light blue mech was hiding in a building, crouching. Inside of the mech was Clyde.

Clyde: Great. Im stuck here with Luna Enforcement mechs on my ***, seperated from the others who are as good as dead. Not only that, reinforcements should be here by now.

He began to push a few buttons and spoke into his speaker.

Clyde: Rising Sun, come in.

He heard nothing but static.

Clyde: Rising Sun, come in. Do you copy?

Nothing.

Clyde: This is bad, really bad. Cecilia's on that ship. I hope she's al-

He stopped as a blast destroyed the wall beside him.

Clyde: Damn! They found me!

Clyde forced his mech to get up, and prepared to take out who was attacking him...

[T man]

"I hate being on enemy ships" irvine thought as he went through the halls of the ship. He all ready had his shield infront of him and the blades on his arm were all ready out. "I espisaly don't like it because these hall ways are to small for my wings. I have to rely on my jet pack, the jets on the botom of my feet and the ones on my legs" irvine said turning a corner. "We have reported sightings of ER" a voice said over the comunication system.
"Jake did you kill any one" irvine said as he went to the location. "I killed one persion but the other two are shooting at me" He had the blades go back into the arm and pulled out a sniper rifel. He meet up with jake who was in a dark green mecha. "How many time do I have to tell you don't kill them. We're here to stop them not to kill them" irvine said shooting a grey mecha in it's arm. "Oh lighten up. Were in a war. It's our job to kill them" jake said fireing. "Well it may be your job to kill them but it's not mine. I'm trying not to kill'em because there have all ready been enough deaths on both sides" irvine said tring to shoot the grey mecha in the other arm.

[Jubei Yagyou]

"What the hell is going here!?" A man said while suddenly appearing behind a door in the hall.

"We are being attacked by enemy mechs Leutenint Shinomori sir, Shean was shot down sir."

"$h!t, you guys run I will take care of them."

"Yes sir!"

Akumatsu Shinomori has been in war as a child, remembering a scurmish like this that killed his father he wanted revenge. "Which one will die?" He looked over to the enemy and saw one that was scared, the other looked confident. ' I will teach him to be scared in war,' Akumatsu pulled out his cloak and had to holsters on each forearm.

"What do you think he is doing?" The scared one said

"I don't know but be on your toes, he may be a footman but I can tell he is expierienced."

"Die!!!" Akumatsu pulled out his right and made a fist at the scared mech, And a large blue laser went straight into the scared mech pilots head. After pulling the laser back into the holster Akumatsu ran away.

"JAKE!!!"

[T man]

Irvine looked at the wreked mecha next to him. "That's a reasion why I choose to have one with the cockpit in the chest" irvine thought. He check the wrecked mecha and took the weapons. "I guess he had it comeing to him though for killing some one. The people I get stuck with" irvine thought as he pulled up the scimatics of the ship.
It semed like he would have to go down the hallway the other mecha went because the one he was plaing to go down was blocked. He started moveing away from the enemy mecha and left down the hallway the other mecha came. "Now where did he go" irvine asked him self as he turned on the beam sabore and redead his sheild. He turned on the jets under the feet and on the legs then hovered down the hallway.

[Squall]

"Try this on for size!" Wheels sprout out of the bottom of the glacier's feet. The wheels turned up smoke and the glacier took off like a rocket. The enemy mech sprouted blades out of it's wrists and readied itself for the attack. Glaicer shot a round of beams and the rifle folded onto it's back. The gatteling gun was dropped to the side as the Glaicer grabbed the enemy mech's wrists and pushed them to the celing. "Koji! Get to the engine room SAP!"
"What about-"

"I can handle this! We're all dead if the engine fails, GO!"

The gray mech hesitantly followed directions and shot down the hall. The Glaicer was left at a standstill with the enemy mech. They both pushed back and drew their rifles. "Your pretty decent." Ray commented as he opened fired. "Too bad we couldn't meet under better circumstances." He chuckled to himself.

OOC: Why did you say he is fine? I said It went straight threw his head, and you said it only hit his cameras, I think you should edit it back so I killed him.

[Little Serenity]

Tazo groaned and rolled over, her right upper arm smarting seriously. She looked around the pitch black room.

"Where am I? Oh right... I'm on the Rising Sun in... Bunker 12? Yeah, that's right. What happened...?" She felt something wet on her upper arm and side. "I've... been shot?" She stood up and tripped over something. She cried out in pain. Her leg was also hit.

"What is this?!" She felt around and finally found her flashlight. She clicked it on. Her scream echoed throughout the bunker. Everyone that she had been with in Bunker 12 was lying on the ground dead. She dropped the flashlight and bolted out of the door, tripping on her military jumpsuit. She turned a corner.

"Too bad we couldn't meet under better circumstances." A few shots were fired. Tazo hit the deck and crawled across the hall. "What?!! A girl?!! Someone's still alive on this tin can?" The gray mech charged again and Ray was distracted. Tazo kept crawling along.

"I gotta... get... to Hinoto..." She was finding it rather difficult to breathe and her legs felt numb. "Where are you... old man... when I need you?"

[T man]

"Sorry but i'm not going down so easily" irvine said pulling up his shield. He opened the caseing on his gatling guns and fired. The enemy mecha moved. "Sorry but I have some where to go" irvine said as he dimmed the screen and fired a flare. He flew past the enemy mecha as the flar lit up the hallway. The top part of his arm came up and he fired but the enemy mecha moved. He herd a shot go past his head as he went down the hallway. "As soon as I stop the engine i'm geting out of here" irvine thought as he started the rockets on his back and flew down the hall faster. "That enemy mecha all ready has a head start so I need to catch up" irvine thought as he turned a corner. "I'm probaply the last lunar enforcer on the ship" irvine thought as he came closer to the engine.

[Jubei Yagyou]

After hiding for a few minutes Akumatsu came out from where he was. He looked over to see a flare, he put on his goggles and went over to bunker 12 and saw a girl crawling on the ground.

"Hey!" he whispered, " We gotta go to the engine."

"What?"

"Can you fix an engine?"

[Squall]

Ray blindly searched the room for the enemy mech. He could barely make out the outlines of two figures. "HOLD IT!" He rubbed his eyes. "LE? State your names and Factions!"
"We are not your enemy. We need to get to the engine room." Ray could see more clearly, but still blurred. "I was heading there before I got attacked..... Allright. I'll give you a ride" The glaicer outstreched it's hand. "Climb onto the back and hold on tight." The girl turned away. "I need to get to Hinoto." Ray looked confused. "You'd have better luck surviving in space. The hanger's a warfield."

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde's mech rushed through the ruins of the destroyed city as several mechs pursued him.

Clyde: [i]Damn it! I cant lose them![/i]

Clyde quickly turned himself around and activated his railgun. He fired, a jolt of lightning flying toward the mechs, destroying them in an instant. He hid into another building and tried to contact Rising Sun again.

Clyde: Rising Sun, come in, damn it!

Once again, nothing.

Clyde: What the hell is going on up there?

[T man]

Irvine came flying into the engine room. He looked around and saw the grey mecha infront of him. "Stand aside. I need to do my mision but I want to do it with out killing some one" irvine said pulling out his beam saobre. "Sorry but i'm doing my job to" the other pilote said. Irvine lowered his sheild anf fired with his gatling guns. He broke off the left arm and damadged the right arm. He then fired up the rockets on the legs along with the ones under the feet and jumped over the grey mecha.
He slashed the engine with the beam sabore as two other mechas came in. "The engine isn't to much damdged so you can still fix it but it'll take you a couple of hours and by then we'll find your friends. I sugest your friend get inside the cockpit" irvine said aiming the beam sabor at the floor. As the enemy cockpit opened and the woman got in irvine started cutting a hole in the ship. As he left through the hole the enemy mechas started fireing. "Irvine we have a report of a earth rebelion mecha. Your the closest one so we need you to get it" a voice said over the comunication system once irvine was through the hole. Irvine opened his wings and flew to the location as he was being shot at.

[color=green]A green mech slowly walked through the dark, ill lit corridors. Sparks flew from a nearby power condiut that had been blown open The pilot, James Forrest, looked around, his HUD brightly lit.
"Where the hell are you damn rebels?" he muttered.
He had been searching the ship for awhile and had found nothing He had heard distance sounds of fighting, but had found nothing.
Suddenly, he heard something up ahead. Emerging into a room, he saw two mechs, and a person riding on top of one. He switched on his external speakers.
"Identify yourselves, or be destroyed!"
He started to cycle the autocannons, the low whine building.[/color]

I'm confused, how did we get to the hangar so fast? I guess to move the story along... PS Orien, have you played Robotron Battlecry? Thats the only place i've ever heard HUD used

Ray wanted to go after Ivrene, but his mech wasn't equipped for space fights. Plus, he didn't think Atumatsu would like the cold of space. A screen appeared in the top left corner of his cockpit, showing a transmission. "Identify yourselves or be destroyed!"
"Ray Solid, ER Mechanoid Pilot. Bunker 12. Who are you?" The mech raised it's weapon. "LE." Ray growled and fired his gattling gun. The Glaicer wheeled itself behind some derbis. His radio crackled, he could barely make out what he was listening to. "Risi-- sun com- in dam- -t!" Ray hit a button and tried to respond. "This is Rising Sun! We need backup!"
"Yo- ne-d back-p? Y-u ar-e b-ckup!"
"Bad day, isn't it?" at that time the transition died out. The glaicer peeked over the top of the derbis and shot at the enemy mech. Something about the mech caught his eye, but he couldn't place it.

OOC:HUD stands for Heads Up Display. basically gives me target info, etc. without me having to look at the control panel and getting shot. It's on the inside, not outside, so don't worry about it.

"Die you rebel scum!" James screamed as his autocannons blazed, sending deadly projectiles at the enemy mechs.

TARGET LOCK ACHEIVED blinked on his HUD, and he squeezed the firing button, sending two missles after the blue mech.

He dodged back behind cover and waited, hoping for an explosion.[/color]

[Jubei Yagyou]

"Let me handle this one." Akumatsu said to the radio while The glacier was dodging the missiles,

"You will be killed!"

"I got it, just go fix the engine and I will hold him off. GO!"

The mech dashed away while Akumatsu put on his goggles, "Now, If you attack you will never be able to use your mech again."

"You seem so confident, what is your name?"

"Akumatsu Shinomori, pleasure to meet you." Akumatsu pulled a shotgun type object and shot it at the mech, it shook with the 100,000 volts it was delt and malfunctioned. "Thats my que, thank you and goodbye."

Hey, I'll be gone for a week and a half. Horrid timing, isn't it?

[B]Clyde[/B]: You need backup? You are backup!

The transmission was then cut off.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Great, just great.

Suddenly, he heard a loud explosion nearby. Clyde tilted his mech's head to see several planes and helicopters in the air, circling around the city.

[B]Clyde[/B]: This is bad. Now LE has air support. This is bad, really, REALLY bad.

He then heard a beeping sound and Clyde looked at his monitor.

[B]Clyde[/B]: And on top of that, my mech is running out of fuel! I got to get out of here now.

He pushed a few buttons and a small map appeared on his monitor.

[B]Clyde[/B]: There's a cave two miles northeast from here. I should be able to hide there. Now how to escape.

He searced through his mech to find several remote controlled explosives.

[B]Clyde[/B]: This will do.

He exited his mech, walking in front of windows, throwing the explosives at each building around him and one on a wall in front of his mech. Clyde then re-entered his mech, a remote in his hand.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Hope this works.

He pushed the button, and several explosions were heard, including the explosive in front of him. During the confusion Clyde had used his mech's jet boosters and blasted out of the city while the buildings crumbled...

[Little Serenity]

Tazo, abandoned by Akamatsu, continued her way along the hall, trying to avoid the sound of gunfire and mechs coming down the hall.

"Alright... I'll just... get to the... en-engine room... and then get to my mech Hinoto. Simple, right?" She opened the laundry chute and started to skid down it. About halfway, she stopped herself, her legs screaming out in pain. She climbed through a vent and through several twisted passageways. It was totally dark. Finally, Tazo managed to find her way to the vent she was looking for. She dropped to the cement ground, spilling blood on the floor. She pulled a flashlight from her toolbelt and began searching for the problem.

"Akamatsu... why did you think that I could fix engines?" She groaned. Tazo wasn't a whiz at fixing things, but she managed. "Ack, the fuel line's been cut in several places... this part seems heavily damaged... I'll have to find two more cylinders..." Rumaging around in the spare-part closet, Tazo found what she was looking for. She set to work and suprising even herself, she managed to fix the engine without interruption.

"Just one more pass around this hose with duct tape and... there!" Tazo pulled a few switches and the room filled with light. "Score. Now, I need to get to Hinoto..."

"HEY YOU!!" Tazo whirled around. An orange mech stood in the doorway to the engine room. "What are you doing here?!!"

Tazo pulled out her firearm, "Who are you with?! Me or them?!"

"I'm in the Luna Enforcement. Why did you start up the engine?!" The pilot then noticed that Tazo had an ER tag on her orange jumpsuit. "You're with the Earth scum!"

"Just back off! Leave the engine alone! I managed to fix it, so get lost!"

"You were in Bunker 12 weren't you?!"

"What of it!"

"I personally saw that everyone in that Bunker would never see the light of day again!"

"You missed one!!" Tazo backed into the engine.

"Are you willing to give your life for that hunk of scrap?"

"It's more than that! If I die here, then so be it! But-" Tazo pulled out a radio communicator. "Everyone will know you're here. Earth Rebellion this is Mechanoid Pilot Tazo of Hinoto. I have just fixed the engine and am being threatened by the LE. Do not come unless gunfire is heard, repeat, do not come unless gunfire is heard."

"Why you-!!"

"You wanna fire a shot? I'm sure that everyone that pilots an ER mech will be happy to welcome you to the Rising Sun."

"Rebel scum..." Tazo laughed at the pilot's pathetic insult. He raised his rifle, "I can take on a million of you!" Tazo hit the Transmit button, "DIE." The pilot open fired. Tazo felt herself get hit in the leg and shoulder. She slumped down against the engine.

"Missed."

[Jubei Yagyou]

"Damn I gotta get her out of this." Akumatsu was now running down the stairs to the engine deck, he was running fast until he heard an emergency transmission, "Hel---eed ba-----captin in tr------goi----cra---mile aw---desti-----*STATIC*"

"We are going to crash! I got to get that girl from bunker 12!" after running for awhile he heard another emergency transmission, "*Whispers* they got me hostage in the captains room. They took all of the food and supplies.*Gruff voice* What are you transmitting now!"

'That was Tazo! I get it now, they want us to crash into the island with nothing to live on.'

Once Akumatsu got into the Captains deck, he went into the captains main room and Shot the orange mech and picked up Tazo, "We gotta get to hinoto and escape!"

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde stopped inside the cave, the fuel barely out.

Clyde: I hope the Rising Sun is alright and they pick me up soon.

Suddenly, he heard a beeping sound.

Clyde: What the? Something big is coming torward me.

He jumped out of his mech, a scope in his hands. Clyde walked out of the cave and looked through the scope. He looked up, and saw a weird star. Clyde zoomed in, seeing that it wasnt a star, but the Rising Sun!

Clyde: What the hell is going on!?

He remained looking through his scope, seeing mechs leaving the ship. He saw the LE insignia on the mechs.

Clyde: I gotta get on that ship! I just hope I have the fuel to get up there.

He ran to his mech and got in. He piloted his mech out of the cave and hit the boosters to fly up. On his way up his mech kept beeping becuase of the low fuel warning. In minutes he had come close to the Rising Sun, which was flying down at an incredible speed. Clyde used his mech's sword to cut open a hole to get in...

[Orien_Xel]

[color=green]James was fiddling with his mech, cursing under his breath. That punk had nailed him with an electric shock, but luckily, he could fix it. He crossed a few wires. Nothing.
He sighed. This could take awhile. And the damned rebels were escaping! He said a silent prayer and crossed two more wires. There was a faint whine, and the mech started to power up.
"Yes!"
James brought his systems online, and began scanning. He was going to find them and destroy their pathetic mechs.[/color]

[T man]

Irvine landed on the ground in the distroyed town as two LE mechas came hovering up to him. "Sir the enemy mecha has all ready left the area. Explosives were set off as a distraction" the pilote of the green mecha said. "We also have reports of the ER ship comeing down and it seems like it's going to crash" the pilote of the silver mech said.
"Are there any more LE's up there" irvine asked. "Yes there are still some mechas and some soilders. It seems like some one aimed the ship to crash" the pilote of the green mecha said. "What are they doing up there. Can you two fly" irvine asked as he opened his wings. Yes sir and we have all our weapons and the're loaded" the silver mecha said as they lifted of the ground. "Then come on then. Try not to kill any one and don't call me sir, just call me irvine" irvine said as they flew to the rising sun.
