RPG The Mech Wars

[color=teal][b]OOC: Hey all! Sorry for the hold up. But I'm finally here....*waves green and gold flag* Yay...

"Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot!" Cecilia yelled as she moved her mech down the hallway. She used one hand to type something into Escape's system panel while keeping the other on it's manuvering system. "I knew something like this would happen!"

She heard explosions and gunshots from Bunker 12 while she had been down in the hanger, finishing up repairs on Escape. She reached the bunker and gasped in horror. Everyone was dead. Nothing moved. No sounds. Nothing. But everywhere there was bodies. Blood spattered the walls. Cecilia's eyes were as wide as saucers. She whispered, "No...No! Those cruel monsters! How could they? No..."

She felt tears welling up. She tore her eyes from the scene. Suddenly a screen popped up in the corner of her cockpit.

"Valentine! Are you there?" It was Akamatsu on his personal radio.

"Akamatsu? Thank the Lord! Where are you?" she replied hurriedly.

"I'm headed the heck outta here! The engine's been disrupted and we're headed down. We need to get out of here! They're planning to strand us with no provisions. We tried our best to stop them, but they got there first. I'm headed towards the mechas with Tazo. Will I see you there?"

"You can count on it." Cecilia answered. She took one last sad look at the men and women before her. [i]Rest in peace...[/i] Then she turned and left to find Akamatsu.[/color][/b]

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde entered the ship, to see that he was in the Mech Cargo Holds.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Why are the mechs still here? They should be activated by now. Did something happen to the pilots?

He scanned the mechs seeing that two of them were gone, Escape and Glacier.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Hope Ray and Cecilia are alright.

He got out of his mech and started to search for fuel in a cargo box. He quickly found some and placed it into his mech. Once he jumped in he typed in something and spoke into his speaker.

[B]Clyde[/B]: If anyone is hearing this, please respond.

[B]????[/B]: Clyde?

[B]Clyde[/B]: Cecilia! Thank god you're alright. Where are you?

[B]Cecilia[/B]: Im heading to the mech holds where Ill meet up with Tazo and Akamatsu. Where are you?

[B]Clyde[/B]: Im where you're going to. Ill be waiting for you three. Where's Ray? His mech's gone.

[B]Cecilia[/B]: Im not sure, but he should be heading your way.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Alright.

Suddenly, a missle barely hit him. He stopped to see a mech in front of him. It was a LE mech (Im talking about you, Orien_Xel).

[B]????[/B]: Die!

The mech fired another missle, but Clyde was ready this time, he fired his rail gun, stopping the missle.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Who are you?

[B]????[/B]: You dont need to know, scum.

[Orien_Xel]

[color=green]James laughed. This pilot was pathetic. It would be too easy to kill him. He cycled up is autocannons, and fired, autocannone shells whizzing theough the air. Several explosions rocked the area around Clyde's mech. James fired another missle, and sidestpped, taking cover behind a large metal fire door.[/color]

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde quickly dodged several bullets but some still hit him but it didnt do any serious damage. Clyde fired his railgun again, stopping the missle. He then quickly boosted his way to the door James was hiding and slashed it in half, only James wasnt behind it.

*CLICK*

Clyde moved the mech's head to see an autocannon in front of him. He quickly grabbed it with his hand and moved it out of the way and moved his blade toward James only to be grabbed by the mech's hand. They stared down for several seconds until...

????: Clyde!

It was Cecilia, followed by Tazo and Akamatsu. Suddenly, James let go.

Clyde: What are you doing?

James: I should get going. This ship will crash any minute. We'll me again.

James blasted a hole above him and flew out...

[T man]

"Now let's see what we can find" irvine said as he came to a opening of the rising sun. The other two mechs followed him in. "Go through the ship and evacuate any one still alive even if they're ER's" irvine said activating his rockets. "But wont you get in trouble for saveing the enemy" the pilote of the green mecha said. "I realy don't care about that. Just go around and get people off the ship then leave then alone once they're safe. Try not to get into any fights and see if you can find the persion who gave the orders to crash the ship. Bail out if there's no time left" irvine said as he flew off through the halls to find the people still on the ship..

[Jubei Yagyou]

"Clyde we are here!" said Akumatsu, Clyde turned around to see Tazo and Cecilia in their mechs while Akumatsu was running.

"Where is your mech Akumatsu?" asked Clyde

"I dont have one, I am an expierienced fighter. Not a pilot."

Clyde shook his head and answered, "We better get out of here, do any of you know a way out?"

[Squall]

Hey, I'm not back yet, per say. I can't post anything cause i'm at a in. cafe in canada (hoser land) Anyways, I thought I'd tell you just in case anybody had any questions.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Do any of you know a way out?

[B]Cecilia[/B]: We cant leave yet, Ray isnt here.

[B]Akumatsu[/B]: Well, we cant just sit and wait.

Suddenly, they heard a mech walking toward them. It was the Glacier mech.

[B]Tazo[/B]: Ray! Where've you been?

[B]Ray[/B]: Sorry, Ive been help up back at the engine room, now lets get out of here.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Well, we dont have time for a proper exit.

He remember the hole that James blasted through.

[B]Clyde[/B]: We can get out through up there! Lets go!

Quickly, each mech flew out, Akumatsu in Ray's hand, and remained floating in the air as they watched the Rising Sun was about to come crashing down into an already destroyed city...

[T man]

"All reamaining LE's it's time to bail out. If you have a mecha or found one that's still working use it and leave. If you have any still liveing ER's let them go when you land" irvine said as the green and silver mecha's from before came up to him. Irvine all ready had some people with him and looked at the mecha's and saw people riding on top of them. "We found all the people we could that were still alive" the pilote of the green mecha said. "Good then. Let's go" irvine said as they flew down the hallway. Irvine saw some ER's leaving. "We'll leave these people with them then leave them alone. We will not fight them. Is that understood" irvine said as they left the ship. "Yes irvine we under stand" the pilote of the sivlver mecha said as they got closer to the ER's mecha's. "We are not here to fight you. We are just leaving these people here and nothing more" irvine said once they landed waiting for a answer.

[The (Sic) Shape]

Everyone was surprised to see that LE was helping them. Everyone, except Clyde, didnt really believe them.

[B]Ray[/B]: Why should we trust you?

[B]Irvine[/B]: We just rescued the survivors and are handing them over to you. Isnt that proof?

[B]Clyde[/B]: Normally, we would accept, but we're stranded here. We cant do anything to help them.

[B]Irvine[/B]: Fine. I'll see if I can send a ship.

As the LE mechs were leaving, Cecilia stopped them.

[B]Cecilia[/B]: Why are you helping us?

[B]Irvine[/B]: The war has gone on for too long. I just want this all to stop.

The LE Mechs left. Everyone exited their mechs. As they waited for the ship Clyde asked something,

[B]Clyde[/B]: So what exactly happened on the Rising Sun?

[B]Akumatsu[/B]: LE spies infiltrated the ship and killed almost everyone in Bunker 12.

[B]Tazo[/B]: We then had to get over to the engine or else we would all die.

[B]Ray[/B]: But it only slowed the ship down and we had to escape. So what happened to you?

Before Clyde could answer they heard a ship coming above them. The ship was a small passenger ship with a small Mech Cargo Room. A pilot walked out.

[B]Pilot[/B]: Here you go. A ship given to ER under the orders of Officer Irvine Kiro. So do any of you know how do pilot a ship like this?

[B]Clyde[/B]: I'll do it.

[B]Pilot[/B]: Alright. See ya.

The survivors quickly got in, and everyone put their mechs in the Cargo Holds.

[B]Clyde[/B]: Well, let's go home.

[Jubei Yagyou]

Akumatsu: Wait!

Clyde: What is it?

Akumatsu: Going home doesnt complete our mission, and if we go to our destination we will get killed on our way there.

Ray: But isnt that Irvine guy covering us?

Akumatsu: Its not like he is the general, what if the commander of the LE decided he wanted to finish us off.

Clyde: Then what should we do?

Akumatsu looked around the island ((Thats cool with you guys that its an island right?)) and climbed up a coconut tree.

Tazo: This guy is crazy.

Once Akumatsu rocked the coconut tree and all the coconuts fell he said,

Akumatsu: I think we should hide and wait for re-enforcements.

[The (Sic) Shape]

[B]Clyde[/B]: Wait for renforcements? You were renforcements! HQ doesnt even know that the ship has crashed and that for all they know the ship is still stuck in space. And besides, our mechs cant send a transmission of that range! Thats why Ive been trying to contact you guys all that time.

[B]Cecilia[/B]: But cant we use this ship to send a transmission?

[B]Ray[/B]: We could, but it'll take awhile to set the radio to HQ's freqency.

[B]Akumatsu[/B]: And can any of us do that?

[B]Tazo[/B]: I could take a shot at it.

Tazo ented the cockpit and began crossing wires to trace the frequency of HQ.

[B]Clyde[/B]: While Tazo is doing that, two of us should go to ruins of the Rising Sun and salvage the ship for food and supplies while the other two of us could set of surveillance around the area. Ill go and salvage the ship, who wants to come with me?

[color=teal][b]"I'll go with you Clyde. I need to uh...Talk to you about something." Cecilia replied with a nervous look on her face. He nodded and turned towards the ship. She followed him into the ruins of the Rising Sun and began the salvage. Cecilia turned to her older brother and said, "Clyde?"

"Hmmm?" he replied, not looking up from the crate he was searching.

"Clyde, how can that Irvine guy be so nice? I mean, he's an LE soldier after all. Especially after Bunker 12..." the raven-haired girl asked. Scenes of the destruction at Bunker 12 flashed before her.

"Just because a person belongs to a certain group like the LE, doesn't mean they're really bad. He just want's this to be over. I mean, wouldn't you if you were that young? He's just a kid." Clyde replied.

"I guess...Oh! I found something!" Cecilia smiled as she held up a crate with boxes of instant curry in it.

"How're we going to cook it, genious?" Clyde asked with a smirk.

"You know, Mom and Dad didn't send me to survival camp for nothing." Cecilia replied with a hint of victory in her voice.

OOC: Two notes. First, I hope I didn't offend you, Tman, when I called Irvine a kid. ^-^ He is 14 after all. And second of all, the instant curry referance is thanks to too much FLCL. LOL. [/color][/b]

Akumatsu: Curry?! I would rather have coconuts.

Said Akumatsu while he sat down cross legged and broke open the coconut with his head.

Ray: Come on Akumatsu, it might be weeks before we get some food.

Akumatsu spat on the ground and said,

Akumatsu: Fe, I've been in many scenario's like this, I'm fine.

Akumatsu looked funny then put his hand over his stomache and it growled. Everyone laughed,

Clyde: Oh, you can handle it, eh?

Ray: Jeez man, just because you dont like curry doesnt mean you can starve yourself.

Akumatsu smirked,

Akumatsu: You see the date on that curry? Its overdue by a month and a fourth!

Clyde looked at the curry and banged his head on the plane...

[Squall]

Ray: We'll have to make do.

He took a bite of the month old curry, and immediately covered his mouth to keep it from coming back out.

Ray: O-okay. It's not th-that bad. *takes another bite.* But Clyde, there's something I need to ask you.

Clyde: What?

Ray: Are you THE Clyde Valentine? The pilot of Hope? (I don't have time to check that, running out of quarters.)

Clyde: The one and the same.

Ray: Clyde, the Hope is a legend. How can you be so casual about it?

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde took a bite of the curry, and quickly swallowed.

Clyde: I know Hope was some legend but after 25 years I wasnt expecting this mech to still be a big deal.

Ray: But I heard it was the key to winning the war.

Clyde: It was, but not until LE started to make mechs. Now Hope's only real purpose is to take out LE's legendary mech: Virtue. But if it wasnt for Hope I probably would be dead by now.

He took another bite of the curry, only to almost spit out.

Clyde: If the curry doesnt kill me first.

[color=teal][b]Cecilia poked her curry with a small twig she had found. She frowned and said, "I almost regret ever finding this junk...Well, at least it's food. Bon apetite!"

She had decided after a small mental argument that she would just quickly down her bowl of curry. She quickly ate it all, hoping the taste wouldn't be so bad. She was wrong. She clapped a hand over her mouth and ran behind a bush. She threw it all up and was left with a quesy feeling in her stomach.

She walked back to the group and sat down. She glared at the ground and said, "Don't say a word."

She could tell her brother was holding back a laugh. She shot a dark look at him and looked at her feet. She got back up and said, "I'm going to check on Tazo. If you need me. I'll be with her."

Cecilia once again left the group. She entered the cockpit and found Tazo still crossing wires.

"Hey Tazo." she greeted. Tazo looked up and said, "Oh, hi-What's your name again?"

"Cecilia Valentine." Cecilia smiled and extended her hand towards the other girl. Tazo shook it politely and went back to work.

"Tazo?" Cecilia said.

"Hmmm?" she replied.

"A few words of advice: Don't eat the curry." With that, she left the cockpit chuckling to her self.[/color][/b]

[Squall]

Ray sighed and went back to his curry. He had heard about the hope, the first and only mech to not be weighed down with ICC laws. He guessed he was expecting a little much, but... *gags on another bite of curry.*

Ray: Forget what I said.

Clyde: Well, the hope is-

Ray: No, not that. About making due with this curry.

He stood up and walked towards his mech. "I got a few dozen cans of fruit in emergency stash." The cockpit folded open and he climbed inside. He returned with a huge dark green pack and pulled out a few cans. Clyde looked down at the rest of his curry. He could feel some of it on the edge of coming back up.

Clyde: You could have mentioned that before, you know.

Ray: Shut up and be thankful. Anyways, when you called for backup, what was the scenario? I heard it was a support mission of some sort. Some pilots may still need assistance.

Clyde caught one of the cans and popped it open. He looked to the sky and thought about the mission.

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde thought back on his mission.

[i]The objective was to rendezvous with a group of soldiers on this island to find a general that was in the city, The soldiers were to infiltrate the city while the mechs were to circle around the city, taking out any LE units. But when we heard that the soldiers had found the general the transmisson was cut and they were killed. An LE spy was disguised as one of the soldiers and quickly killed them and the information stating that a general was here was false. LE mechs quickly ambushed us and we were quickly seperated. We had sent a distress call and fought them off for two days, the city quickly becoming a wasteland.[/i]

Clyde: Yeah it was a support mission but it was all a trap to eliminate the some of the best Mech pilots and soldiers ER had. But for all I know they could still be alive in the city.

Ray: Well shouldnt we go find them? Im pretty sure that LE has left the Island thanks to that Irvine guy.

Clyde: Why not?

[Jubei Yagyou]

Akumatsu: The strong survive and the weak perish.

Akumatsu muttered as he was biting the coconut.

Clyde: We are going to save them.

Akumatsu: If you think about it, if that Irvine guy was following his own theory he would tell the guys that was here earlier to shut up and not to tell anyone.

Clyde stared into the sky.

Ray: Hey I dont like akward moments, Akumatsu here is some fruit, that coconut must be wierd tasting.

Akumatsu: In my country we love coconut.

Clyde: Where are you from?

Akumatsu glared into Clyde and Ray's eyes and gritted,

Akumatsu: Vietnam.

Ray stared into the ground and said,

Ray: If your from Vietnam, why do you have a japanese name?

Akumatsu: Long story to this, wanna hear it?

Clyde nodded yes,

Akumatsu: Well, you know when Vietnam was scarce in resources because of the war. So Vietnam went into the hands of Japan, and with modern technology, Vietnam was moved to Japan.

Ray nodded and asked,

Ray: Then whats with the name?

Akumatsu: My parents were killed and a skilled warrior took me in.

[Squall]

Ray never liked thinking about the past, it always seemed "like a waste of future" so he tried to change the subject

Ray: Well, we're a few miles away from the last sos signal, so we should get a move on.

He rushed to his mech's cockpit and pulled out a small labtop. "Judjing by are location, we should be able to make it to the cosmat station, just a half a mile off course. From there we can call for a pickup and maybe (more) backup." Akumatsu looked on the verge of glaring at him, but nodded instead.

Akumatsu: Right. I'll inform Tazo and Cecilia

[Jubei Yagyou]

"Tazo, Cecilia," Cecilia and Tazo looked over to see Akumatsu, "We are going to the cosmet station one mile off course. Get ready to leave."

After informing Tazo and Cecilia, Akumatsu packed his things in a large metal box. Clyde walked over and looked at the large box and said,

"How will you carry that box?"

Akumatsu looked over his shoulder and replied, "Press that green button." Akumatsu pointed at a green button on the other side of the box. Clyde pressed it and the box shrunk to a hand held cube, the green button now red. Clyde stared at Akumatsu and said...

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde: What the hell just happened?

Akumatsu: Its a compressor. Dont you use them?

Clyde: Not really. I dont have alot of things. I just carry weapons in my mech.

Akumatsu: Weapons? Why weapons?

Clyde: In case I need to use them if my mech cannot attack. In fact if I wasnt carrying any explosives with me I wouldnt have been able to escape.

Clyde picked up the small cube and lightly tossed it at Akumatsu.

Clyde: Lets go.

Ray, Clyde, and Akumatsu entered the ship where Tazo and Cecilia were waiting.

[Little Serenity]

Tazo sighed, watching Hinoto being loaded onto the ship. "I'm lucky I didn't electrocute myself crossing all those wires... I'm no electrician..."

"Curry?" Ray asked. She and Cecila(sp?) exchanged a knowing look.

She chuckled. "I'll pass."

"You're gonna need it."

"You're just trying to pass that stuff off to me, aren'tcha?" Ray looked at the package, then shrugged, smiling. He went to sit down for take off. Tazo sat in her chair and relaxed.

[i]Tazo...[/i] an old voice rang in her head, [i]Have you forgotten me?[/i] Suddenly, the entire ship was gone. Tazo was floating in complete blackness. Suddenly, Akamatsu appeared slowly, turning to her. Then Ray, Clyde, and Cecila. They looked at her with mild interest, but then in horror. Slashes erupted on their bodies and they fell to the ground. The entire blackness was filled with red and a demented chanting. [i]They're dead... they're dead... because of you... you... you...[/i] Tazo's body was overheating, and she was covered in blood. It was running all down her hands and up her arms. She screamed.

"Tazo! What is it?!" Cecila asked, looking horrified. The ship was back. She was in her seat. No blood, no dead comrades on the ground. Nothing.

"It's... nothing... at all."

[Squall]

Ray: Hey, wait a minute. Didn't you say you were in bunker 12?

Tazo nodded, her eyes dropping to the ground when she remembered the sight of the dead bodies. Ray looked confused. "Where were you when they attacked?"

Tazo: I was in the bunker.

Ray: That can't be right. Think back.

Tazo shook her head. "I was in the bunker. Is there something wrong with that?" Ray's face continued to grow with confusion. "You must have been sleeping in a bucket of snow. They swept the room with IR goggles. Either your an Ice queen, or..." It was clear what Ray was saying, but Tazo just shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I have no idea." Ray grumbled and sat back in his seat for a moment. The engines woke up and started to roar. Ray shook his head and walked to the back.

Clyde: Where are you going?

Ray: Standard protocol. Secure the perimeter and eliminate all ground threats. Sides, I hate big ships.
