GuyYouMetOnline
I found out about this movie two days ago, and it looks absolutely hillarious. I've watched the trailer on Apple.com so many times I've practically memorized it, and I still can't stop laughing. This time around, the plot is a rip-off of The Ring and Signs. There's a videotape, and if you watch it, someone calls and tells you, in a creepy voice, that you'll die in seven days. Meanwhile, a mysterious crop circle(crop square, actually) has appeared in farmer Tom Logan's cornfeild(It has an arrow pointing to the house and "Attack here" under the arrow, which isn't very mysterious if you ask me). Add in a white rapper("I have a dream." "What is your dream?" "To have a dream."), a really paranoid President("You'll never take me alive!"),and a black couple, the male of it introducing himself as Morpheus("What are you still doing here?" "Please, Laquisha. I'm prophisizing." "Well, I'm prophisizing my foot halfway up your a**."), and you have, in my opinion, what promises to be one of the funniest movies of the year. Hybrid
I had no idea they were making another Scary Movie, you've got me exited now, I loved the previous two. I hope they do a good job with this, like they did with Scary Movie 2 (which was better then the first in my opinion), do you know when a possible release date will be? GuyYouMetOnline
Release date is October 3. I'm looking forward to it. This one looks to be the best of the three. If you want to, you can view the trailer at www.apple.com/trailers
Sniglefager
I was watching Celebrity Justice last night, and on the trailer, didn't they have a Michael Jackson-lookalike? They showed part of it, and I was laughing really hard. "I swear, I didn't touch the children!" lol. I'm just about to view the rest of the trailer. Can't wait till October 3rd now. Ryan
Yes, the first 2 were funny, but I think they are over doing it here. I don't think they should have made a third one. I expect it to be stupid and then ruin the first two. Hopefully not.
SadClown
^^ Acctually, from what I read, this one isn't being done by the Wayans Brothers, which is a good thing in my opinion. Instead, it's being directed by the guy who did "Airplane!". In my opinion, the second movie was horrible. It was really short and didn't parady anything that well. I think the Wayan's Brother's forgot that you still have to have a plot, even if you are making fun of something.
Semjaza
The second movie is one of the worst things I've ever seen. I might have found it funny if I was twelve, but at this point it was just too moronic for me to even laugh at its stupidity. The Scary Movie films are almost as bad as Scream ones. I hate that series.
Gohan Egret
I enjoyed the first "Scary Movie," namely because it was the first parody (in my recollection) of a very popular movie (Scream 1 & 2) in the past 10 years. It was sort of like taking the text of a videogame and rewriting it to make it silly and funny. But, with "Scary Movie 2," I did not get that same feeling. It was funny, yes, but they seemed to go overboard with the entire thing. With that said, I knew about the second sequel for some time (3 months), but have yet to see a trailer. Hopefully, it will rekindle the "greatness" that was the first one...
James
I hated Scary Movie 2, but I did like the guy with the weird little arm. His voice made me laugh..."come over here, my child". lol But, generally the movie sucked. I really get annoyed by that guy who smokes weed. His laugh just makes me want to go him with a rusty fork. Ahem. The first movie was okay, but certainly nothing too interesting. It's the sort of thing I'd watch if I were bored. The third looks interesting based on the previews...but I'll have to wait and see. If it's at all like the second movie, I definitely won't like it.
Harry
This should be good. First of all the Wayans have no part in it, second the director of the Naked Gun films is the director, third it has Leslie Nielson. It's going to be hard to screw this up. For those that are basing this off the first two movies, don't. Completely different people.
WW2
I honestly don't really like the Scary Movie franchise. The main reason is because they're not really movies, they're more like just a bunch of skits spoofing other movies, over and over. Sure, some of the skits are pretty funny, but they make the movie a cluttered mess. Maybe if they tried to tie all these comedy sketches together with a single story. But this is just my opinion.:D Yo, dat jacket is tight, Ya mean?!!
