Obvious Posted August 19, 2003 Share Posted August 19, 2003 Well, i have many, but one of my favorites is when Goku has just tuned SS for the first time against Freiza and he give his speech and then says, "Ally to good, nightmare to you!" right before that giant pillar of lave erupts up behind him. A good frien of mine and i made a list of funny moments in the series and one of the memorable ones was when Freiza and future trunks start talking about goku and then King Cold ask, "Whats a Goku?" And how everyone is amazed by how powerful he is. For some reason that's a better scene in the original sub than in the dub, I guess cause if I remember they have different music and that's the best part about it. It gives it that certain emotion. It was so heroic and he finally stopped being so bitchy and finally did something for someone else for a change. I actually cried when that happened. SS5 Gogeta Posted August 26, 2003 Share Posted August 26, 2003 One of my favorite moments in DBZ was in the Kid Buu Saga when Goku asks everyone on earth to donate a part of their life energy and then you get to see everyone from even DB like Giran, Namu, and even that Native American guy. I just loved that scene. I also like the part when Hercule got so angry at the guys that shot his dog he kept beating on them which changed my opinion of him completely. Some might not agree with me but that scene in DB when the assassin Tao Pai Pai killed the Native American guy in front of Goku so quickly really got to me. Because usually Goku finds a way to save people and plus the guy was really strong and could deflect bullets. But Tao Pai Pai just killed him in like 5 seconds. I like how Picollo was the first to go out and help Gohan, then everyone else helped. Also when Goku gave his life to save everyone on earth, then cell lived anyway..... and Goku could have lived, but he sacrificed himself to keep enemies away from the planet. Mainly because of how Vegeta breaks down, as he 'knows' that they are doomed against his power, and how the others fight against Brolly, while Vegeta just sits there, contemplating his coming death. But the funniest moment would have to be when Goku and Vegita where walking around inside Buu's head and they came to a fork in the road and Vegita asks which Goku which way they should go and Goku says right so Vegita goes left, that is true coldheartedness(not sure if its a word but I'm still gonna use it). I thought that was really brave and that was the first time I recall him doing something for others! I swear I almost cried! I also loved it when buu wanted ice cream! I like Fat Buu he is my favorite character in the series. Anthoer moment was when Trunks and Goten fused the fist time and was fat and slow. Then the second they were skinny and weak. I don't know what made me love that part, but the music went well with it and the way Goku was looking. It was just Great!! I couldn't wait for him to unleash it on Frieza. 2. The second was when Goku was on King Kai's planet, when he died the first time. He had to train under King Kai. It was very funny, I thought. The way he couldn't tell a joke and when he had to chase bubbles. *sigh* just wonderful. 3. The last one was when Vegeta came back to earth after the planet Namek thing and Bulma gave him a pink shirt to wear. I couldn't believe it. That also goes into my other favorite moment when Trunks came from the future and told Goku about the androids. That episode was silly, and it kind of shocked me, too. Those are my favorites!
