OOC: You lost it, pal.

IC: The winged man stared at Inuyasha, quietly thinking about his next move. "Are you the dog man?"
Inuyasha: Dog man! Why you-
???: My quarrel is not with you, or anyone I have seen here.
Inuyasha: You just made a quarrel with me, pal.

The man looked annoyed. He took out a pair of short swords and spun them around. He went into a fighting stance. "I see. My mistake was coming here. If you have a death wish, I'll be happy to accomidate you." Both of them tensed for a moment, until the winged man charged at Inuyasha. Inuyasha held up the tetsuiga to block the man's rapid sword slashes. The man forced Inuyasha back, until he reached a tree. Inuyasha ducked before the man could run his head through with one of his swords. IY kneed him in the ribs as the man turned with a roundahouse kick. Inuyasha lept back and charged forward. The man took off into the tree tops as Inuyasha jumped after him. Inuyasha vaulted from branch to branch, the man now flying back.

Sorry to interrupt this thread, but what exactly is this, I am new to the areana thing..how does this work,is this like an RPG? I haven't seen Inuyasha this far in, I watch what's on Adult Swim..so I am a bit lost, so I wouldn't know how to keep the thread going..

Kaira: He'll be fine.
Miroku: how does InuYasha know you?
Kaira: We need to get going, staying here is too dangerous.
Miroku: But how...
Sango: Don't. She dosen't want to talk about it, let her be.
Kitty: Let's go.

[Squall]

The man flew up high, just out of InuYasha's reach. "Why? I don't want to fight you."
"A little late far that! Get down here!" He floated calmly, watching InuYasha's attempts to hack at him. He flew up another foot and dully floated. "You shouldn't be so willing to fight. The more angry you get, the more mistakes you make."
"SHUT UP!" He shot up and almost made it to him, but fell short. The man sheathed his swords. "I'm tired of all this sensless fighting. You go ahead and tire yourself out." He jumed again, this time coming level with the man. He kicked Inuyasha back down. "Okay. I know what to do." The man slowly landed, standing across from Inuyasha. Inuyasha charged, but the man didn't move. Inuyasha hit him hard and he tumbled backwards. The man slowly staggered up. IY charged again, landing a kick into his midsection. Once again, he just stood up. "Not so much fun when nobodies fighting back

Kitty: come on, we gotta go.
Kagome: You okay Kaira?
Kaira: Yeah, it's been a long time since I've seen InuYasha...
Miroku: You knew InuYasha?
Kaira: we grew up together. He was like a brother to me. He always protected me, always cared for me, and then Naraku... You probably know the rest. (a tear starts to form, but Kaira turns away so they won't notice) We have to get going, InuYasha will come.

InuYasha: I don't care if you're not fighting back, so long as you pay for hurting Kaira.

[Squall]

The man grinned. "I'll keep that in mind." Inuyasha charged, and this time slashed with the tetsuiga. He slashed and the man was pushed back. A large scar ripped across his chest. The only reason he wasn't killed, was because his arm was in the way of his heart. The lower part of his arm, though, was not so lucky, for it now lay a few yards away. "Arrh! Heh, you done yet? This hurts. And I think I'm more than even with what's her face." InuYasha's face wreathed with fury. "I'll end it quick, and you'll never hurt anyone again. The man walked forward, his face twisted in disgust. He picked up his arm and slapped IY with it. "You're far too rash. Decisions like that lead to chaos and misery. I th- NO!!" A shrill ring rang through the air. The wings on the man's back vibrated, and started to crack. They split, revealing pearly white wings. The man's face was pounding with terror. "GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!" It was too late. The man suddenly lifted off the ground and jerked to a stop. They jerked from side to side and then the man sped forward. Inuyasha grabbed his arm and was pulled through the canopy and high above the trees.

IY: If you think you're getting away, you got another thing coming!
Man: LET GO BEFORE WE CLIMB TOO HIGH!

He jerked his arm around, his flight undesstirbed. Inuyasha kept a firm grip until they were cutting through the icy cold clouds.

Man: *sigh* It's too late. InuYasha, let this be a lesson to you, to not take everything for what it seems.
IY: What are you babbling about?!
Man: It looks like were both dead, now. The drop is too long for either of us to survive.
IY: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!
Man: Well, we keep flying until my wings stop flapping, and then we die.
IY: If you want me to belive that you can't land, you got another-
Man: Shut up. I can't control my wings now any better than I can eat them. They stop flapping, we fall, we die.

Kaira's head turns back in the direction where InuYasha was.
Kagome: What is it?
Kaira: It's InuYasha, he may need help, Kagome, you can find him, we need to move fast.

Kaira: InuYasha!

Winged man: Take a good look, this is the last time you'll ever see her.
InuYasha: No, it isn't, we're closer than you think.
Winged man: Oh, I know all about you two, how she was you your only friend growing up, but I know one thing you don't know.
InuYasha: oh yeah? what's that
Winged man: You're her brother.

Kaira: Kagome, is there anything you can do?
Kagome: no.
Kaira: Then we'll just have to follow him, and find him when he falls. He's survived worse falls than this.

[Squall]

Inuyasha: What?!
Man: You heared me. Your mother couldn't have both of you, so she abandoned her.
Inuyasha:...
Man: Mind boggling, isn't it?...Oh great.
He sighed, looking ahead in their path. Inuyasha twisted around to see. A group of smowcapped mountains loomed ahead of them.

Man: twenty to one, we fall in a vally, or maybe a whirlpool.
Inuyasha: And you really cant stop this thing?!
Man: Maybe. Get out your sword.

Inuyasha pulls it out and looks up at him. The man looks down, his face cold and dark. "Okay, now hack these things off when we near a highrise."

Inuyasha: Are you serious?!
Man: Yeah. They've been torn out before, there are worse things.

The wings suddenly started madly jerking around, trying to avoid being hacked off. "Would ya hold still?!"

Man: I think we've already discovered that I can't. Look, heres a river up. You set?

Kagome: Kaira, can I ask you a question?
Kaira: Yeah.
Kagome: Why do you care about InuYasha so much, and why is he so protective?
Kaira: I care because he's my twin brother. Ever since my brother died, he's been protecting me.
Kagome: Brother?
Kaira: It's a long story, I've never told anyone before.
Miroku: Does InuYasha know that he is your brother?
Kaira: No, but that man might have told him by now.
Sango: I think they might be planning something, InuYasha took out his sword.
Kitty: We'll have to hurry if we want to catch up.
Kaira: No problem there.
She starts off running, with the same jumps as InuYasha.
Miroku: She really does look like his twin.
Sango: she dosen't have his temper though.
Kagome: I think we're all glad for that.

[Squall]

Man: Now!

Inuyasha swung the tetsuiga, hacking off one of the wings. The man screamed in agony as it flopped th the ground, leaving nothing but a stub. Inuyasha swung the tetsuiga, but the second wing was flailing to hard for him to hit it. "Hurry! The river's going to curve!"
"Give me a minute, will ya!!!?" He fially stabbed the wing and tore it in half. The man screamed again as they started to plumet. The water broke their fall just before it curved off. Inuyasha climbed onto the bank and looked to see the others rushing towards him. Kaira grinned as she drew nearer.
"Inuyasha! Your okay!"
"Yeah. Where'd he-" Inuyasha turned around to find the man, who was sitting on the opposite shore. He looked up at them and scowled. "If you still want to fight, go jump in the river and fight the current."

Kaira: InuYasha, you sure you're ok?
InuYasha: Yeah, I'm fine, what about you?
Kaira: I'll be fine.
InuYasha: You sure, you look like you're in pain.
Kaira: It's just a few broken ribs, I'll be fine.
InuYasha: Kaira?
She looks up, he can see the pain in her eyes, she then collapses, unconsious. He catches her as she falls, and he knew. It wasn't just broken ribs. Visions of the past clouded his mind, and he knew. It was happening again.
Kagome: InuYasha, what happened?
InuYasha: We have to go to the village and find Kaede, it's vital to Kaira's survival.
Miroku: This has happened before, hasn't it?
InuYasha: Yeah. She almost died. We need to get help before it's too late.
Man: And too late could be very soon.
InuYasha: What do you know about it?
Man: I've seen this before. It causes great pain and kills quickly. The only antidote is the serenity weed, it became extinct years ago. There are others, but they only delay the poison's spread.
InuYasha: Kaede will know what to do, she's helped her before. And the time will let us try to find this serenity weed. I emember it grew by the riverbank at my hometown but... I don't think I can go back there. We have to go to kaede, It's our only choice.

[T man]

"Well to get us there faster than on foot I know a spell that I can do" kyp said. "Then do it as fast as you can" inuyasha said. Kyp nodded as he held out his hands. 15 blades appeared in a circle and lowered to the ground. They started spninning around them untill a disk appeared under there feet and lefted them up. "How fast can this thing go" kagome asked. "It can go prety fast if no one interupt's me" kyp said as they left the river and flew above the trees. Kagome pointed out in wich direction the village was. After a couple of minutes a village came into view. "Is that it over there" kyp asked. Inuyasha nodded as the disk started going faster.

[Guest MultiDimention]

The wind tore at Inu Yasha's clothes and hair, causing them to blow aimlessly behind him in the breeze. He looked seriously ahead at the village slowly drawing nearer, but every time Kaira took a noisy breath, or shifted in her sleep a little, Inu Yasha's face turned from serious, to worried as he glanced down to make sure she was ok. When Kaira groaned and rolled her head to the other side, Inu Yasha became (if possible) even more worried.

Inu Yasha: Can't this thing go any faster?!
The words seemed to drift away in the wind, but they managed, it seemed to get to the reciever.

Kyp: Right.
And the disk's speed increaced dramaticly. The village was drawing nearer faster.

InuYasha: Kaede...?
Kagome: Where is she?
Miroku: Not here, obviously, It looks like it's been deserted for years.
Sango: That isn't possible, I was just here yesterday.
InuYasha: Himura, you know what the weed looks like, right?
Himura (Winged man): Yes...
InuYasha: Go and find Sesshomaru, he can show you where the town is. The weed used to grow by the river. Please hurry.
Himura: Right.
Himura leaves to find Sesshomaru. InuYasha lays Kaira down on the straw mat.
InuYasha: All we can do now is wait. And hope he gets back in time.

Kaira could hear voices, and sounds. But they didn't matter. All she really felt was pain. And cold, it was so cold here. The memories of pain, the pain now, the freezing cold, all merged. There was no light or dark, there was no sense of time, no past, no present, no future, only pain. There was a voice, it was familliar, but she couldn't place it. It was getting warmer, and there were crackling sounds, but still that voice. Kaira knew she knew who it was, it was soothing and familiar, but there was too much pain too know for sure. Pain. Cold. Memories. Pain. Pain and cold. Cold and pain. Memories...

Kaira tensed in pain, InuYasha moved a piece of hair from her face, and ran his hand down her cheek. It quieted her a bit, and she relaxed. The fire had helped too, her skin wasn't cold anymore, but she was still shivering. The others had all gone to sleep, but InuYasha refused to leave her alone. He would stay up for days to watch over her. It wasn't only because she had done it for him, It was because he cared. If Kaira died, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. No, he wouldn't lose her, not again.

[Squall]

Himura searched the town from upon a ledge, hoping to find the one called Sesshomeru. "Maybe..." He tensed. His eyeballs buldged and he growled. He let out a scream and two black wings sprouted from his back. "Arrgh! It worked... why the hell am I helping these people out anyways? Inuyasha's a prick, and I don't know the others. The things i do..." He complained to himself as he shot up and soared over the plains. He flew into the outskirts and scooped up a villager. "AAH!! Not you again!!"
"Well, what do you know. Tell me what you know about Sesshomaru."
"It's a demon!! He comes here to fight Inuyasha!" Himura drops the villager and turns back.

"Inuyasha, use the tetsuiga to signal Sesshomaru."
"Huh?"
"I think he may be attracted to you when you are most powerful."

Inuyasha gave him a skeptical look, but did it just the same. Bright flashes of light soared into the sky. Sesshomaru, who was four miles away, suddenly stood up. "What is this I sense from Inuyasha?"

[T man]

Kyp was sharing a hut with miroku. He looked out a window and saw inuyahsa use the tetsuiga. "So that is some of the power of the tetsuiga that i'v herd about" kyp thought. Some thing inside him started bugging him. "Why doesn't that blade ever listen" kyp asked him self. He herd some one moveing and he looked around. He saw miroku sitting up. "I have a question for you kyp" miroku said. "Ya what is it" kyp said. "It's about those blades you summon. How many are there" miroku asked. "There are a total of sixteen but I only use fifteen of them because the sixteenth one doesn't listen" kyp said.
"Can I see it" miroku asked. "Fine but only if you think you can handle it" kyp said as he started concintrating. The blade appeared in his hand. "Here you go but be carefull" kyp said smilling as he gave the blade to miroku. Miroku held the blade in his hand as it started vibrating. The thing flew up and slamed miroku into the cieling then flew out of the hut. "I warned you" kyp said as miroku droped. He looked out of the hut as the blade almost hit inuyasha's head but he ducked. The blade hit a tree and started carving. "Don't ask me why it carvs things but it does" kyp said as he sent some blades to retrive the other. By the time the blades reached the other one it had carved a wood statue of inuyasha. The blades brought back the one that escaped and kyp absorbed them. "Told you it's hard to control" kyp said as he lay down.

Miroku: hmm...
Kyp: what?
Miroku: Let it go again.
Kyp: Why?
Miroku: It has some kind of special power, it has to have some reason for doing it.
Kyp: ?
Miroku: has it always been like this?
Kyp: no, it just started a little while ago.
Miroku: How long ago?
Kyp: I dunno, a few months maybe.
Miroku: Interesting. Very interesting.
Kyp: What?
Miroku: That was about the time we all started sensing the dark prescence.

Sesshomaru: What was that I sensed
InuYasha: I dunno, ask him *points to Himura* all I know is that we need you to show him where our hometown is, so he can get the antidote for Kaira.
Sesshomaru: Right. Let's go then.
Sesshomaru and Himura leave, and InuYasha goes back inside to watch over Kaira.

[T man]

"If you want me to let it out again you better duck" kyp said as he walked out of the hut. He let out the others then let out the strange acting one. The others formed a cage around it so it wouldn't escape. It flew around the cage but kept getting shocked. "Where did you find these" miroku asked. "It's more like where did I find it" kyp said. "What do you mean by it" miroku asked. "On my travels I came upon a battle field and both sides were dead. I found a sword blade with out a handle. In the center there was a part of hit that was darker than the rest of the blade. The blade had no jagged ends so it wasn't broken off so I searched for the handle" kyp said as he walked around the cage.
"I didn't find a handle. As I put the sword down the center part glowed and I absorbed it then I could summon these blades and they could fuse with my sword to increase my power" kyp said as the blades moved apart and let him in. He grabed onto the blade and held it. Miroku looked at it throught the cage and noticed it was darker than the others. Kyp opened a hole in the cage and let the blade out. It flew to another tree and started carving. "Like I said before, I have no idea why it does that. It normaly carvs things i've seen or people i've meet" kyp said getting ready to retrive the blade once it finished carving.

Miroku: It seems that this blade has a higher power than the rest. It has a direct link to your mind, and reflects what is there. It does not listen to you because you have yet to learn to listen to yourself. This can only be accomplished by overcoming the trials of life. You have yet to lose Innocense, have not yet killed, and so, in your current state, you do not yet know your own power, and so you do not know the blade's power. It has a direct link to you.
Kyp: So you're saying... that this blade... can read my mind?
Miroku: in a way, yes.

InuYasha: (scilence)
Kaira's condition was worsening, She no longer opened her eyes or spoke. Her sleep was calm and the only signs of life were the rise and fall of her chest, and the shallow breaths, and those were barely noticeable, even for his keen ears. InuYasha was worried, they should have been back by now. Where were they? He was just thinking this when they walked in. InuYasha jumped up;
InuYasha: The antidote, did you get it?
Sesshomaru: Yes. She'll be alright now, right?
Himura: Yes, she'll recover.
InuYasha: She just needs time to rest.
___
The pain and cold, it was gone now, she could finally breathe normally, and she had her senses back. She knew her brothers had saved her again, she owed them her life. She slept soundly that night, they all did, knowing that the immideate danger to her life was past.

[Squall]

Himura sighed and waved off. "Well, if this tragic sibling story is about over, I gotta get going."

Kagome: Hey, why did you want to talk to me, anyway?

Himura: Misplaced identity, put it out of your mind. But before I leave *turns back* the Enders are on the move. If you see them, run and don't look back.

He cracked his nuckles and streached his neck in either direction. He winced as he crouched down, but shook it off and took off into the sky, which now glew a bright orange with the setting sun. He searched the ground for something, but apparently didn't find it. He shrugged and cut through the clouds.

Kagome: Sesshomaru, can I ask you a question?
Sesshomaru: Certainly; what is it?
Kagome: Why did you help Kaira?
Sesshomaru: She's my sister too, I care about her.
Kagome: But InuYasha is your brother, and she's his twin, you want to kill him, don't you?
Sesshomaru: No, I don't
Kagome: But you said...
Sesshomaru: A human couldn't possibly understand a demon.
Kagome: yeah, you're right about that one.

InuYasha: Welcome back to the land of the living
Kaira: *laughs*
InuYasha: You okay now?
Kaira: Yeah, I'll be fine.
InuYasha: How'd you find me?
Kaira: I thought you'd died years ago, then I heard about a half demon killing Naraku, and I knew it had to be you. I asked around, and finally ended up back here.
InuYasha: I see.
Kaira: How'd you get around without me sensing you?
InuYasha: I don't know, Naraku most likely. It's a good thing he's dead.
Kaira: He may not be.
InuYasha: How can that be, We killed him, we saw him die.
Kaira: This energy, It seems very similar to Naraku. It is possible that whatever this thing is absorbed what was left of him, which would mean that Naraku still exists, and his hate is still strong. Though it is more powerful, it could have got it's start with the same thing that feuled Naraku.
InuYasha: I see...
Kaira: If this power continues to grow, it could mean big trouble.

Raven: This girl, she knows too much. She could present a problem if left. But this man, InuYasha. He would give his life to save hers. Either way, the plan is ruined. decisions decisions, what to do.........
