Kikyo-Shut your mouth with those lies! On the other hand let me silence you!

Kaira: Inu Yasha! I sense Kikyo in the area!
Inu Yasha: Huh? Where is she?

But, before Kaira could answer, a scream came from the forest.

Kagome: INU YASHA!!!!

Inu Yasha: Kagome!! She sounds like she's in trouble!


Inu Yasha desperately wanted to find out where Kikyo was, but didn?t have time. He took off through the forest with Kaira at his heels, speeding towards the scream.

Kikyo: Ha! You think Inu Yasha will save you? Well, he may. He does seem to like you quite a bit doesn?t he? But didn?t he like me just as much? And look what he did. He betrayed me just like he will betray you!
Kagome: You?ve got it all wrong Kikyo! Inu Yasha loved and still does love you!
Kikyo: He betrayed me!
Kagome: But he didn?t! If you only knew!
Kikyo: All I need to know is that Inu Yasha is a betrayer! Now hold still and this won?t hurt a bit?

O.O.C: You should edit your post because if you read the first post at the top you'l see that miroku is with my character.

Miroku and kyp herd kagome screem. In the moment that kyp wasn't looking the blade flew on ahead of them to where kagome screamed. "Not again. When ever lose track of it I can't find it for days" kyp said as he started running as the other blades flew on ahead. They continued running as they saw inuyasha along with kaira. "What do you thinks going on" kyp asked. "I think it's kikyo" inuyasha said. Once they found kagome kikyo fired a arrow. Kyp's rouge blade lead the other and cut up the arrow. The blades started floating around kagome and aimed there points at kikyo. "They've never done that before" kyp thought as he put his hand on his sword getting ready to draw it.

Kikyo stood arms out streched she smiled at Inuyasha and said, "If you wish to kill me do so...." Inuyasha's eyes widend and kyp sword drew. Inuyasha yelled, "NO!" And ran for Kikyo! She smiled empty and said, "Isn't this nice your trying to repent you'r sin of killing me and save me." Inuyasha reached for her as she stood unflinchingly. *Why dose he wish to save me?* Kyp yelled "Inuyasha get out of the way!" He was directly behind him.
Miroku said softly its no use he'll go to her no matter the cost. Kagome watched with watered eyes..."Inu---Yasha"

Suddenly, InuYasha's hand went to his sword with anger in his eyes and he raised it to strike.
InuYasha: If you don't leave now, I just might decide to kill you.
Kaira seemed to be the only one who wasn't suprised at his reaction.
Kikyo: see Kagome, you were wrong.
Kikyo dissappeared.
InuYasha: Are you alright Kagome?
Kagome: Yeah but... I thought...
InuYasha: You thought wrong.
Kaira: That is not the same Kikyo we knew.
InuYasha: I realize that now, I hate myself for taking so long to figure it out. kagome, I'm so sorry.
Kagome: It's ok InuYasha, I understand.

Raven: WHAT HAPPENED
Kikyo: I... I... I'm sorry Raven, I couldn't kill her like you asked.
Raven: I can't belive it, what do you mean he dosen't like you anymore?
Kikyo: He tried to kill me.
Raven: Great. Wonderful. Just peachy. Now I have to think up a new plan Again.

Kikyo turned from raven and disapeared. She went to a villaege and tended to the sick. *Why wont Inuyasha's face get out of my mind!* And kagome. After the sick were taken care of she walked a few steps and senced miroku "What do you wish monke?" She gave a angered look. "Why did you atack Kagome?" "I dont know!" "Well, do you love him that much to get rid of her...or were you camanded to?!" She put her hand on her chest and thought *It was both.* But just as she opened her mouth a pain hit her side! Ah....she sat on her legs....*rrrr....raven* Kikyo? "GO NOW!"
RAVEN: Kikyo im in your mind,thoughts,emotions,body I know that you could have told the truth so I had to stop you!
"Miroku where have you been?" Kagome looked up. "O just a uhhh walk."

[Squall]

Himura stopped with such a jerk that he bit his tongue.
[i] Two Kagome's?!!! [/i]
He blinked stupidly for a second, and looked across the ground. A black haired girl on the ground held her side in pain. Himura looked on in terror, as a blue monsterous thing dug a needle into the lady's stomach.
[i] ENDERS?!! [/i]
He drew his double swords and swooped towards the ground.
[i] How did they get here? [/i]

Kikyo tried to hold in a scream as what looked like a bird man swooped next to her and tackled the thin air beside her. The pain stopped coming for a moment as he fought with empty space. It seemed he was victorious by the stop of movement as he turned towards Kikyo. "WHERE ARE THEY?!!"
"What are you talking about?" He swore in fury and burst into the air.
[i] Damnit! How did I miss them?! There all over! [/i] He swooped down again with his swords drawn.

Tsicoro was in his cabin after training hard all day at the secret location of a waterfall. Meditating there and practicing his sword techniques had always seemed more calming there. He had yet to get himself some dinner.

Dinner had always been difficult to cook up. He was still learning to cook properly, he had grown up in the major villaiges and usually just stolen food from the different families who left their tables, and mostly markets. Of course, he didn't always have to do that. Up until he was four years old his mother and father would get him everything he needed. Then there was that terrible night, Tsicoro had been in his room, just about to fall asleep. Then there was a defeaning crash heard at the entrance to his home. He sat bolt up in his bed, as he heard two screams coming from his parents room. He quitely snuck out of his room to see what was going on. Naraku was standing in the doorway of his parents room advancing on his mother and father every second. Tsicoro ran out of the house and hid out in the forest, hearing the horrid screams of his only family.

Tsicoro shook his head and tried to forget the memory. He felt ashamed though, because if he had had his skills in the sword and had known more about his magic, he could've killed Naraku right there. "Oh well" he sighed "What has been done has been done. I will get my revenge someday. I hear that Naraku is dead, but im sure those rumors are false."

Tsicoro quietly cooked his dinner. Chicken with potatoes, again. It was about the only thing he knew how to make well. He needed a friend, someone who would teach him to cook! He ate his meal outside. The sun was just about to set. "No, i think i want a bit more daylight" he thought to himself and with some effort he cried "Dalatius moro!" The sun slowed down.

"Ahh, thats bet-" he was cut off, in the distance of the wood, he heard some voices talking. He went closer to the forest, using his ability of invisibility he quietly looked to see who his trespassers were. Their voices were coming closer with every step he took. He came to a clearing where he saw a woman who looked about twenty and a man who looked about 18. They were talking about something. He heard their convorsation, apparently the man was a monk and the woman had attacked someone named Kagome. Suddenly, the woman slumped to her knees and clutched her side grimacing in pain. "GO NOW!" she yelled. The man took off running, and Tsicoro followed. The man met up with a girl, "Miroku, where have you been?" she asked. "Ahh" Tsiroco thought "So his name is Miroku"

Tsicoro stepped out and uncloaked himself from invisibility. Miroku and the girl stepped back and Miroku held out his fist and prepared to take the string of beads from it.

Tsicoro: Hold on there! I don't mean any harm! I just followed you because I thought you might be in trouble for that girl was starting to act very strangely. I wanted to know if i could help. I heard something about attacking a Kagome?

Kagome: I'm Kagome!

Miroku: I think we'd all like to know who you are.

Tsicoro: Oh, im terribly sorry. My name is Tsicoro, now, i don't want you to run away, but i am a half/human. I wield magical powers, but i promise, i will not hurt you. Not unless you work for that evil Naraku of course. He killed my parents when i was just a boy. If you are against him, i am on your side. And believe me, you wouldn't want me not to be.

Kagome: Then we are on your side too. Come on, lets go find the others. Im sure they'd love to meet you.

Kikyo looked around in confusion,"What happened?" Raven appeared,"You almost told." Kikyo said softly "Inuyasha.." Raven lifted her arms "Your still in love with him,kikyo raised off the ground, He betrayed you and he is in love with kagome!" Kikyo scowled at her and tryed to brake free from her grasp..."Darn you raven!" Kikyo struggled to get those words out befor she blacked out.

This may be bad, but ok:


Tsicoro, Miroku, and Kagome walked through the woods fairly slowly, but, in a way, it felt as if they were like little children rushing to get somewhere else so they wouldn?t get in trouble.

Tsicoro: So, who are the others? What are their names?
Miroku: Well, there?s Inu Yasha, he?s a half-demon also, but don?t remind him. If there?s one thing you should know about Inu Yasha, it?s his temper. And, let?s see, there?s Kyp, when he lets his 16th blade loose, you?d better duck. There?s Kitty, don?t get on her bad side; she knocked someone out while barely touching him, and not with a magic spell. Then there?s Kaira, she?s Inu Yasha?s twin sister, but she doesn?t have his temper. There?s Shippo and Sango and her three-tailed cat Kilala.

Tsicoro nodded. The three of them didn?t say anything, because there was nothing to say, until they emerged from the forest into a clearing that seemed just on a hill looking down on the village below. They walked down the hill and approached a hut. They went inside and saw the others sitting on the floor. Immediately after they walked in, Inu Yasha stood up, either preparing to fight, or is so use to the position he was in it automatically.

Inu Yasha: Miroku, who?s this?
Tsicoro: My name?s Tsicoro. I do not mean to cause alarm. I hear that you too have a score to settle with Naraku, well, so do I. Therefore; I believe I am on your side and I think you?ll agree that it seems idiotic to fight with people who are supporting you. I?m assuming you?re Inu Yasha?
Inu Yasha: *sitting down* Yeah, that?s me.
Kyp: I?m Kyp, that?s Shippo, Sango and Kilala, Kaira, and Kitty.

Kyp said this, pointing to each as he said their names.

Kyp: Well, that was a good dinner. I?ll see you guys in the morning. `Night.

And he left the cabin.

Miroku: Yes, I think I?ve had enough excitement for one day as well. Tsicoro, you can sleep in our hut. Good Night.

And he followed in Kyp?s wake as Tsicoro followed in his. Pretty soon the others had gone to sleep and the fire died leaving nothing but darkness and the feelings of excitement and confusion of that day, and even they were fading with every second.

Kikyo had awoken out side where she had met miroku it was like nothing had happened! I was dark out and she could bairly see where she was going she held out her arms and felt as she walked for some thing to lean on. He legs grew tired and she was abut to fall Then the strangest thing happened a man had cought her! She asked startily,"Who are you?" The man said no need to worry kikyo you need to get out of here wild demons come out at night looking for souls and victoms." He put her on his back and carred her to his hut. He lit a fire and the man had black hair to his sholders he looked just like nuraku but he clamed he wasent and kikyo did not have enoughf energy to get away frome him if he was so she stayed.

Raven: To think I would still be this weak even after absorbing Naraku, who would've thought it. And why does InuYasha and his darned [not quite a strong enough word, but oh well, how much better can ya get without swearing] sister always have to get in the way. And their stupid friends, they keep getting more of them. Messing up my plans so I keep having to make up new ones. why can't I just kill them all.
Raaven: you know why, don't start getting ideas, you know they're too valuble.
Raven: Yeah... but.....
Raaven: no buts.
Raven: thanks.
Raaven and Raven became one once again

Kaira: InuYasha, I'm worried, we haven't had and activit from he enemy side for nearly a week, something's wrong, I know it.

[T man]

Kyp had the other blades finish carving the statue because he figured that they were conected to each other and he still wanted to keep control of the rouge blade. Once the blades finished kyp looked out and saw that it was a statue of inuyasha's sister. "I wonder why they decided to carve her" miroku asked looking out the window. "Miroku tells me that you have controll over those blades but there's a rouge one that keeps carving things" tsicoro said as the blades returned to kyp and he absorbed them. "Ya but miroku says the rouge one carves because it meens some thing but I don't know what" kyp said.
"Hey can I see the rouge one" tsicoro asked. "Fine but I don't know what'll happen" kyp said as the blade appeard in his hand. "I'd be carefull about that one" miroku said backing away. Tsicoro took it out of kyps hand but the blade didn't do any thing. Miroku's mouth just droped open as tsicoro looked it over and tossed it in the air. "Are you sure that's the right blade because the when I had it, it slamed me into the roof" miroku asked looking at kyp. "It's the right one. Some thing must be going on for it not to slam some one or to run off" kyp said as he took the blade back and absorbed it. "Now let's go to sleep. We'll worry about the blade later" kyp said as he laid down and went to sleep.

[Squall]

Himura hovered around the clouds with a wild ferocious look in his eyes. He continued to swoop in and attack the so-called Enders. The villagers seemed quite amused at his slashing at thin air. The Enders came in thousands. A lady screemed as her husband suddenly fell to the ground dead.
[i] Damn!! Nobody can see these things! How can I get them to run? [/i]
An idea struck him as he soared down the street. His eyes glew a menacing blue which blended with his horrible bat like wings. "Get out of my way! I'll kill you all!!" It seemed to work as villagers started to run, terrified. The Enders swarmed him as he hacked through them all. The town security sealed off the street and started closing in. They did their best to latch onto him and keep him down, but Himura thundered upwards and sent them all flying.
[i] This doesn't make sense! Why would Enders come here? Is there something they want? [/i]

Tsicoro wondered through the night about the incident with the blade. "why did it behave for me when it didn't even behave for Kyp?" tsicoro thought "tommorow i'll talk more to Kyp about it, and Miroku too, he seems to know a little bit about it also"

Tsicoro was very happy to finally meet some new people, and if they were, as they claimed, to be on his side, he was pretty sure they could grow to be friends. They seemed nice enough, though InuYasha did, as Miroku had said, definately have a temper. "Ah well" he pondered, " i can get over that"

Thinking about all of the days events, tsicoro started to drift off to sleep.

Tsicoro was walking through the forest. As he stepped by trees, they turned into wood carvings of all the people he had met that day, Kyp, Miroku, Kagome, InuYasha, Kitty, Sango, Shippo, kaira, and even Kilala! He walked onward and he came to that very same clearing and he saw that strange girl fall once more. All of the sudden 16 blades, one larger than the rest, came rushing towards him at full speed. He cast spells to slow them down, none of them worked, one by one they started forming a cage around him as the forest turned into a massive place of pure darkness and tsicoro was engulfed by it.

"AHHHHHH!" Tsicoro awoke with a start.

Kyp: What? Wha happened? Whats wrong?
Tsicoro: Huh? oh umm nothing. Just a dream. Sorry for waking you.
Kyp: Thas alri....*snore*

Kyp had fallen back asleep. "man" Tsicoro thought, "the others are heavy sleepers. Im surprised they didn't hear me. Good thing too. I wouldn't want them all to be mad at me."

Just a dream, he had said, just a dream. But as Tsicoro lay back down, he started to think it was maybe something more.

[Inuyashagurl_15]

Kikyo looked over the man. "Are you positive your not nuraku?"
"Kikyo you have asked me 15 times IM NOT!" The man looke dat her "Your dont apear to have any seen wounds, do you feel tired at all?" But kikyos eyes had already closen He dimed the fire and lay on the other side of the hut. Hours later it began to get cold the entire hut had froven as kikyo jerked awake she looked out of the hut. She heard noises but couldnt see a thing she grabbed a bow and ran. *O great I have put his life in danger all I have to do is run out of hrere and him along with the others will be safe.* A throbbing pain appeared it her heart she couldnt stop now. Another and another some one wanted her not to escape. She got to the edge of the village and entered the forest.

[Kieko]

Kikyo staggered through the darkness, the pain in her heart getting worse and worse. After she had gone about 40 yards since she entered the forest, she had to lean on her arm on a tree for support. But she soon dropped to the ground, clutching her white gi where her heart was. Why do I have this pain? And why is it in my heart? She thought. But she didn?t have time to dwell on this thought because the noise came again. Agonizingly she forced herself to stand up and walk. While she was walking, every tree she passed she had to put her hand on incase she had to stop. The pain in her heart grew more severe, but she kept going, she didn?t know why, she just felt the need to do so?

The sun rose over the hills around the huts and, being use to getting up with the sun, Tsicoro awoke and walked out of the hut he was sharing with Miroku and Kyp. The fresh warming rays of the sun and the smell of dew instantly greeted him when he stepped out the entranceway. He looked around; there was something in the woods, he knew it, he could feel it, but what was it? Oh, well, he decided and shrugged it off turning his mind towards the new day. Slowly, one by one, the others awoke, Miroku, being the first, stepped out of the hut into the sunlight.

Miroku: Oh, here you are Tsicoro. Your bed was empty so I thought you left.
Tsicoro: *regaining the thought in his head* There?s something in the woods.
Miroku: Huh? What do you mean?
Tsicoro: There?s something in the woods, I don?t know what, but I can feel it.
Miroku: Hmm?

After the others had awoken and eaten, Tsicoro decided to find Kyp in a private place and discuss his dream. He went into the cabin and saw Kyp alone there, so he sat down next to him and told him about his dream.

Kyp: I don?t know what exactly this dream means, but I have a guess.
Tsicoro: Go on.
Kyp: Well, the rogue blade behaved for you, right? And that girl *No one accept Miroku or Tsicoro knew the girl was Kikyo because they hadn?t told anyone about the meeting* fell to her knees right before the blades attacked you right? Was the rogue blade leading them?
Tsicoro: Yes.
Kyp: Well, then I think that the rogue blade behaved for you because it either felt a dark presence inside of you, which is highly unlikely, or it was building up your trust so that it could betray you easier. I think it is either purely bad, or is being controlled by a dark presence because Miroku said that it started acting up once they felt the dark presence. And, I think it?s in alliance with the dark presence that made the girl fall to her knees. But that?s just a guess.

[T man]

Kyp was sitting down thinking about what was happening with the blade. "Miroku says that the blade is a representaion of my self so it's probaply not working with any one evil. It's probaply reatcing to some thing" kyp thought. "Can you tell me where you got that those blades" tsicoro asked. Kyp nodded as he started rembering where he found it. "On my travels I came by a village where a battle was happening near by. Because no one in the village were fighters and because I was the only one around who would fight I was asked to check on the battle to see if it would grow and reach the villge" kyp said. "So you found the blades on the battle field. "Not exactly. Once I got to the battle field no neither side was alive. I found a sword blade that wasn't broken but there was no handle. I some how abosrbed it and was able to control and summon 16 small blades. The rouge one was the one in the center of the blade" kyp said.
"Can you show me the single blade" tsicoro asked. Kyp nodded as the blades appeared. Once the rouge one apeared it tried to fly off and start carving again but kyp stopped it. "Well it seems like it's back to normale" kyp said as the blades started flying around the rouge one and in a flash of light they turned into one sword blade. Kyp picked it up and held it in his hands. "Your right. There aren't any jagged ends" tsicoro said looking the blade over untill he noticed a black part in the center. "What's that part" tsicoro asked. "That would be the rouge blade" kyp said laying the sword blade on his lap. "I've been able to have the blades connect onto my sword to increase my power but I don't know why they do" kyp said.

Kikyo lookd around trying to find a place to go hide. The noise was directly behind her she knew she cant or well couldnt escape and if she didnt find some were soon she would not be able to escape!!!!!! Her heart tugged agean and and she fell to her knees and the noise grew closer to her. She grabbed a bow *I may use all my strength with this shot but im willing to risk it!*

It was dark outside when Kaira woke up. She went outside to look at the stars, but they were blacked out by the shadow of a large monster. She slowly backed into the hut.
Kaira: Inu Yasha. Wake up.
Inu Yasha: What?
Kaira: There's a monster outside-
But, she was interupted by a scream.
Inu Yasha: Kagome!
They both run outside.
Kaira: Hey!
But the monster turned around faster than she had anticipated and put a deep gash in her stomach causing her to be thrown backwards. Inu Yasha caught her.
Inu Yasha: Kaira!
Kaira: It's ok. I'm fine. Really I'm...
And she slipped into unconciousness.

[T man]

Kyp and tsicoro looked at the monster. "O.k it's time for a fight" kyp said as he threw the sword blade in the air. The blades seperated. The blades brought the rouge one back to kyp. He aborbed it as he drew his sword. He raised his sword as the blades started cirlceling him. The blades flew around the sword as they started glowing. Once the blades stoped glowing they were gone and it seemed like kyps sword had grown in size. "So let's go see what we're up against" kyp said as he started running with tsicoro following. Once they found the others they saw that kaira and had been attacked. Miroku looked at kyp then at his sword. "Where did you get that from. It's almost as big as inuyasha's" miroku asked. "My blades combined with my sword to increase it's power" kyp said takeing a fighting stance.

OK, I'm back to posting for myself. This is mine:


Inu Yasha: Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!

Three jets of light appeared and zoomed toward the monster. Inu Yasha landed back on the ground. It was harder to fight while holding your sister. The attack worked. The jets of light hit the monster square in the chest, sending it stumbling backwards. But, when it recovered, it's eyes were glowing green and it looked angry. The monster aimed it's fist at Inu Yasha and swung with all his might. Inu Yasha jumped, and the monster's fist hit the ground, shattering the surface of it. Kaira was bleeding bad. her blood splattered on the ground everytime Inu Yasha landed from a jump.

Inu Yasha: *thinking* This is too dangerous. I have to get Kaira to safety.
Miroku: Inu Yasha! Over here! Get Kaira to safety! We'll hold him off!

Kyp, Kitty, Tsicoro, and Sango and Kilala appeared behind Miroku. All looking ready to fight. Inu Yasha nodded and ran back to the huts.

Tsicoro launched the first attack.

Tsicoro: Shotilu Needilomus!

And he shot about a hundred needles at the monster. After the monster was staggered by this attack, Sango threw her boomarang and knocked it off it's feet. Kyp then tried to cut it with this sword by jumping up in the air and swining down with all his might, but the monster suddenly came to grips with his surroundings and swatted Kyp aside. He hit the ground hard as the monster got up and Kitty tried one of her attacks, but the monster evaded it and punched her with his massive fists and she flew backwards into a tree. Sango tried her bomarang once more, but the monster caught it and broke it in two. Miroku was about to take away the beads restricting his right hand's air rip, but he glanced around and saw poisonous insects were surrounding the clearing. Then, before they could react, the monster launched an attack on Sango, Miroku and Tsicoro with the same needles Tsicoro shot! Every one was down, but as Kyp looked up, he saw a bomarang just like Sango's appear in the monster's hand, and a sword like his at his side.

Inu Yasha: Well, the bleeding's stopped at least.

Kaira lay on the floor next to the fire in the middle of the hut. She stirred and awoke. Inu Yasha snapped to attention.

Inu Yasha: Are you ok?
Kaira: Yeah, I think so.

Then she felt something.

Kaira: Where are the others? I can barely feel their energy! And the monster's is more powerful than before!
Inu Yasha: The others went to fight the monster.
Kaira: The we have to go help them. Come on!

[T man]

"Let's see what else this thing can do" kyp thought as the blades seperated from his sword. He had them start moveing in a quick patern to kill the poison insects untill there was none left. "Well that takes care of the bus for the mean time. Now to help the others" kyp thought. The blades glowed as they floated around the others healing them. "Thanks for getting red of the insects" miroku said getting up. "So what are we going to do know. It seems like it just copys our attacks" sango said.
"Then just try some thing different" kyp said. "Hey tsicoro. Can you do that needle thing again" kyp asked. Tsicoro noded and fired. Kyp had the blades started flying arond the blades entill a wind was created around them. The blades came out of the tornado of needles as they hit the monster makeing it fall. "Well that seemed to help" kyp thought as the monster got up slower than before.

[NashvilleDream]

InuYasha: No, you're too weak, and you're hurt.
Kaira: I told you I'm (she tries to get up, but winces and falls back down) fine... Ok, I'll stay here, but you have to go and help the others.
InuYasha: right.
Kaira: InuYasha?
InuYasha: Yeah?
Kaira: Don't die on me, ok.
InuYasha: I won't. I promise.
Kaira: Go, Kagome needs you.
InuYasha walked out of the hut, and Kaira went back to sleep

[Squall]

Himura coughed up blood. His wings were bound and the attackers were moving in. He readied a necklace of dark blue beads. He stabbed himself in the stomach, and waited for the blood to drip onto the beads. They glew white and seperated, floating about him.
[i] I didn't want to do this, but I HAVE to save the village! [/i] He weakly stood up, his sharp blue eyes showing clear against the rising sun. He was at full height, as officials and Enders combined approached with caution. Himura took a deep breath, and prepared to throw the beads. "HADOWADA!!" The beads flew from his hands. One of them passed through an ender, and clearly didn't affect it. It hit a building, and a dome of white light surrounded it. The same happened for all the buildings and townfolk. Himura gave a victorious smile, as he coughed and sputtered to the ground...

Inuyasha (PS InuYasha is ONE WORD!!) Prepared his decent into the forest, when the lights behind caught his attention. The hut he had put Kaira in was surrounded by light. He looked terrified and ran at the hut. "KAIRA!!!" It was too late, as the hut dissapeared, leaving only a bright red bead...

Kaira groggely awoke. Something had shook the hut something awful. She looked out the door and gasped. The buildings and the townsfolk floated in endless darkness, all very confused. "W-What in the world?"
