If this person truly does like you in anyway, he wont side with his friends. If i were the person i would tell my friends to just back off and try to get to know you from a different perspective. Plus you shouldnt really let his friends get to you. He might have a completely different personality compared to his friends. Just follow what i said in the post before this one and everything should work out fine.

i have a problem......let me explain.
me and my "close" friend (lets call him bob) have been friends since the begining of sixth grade. he is going to go to college in florida (we live in pennsylvania) next month, and i was going to miss him alot. well, i went to the football game last night, knowing this was going to be the last time i was going to see him. (i had to do alot of arguing, pleading, reasoning, and more aruguing with my mom about going. she never went to football games as a kid, so she thinks its a waste of time, and her kids shouldnt go -.-)
anyways, when i finally got there, i saw a group of people i thought were my friends (they said hey to me, and pretty much ignored me after that) so, i wandered off, and found some other people, and talked to them (i could feel a big difference in the way the two different groups's attitude towards me. i liked the second group's better.)
so, when my good friend "bob" finallly came to the football game, i was really happy to see him. i was talking to him, and i gave him some cd's (i burned some episodes for him, it would have been a better way to give them to him than to do it over the internet.) he decided he didnt want them -.-
well, we joined up with some other friends, and walked around the track once. he seemed kinda distracted. when we got to our starting point, there were two girls from the same group mentioned above. they saw him, squealed his name, and ran to him to give him huge hugs. he then dropped the convo with me, and focused all his attenion to them. he didnt say bye or anything to me. i tried to come into the convo, but they ignored me, so it kinda like, oh, yeah, thats....funny so i wandered away. i felt really sad, and i didnt see him again after that.
do you think maybe i put tooo much into the friendship?
is it less than i thought it was? (are we just causal friends?)

Well I am best friends with this girl and I have sorta liked her for a while! Even though I am friends I am not sure if she wants to become more than that! How should I go about asking her and stuff?!

The best way to ask a girl is to ask her in private. Pull her off to the side or something like that and say somethign like....umm," We've been friends for so many years and a like you alot and I would like to take it one step further, but only if you want to as well." or something a long the lines.

You can even make it romantic by taking her out to eat or on a date. The main points are to make it personal and not to be to blunt. Unless she likes bluntness then go ahead and slap it in her face.;)

do you think its a faze? sometimes, he can be egotistic.......but, i dont know if he is joking or not.... :(

Hehe yeah, or you can be cheezy and get her to come over and put on a song that says how you feel. Like say... Anita Cocran's What If I Told You... or something...

Ah, most guys can be very egotistical... and not even notice it. Does he act like that only when he's around his friends? It could be a phase for him. Maybe he got in with the wrong group of friends or something.

Okay now I'm the one with the problem or rather two of my friends are. My best friend (lets call her Kat) and my friend (lets call him Doser) are perfect for each other. Even they admit that they are perfect for each other.

There's only one problem with the whole thing. They can never seem to stay together and the weirdest part is that there relationship always starts and stops when they both see me together.

Ex: Lets say that I meet up with Kat and we hang around with Doser at the theatres. They then fall in love and get together as a couple. Now lets say that a month later me and Kat go to a parade and meet Doser there. Some time during the night (with out my knowledge) they break it off.

Well actually he breaks it off pretty much every single time and I think it has something to do with me because their was one time when he told me that he really liked me.

So even though I keep telling my self that it isn't my fault that they can't make up their minds on weither or not if they want to go steady. I can't help, but feel that it is.

Even more so when Kat talks about how good they seem to be going until he says something like "...your not open enough." or " ....you don't understand your self."

In other words their are mixed feelings in their relationship, I'm trying to give the best advice that I have, their on and off going relationship seems to be evolved around me, and I'm running out of ideas and...well...advice. Somebody please help me. :(

First off, I don't know how to "rite" anything to someone, or what "loive" is. I'm sure you and she should consider the fact that you are only, what, 16? You have maybe experienced 1/6th or less of your life and you think you can comprehend the mysteries of TRUE LOVE? I think you two should make like any typical adolescent couple and part ways, attempt being friends, but you kind of asked for it by putting a relationship before a friendship. This is an experience issue here, the best advice I can give is to grow from the experience. Some day you will understand how profound real love is. Until now, you are just discovering these feelings for possibly the first time. If she wants to get together with you, fine, if not, there is really not much you can do about it.

Also , don't hold it against yourself that she thinks you are annoying. Do NOT CHANGE. It's part of growing up, and It's just as much her fault for not communicating this with you earlier. Approach her, reach out to her. If anything, bring the issue between you out in the open (not literally, I'm talking about not boxing in your feelings, talk to eachother). If anything, you will be saved alot of pain by bringing the issue to close, breakup or makeup, saving you both a lot of stress. These are special relationships , I know, I'm not trying to de-value them. Just do not take them too seriously.

I don't know what loive is either!!!

Anyways, she's definately not your true love. You're only what, sixteen? There are way more fish in the sea. Move on and don't dwell on her, or it will effect your health.

You could try to get them stuck some place for a long time. Like an hour. That usually works. But uh if that dude "Doser" Likes you even the slightest bit more than "Kat" Then he wont pay attention to her when your around. That might explain the reason of "Doser" usually runs off. But trust me guys dont give up if they really like someone. So I'm not sure about "Doser" and "Kat." But I don't know anything about the two so I can't give you too acurate information.

Well my love may I say not offending you that you have a really big messed up situation. In my opinion I DON'T WANT TO OFFEND that guy of yours sounds like a sleeze ball. He sounds like he's only interested in actually toying with her and I think your girlfriend should just go and find someone better than him. But that's just my opinion ^_^ I hope that helped in anyway. As for you nezzyjena.

This is a very sad story to hear. *sigh* but let me let you in on something. GUYS ARE PIGS! ( this comment is only to offend those who are) Some arn't and you know who you are ^_^. I think you should forget about him and find someone better. I mean from what your telling me from this story he's not sure who to like! Your better off with someone more down to earth. Note: From what I just said I didn't mean to offend any Mods or members or Otaku So if you think I did offend you I'm sorry:eek:

I've said it before and i'll say it again. You'll find you true love when she comes along. I'll quote a cartoon i can't remeber. "Love hits you like a boot out of no where. You just know when it happens." Hope thta helps. but if you truley love her, see how things play out for a week or so, then confront her about it.

Sounds like trouble to me. My opinion is to still be kind and nice to her and make her happy. But as a side carfulness. be ready for a break up not saying it'll happen but just be ready. Maybe it's just a faze that she's going through. No one could truly know

I need help a girl at school likes me, but she's a Freshman and I'm a Senior. In my state its illegal to date someone that younger than you, but she was so cute and nice so I dated her anyway and she eventually became my girlfriend. We tried it for a while and it didn't work(I broke it off because me and my High School Sweet Heart made up and I still loved her). She was really sad and went crazy talking about taking her back. Now the girl is blabbing about our secret relationship and the teachers suspect that she was my girl, but don't have enough proof yet to bring me in. I asked her to stop talking but she's blackmailing me and says she won't stop until we are together again. How do I keep her from talking?

Thanks my love for your truthfulness and as much as I hate to say this you might be right. I'll just tell her that not every guy you meet is exactly as they seem. Hope you get ungrounded soon.(blows a kiss to her darling husband)

Now for my personal problem, but this time it envolves an ex-boyfriend from my past (lets call him Stumbles). Any way I had gone out with Stumbles for only a week. I wasn't giving him what he wanted so he dumbed me.

Well he spreaded rumors and that just made me lose all respect for him. It wasn't until after he graduated that he some what started to act his age. My respect for him came back and we were just ordinary friends who talk every now and then.

Then we started to fight over stupid crap. Some times it was about how I wouldn't give him what he wanted and other times it was about me just calling up Doser (same guy from above post) to say "hi" or "how ya doing".

Eventually I tried to never to see him again, but since he was friends with Doser and some what with Kat I ended up seeing him any way. The last time I saw him we were alone for a bit because we were waiting for the others to get ready to go home.

He asked me why I delibertly seduce him then push him back like I was never intreasted and I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. He then curses at me and tells me that I'm a liar. I was able to shut him up by calmely telling him in a very sturn voice that he was childish and that he needs to grow up.

I went home with a very bad headach. So my question is this. How am I going to be able to hang out with my friends with out Stumbles being there?

If he just decides to show up one day I can't just tell him to leave like that. Any ideas, please share them.

As for your problem hell fire I can only think of 2 options. One you talk to her about your last relationship and see if one of you is making a mistake with your decisions.

Your 2nd option is to get something on her too use to your advantage like she is using your relationship to her advantage. Of coarse you must realize that none of this would have happened if you had just left her alone, but what's done is done and their is nothing you can do to change it.

Just remember never to do this again for any reason once so ever. Well for the moment the 2 options I have given you is all I can think of at the moment.

I'll let you know if I can think of any more. Hopefully someone else can come up with a much better idea. I hope. ^_^'

O.o My poor wife. Tell me the name of this man and I'll SAVE YOU. Just kidding. Well sounds to me that even if you do meet him again which I doubt because of your comment to him before was the right thing to say. Well I'd say if you do see him again and he still is childish Tell him off again. Or if you don't want to face him again ask your friends not to invite him on where you are going because you don't like him. Sorry if i'm not very helpful my love

I'm not worried about them inviting him silly. I'm worried that he'll show up uninvited and make (what ever type of night it was suppose to be) it into a LIVING H**L.

That's the problem because no one can just tell him to leave. Of course I probably would end up telling him off again any way. In a way I wish you could save me. Thanks for the comforting words my love. (kisses him on the cheek) ;)
