Stephen was already in the kitchen, he had finished preparing food rations for the party that was heading out to save Renie. He looked at the packed group outside, finished wrapping up the meat and carried the load outside, distributing it among the soldiers. He looked earnestly at Clyde.
"Don't kill yourself, now." He said, only partially joking. Clyde nodded and picked up the food rations, the rest of the group departed shortly after.

Now, Stephen was in the kitchen and he was searching through the mountain of grapes Claudio had picked earlier. They would make a great wine, and he was already filling casks full of ale to replace the ones that had been drunk last night. He looked over, Kitty, Claudio and even Kell seemed preoccupied. He abandoned his current project and walked over to them.
"You think they'll come back?" He asked, motioning to the window. Kell shrugged.
"The bandits? I hope not."
"Not after the chaos yesterday." Claudio added. Kitty looked at him.
"Why? You want them to or something?" She asked jokingly, Stephen shrugged.
"If it's good for business." Kell laughed, Stephen stared at her.
"That's not like you." She said earnestly, Stephen stared.
"That's not like you either." He said, smiling only slightly.

anyways, I guess, according to Dragon Warrior, I'm in the town at the moment. yay....I think o_O

Charles came back in a descent amount of time and she sorted throught the papers. As she re ogranized everything she began to worry about her brother and the group and hoped that all was going well.

Last night not only shook her up but almost got her seriously hurt as well. She only wished now that Renie and her would've talked more that way maybe she and Renie could've possibly been in town the night the situation happened. Soon she shook herself outt that thought and continued to concentrate on her work.

As she looked over the paperwork on the Bandits, she saw the amount of territory they had been through. She couldn't really understand why such a group would do such a thing but realized that people like them had no sense of pity or reason. She kept flipping the pages. Tuning over more and more information. But she realized the post. She called to Charles.

He came quickly and stood by the door.

Lorien: Have I recieved any letters at all today.

Charles: So far ma'am none, but its still a little early, the post usually arrives later in the afternoon.

Lorien: Thank you, Charles, that is, oh yeah before I forget how's everyone else in town fairing with this event.

Charles: There isn't much commotion. Luckily, Sariyah explained things to many people so word has been spread around quickly. People are acting like usual but you can feel a bit or nervousness in the air.

Lorien: Thank you, that is all.

He turned and left quietly leaving her to finish her work.

As she continued to look on outside, she hated to be locked up in a bed. It just wasn't her thing and soon she got up and got dressed. She wrote a note and left it on the door and exited the house quickly and quietly.

[Little Serenity]

A small beam of light danced across Renie's closed eyes. The pain in her shoulder rose from a dull ache to peircing knives. She tried to use her good arm to sit up, but both her hands and feet were bound.

"What the- oh gods, that's right..." Renie looked over at the black cloaked man munching away on an apple on the other side of the clearing. "Who the hell are you?!"

"None o' your beezwax, youz farm wench." Renie wrinkled her nose at his horrible dialect.

"Why did you bring me here? Why didn't you go after someone important like Sariyah, or Kitty, or Clyde?"

"Youz knowz t'much about de Snakeskin Bannits. Scipio was an idjit, provoken youz like dat. Wazn't smart. Youz ovaheard a lotta what dey was talkin about, an' it lanned youz here."

"Great. So I get kidnapped for protecting what's mine. This is just greaaat."

"Ey, I'm da head honcho here, dun ya fegget it lil' missy! Don' youz be givin me no lip."

"What are you planning to do with me, exactly?"

"Oh, da usual. Cut out ya tongue an' sell youz as a slave. Lotsa demands fa cute missies like youz!"

"You wouldn't! That's inhumane! I'd rather die!"

"I could take youz up on dat offer, don' kid around like dat."

"It's true! I'd rather die than become some man's slave!" Renie glared at him, fire in her eyes.

"Ey, whats ya name?"

"It's Renie, as if it's any of YOUR business."

"I like youz Renie. Keep pleasin' me, and ya might just get outta ya predicament. Ey, d'youz know if ya look good in leather pantz?"

Renie scowled, "I wouldn't know, and I don't want to know. I'm not going to become a member of your gang."

"Yeah yeah, we'll see what kinda tune ya sing later."

[Galvatron]

It was a new day as Rizzo got out of bed, he quikly got dressed into his attire. Today he would walk around town to get a nice idea were everything was.

Rizzo: What a nice town , but like everything it's going to fall itno ruin.

Rizzo walked around town and keep hearing talk about snakeskin bandits. If any one was going to start trouble in town it was going to be Rizzo Valgav. Rizzo asked around were the bandits were but the answer was they were all cought.

Rizzo: I guess im not much use if they were all cought but I wonder if i'll see some action.

Nogard keeped looking at the tree banches over the path. "It seems that they are on horse back one of them. Most likly Renie as here tracks are not on the path," he remaked as he walked with his sword drawn. "But there is something in the woods following us."

Sariyah looked around as with the rest of the group. "I don't see nothin out there. Are you sure?" He replied still looking around drawing out his sword.

"It some type of beast, Probably depating wether to attack us or search for other prey. It slightly behind us to the right in the trees about twenty yards from the path." Nogard explaied to the others. Then he stopped and look at the ground. "We are gaining ground and they know it they are stepping up the pace." He grapped a map out of a saddle bag. "This path lead to the Shinfi Swamp also known as.."

Clyde finishing "Swamp of rotting. It romured that there is a witch that hate when stranger enter her swamp."

"Then they must know the witch of that swamp," Tain replied

"No, they would of killed the witch or started the romur. He thinks like a thief of high skill. Not one of though common pick pocketer or robber he was probably train like I was," Nogard Informed them but in his mind he most likly knew who he was. "Why did you betray a me and attack the messenger he had nothin except a note that I wrote to my sister." He thought.

[Sakura]

Nisha Fairsight or Nish as she liked to be called had slept in and woke up with a jolt.She got off her bed and changed into her blue tunic and navy blue breeches and hurried out the back door.Nish looked around and saw that it was still quite early in the morning.The first thing Nish did was head towards the stables.She opened the door and saw 2 horses inside.She owned a Strawberry Roan and a Chestnut with socks.Nish walked in and rubbed their sides before grabbing the food bucket and leaving.Nish headed over to the food shed and loaded the bucket with hay and food before going back to the horses.Nish hung up the bucket and the two horses stuck their noses in and started to munch away.Nish just stood with them rubbing them tenderly.Soon they had eaten until they were satisfied and Nish let them out of the stable into the ranch area.She grabbed the reins,bit,saddle,blanket and spurs from their holding areas and walked out into the field.She gave two sharp whistles and the strawberry roan trotted over to her.Nish placed the bit in her mouth and looped the reins over her head.Then she placed the blanket on his body and strapped the saddle on and connected the spurs.When she was all saddled up Nish placed her left foot in the spur and swung her right leg over.

"Come on Berry."Nish said to the horse as she clucked the horse into a steady trot.She took Berry for a few rounds in the field before heading towards the jumps.Nish set Berry up carefully and they jumped over the series of fences before heading back to the normal field.She dismounted and turned Berry out.

She took the Chestnut,Choco for the same exercises before turning him out also.Nish headed back into the house and fed her dogs and cats and playing around with them.

Nish always went through the exercises about 3 times a day for the horses to keep them fit.

After Nish was done caring for the animals she left the house and went to see what was happening in town.

Rizzo: Thirsty were is a nice bar around this place. Hey you over there were is the bar in this town.

NPC: It should be around the corner.

Rizzo: Thanks for the information.

Rizzo continued to untill he came across the corner and turned. He was now infront of the bar, Rizzo walked in dusting off his brown coat.

Rizzo: Hey dose any one work at the counter or is everyone in the kitchen ?

Dorolin sat and watched from a tree branch, he had followed the bandits from town, and had bin practicly right next to them for an hour. The badit had picked up the pace, and Dorolin knew it was time to act.
He silintly pulled his bow from his back, and an arrow.
It wasn't his place to kill the badits, but he couldn't allow them to have there way.
He shot the arrow through the arm of the badint. The horse bucked up, and the badint couldn't hold on. He screemed in pain.
Dorolin jumped from the tree and walked up to the horse. It wasn't long befor the creature was calmed down, and Dorolin could move to the bandit. "You know, you realy should pay more attention to the forest around you." Dorolin said, the bandit spit in his face.
"Youz got a big ******* problem mesin with me!" THe man pulled his sword with his good arm. "I'm sorry, but I'm not here to kill you." he said as he slapped the horse with his sword, sending it back down the path it had come. Then he swiftly moved to Renie, He cut her bonds. "STOP IT! Whoz you think you are!?" THe bandit yelled. Dorolin wirled around and counter swung his blade skillfully. Then he kicked the man firmly in the gut, nocking the wind out of him.
"Are you ok?" He asked Renie.
Renie:"I was kidnapped for protecting my home, dragged out in to the middle of a forest, and now a guy in a black cloak saves my life, well, other then my arm, Im as well as can be expected."
Dorolin laughed, then walked back into the forest, waveing his hand for her to follow...

[Little Serenity]

"You have a horse?!" Renie and Dorolin were running down a forest path, trying to escape the gang leader.

"Sorry. Didn't exactly pack one."

"Well, that's alright, we can just run faAAAH!!" The bandit had swiftly ridden up to Renie and snatched her right off her feet, kicking and screaming. He still had the arrow in his arm.

"Dat hurt ya little punk! Now lissen t'me." He gripped Renie's shoulder and she winced in anticipated pain. "Don'tcha be comin' after meez no more! Dat is... if ya ever wanna see your frien' here again in de shape she is now."

"You wouldn't maul her! You're too much of a coward!"

"Das true, das true. But... I happ'n ta like yer frien' Renie 'ere... if ya catch my drift. Don' mess wit me again, punk." He began to ride down the path again. Dorolin aimed to kill this time, but never got the chance to shoot. The gang member squeezed Renie's shoulder and she cried out in pain, distracting Dorolin for a fraction of a second.

"Dammit," he cursed under his breath.

[The (Sic) Shape]

Clyde stopped walking and perked up as he heard something. It sounded like screaming. Could it have been Renie? He looked to the others and it seemed they didnt here anything as they continued talking.

They were still walking and they havent noticed that Clyde had stopped. He bet they wouldnt know if he was gone until it was too late. Clyde ran off in another direction off the trail and he heard the scream again. He knew it was Renie now that it was more clearer. He stopped to see a man in a black cloak shooting an arrow at someone on a horse as he rode off.

?????: Dammit.

Clyde walked closer and stepped on a small twig, causing the man to point an arrow at him as he drew his sword.

?????: Who the hell are you?

Clyde: Someone who wants to stop the bandits who are hiding here.

The man loosened his grip on his bow.

?????: Then we're on the same side. Name's Dorolin, a bounty hunter.

Clyde: Clyde, Head Guard of Black Haven. Now who was that?

Dorolin: The bandit leader and his hostage.

Clyde: Renie? Then what are we waiting for? Let's go.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Hikomi sat up smelling fresh air from the outside. She looked and saw that Luna, her black panther, had opened the balcony doors again.

Hikomi has to walk to her work. She always brings her dogs, Ace and King, her panther, Luna, and her hawk, Veritas. They are always with her and they protect her at all costs, especially her panther. They were brought in from the cold.

Hikomi looked outside and looked to her left. Not much was going on at the Inn/Tavern. Since she was up, she had better get going. She walked to her closet and opened it. Inside was a variety of clothes.

She had the magician outfit, cat suit, the regular clothes, and her infamous harlem girl suit. She took the magician outfit out of the closet and put it on. Today, she thought she'd entertain this way. Then she walked to the door and called for her animals and they followed her out of the door. Then she grabbed her leashes and put them on Ace and King.

When she got there, it was quiet. Not a lot of people were there. Hikomi looked around for Kell, Kitty, or somebody. It was really quiet.[/size][/color][/i]

Nogard stopped and Asked "Did any of you noticed that Clyde had tooken a different direction then we have?" Everyone looked around and noticed that he wasn't there. Nogard mounted on his horse. "this Path that we took cut across and gives us about ten minute ahead of them. But they probably stopped or started to go faster or heading in a different direction."

"Well we must pick up are pace." Sariyah Order the rest of them.

XD I dunno why I even post. I posted that we were ambushed by thieves and yet the next post about the group is where we're running around will nilly O.o Oy...

The trees began to clear into a more wider path and they were able to gallop now. Sariyah ducked a few branches, as did the others. They seemed to be getting lower forcing everyone to do some sort of limbo.

They came upon a path that split behind them. The left path was the one obviously where Clyde would emerge from. "We'll wait here," Sariyah suggested. Sure enough, after a good ten minutes or so, Clyde and Dorolin appeared. Dorolin suddenly drew his bow in the distance, but Clyde motioned him to drop his weapon.

Sariyah was guessing Clyde was telling the other man with him that they were friendly. And so, Clyde approached the group with Dorolin. "Hey, you guys. This is Dorolin, a bounty hunter. He's helping us track down Renie and the bandits."

"I see." Sariyah nodded at Dorolin and got the same response back. "Then it's settled. He will help us. Know anything about the Snakeskin Bandits, Dorolin?"

"Yeah. Mostly the basics and such. And then some. Have questions, I can usually answer. But I did just encounter them with Renie a while back."

"What?" Sariyah dismounted his horse at this time.

"Yeah," Dorolin continued. "And I had her rescued when suddenly, BAM! They snatched her up again. I got the leader good, though. Arrow in the arm."

"How long ago did this happen?"

"Oh, I dunno. Twenty minutes or so." Sariyah smiled.

"We're close. Let's move." And so, they rode off, Dorolin riding with another on someone's horse. They were hot on the trail for Renie and the bandits and only moments away from a rescue.

Aurora~sure. informaton about what? the bandits I suppose?

Rizzo~yes, were did they go in town and what did they take? I've seen you as a wall guard, so you should know.

Aurora~why do you want to know?

Rizzo~just to be informed.

Aurora~I'm sorry to tell you, but as a guard, but I have things that are not to be told as of the mayor's rules.

Rizzo~where can I find the mayor?

Aurora~even if I were to tell you, you couldn't get to him.

Rizzo~if he left wouldn't he need a guard such as you?

Aurora~so many questions. I was intrusted to stay and guard the town.

[i]Ceda's eyes opened, and saw the most beautiful sight of his life, a large tree in the park in the center of town. It was the fifth time he had woken up to see it. He fixed his arms behind his head, and watched a small animal with a nut in it's mouth scurry up a branch above him. Ths tree was his inspiration, to find the answer to the most simplest question of man.

"Why?"

He stood up, grabbed a few nuts off the tree, this would be his breakfast after he took a minute to wake up. He began to wander through the park unconciously, but knowing where he was going. There were young kids playing on different pieces of equipment. One small girl was crying, sitting on a swing. He became alarmed to this, he was beckoned to anyone in distress. He walked up to her. He learned that the girl had lost her cat. He would find it for her, in exchange for a place to sleep for the night. She agreed, and explained details about it.

Ceda ate his breakfast.

He later found the cat, right at the girl's doorstep, meowing at the door. He let the cat in, and stepped inside the house. There was no one there. He continued through the house, looking in all the rooms. He looked at the picture around the place, he saw no pictures of the girl. The girl was now at the door, he became alert of her presence.[/i]

Girl: I am like you.

Ceda: What?

[Galvatron]

Rizzo: Then why are you inside of a bar than watching the city ?

Aurora: Why do you ask so many questions ?

Rizzo: It's my nature to ask, well thanks for the water.

Rizzo get's up and leaves the gold soon he walks out of the bar. Rizzo shakes his head wondering if today he should play the role of a hero or villian.

Rizzo: Well the town has one gaurd, so I can help out I guess.

He starts off on a patrol route.

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Hikomi looked to Ace and King and pointed outward and they parted from her. Hikomi figured she'd sit there for awhile. Soon enough, she heard a door swing and she looked around for it. Someone was standing in front of her and she looked to him.[/size][/color][/i]

[size=1]"Yeah, you can. Give me a place to hide and I'm good."[/size]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Outside there were voices that could be heard a mile away. Hikomi looked to the door and Luna started to hiss. She looked to Luna and knew something wasn't right. Either this man was a convict or he was being chased by someone. Either way, he was dangerous.

Afraid that a commotion would happen, Hikomi showed him her room upstairs that she uses. After she closed the door she went downstairs and sat on a chair. The door swung open once again and 3 men came in. She looked to them and smiled.[/size][/color][/i]

[size=1]"Hmm. We don't need no drinks. We just want to know where a certain person went. Did anyone suspicious come in here?"[/size]
[size=1][color=ff66cc]"Well, if you call dark, tall, mysterious, and handsome suspicious then yes. Someone suspicious did come in."[/size][/color]
[size=1]"...ok. Well I guess our guy didn't come here. Let's go. There's nothing to see here."[/size]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]As the three men were leaving, Ace and King made their way back and started to growl at them, as did Luna. Veritas was staring at them with a ice cold stare. They just looked at the animal and smirked. Then they left.

Hikomi went upstairs and opened the door to find the mystery man's mask off. She wondered where he went and as she closed the door, the guy grabbed her and held her by the neck with a knife at her throat. Hikomi chuckled. She wasn't scared like other people would be. She's had too many frightening moments to even think that this could be frightening.[/size][/color][/i]

[I]Thank goodness, I'm finally outside.[/I]

It seemed like forever the knock to her head kept her a little dizzy but she was able to sustain it ans just moved slowoly. Luckily she had also grabbed a staff in odred to staey her as she walked along outside.

Although not particularly bright, the day seemed to carry a sort of hope with it. Hope that Renie and Sariyah were fine. Lorien still blamed herself though for Renie capture and knew she had to find a way to make herself more helpful for the town.

She walked along and saw a few people busying themselves with chores. She called out to them and they waved back. Wondering about her friends she decided to wonder off to the tavern to see what was going on in that area.

Whe she got to the door. She opened it and walked in.

Lorien: Hello, Kell, Claudio, you guys here.

No on answered and she stepped in the door to sit down. Before her stood Hikomis animals who seemed to be keeping watch on the door.

Lorien: Hey Ace, King, and Luna, where's Hikomi.

The three animals although nice to her sensed a bit of danger and ran to the back. Veritas, now sitting on the bar counter let out a quick cry and Lorien went off to the back.

She followed the animals but was sure to be quiet and heard them backing upstairs. They went to Hikomi's door but saw it was closed and started to stract at it.

Lorien bypassed the animals and slowly opened the door. Before she could do anything else Luna quickly sprang through the door and jumped and grabbed the mystery man's hand making him drop the knife. In the process thogh, she knocked both Hikomi and the man over but kept a grip on the, now knife-less hand. Ace and King also bolted inside and stood over the man and growled loudly. Lorien was quickly behind them and rushed over to thier side.

Lorien: Are you okay Hikomi?

Hikomi: Yeah I am, but I could have still handled thing is you didn't show up.

Lorien : I don't doubt that.

Lorien put out a hand and helped Hikomi up from the ground. The animals now hovered over the man. He was howling in pain due to the panthers bite, but didnt move.

???: Tell this damned cat to let go of my hand, NOW!!!!

Hikomi: First things first. Tell me who you are and why you tried to hurt me?[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[size=1][color=ff66cc]"First of all, Luna is not a stupid feline. She is one of the smartest, fastest, strongest, and ferocious cats you will ever encouter. Now, your name is Astario and why did you try to kill me?"[/size][/color]
[size=1]"You have something I want. That bird knows all. It can lead me to the greatest treasure."[/size]
[size=1][color=ff66cc]"You mean, Veritas? That bird does know all. But it will never go to you. Now, I ask you to leave. I saved you from those men. They are bound to be back and when they do, I assure you, I will let them take you. Understood? Now leave."[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Astario walked out of the room and went downstairs. Ace and King were at his heels. Veritas was still sitting where it was and Luna was behind Lorien and Hikomi. Soon, when Astario, Lorien, and Hikomi were downstairs he turned and bid them farewell. Hikomi glared at him as he left. She walked over to Luna and checked her teeth. They were fine. She walked over to Veritas and petted him. She knew that Veritas was very valuable, but didn't think someone would kill her for him.[/size][/color][/i]

[Kill All Trends]

[i]Ceda's conversation continued with the girl for a while. Her parents died a few months ago, she had been living alone, like him. The girl gave herself a name, Cassie. He decided he was going to stay in her house, to keep her company, he wasn't moving around anytime soon.

Ceda left for a short while, the girl was sleeping, he was going to Main Street, close to the park.[/i]

Lorien quickly sat down and asked for a drink.

Hikomi: You look very ill and weak, why are you outside?

Lorien: Okay now I don't need you to be my mother too. But Im surprised you dont know.

Hikomi went back to Veritas after getting Lorien a drink of water.

Lorien: Know what? Last night I heard a lot of commotion but I was not looking on the matter.

As Lorien tried to relax as much as possible she relayed the whole story of the snakeskin bandits coming into town. Also of the kisnapping of Renie and the party trying to find them and retrieve her.

Hikomi: And now you are out against your brothers will because?


Lorien laughed at Hikomi's expression.

Lorien: I cant believe you dont know my attitude by now. I've done so much work for this tiwn how could you think this would keep me down.

Hikomi: Thats probably why it happened. You need to rest.

Lorien looked at Hikomi who now tended to Ace and King. She kneeled down to the dogs and studied them carfeully. The stood back up and retrieved a few things from behind the bar. She came back around and gave the animals a bit of water.

Hikomi: Now I'm not saying you deserved the beating but you work way to hard to be only...20 right?

Lorien nodded.

Hikomi: You need to relax thought?

Lorien: I guess you're right?

The two stopped speaking for a moment when an unesy quiet came about them. Lorien restarted the conversation.

Lorien: What do you thik he meant that Veritas would lead him to a treasure.

Hikomi: Thats is one thing I do not know, but either way I think he will try to return.

Aurora stood at the wall with her tiger (I haven't decided what to name it yet >_<). She peered into the city for one quick look to make sure nothing was wrong. There were a few men looking around from house to house. (the same as the ones that were in Hikomi's house)

"what are you men looking for?"
"a killer on the loose," (if you don't want him to be a killer then just change it)"have you seen anyone suspitous (sp)?"
Aurora thought about it. The man in the bar earlier in the day kind of seemed so. "possibly"
"what do you mean by "possibly"?!"
"maybe I've seen one, but he didn't seem the killing type. but then again, I could be wrong"
"forget it, this woman knows nothing at all"
as they walked off Aurora yelled: "I do know all of things!!"
her tiger growled at them

as she stood there at her night job, she pondered at everything that had happened today. it was somewhat of an odd day to her.

Oh, by the way, Dorolin is more the silint type most of the time, (And he dosn't realy tell people he is a bounty hunter, he just happins to be one, [b]some times[/b], and thats what people think)But its all good...


Dorolin wasn't at all used to riding with two people on one horse, but he delt for most of the ride after the badints, untill he heared the galloping of hoves from up the path. At this point, he siply scrabled up, (skilfuly balinced on the back of the horse) and leaped onto a low hanging tree branch, he was off through the trees befor the others had noticed, but he was moveing just with in sight of the group, so no one said anything.
In the trees Dorolin moved surpisingly fast, fast enough to keep pace with the swiftly galloping horses, but then again, he was half elf, so, speed and agilaty were two of his strong points. The group slowed as they approched the fleeing badint, Dorolin shot an arrow across the horse's nose, causing the creature to rear slitly, and stop suddinly, then Dorolin disapered into the trees...
