[font=comic sans ms][color=sienna][b][i]OCC: I'm new charecter here. Sorry for not posting for some time. I'm playing a dwarf/hobbit, craftsman Ggedi.

He fastened his pace, woodlands used to be home to him. A safe place. Now the trees seemed threatening. Couple of times he thought he heard distant voices and heygh's of horses. This added to his fear. what ever these voices were(even if just figments of his imagination) they didn't sound welcoming. He needed to get to the Black Haven as soon as possible.

Finaly he came in site of the town gate. From the point he was looking only rooftops were vissible behind the wall. Tails of smoke were coming from some of the chimneys. Ggedi hoped the town was as peaceful as it looked from the first glance. When he reached the town gate he took a minute before knocking hard on it...[/font][/color][/b][/i]

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Hikomi looked to Ace, King, Luna, and Veritas. Then she looked to Lorien. Hikomi got up and walked to the stairs. Ace and King's head lifted. Hikomi layed out her hand in midair and dropped it slowly, telling the dogs to lie down.

Hikomi climbed the stair and entered her room. The knife still sat on the ground. She walked over to her temporary closet and opened it. Inside she had her street clothes, party clothes, and formal clothes. She grabbed her street clothes, which were a black sleeveless tunic (like a tank top), black pants, black boots, her belt that has a sheath to hold her broad sword, and a black hair tie.

Hikomi came downstairs. Lorien eyed her strangely.[/i][/color]

[color=teal]Lorien: What are you doing, where are you going, why are you dressed like that, and why do you have a weapon?[/color]

[color=ff66cc]Hikomi: I am closing the Tavern/Inn since Kell is not here. I am not going anywhere. You and I are going to stay here to protect this place. Just in case someone tries to take money or something. This is one of the many outfits that I wear when I am not working. My broadsword is here to protect me, in case anyone tries to fight.

[i]Lorien eyed her strangely yet again, but then thought nothing of it. She put her feet on the table and leaned back in her chair, which was against a wall.

Ace came over and tugged at Hikomi's pants. Hikomi looked down and knew that the animals were hungry. She walked to the back room and checked to see if any fresh meat was around. Luckily 4 big pieces of cow were there. She gave one to Ace, one to King, and two to Luna. Veritas eyed the room and saw a rat running across the room. He flew straight to it and caught it in its mouth. Hikomi smiled and let them eat.

She looked out to the door and it started to rain. She wondered about the treasure that Astario was looking for and wondered about the strange men that were looking for him. Nothing was going right at this moment.[/size][/color][/i]

Both Lorien and Hikomi had nothing to say to each other for a moment and just sat back in the tavern thinking. As she went into hr memories she began to remember her childohood with Sariyah and Renie. She rembered Renie having crush on her brother which made her laugh to herself, then flashed to memories of her brother picking on her, then turning around to protect her.
He always was like that and could only think of him a bit more. Since they had left their home he became more like a father thana broher which had its disadvantages. She soon shifter her thoughts to other things. ANd hunger began to creep in her mind and belly.

"Um, Hikomi, is there anything good for me to snack on?"[/COLOR]

"Um I'm not sure I just gave the animals the last bit of meat unless you want fruit or something, I can search."[/COLOR][COLOR=teal]
"Don't worry about it I can go to the house and get something and bring it back, besides it'll be dark soon and if I don't return the Charles will go nuts.

Hikomi sat down again and waited a momnt before responding.

[COLOR=deeppink] I don't think you should leave just yet. He may be waiting to attack and if he attacks you as you are...." [/COLOR]

Hikomi stopped before finishing her words. Lorien knew what soul come out and she lnew that she cou;d not withstand another attack.

"Okay I'll just wait then."

She sat on again in silence and just looked around the tavern to keep her my busy and off her stomach.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[i]Kell leaned against the wall, sitting straight up in bed, breathing deeply. Her finer senses shut down, leaving her with nothing but the instincts. Then she quietly slipped into bed next to Claudio, eyes shut to prevent the cat-like glow.

Then she turned over and began to breathe deeply. As she did so she felt, rather than heard words being spoken. She sat up, silently, the sheets rustling ever so slightly. The cats outside had stopped purring. She slid ever so slightly and landed on the ground on all fours. Then she prowled out the window and perched. The animals all looked up at her, eyes glimmering. She opened her own and followed their gaze. Then she ducked. The assassin's arrow went right over her head and lodged itself into the wooden panneling. Like a whipcrack the animals scattered into the shadows and she had hit the ground. Then she jumped. The snake had already caught the heat and given chase.

Within moments, she heard an agonised cry and followed it. A drow. She should've seen the red eyes. A drow assassin. After Kell? Her? She had nothing left to do but take his weapons. Assassin's arrows, like these, were definetly worth taking. The snake had already gotten him good. Claudio was still asleep, luckily, and the animals had made absolutely no noise. Gotta love those thick feather quilts.[/i]

[i]She slunk into bed and Claudio opened one eye. He smiled, and closed it again.[/i][/COLOR]

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Hikomi got up and looked outside. She could see that the streets grew darker. She walked over to Lorien and tapped her.[/i]

"Lorien, I think it's safe to go. Take Luna with you. She'll keep you safe. It's been an hour since you've been waiting. I think he's gone, but if he's not...then...Luna will get him."

[i]Lorien stood up and nodded. Luna walked to her side and they both left.

Hikomi watched the two leave. She turned back and walked over to where she was sitting. She hoped that Luna and Lorien would be ok. If anything should happen, though, Luna would protect Lorien. She was sure of it. The one thing she wasn't so sure of is Astario.[/i]

"If he wants Veritas, he's going to have to kill for him or better yet, get through me. No one takes my precious ones away from me...not even a con like Astario."[/color][/size]

Lorien and Luna left the tavern quickly. They stood out in the cool night air listening intently for anyon wandering around them. They began to walk and saw or heard no one and slowed their quickened pace.

Luna walked behind Lorien as to keep a constant watch over Lorien. Lorien seeing that everything was okay asked Luna to be by her side. The pather quickly caught up but stayed ever vigilant of her surroundings.

Soon they made it to Lorien's house. Luna stayed right beside the door as Lorien entered the house. Moments later she came back with a note. She tied it around Luna front leg but she quicly protested.

"Okay now girl, I know you don't like to be tied down period, but I think it better here than around you neck. So please deliver this for me, its for Hikomi."

Luna's protests deminshed and after she fastened the note Lorien sent Luna on her way.

"Be safe Luna, I'll see you."

She entered the house and went into the kitchen.

"FOOD!!"

Back at the tavern, Hikomi heard scrathes on the door. She opened up and saw Luna enter, she quickly closed the door behind her and noticed Luna biting at the note wrapped around her leg.

She quickly loosened the wrap and read the note from Lorien.

Hikomi,

Thank you very much for allowing Luna to escort me home. I like her very much. Also I'll be home for the night and I hope that all goes well at the tavern, be careful. But I realy do hope that you decide to come over here. I have plenty of room and be sure to bring Ace, King, Veritas, and of course Luna. I'll stay up for a few more hours and hope to see you. If not becareful and don't open the tavern for anyone, and I mean just that.

Claudio walked groggily down the stairs to the tavern. Kell was asleep and he was restless. He yawned and stretched, scratching his chest. He stopped when he saw people in the tavern.

[b]Claudio-[/b] "What the hell? The tavern is closed. Or did you pay no attention to the notice posted on the door. Get out. I don't care who you are, out. Now!" The small amount of people filed out of the tavern rather quickly. Claudio grumbled to himself and began cleaning up the assortment of dishes that were deposited around the room.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Hikomi stood against the door and thought she'd go over to Lorien's. She grabbed her bag and her sword and got Veritas, Ace, King, and Luna.

The 4 walked through the dead of the night while Veritas perched on Hikomi's shoulder. They soon were at the door of Lorien's. Hikomi knocked on the door and Lorien answered.[/i][/color]

[color=teal]"Hey! Come on in. I kind of knew that you would come so I got an extra pillow and blanket. As for Ace, King, and Luna they get those little beds. Veritas can sit on wherever he wants. And if you want food, I got some."[/color]
[color=ff66cc]"Thanks, Lorien. I'm sorry if we're bothering you. Right, now I just got kicked out of my living area, so I need a place to crash. I brought my clothes here. Tomorrow, I'm going to find a place to live. So, I'll be out of your hair as soon as possible."[/color][/size]

Lorien was actuallt happy they all came by. She wanted someone else in the house with her since Sariyah left. In a way Hikomi took his place. She showed them to a room in which all the animals could stay wuth her. She didn't want to seperate Hikomi and the animals for she knew they wouldn't go and as she and Hikomi settled for a few drinks she began the comversation with pleasant talks.

"So, how do you like it so far? I mean the room and all."

"Its comfortable but if King and Ace settle in it too long they may not want to leave. They love the outdoors and stuff but they take to quickly to the luxuries of man."[/COLOR] [COLOR=teal]

"I see," she started but began to turn to another conversation.
"So why did you really come here? Did Claudio kick everyone out?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=deeppink]

"Yeah a few people came by after you left and he came down stairs and demanded them to leave, even me."[/COLOR] [COLOR=teal]

"Well," Loriens said putting her glass down. "Your welcome here for as long as it need be."[/COLOR] [COLOR=deeppink]

"And I thank you but as I said we won't be here for too long."[/COLOR]

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc]Hikomi turned her attention to Ace and King. They scratched at the door and Lorien looked to them and got up and let them out, as well as Veritas and Luna.

Hikomi smiled and watched as they ran outside and palyed with each other. Veritas came back and perched himself onto Hikomi's shoulder.

She turned her attention back to Lorien and sighed.[/i]

"I got evicted and I need a place to live. Do you know of a place where I can stay and call my own?"[/color]
[color=teal]"Well, there's this house right beside mine that's for sale! It's only 300.00."[/color]
[color=ff66cc]"That's great! I wonder if they allow pets, wait..for sale? Wow, that is great! I'm glad I talked to you!"[/color][/size]
