Guest pantalaimon
I have a extreme irrational fear of wasps wenever i see one i have to run away can anybody help me and do you have any phobias of strange things.:D
Transtic Nerve
I don't think anyone can help you from onver the internet. A Phobia is a mental thing that usually peoplehave to deal with themselves. Either get hypnotized or confront your fears. Anywya, I have acrophobia.... which is fear of heights. I usually don't ride roller coasters because of this but I've recently gotten over it.... I also have a case of social anxiety disorder, which really isn't a phobia, more of a chemical inbalance or something...
erinzyger
I'd say that the best way for you to get over your fear is to face it. And like TN said, hypnotizm is another option, but that doesn't always work. Some people are, how should I put this, immune to hypnotism. Actually, I'm afraid of getting shots. It's the needles that scare me. I almost got over it when I got my tonsils removed ((they asked me if I wanted the IV now or later)), but I chickened out at the last moment. I have something else, but it's more of a paranoia than a phobia. If I'm awake and alone late at night ((which I usually am)), and I need to go upstairs, I'll be scared to go down the dark hallway because I think there is something that will get me if I go into the dark. I'm constantly ((sp?)) looking over my shoulder and rushing down the stairs and hallway at night, just so I can get out of the dark. :) I'm sure I'll get over it soon though.

Guest dayday
No, actually the shadows might be real. I haven't looked at your profile yet but people can see ghosts and spirits moving around. Most see it when they're young, that's why babies would be scared to go in a certain place since they see things in it. I don't think someone could help your phobia. Pretend it's a bee or something then. I don't know of anything that I might have. I looked through half the A's on this site. I saw fear of men twice. O_O I doubt I have that. Semjaza
It must be some sort of ghost. There's no such thing as real shadows that move lol. I think all I have is Newbiphobia. The fear of strange newbies. Of course, the majority aren't bad.
Kei
I've got a bad case of aracniphobia. Every time I see a spider, I'll go far out of my way to avoid it. God forbid one lands on me. --; But I suppose I have a bit of pantophobia (or the fear of everything) as well. Why is beyond me. I guess because of all the bad experiences I've had as a young child. *shrugs* I'll get over it eventually.
Emme888
I'm still a newbie....*head hangs down* I'm afraid of failure. Weird I know, but I HATE to lose at anything, and whenever I do I mentally beat myself up for it.(like big time, mental beating up) Making sure I work that much harder the next. I'm weird, get use to it! Try and go seek some professional help, like a shrink! that'll help you...good luck!
Vertigo
The closest thing I have to a phobia is that I get seriously distressed around vomit. If I just see it like, on the street or something, I'll be a little freaked out, but I see someone throwing up, or someone's vomit in particular, I get really, really nervous, almost start shaking, and can't focus on anything. My heart races and I literally can't think straight. I've had this since I was a little kid, and I've never known why. But, for your fear, there are ways to help. I just don't know what they are. If it's really bad, try seeing someone about it.

::muffles giggle:: I don't think that I have any true phobias, just little ones that cause me to get scared. I am scared of loud noises, and after hearing a loud noise I'm often skittish for a while after. I'm also afraid of being home alone, but that was only when I lived with my parents because our house was so big. I have a constant fear that a black widow is going to bite me when I'm not looking. And finally, I have a fear of loved ones dying. That could be a diagnosed phobia, I suppose.

Sara
Somehow, I doubt you're going to have to worry about that one. Here's a one for Tony and the other people who will probably take the time to look it up: cainotophobia. I have some weird habits, and can get freaked out when things aren't right, but I don't know what I'd diagnose myself as, heh. My friends call me neurotic. In a loving, thoughtful way, of course.

Dragon Warrior
I'm claustrophobic (sp?) and aquaphobic. Yeah, that's right. I hate water. Weird, huh? Wanna fight about it? It has a lot to do with the many "come-close-to-drowning" experiences I've had. I know how to swim, I'm just like a cat, though. BAD WATER! Kitty
I'd have to say that I'm... i think it's Arachnaphobic... i could've spelled it wrong though... Anywayz, that means i'm afraid of spiders. I like water, but too much, like goin' too far out in the ocean, will spook me out. I'll hide somewhere far away to make sure i don't have to get too close to water. I'm like a cat too!! :p So, in other words... I'm not afraid of much. There. I think that answers that. Laterzez!!! ~=^o.o^= <... Meow?...>~
SpikeSpiegel
i have aracniphobia(sp?). its not bad but i get the chills when i see a big spider. that movie fudged me up as well. i also have a fear of heights, but since im a speed demon i love roller coasters...cant get enough of'em, unless there the tallest in the park..u know those stupidly tall ones. i dont ride those. my greatest fear by far is becoming my dad. i hate the fact that i inherited so much of his traits. that one alone pushes me to go farther no matter what i feel like. other than that i'm a normal person...but that depends on what is normal to you... Kevin
Wow, I feel really pathetic... Where to begin, well, I have a mild fear of heights. I don't like climbing ladders, but I enjoy plane rides. I also am afraid of deep water. When I was a little child, I was at my local public pool. I was sitting at the edge of the 6' back when I as only around 4' something and out of nowhere, a kid thought he would be funny and push me in. I almost drowned, not too pleasent. I don't enjoy bees or wasps. I just don't like getting stung. And finally, I have a fear of needles. Something about a piece of metal being gouged into my skin and into my vein is very disturbing in my opinion.
