You need to scare it out of her. Show her non poisonous spiders. You have to convince her that they aren't bad. That or dangle a fake one over her face when she wakes up.
That would be very cruel.

Well i'm proud to say there's not many things i'm scared of but I do have like 2 things that I have phobia's about....

1) Spiders. I hate those things. I'm what you would really call scared of them I just really, really hate'em.
2) Snakes. Not only am I scared of them I also hate'em with a passion. If it was up to me I'd get rid of them all. I once beat the hell out of my cousin for putting a grass snake in my face at a family reunion.

So there ya go.. that's my phobia's.

That sucks. But it's funny. Then, put her hand in a jar of the buggers, similar to that of warm water. Better yet, do both.

Actually Lumi this might help you out more. I wrote earlier that I was once afraid of spiders, but I eventually over came the fear. What I would do is when ever I saw a baby spider on a counter (or something) I would gently push it on to my hand.

If it started to crawl off my hand I then put my other hand underneith it to catch it. After a while I would take it to a corner or something and let it crawl up the wall to do what ever it pleased.

So now I'm not afraid of them any more. Of course your sister has to be willing to do this on her own. If she dosen't then she will always be afraid of them. Their are however other ways to over come this fear.

One way involves virtual reality where the person is in a virtual house and is put into different situations involving spiders. This is unfortunately very expensive and I only know of one person who is doing this technique. So you might want to find another way help her deal with her fear. ;)

I have lots of phobias and fears. Hmm... I think my biggest ones are the dark (yes, poor Weh), dark forests (hate forests ><), ventriloquists' dummies, being alone, Death, wasps/hornets and failing. I think I have like.. some kind of acute claustrophobia, I hate small spaces. I also am slightly unnerved by clowns.. they freak me out.

Well besides being paranoid, my only real fear is of losing myself or being trapped in my own body. I don't know why, but it freaks me out that I might get amnesia or fall into a coma. I don't know the name of either of these phobias but they're not serious. Too bad they aren't, a padded room sounds pretty nice right now. That way, They won't be able to get me...

EDIT: I looked through that phobia site and I found one of the names of my phobias. It's Amnesiphobia. I also found a new phobia of mine. Bolshephobia. I don't know what a Bolshevik is, but it scares me. O_o Also, they have some pretty funny phobias on that site. Dutchphobia sounds made up, and I just find it funny that the name for the fear of long words is a long word itself. How are people with Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia going to find out what phobia they have?

*reads post* Boy, I used the word "phobia" a lot. Do I get an award for that?

I'm a coward.
I'm afraid of heights, I'm afraid of suffocating (which makes me afraid of tight places), I'm afraid of the dark (I'm 13... Don't kids get over that when they're like 10 or something?), I'm afraid of people coming into my house, I'm (very) afraid of being wrong or being embarrassed, and I'm afraid of hospitals.
My fear of heights is really bad. 3 years ago I was TERRIFIED of sliding down the fireman's pole on the school's play structure. How high was that pole? 4 FEET! I go back and I'm STILL afraid of going down that dinky pole.
My claustrophobia makes playing hide and seek very hard...
The only reason I'm afraid of the dark is because when I go into a place that I can't see what's really there, my imagination makes it up for me. What was that rustle!? Oh my god! It's some freaky guy waiting in the bamboo to jump out and KILL ME (when it's really a stupid possum). And what are those footsteps? ACK! It's another guy with and even BIGGER knife (the footsteps are mine...). Did I just see something move??? GOD NO! It's that monster from the X-Files (it's a freaking bush)!!!
I don't like strangers, especially strangers with friends. I don't like it when they look at me either. What if they know where I live!? Oh no... This is leading to... A BURGLARY! When I try to go to sleep every night, the old house makes some odd noises. Some rat is always scurrying around the roof or something, and I can hear the next-door neighbour walking down his little cement path. This freaks me out to no end! I always think this lanky dude in black is going to sneak into my tiny little room and take my computer (not the computer!!!!!!!).
I also HATE being wrong. This makes me look stupid. I loathe it when my teacher says my name and..."What's 7x6???" Ummm... Um... "You should've learned your times tables in 3rd grade like everybody else!" *sob* Why do they have to say that!? It makes me look so retarded!!!
Hospitals! I shudder at the word... Last year in October I had a PAINFUL, 8-hour back surgery. Intensive care was HELL! Thanks to the sleeping drugs (is it called anesthesia?) all my muscles and organs were sluggish and I had to learn to sit up, stand, and walk all over again (look Mom! I'm walking, take a picture!Mama!).

The time in the hospital has a plus, though. Now That I've been through that buttload of PAINNNNN I'm not so afraid of getting hurt anymore. Needles? No problem! Put out this candle with my fingers? Okay! Wanna fight? BRING IT ON, PUNK!

I can't think of anything that is a great fear to me. I can think of a million things that shake me up but none that I fear ultimitly. Wait... This isn't a phobia nor just being afraid of a certain species. My grandma has a dog that she got from the police office. (Well she has to.) They got thrown out for attacking their trainer.(They are also rot whielers.) One day my grandma was cleaning out the dog that almost killed it's owner.(His name was Gustan.) He was on a chain and the dog is extremely strong. I walked by the chain and said, "Hey Gustan" The dog whent wild and tried to kill me, litterally. He broke the chain and ran at me.I looked at him and cussed pretty loud. I had a plant pot in my hand that I threw at his head. He turned around and killed a goose near the pond. Later while he was in his cage he started to try to tear the wall down. trying to get to me. I walked up to the cage and yelled at the top of my lungs, "Gustan shut up!" Ever sence then he has only growled at me.

So I guess it is possible to conquer fears. Normally you just need help from friends like force someone on a roller coaster and tell the guy at the button to hurry up and press it. (Muhaha.)

And Noirrac, I'm sure that if you practice your landing skills, you can jump off roofs in no time.

Naru! Can we be friends? I HATE THE SNUGGLE BEAR!!!!!!! HE SCARES THE LIVING SOUL OUT OF ME!! Even when I was a little kid..He's all creepy holding his arms out and stuff! My mother bought me the stuffed animal once and I had the worst nightmares of that damned thing chasing me!

Another thing that scares me is swimming in ponds, lakes, rivers, creeks any body of water where I am enable to see past my waist..I dont know why but I just can't do it..it scares the **** out of me...so I have to swim in pools (or the bath tub with my floaties, hehehehe, I'm joking)....

I too see things I cant explain out of the corner of my eye, so dont feel bad..that's what leads up to this, I dont like being by myself in unfamiliar territory or the dark..

It's not a phobia but it's what I think I have, momma says I dont but I think I have a slight borderline or bipolar disease..I make a big deal out of a little thing(sometimes, just depends on what it is) and I can be fine and happy at one moment and then the next I can sink into a depression mode(again, depends on the situation most of the time)

I have a fear of any and all flying insects. Irrational, I know, but I can't help it. If a bug flys anywhere near me, I swing whatever is in my hands at it and start shaking. To date, I haven't seriously injured anyone but most people try to keep away just in case.
