FF5-X-Death: An evil black mage FF6-Kefka: A man that wants to rule the world FF7-Sephiroth or Jenova or both: They want the death of all humans and Cetra FF8-Ultimacia: An evil sorceress trying to create a world of time compression FF9-Kuja: Im not really sure of his motives FF10-Sin or Seymour or Yu Yevon- They all want everyone to die As for my my favorite enemy its Sephiroth becuase of the way he dresses, his cool weapon and cold attitude. Desbreko
In FFIV, it's Zemus/Zeromus. Zeromus is Zemus' hatred manifested as a living being, and it's what you actually fight as the end boss. And I'm not sure, but I think the end boss of FFI is Chaos. Don't really know the story, but I think I've heard that somewhere. As for my favorite end boss, that'd be Kefka from FFVI. Might've been Zemus/Zeromus, but you never actually get to see his personality or anything. Kefka, however, I find both the most amusing and the most evil. I mean, he's this cruel madman that actually succeeds in taking over the world, not to mention changing around the landscape of the entire planet and releasing hordes of nasty monsters in the process. He stops at nothing to attain his goals, no matter it involves. (I'd give some examples, but I don't want to spoil anything). And for the amusing part, you really just have to see it for yourself. He made me laugh more than a few times over the course of the game.
GinnyLyn
Don't we have a thread about this already somewhere? *is too tired to look right now* Mweh, my opinion is in that thread. I'm off to sleep. SPA-HAM. *cough* Add something to this post to make it valid, there ain't another thread on page uno. -Break
Sandy
I just have to inform everybody that I have rebought FF8, and since I'm now playing it properly, I'm beginning to like it! :D (at least more than the first time, when I didn't even make it to the end...) This leads conveniently to my favorite villain, sorceress Edea!
Althought she wasn't really evil at all, but just possessed by Ultimecia
, her appereance was just so... ominous! Everytime she "entered the stage", I gasped of admiration (or something). Especially the parade at Galbadia was one of the high points of the game. Plus, she is among the very few female FF-villains, which makes her extra special. She is certainly something else than the male villains, such as Sephy. I also have to admit that Kefka's (FF6) madness appealed to me, in a very similar way as it did to Des. Seifer was just a big jerk, and I didn't really understand Sephiroth or Kuja (so what if you're different - why do you have to go all crazy and bloodlusty from it?!), and that just about covers all the FF-games I've played. GrimmFang
Mine would be Sephiroth from FF7. I don't know his personality just grabbed me and never let go. As for Kuja (This is a spoiler by the way)
he was just selfish he figured if his life was running out he wanted to take everyone with him.
If something's a spoiler, you can put [spoiler][/spoiler] around the text to black it out, which I did for this post. Just so you know in the future. :) - Desbreko Thanks I always wondered how to do that.
Zanarkand Abes
While Ultimacea was pretty cool, my favorite has to be Sin, because I love the complexity of the story and the twists anfd turns his story takes.
Dagger
Much as I love Sephiroth, I liked Kuja better.... mainly because his motives were more human. Sephiroth wanted to take over the world, while Kuja just didn't want to die alone. Also, I found Kuja a more interesting and complex character (especially because of what happens between him and Zidane at the very end). Sephiroth, on the other hand, is rather insane. His life story is pretty tragic, but in the game itself, he's a pretty one-dimensional character. ~Dagger~
OlgaTheDwarf
Originally posted by The (Sic) Shape FF10-Sin or Seymour or Yu Yevon- They all want everyone to die
I would have to disagree with you,
Yu Yevon didn't want everyone to die. If he had wanted everyone to die he could have done it at anytime, instead he just let the, kill, destroy, let the people rebuild, repeat, cycle continue on. He wasn't even evil (amust for any good bad guy) , at least that's what the fayth say. Also Sin was just Yu Yevon's machine so he was not the bad guy. The only person you lst that I think is worthy enough to be could a "bad" guy, but alas he wasn't because he was never in a position where he was truely ever threat to the human race, plus he just wasn't the final bad guy. Anyhoo, Yu Yevon was the bad guy and the ruining factor of FFX in my oppinion.
Zanarkand Abes
Well,
Sin can be considered a bad guy, because he did all the destroying and killing. If he was merely Yu-Yevon's machine, he could have easily let Tidus kill him, remember that Jecht was sin. And Sin really isn't a machine anyway. He was the final Aeon that got taken over, so in that light, I guess I could see why Sin might not be considered a bad guy.
Hmmm, I must go and ponder this some more. Mei
My fav, I must agree with Des, Kefka forever! Lord I LOVE that man! He's hilarious, but evil. A menacing little man, with the silliest sayings. His quotes will forever stay in my heart, he's just such a classic villian, except, like Des says, he suceeds in the majority of his motives! There's just so much to like about him.^^() My secondary would have to be Kuja, he's just so darn...diabolical. He's intelligent, but extremly self centered and egotistical.
James
I don't really have a favourite...but a few that are notable. Sephiroth is notable because he is so unpredictable...and basically, he's so psychotic. lol You almost feel sorry for him during certain parts of the story, because he's quite a tragic character. I also think Edea is notable, because she's female...but she is also very cool. She's beautiful and very graceful...that doesn't necessarily make her a good villain, but yeah...she was cool for some reason. Perhaps the fact that you don't hear her talk in any cutscenes (which is true for all the characters), only adds to her mystery. She just gets that nasty look. Other than that, I don't know. I thought Kuja was utterly laughable -- what a dork. He was a guy who wore red feathers and a pink g-string. Regardless of him as a personality, I still thought he was a dork. Anway, he wasn't even the final fight so their is one more strike against him.
Shinmaru
Kefka, no contest. Sephiroth is undeniably cool but...he's just so flat. He basically says the same stuff throughout the entire game. He only really benefits from looking like a total badass. Kefka is a much more rounded villain, in my opinion. He's seems so goofy in the beginning, but then evolves into a power hungry madman
once he gets a taste of the powers of the Espers. And, as said before, he actually succeeded in taking over the world; how many villains can you say really did that, huh?
And James is right: Kuja is a dork. A prissy, little dork. Guest Jessica_Halo
I like Sephiroth... I don't know if it's because he killed Aeris XD or because hes just so... Evil... So what if he wanted to destroy the world... At least he wasn't a meglomaniac like Kefka, given, he did end up ruling the world... He does have a hilarious laugh though! Pagan
Sephiroth is the hardest villian to beat in all the FF games to me. I have never beat him with cheating. He looks so cool and is really powerful. He might be a little crazy but that makes him even better. Kefka comes in a close second because of his true evilness. He is more evil then Sephiroth but I can beat him though so he isn't as tough.
Dragonstar
:D I loved Sephiroth, maybe it's just cos FFVII was the first RPG I played, but no other villain seems to match up to him, ok, Edae was creepy, and what she does to Squall >_< *ouch* but Sephiroth had more personally than any other villain. Kuja sucked as a villain, I'm still not entirely sure of his motives and FFIX doesn't make any sense to me.
Yevvon
was a poor villain simply because of how easy he was to beat.
Seymour
was good, ok, so he sounds like Chris Eubank, and he's annoying as hell, but he had character. And you kinda regret killing him. (almost) Kefke just made me laugh, although that face make up is creepy... when you see him in the FMV on the PS1 re-release, yikes  As for Brahne... *shudder* O_o She was just gross... Bremma
Id would have to go with Kefka... that laugh will live on in my mind for eternity. Plus he was developed very well. And earlyint he game, he acted like a typical bad guy, always running off at the last minute. And did I mention the laugh? Also, from FFVI, Ultros! Who can forget our little octopus friend? hellfire78
i think kefka is the best villain because he is pure evil.chaos from ff1 was not realy evil and zeromus came close. sepheroth realy isnt all that great .sepheroth is all everyone always talks about but he realy doesnt scare me. but on the other hand kefka scares me because hes so evil. Asim
I think ff8's seifer Almasy is the best , he is always in somekind of conflict with Squall , his character comes of evil and complex , but really he is kind of a evil/good guy , any way his intentions are vague , and he is torn by confusion , mayhem , he has to be the best . Asim , but call me ( the frost duke ) Anyone wants to join me in world conquest , join me now .

Kuja is indeed a dork. *shudders* Somebody needs a fasion make over. Sephiroth is cool, but not evil. He's twisted, but not evil. UNpredictable moments freaks me out. Such as
Killing Aerith (I was furious, I maxed out Aeris's limit breaks..... all for NOTHING!!!!!!!
. Oh boy, At the final fight, THe damage I inflicted against him should've been death. The repeated power of knights of the round 2x plus Omnislash compells you :D. For X-2 the main enemy is Le Blanc ( or is it
Vegnagun and Shuin?
)
Sandy
The main enemy of FFX-2 is indeed
Shuyin
, not LeBlanc, who infact
work with the girls to defeat Vegna Gun
. Actually you get to fight against
pretty much all of the main characters at one point (meaning Rikku, Paine, Nooj, Baralai and Gippal) though I'm not sure if they are just illusions...
Well, this post went a bit spoilery...
Heretic_Hatred
I see everyone likes sayin sephiroth, but i as well. Sephiroth is cool for his hate and personality. His weapon is also cool. I've only played FF 4,7,8,9, and 10. Seven was my fav, which leads to the point that sephiroth is my fav FF villain. I havent finished ff4, im on zeromus, but havent tried him yet. But out of the FFs ive played, sephiroth remains at the top of my list.
DeadSeraphim
I like Kuja. For no reason, mind you, he just looks cool when he is in Trance. And the fact that he steals Bahaumet and uses it for his own dastardly deeds. He wasn't nuts either, just completely driven by the need for power. Anyway, yeah, in my opinion, Kuja s**ts all over Sephiroth. For no reason.
