Guest Magdalena
I was bored this morning, and decided to write. This is a possible beginning of an auto-biography I might write. I don't know. Comments and criticism is greatly appreciated. She looks around at the walls engulfing her in her haven with a slight look of satisfaction on her pale face. It looks exactly like the typical teenager's rom: Various rock magazine clippings pollute the pale blue walls, while a controller for a video game lies haphazardly on the floor, the long black cord leading to the small dark box where she spent so much time staring at the television and pressing buttons. Clothing, bought with her hard-earned money, litters the golden wood floors her father spent so much time working upon, giving the family cat many choices of bedding for the evening. Music, that most parents wouldn't dare approve of, blares from a set of black speakers, while CD cases are scattered on the maple dresser. Jen smiles, she has achieved her goal of seeming normal, well-adjusted, and happy. The smile slowly fades as she notices a picture by the television, a family picture it could be technically called. Two blond girls beam at the camera in their red Christmas dresses showing off their new white stockings they had recieved just ten minutes before. Her eyes slowing begin to flood over as she wipes her eyes disdainfully, and try to forget by staring blankly at the cluttered floor. She notices a bottle of shampoo that lay by her backpack, which was all packed and ready for the days of school coming so quickly. Picking up the bottle and inspecting the back, she bores herself with learning the contents of it, and is about to put it back down until she notices a slogan in bold blue letters: "Because everyone is a hair different..." Unable to hold back the tears anymore she sobs. If only they knew. A bit corny, but I wrote it at 4 am.
