Guest vash22
OK THIS IS BS. (if anything i said was said before i didnt reazd all of the posts) first of all. AS pretty much sensors most stuff to keep withing CN standards. Second INUYASHAS WORSE CMON!! that one monk guy does worse things than FLCL!! The worst i saw with FLCL is when the guys dad and that one woman were making out in that bedroom. Mostly it disgusting and funny. Like how the dude get pooped out after he get swallowed by the robot thing. and I NEVER SAW A HEAD BLOW UP!!!!! or porn in it at all none nope. sooooo why do people write crap like that?? its insane Also all that they said didnt happen in one episode. oh and if they say they were naked from the waste up. The only one i can think of somone naked is in i think episode 3 the one where Taku (i think thats the name) get the cat ears. For five seconds the robot is trying to save her and the underwear she is wearing comes off but nothing is shown just the the robot. OOOOHHHHH YA there was nudity in it but censored i think in the last episode in the manga part. his dad says he wants fooly cooly balls and hes naked..... BUT CENSORED CMON WHAT 5 YEAR OLD IS GONNA STAY UP THAT LATE (i ran outa of an argument CRAP)
VashRocks
People stupid enough to let their kids stay up until midnight to watch shows on a programmng block called "Adult Swim" deserve what they get.
Xellos
Not extremists? Talk about hypocritical. If you don't want your kids watching shows like FLCL, don't let them stay up late. Simple solution, ne? They have the warnings, they have it on late, so if they're kids are watching it and they don't like it, I think it's then technically THEIR fault for letting them stay up that late. With the way things seem to be going, they're gonna be suing Scooby Doo over something pretty soon.
Ryu_Sakura
i watch adult swim even though i'm 13, its a bit to much at sertin times like during family guy and futurama, i hate those but i love the animes! and i dont see the point in cartoon network, i mean the fallow the law, and if they take CN away! i only can draw cause Nickalodian is a very stupid baby chanel! Zen
How can you hate Family Guy and Futurama!?! Those shows rule! But on subject. If ADult Swim places parental warnings between shows and has a TV-14 posted in the corner, they have the right to air any show within its content, so she has absolutely no case. IloveBebop
Everybody keeps saying the same things. Aren't there any more things to argue about? How about the fact that this woman might be a poor woman who just wants money from CN? That could be a major factor.

Yes, but is that a justifiable reason to sue Cartoon Network? That sounds like a very desperate move, and if she truly is poor that would be rather pitiable, right? Now she could get money for that, but still.. It's just not right. And if she's poor, how can she afford a lawyer?
VashRocks
Does it actually say anywhere in there she plans to sue CN? Yes, I read the article.
IloveBebop
I don't remember about that. I haven't read the article in a long time. I still think that she is suing, even if there is no "proof." She could defend herself, even though it would be very stupid if she did. You'd need a degree from law school to do so, I think. I don't think that the need for money is the case anymore. We still need something new to argue about.
Itami
If she's so worried about the whole guns thing, why doesn't she protest against Loony Tunes?
IloveBebop
I don't know. Maybe she's just stupid. If adults grew up on Loony Tunes (AKA, a bunch of animal psycopaths trying to kill each other), then why do they protest the things that come on nowadays? Stupid adults, growing up on violence and then protesting it.
Itami
There's such a big lack of good partenting these days it isn't even funny. Parents figure the kids will figure it out themselves, thats why I fear what our generation is going to do when we have one of us as president. But there should be an instant response in kids and adults when they see the words "Adult Swim" Kids should think, "Oh, shouldn't watch this" and change the channel. Parents should say, "Better not let the kids see this." and give them a bed time. In reality though, kid sees it, "Oooooh, cool!" and the adult "Ooooooh, cool!" Parents should get those V-chip things for their TV's so kids don't watch this. They could also take the TV's out of their rooms so they don't have the opportunity to watch these late-night shows. The adult that responds "Oooooh, cool!" and has children, should send their children to their rooms if it's inappropriate for them. An example of this, is when South Park comes on, or if a single parent turns on a porn tape (I know that that's way out of proportion). They should know what right and wrong for children. Gettles
Look at some of the other articals on the page and then notice the all seem to be the same right-wing overly cristian parents. So this shouldn't be much a surprise. And to me it seems more like the woman wanted the rating of FLCL to be raised as it appered as "TV-PG" where she was. Spiker5
I wathch FLCL all the time and this lady is just another person trying to find a fight. CN post those warnings all the time before all the shows. And any way when I watched it I didn't see any nudity or brain blowing.
