Pagan
I was changing the channels the other day and then I saw it, Power Rangers Ninja Storm. I think the makers of Power Rangers are running out of ideas because now they're recycling zoids; I could swear there have already been a falcon and lion zoid. Not only are they recycling stuff but now they're going into other shows tryintg to find new rangers ,like the Beetleborgs they are Power Rangers now using the same costumes and zoids as in their show. They even stole Hamtaru. Haven't there already been Ninja Rangers too. They're recycling and entire show to a whole new generation of children. Ninja Storm was good but it was like watching a rerun of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I stopped watching Power Rangers after the last original was gone I think he was either Tommy or Billy. What do you think is it time for Powers Ranger to let go and just die or should they keep right on remixing the show?

noodleboy
actually it's quite normal for a show to recycle their old ideas...but not all recycled ideas are bad...hehe i can't wait for the new ninja turtles
tattoi nobori
I've read some of the new TMNT comics, and I really like 'em! It's a bit odd to see a comic property that I grew up with handed over to a completely different crew, but so far they're doing a good job with it... I was disappointed that Eastman and Laird weren't going to be involved but..! Such is life. (singing) Of the half-shell, were the heroes four... ?_? Lord Prozen
they've been draging that show on too long. they try hard to keep making it cool but i think they should just let it die. i mean how meny shows have they had now? like 9 differnt things right? they really need to just let it die i think.

Gohan Egret
Any incarnation of Power Rangers after the original and semi-original (shortly after the original 5 were leaving) is spawned by Evil itself and should be destroyed from all records for ever existing. :p ...Or maybe it was after the second movie came out? Yeah, both of those sound near dead-on. ...Or how about the knockoff shows came out? Beetleborgs, one with some dude as a bug in a bug-like car (I forget...), and (more recently) Powerman Tiga (yes?). Either way, Power Rangers should be long gone from the airwaves. :D
kyonen
Well, the first one you can't think of is the Masked Rider. Which I thought was sort of cool, because he fought alone and didn't need no stinkin team. The last one you mentioned is actually an update of the aged Ultraman. By theway I think the worst of all would have to be VR Troopers. *ugh*
Manic Webb
I doubt Power Rangers will be going anywhere. Japan has been making these exact same shows (called Super Sentai) since the 1970s, and they don't seem to be tired of them yet. My guess is that as long as masked people wearing spandex and piloting giant robots is marketable, Super Sentai and Power Rangers will be around. The current PR show, Ninja Storm, is based off of a Japanese show called Hurricanger (or Hurricane Rangers). From what I hear, these Super Sentai are just as corny in Japan as they are when they're made into Power Ranger shows. Somewhere around Power Rangers Turbo or Zeo, I got really tired of the show. I stopped watching. I'd occasionally watch an episode to see what the new Rangers look like, but none of them interested me. That is, until I saw Ninja Storm. There's something about Ninja Storm that I just like. I think it might be the fact that this series is more like Mighty Morphin' than the past few have been. They don't try to be serious, their arsenal is huge, and the fight scenes are just really wacky. I know I won't watch next year's Power Rangers, Dino Thunder. It's one thing to do the ninja thing twice, but I wasn't all that fond of the robots from Zyuranger (Mighty Morphin'), so it doesn't seem all that interesting. Plus they're bringing Tommy back with a different actor.
Nerdsy
The day I stop liking Power Rangers is the day I die. that show has been a major part of my life for the past ten years. I owe them countless hours of entertainment. It's something from my childhood I just can't let go. I don't care if something is corny, corn is good when used right. I love Power Rangers because it captures an innocence. Not everything I watch needs to be all violent, dark, or "mature" for me to like it. Sometimes we all need just a large dose of just some goofing around. For everyone that says Power Rangers has lost it's charm, I dare you to watch Forever Red. I dare you. If you ever appreciated it's charm in the first place, you'll realize they can still pull it out and dust it off when they want to. Yes, they did use a lion before. Once. The Black Lion, of the Thunder Zord. Yeah, there was a red one in Wild Force, but I don't really count that, seeing as there were 100 freaking zords. You'd run out of ideas too. Yes, a falcon has been used, once again with Wild Force. Tigaman and Masked Rider are not ripoffs of Power Rangers. I believe that both of those series started before the original Super Sentai aired in 1975. And no, they aren't a rip-off of each other. Is Die Hard a rip-off of Lethal Weapon? No! Because they are two movies in the same genre. Following the train of thought being used in this thread, every action film ever made is a rip-off of every other action film ever made. Also, the very first toketsu (the name of this particular genre) was Godzilla, so wouldn't all toketsu films just be a rip-off of it? And Big Bad BeetleBorgs was made by the same people as Power Rangers! How can they rip themselves off? I'd also like to know why, just becasue they use a Guinea pig, is it a rip-off of Hamtaro? How many shows have had either a hamster or a Guinea pig in some shape or form? Would any of you let a show that was still profitable die? Yeah, there are the rare few of you who would choose art over money? I know of only one person in this thread who would do it hands down, I think. The rest of you I have serious doubts about. I know I don't think I could do it. Money is a very tempting thing. At Wild Force, Power Rangers had made over 6 billion dollars worldwide, and it was (last I heard) the most succesful children's show ever. And VR Troopers was awesome. I'm also surprised how few people have mentioned the SuperHuman Samurai Cyber Squad. *sings both the theme songs*
