Theo Only thing i'd ever want/need to accomplish before i die is to be at peace with God.

Many things have crossed my mind at one time. Like when you die, your whole life get's replayed before you're taken up, and if that happens, you never know, you might just be watching the replay, you might be already dead :nervous:

Oh, and I meditated on the Idea that we might be taken up to a giant tortoise in the sky, and forced to make cream for eternity too :p .

i never really dwell on it, i also live the day, but the thoughts come to my mind sometimes... i ussualy imagine what it would be like in my funeral if i commited suicide or something, everytime i think of it deifferently, and it doesnt appear to make me sad... for now, i dont really know what i will want to do before i die, might be get married, have a family, keep a legacy, or somehow be rememberd in the pages of history. but i never thought what will happen after i die, maybe because i cant except situations im not used to, or never saw... dont know, i guess ill die when the time for me to die has come...

I don't know why so many of you guys think of this stuff. A good portion of this forum is far younger than me, and you're all just obsessed with death it seems. You, fobidding something bad happens, are likely to live a very long time yet.

I'll think about this stuff when I'm old or on my deathbed. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy what is here and things a human mind can actually truly comprehend.

I have no idea why some of you have such a morbid fascination with death. I am quite a bit older than many of you and it rarely, if ever, crosses my mind. I tend to be more concerned about whether or not I?ll be a good father, if I?ll be happy and successful when I am in my thirties, and if I?ll be able to take a long weekend off of work next weekend.

Dwelling on an uncontrollable aspect of life like death is a huge waste of time. All you can so is make random speculations and there is no way of knowing whether your faith or lack thereof has any validation. If you have to dwell on death, at least dwell on a positive, constructive aspect of it like ?how would others view me if I was to die today??

[i] I have a very hard time trying to figure out what the hell you're saying in your posts..
I don't sit around and contemplate about what the afterlife is going to be, or what death will be like. Why? Because:
1. There are so many unproven theories about after life I can't even begin to think about it. No one can explain it, no one living ever will, so why even bother thinking about it? It doesn't make sense. We'll all see what's there someday, so lets just enjoy our living hours and find out what's there when it's our time to.
2. What does death feel like? Not hard. It feels like nothing. I doubt your brain can decifer the sesationof feeling once it's dead..
It's not worth thinking about what if, because were all going to find out anyway. It can never be proven in this world, no matter how hard you try. It's like trying to think what a worm in the ground is feeling right now. Why think with logic about something that can never be surrounded by truth on Earth? A severe waste of time.

"Nietzsche is dead." -God LOL

Nietzsche only failed to ponder one thing
That what he was pondering as Christianity
Was actually the antichrist system
Nietzsche could not win for losing
Nietzsche must be born again
And again
Again

God of death enjoys his fruit===
Of rotting corpses

I'm only 2 years younger then you. So I'm not THAT young. And I also agree that some people are to young to think about death. They should live life to the fullest. Crap. I answered my own question.

Heaven's Cloud dislike Konojo
Remind Heaven's Cloud of poorly dubbed Tarzan Movie
Konojo never die
but novlelty of fragmented posts
wear thin
Heaven's Cloud...

...Oh cripes, I'm getting a headache writing this way and my attempt at humor was weak at best. Back to the subject of death, a famous lyricist wrote "Death Stinks"...or was that love, I always get those two confused...

[i] Isn't this Kanojo thing getting out of hand? The last 6 out of 8 posts were primarily based on Kanojo's creative yet annoying way of posting..it's kind of getting off-topic.

Back on it..
As for being to young to think about it, I don't see a set age. Any of any age can think about death if they want. I don't think anyone is too young, as long as they can keep intellegent thoughts about it. Death can happen any time, regardless of age. It just so happens the older humans are, the more prone they are.

Uh...I don't quite get the Kanojo thing, but back to the subject at hand. The best way to live your life is to live it to the fullest that way when you do die you have almost no regrets. As for people who think being immortal would be fun are really not thinking this through enough.

You see if you're immortal then you will live forever while your friends and family die. When you want to join that one special person (that you love with all of your heart) in death you won't be able to because your immortal and chose to live forever while the world around dies. Of course their are some people who wouldn't mind that to much so for them it would be completely different.

I have thought about it; a few times, at least. Whenever this crawled into my mind, I always thougth about it the same way.

If death were to befall on me the next day, I guess, what would be done, would be done. I can't really change the fact that death will soon come uponn me. Death will always be there.

I'm not saying I'm scared of death, but I'm not saying I'm not afraid of it either.

All I'm trying to say is that Death will come and go. You cannot change that fact.
