Teen Titans

How many of you watch the REINCARNATED Cartoon Network show, Teen Titans? I like it. It's silly.

Oh, if you want to know what I mean by reincarnated, I was looking up Teen Titans pictures and I found a picture of the OLD 'New Teen Titans.' Basically, they just cut out some of characters.

Still, very awesome show... I just love Beast Boy and Raven.

From what I understand, the makers of the cartoon decided not to use Kid Flash and Wonder Girl (pictured above) because of conflicts with the Justice League cartoon. For starters, the Flash found on the animated Justice League is the guy who used to be Kid Flash. They couldn't use him. And I think Wonder Woman has the more fluctuating back-story in DC history, and something about it stopped the makers of animated TT from using Wonder Girl. Aqualad (Aquaman's sidekick) is supposed to be a Teen Titan, and they're going to give him a cameo in the cartoon at some point.

I love the Teen Titans cartoon. It's crazy. You gotta love Raven, too. Despite how crazy every other character acts, Raven remains the most normal... which is strange, because the girl is the least human.

yes... were all happy that Robin has pants...

I think its a good show, i'v only seen one episode but I think its good. I think how they used anime styles in it are funny. Sometimes it looks like it's anime... sometimes it makes you laugh that they tryed to make it anime, but it ended up looking really weird and funny. I think beast boy is cool, he's a wacky little guy ^^

Yes! Robin has pants!

Starfire is funny cuz she acts so clueless. I also like how Beast Boy transforms into animals for any reason at all. Like the time when he was having a fight with SF, she got hurt, he was looking for her. He found she was fine, so he transformed into a little cat and jumped in her arms. That was pretty funny.

Heh, here comes a rant where I try to be polite but I probably come off as a jerk...

I'm really not that fond of the show.. ^_^' Um, I don't mean to be biased, but I don't reallyl think that the anime format is really that great with American cartoons... They often over-exaggerate the over-exaggerations.. (Look at Beast Boy. Seems every two seconds he's got really big eyes or a little throbbing vein in his head) And the show is kept on a very children-friendly level, whereas many anime are much more mature... Especially anime of the action genre.. And it seems on this nobody ever dies. Where's the carnage, huh??? I want my out-of-sync-mouthed-and-round-faced characters to die in a pool of blood..!

Of course, I'm not a big fan of American action cartoons in general... They don't have the same flare that sparks my interest as much as anime does..

As for the old Teen Titans...

Is it just me or are they more "Almost off to College Titans" than the "Pre-Teen Titans" That we know on Cartoon Network..?

But I am glad that they cut off WonderGirl and AquaLad and that miniature Flash.. That would have made the show a bit more corny, in my opinion.. Even more stereotypical personalities on the show.. Eerg..

Why can't you accept a show for what it is instead of constantly comparing it to an anime? Why would having people die in that show make it complete?

Twas a big sarcastic joke, my good fellow. Well, most of it.

Yes, I know, sarcasm doesn't come off well in print, but I shall prevail yet.

I have seen the show, and I must say I think they did a pretty good job.

The old one doesn't look quite like the latest version of Teen Titans. Basically cause the Teen Titans latest version somewhat looks like an anime, and the older one doesn't look much like the latest version.

Gosh I'm glad they put pants back on Robin.

Anyway I am somewhat glad the americans can actually like japanese anime, and make a show that could look like it. That makes me happy that people don't have to fight all the time. ^_^

People say Starfire is some kind of a ditz, but I don't think she is. If you think about it, she knows exactly what she's doing all the time. She just isn't from this planet (hence why she thinks mustard is a drink) and barely speaks English. Whenever they're in a fight, she's one of the people who get smacked around the least. Like in the Thunder/Lightning episode: Beast Boy thought she was burried under all that rubble, but she apparently moved out of the way a long time ago.

OtakuSennen, you seem to forget who's leading the Teen Titans. Robin. As in "Batman and Robin." Batman doesn't kill his enemies... not often, anyway. Robin was taught to send the bad guys to prison, not finish them off in an R-rated bloodbath. Deaths of badguys happen more often in anime than Western cartoons, but this is still Robin's team we're dealing with. When was the last time you saw Robin take out one of Joker's henchmen in a pool of blood?

I have yet to see the first eppie, but I do think tha Robin and Star make a cute couple.
In fact, in the episode where Star's sister shows up, every time Robin and Star Fire were alone with each other, I was screaming at the TV, "KISS! KISS HER ROBIN! KISSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"
I know, I'm pathetic.

Starfire is like Vash to me; she acts very stupid but when she needs to she can pour it on. Raven is my favorite she's so dark but cute at the same time. I hate Robin and will always hate him forever( the old Robin was cool the one who left Batman to go solo).Beast boy is the humor for the show and is very funny. Cyborg....I don'y know what he does for the show other than fight.

Yes, and its one of those guilty pleasures for one my age, much like the old Superman and Batman toons. The new take on the characters is pretty good, but sometimes I just wish they could feature a bit more of the history similar to the comics. This is aimed at a whole new generation of comic fans, and its kinda tough to seperate the new stuff from the actual history down the road.

I thought that the show was good, and it added a new spice to the shows they have on CN. My favorite character is Raven. I mean, she can do all kinds of stuff. I also like beast boy. He adds a comic relief to the show that makes it enjoyable to watch. You never know what's going to happen next. I also liked the eposide when Star's sister came to town. It was greatl.

Heh, I like this show alot. Raven is of course my favorite character. Beast Boy is funny and Starfire is so clueless and happy that it is funny. I like all the little conversations Raven and Beast Boy have.
This isn't one of my favorite shows, but I like to watch it every time it's on."Wakey wakey, tofu eggs and baccy."- Beast Boy. ^_^
It's an interesting show and over all, a very good show.

I really enjoyed the recent episode. I know a few people who wished the show would go more into the characters' past, and this was a pretty good take on Raven and her demonic heritage. You also get a look into the more hidden sides of her personality, such as her insecurities and sense of humor.

This show could definitely go into more depth, but then we'd have to deal with full-hour episodes split into halves, like Justice League. And I really hate seeing half of an episode per week.
