Its wrong i no but its just something to do.
We do that too, usually on fridays, since that's the day when everyone is excited because of the weekend. Everyone is jumping around and mucking up in class, nd it's easy to steal pens from other kids in the class. I too admit it's wrong, but like you said, it's great fun.

I haven't stolen anything in a long time. I only stole in elementary school, but then it was only like pencils from the classroom and minor stuff like that. The most frequent thing I took seemed to be food. I only "borrowed" from kids I knew so they wouldn't be so mad at me. They weren't my friends, though, and I guess I felt that I had a right to take their little baggy of crackers because they picked on me. The biggest thing I ever took has to have been an old, crappy Power Rangers toy that was confiscated by a teacher (because it was SHINY ooh!).
I don't steal anymore though;there are no victims. I don't know anybody at my school and, quite frankly, I'm scared of them.

Speaking of things getting stolen at school...I have quite a few stories. The most recent phase is small 1cm cubes...... Lots of cubes. Does anyone have any idea how strange your average piece of ground looks with countless cubes scattered all over it? Try it sometime....

Then of course, there's the rather interesting incident where a friend of mine ended up with something like fifty pieces of chalk, and tried to throw them at another person in Chemistry. His defense when he got caught? He threw them at me first....

Just a note on that though, that person is also the person responsible for giving our Chem teacher notes along the lines of "The Pie Cheese Jesus owns you", and "The Pie Cheese Jesus is controlling you", and making random parrot noises during class. So he may be slightly unstable.

And yes, we've had our share of computer mouse, or more to the point, mouse balls, go missing over the years. Also friends of mine. Pens go missing less often, though.

The other things are these printed our signs our school does up, that go just beside doors, and say things like "Have you turned off the lights? Closed the windows?" and other stuff like that. Multiple ones of those have gone missing. And clocks. That's right clocks.

Another friend of mine, no longer at school, walked out of a computer room once was a full ream of photocopier paper wrapped in his spray jacket.

And the interesting part about all this? The results to nearly all of these pointless crimes end up in a single locker...The locker belongs to a guy who left school recently. It also contains something in order of thirty cigarette packets....When the teachers finally find it, someone is going to have a heart attack.

I wouldn't call what I do "stealing", it's more along the liens of borrowing without asking", as I usually return what I've taken.

I've never taken something from an actual store, though I have every confidence in my ability to do so. I can't afford to pay fines in the event that I somehow do get caught. >_<

Discreetness is key when dealing in places with evil security gaurds.

On Wednseday night a week ago, I was sitting in a classroom at our church catching up on homework while Ste was in choir practice. It got late, and a few hours later it was time to leave, so I gathered my things and got in the car. It wasn't until after we left that I noticed I had left my school planner. I wasn't too worried about it, and I just said "Oh, I'll get it tomorrow." The next day, it was missing. It wasn't in Lost-and-Found, the closets, the classrooms, it was just....gone. I was a little upset about it because I had to pay for it with my own money, but apart from that, our school planners are our hall passes. So needless to say, I can't go anywhere during class without it. It had my name on it, my address, and even a picture of Deedlit that I taped to the cover, so I don't know why someone didn't return it.

It's just kinda wierd that someone would want to steal something as silly as a planner.

Uh...I haven't stolen anything, but recently, a friend of mine moved to another province, taking with him two PS2 games that belong to me and my friend that we lent him over the school year. However, I still have three of his games and one memory card, so I got my revenge...in a way
Oh, and sometimes I borrow stuff from friends and don't return for a long time. I've had my friend's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for almost a year now, but he doesn't seem to care. Whenever he comes over to pick it up, he stays for a few hours and then forgets it when he leaves. His loss.

Wow. That really bothered me. I think I'll go change my ways right now!

I get through life not putting a lot of emphasis on morals or what society dubs as right or wrong. And, unfortunately for you pantalaimon, I'm not going to change for you or anyone else.

I havent stolen anything, but I HAVE been stolen FROM...

I once got this really cool watch that you clipped onto your beltloop for my birthday. One day, I decided to go to the city pool.
after swimming and hanging out (but mostly swimming) for about an hour, I went to check the time...
Unfourtunately, somebody had swiped it while I was swimming, so that was kind of a let-down. I was watchless for the next couple years* until I finally decided to go out and get a new one.

Pens, permanent markers, boxes of chalk, late-notes, etc. All the small stuff that can get you through a day at school.
Same here... lots of small useless stuff found in class rooms that aren't nessisaraly needed at the time or anywhere in the future but seem to beg to be taken.

And like Jesus Chicken I'm not discreet about it, hell I'll even ask if anyone owns something before I take it sometimes, mainly cause no one answers me. I figure no one said anything, so no one owns it and thus it's free for the taking.

My friend used to steal lots of useless stuff from her school, she stole a fair few paintbrushes and some derwent watercolour pencils at one stage.

Don't forget the soccer ball. And the towel. And the ream of magnesium he tried to pilfer.

lol

Ream of magnesium meaning that if he set fire to it, he would be blind for the rest of his life, and as would people in the surrounding 5 metre radius. ^_^;

I frequently steal stuff, but thats only to say 'mineness' or something, or bite it. Of course I do it in plain view of the owner and give it back.

EDIT: Good good, I'll lend you the third one as well

Like my scarf. -.-

I don't really steal. I don't think I stole anything in my life. I borrow -- but the person knows about it, and I try to give it back, even if I forget I have it.

Oh, and Liam, I will finish Artemis Fowl sooner or later...promise.
