Ok, we all have a few pick up lines to us on the opposite sex.
This is were you get to post them...

My favorite: (1)Excuse me, mama, is that dress felt? Would you like it to be?
(2)If I said you have a great body would you hold it against me?
(3)What do you say we go back to my place and play army? I'll lay down and you can blow the heck out of me!

(The last one is risky. Try to keep it clean but fun. I can see this thread geting :modrod: really fast.)

I've always been fond of: "I once tried to kill the greatest lover of all time. And then I remembered that murder was illegal. So I did it anyway! AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Maybe that's not a very good one... I like it.

Isn't it,"I thought about killing the greatest lover (or whatever) of all time but ...then there's something about suicide"...I really can't remember.. But anyways, I think pickup lines are really lame. And they don't work ~_^

I don't know about "good" pick up lines, but here's a story.

"Do you want a poster?"

It was night on the Summerfest grounds.

I was sitting on the grass, between two of my friends. Being the foolish child that I am, I assumed that if any strange shirtless drunk man we didn't know came up to us, they would prevent him from coming near me. I rested my head on my knees and closed my eyes.

Slightly later, I feel someone grasping my hands. I think it's one of my friends trying to get my attention, and look up. There's a man I've never seen before holding my hands and looking very eager.

My "friends" are sitting to either side of me, looking faintly surprised, like, "Oh, how did this strange drunk man walk across thirty feet of empty grass eithout our noticing him? And why is he talking to Sara?"

The first words of out the guys mouth were, and I quote: "Do you want a poster?"

I blinked. Slightly dazed, I responded, "Uh...no thank you."

"Do you want something to drink?" the man asked. He'd obviously had more than enough.

"No thank you," I said again.

"Do you want something to eat?"

This guy was persistant. "No thank you." I said firmly, hoping he would leave.

"Do you want to dance?" he asked.

I looked with some alarm at my friends, both of whom looked as though they were about to die laughing.

"No," I said. "That's quite alright."

"Do you want to go for a walk by the lake?" he offered.

I am going to point out that my "friends" did not come to my aid at any point in this conversation.

"No thanks!" I said again.

One last try: "Well," he said, at a loss, "what do you want?"

"I think I'd just like to be left alone, please," I said feebly. And he left.

It was too much for my friend Dave, he started rolling around on the grass, thumping his foot against the ground and howling with laughter.

I dumped my icewater over his head.

So, yes. Pick up line. "Do you want a poster?"

To quote a movie Dave later made me watch... "Not enough beer in the world." *laughs softly*

I think the greatest pick up line ever would be the one on my favorite shirt.

"I lost my phone number, can I have yours?"

I'd like to have it noted that I have a friend who swears she would give me her number if I ever ask her that.

I know quite a few others, but most of them are just stolen from 8-Bit Theater and the such. So yeah.

This is for a friend:

"I may not be Fr3d Flintstone, but I sure can make your bed ROCK! "

"are you tired, cause you've been running through my mind all day?"

"can I get a map, cause I keep gettin lost in your eyes.."

"I lost my teddy bear, will you sleep with me tonight?"

yep all cheezy, but you know.....even though Cody says their not...they are!

This is a story of me being such a good girl...

At a concert a couple months ago, I started not feeling well around the middle of the show, so I squeezed my way out of the moshpit and climbed up the stairs to thw balcony.
Apparently, I hadn't eaten enough that day, and my hands were shaking. I got a glass of water then saw that my friend Steph was sitting on the couch in the back behind the bar. She wasn't feeling too good either, so we just sat and talked for a while.
A couple feet away sat a blonde, something like 18 year old guy, obviously drunk, and he was staring at me through the entire conversation. I tried to ignore it.
Steph said she was going to the bathroom, which was on the same floor (the place was pretty small), and I was left alone to wait for her. As soon as she had gone, the guy tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, and he said,
"You must rock a lot."
"Um... what?" I answered dumbly.
Apparently, this was all too much for him and his memory had been wiped clean.
"Ever seen them live before?" He asked.
"Er, no," I replied. "Have you?"
"Nope."
"Ah-ha... Why aren't you out on the floor?" I asked. Why had I continued this stupid conversation? WHY!?
"Oh... uh... I was out... before... But, I'm kinda wasted, so... (He proceeds to go a little cross-eyed. Then,) This is the best concert ever! (Takes a swig of beer)"
I sat there for a moment, gripping my purse, nodded, got up and ran like all hell to the bathroom.
