Revelation
Angelus stood up and walked out of the building area. She looked around outside and figured she'd go do something with someone. She went back inside and figured she'd grab somebody and go to the shooting range or do something. She wasn't the type to sit around and wait. She was the type who did what was needed or more. "What to do? There is nothing to do at this moment. I do not have anything to do and yet the others do. I should do best to find something before the day is filled." Angelus walked back out again and she looked around and saw that the others were scattered. She sighed and looked to the sky. It grew dark and she knew that it would rain soon. She took her blade out and changed it to an umbrella. As soon as the umbrella popped open and sprinklets of rain dropped down from the sky. Soon, the rain grew larger and fell harder. She stood there and watched as the humans ran for cover and as the cars sped by.
FartMaster745
hehe, down the list we go....I'll bring it back up.... ---------------------------------------------------------- Themos is alone in the bar with his back to the bar tender. He put up his elbow and put them on the table and lays back. Looks around and notices that he was wasting his free time, his last time of freedom before he goes to Sygnosis X HQ. Themos gets up and walks out the bar. In front of him was a female reploid standing there with an umbrella. Themos: "Hey what are you doing out here. Its raining." Angelus: "Oh, umm... just trying to kill some time. Theres nothing to do." Themos walks up beside Angelus but stays in the rain. Themos: "I'm sure we'll get plenty of work in Sygnosis X HQ." Angelus: "I don't like to just stand around. I want to do something." Themos turns around and starts walking away from Angelus without even asking for her name and callsign. Themos: "Well, I'll be seeing you then." Angelus: "What? Why? Where are you going? Get back here!" Themos: "....." Themos just waves his right hand and dissappears in th rain before Angelus eyes. He enters a building. Angelus: "What a strange repoid...." He finally reached his room again waiting for the morning sun to peek through his window and his new clothes to dry. He figured that he'll just waste the rest of his free time in his room...
James
Cyan looked at his watch. As he did so, the light blue plasma screen came to life. It displayed the time at the bottom, with the date and a small clouds-with-rain-behind-it icon on the side. The time was 5:06am. As he walked outside, he felt a sudden rush of air. The wind lashed at the wet cement and pounded against the side of the enormous black defense building. The landing pad ahead was dotted with pulsating white lights, which blinked calmly despite the blankets of rain. Cyan was wearing a black cloak with a thin hood. He walked out into the rain and stood on the tarmac. Once again, he checked his watch. At first, Cyan thought that nobody had arrived. But finally, he saw several dark figures approaching. Pyret, Quietus, Excalibur, Arano, Archer, Themos, Angelus and Deep. They were walking in a tight-knit group, except that both Arano and Quietus were walking somewhat seperately. For his part, Arano was wearing no cloak. He didn't seem to notice the harsh weather. Quietus, while still wearing a cloak, seemed nonetheless disinterested in the group behind her. Cyan also noticed another figure emerging from the shadows; a young man with striking red hair and an elaborate black cloak. The hood on the cloak was sitting neatly around his neck, and as a result, hair was matted lightly around the sides of his face. Finally, the entire group stood in front of Cyan. Cyan smiled, as the rain continued to sweep across the expansive landing area. "It's good to see that you all made it," said Cyan. "I had hoped that none of you would be late." "No, sir!" said Angelus enthusiastically. Cyan smiled politely, while Arano snickered to himself. Cyan pointed to the man standing toward the back of the group. "You," he said, "with the red hair. Who are you?" The man stepped forward and brushed a strand of deep red hair from his face. "My name is Toshiro," he said, "but my callsign is Loki." Loki extended his hand for Cyan to shake, but Cyan remained still. "Loki, do you have permission to be here?" asked Cyan. Loki smiled awkwardly and reached into the pocket of his cloak. He then produced a small datacard and handed it to Cyan. Cyan's left iris changed from a blue-grey colour to a stronger, vivid blue. His eye was adjusting zoom properties as well as adjusting to the dark environment outside. This was necessary, due to the tiny size of the datacard's text. Cyan read for a brief second and then handed the card back to Loki. "That's fine," he said. "I just had to make sure that there were no security breaches at this time. It's too early for any problems..." "So, what are we here for?" Cyan looked across the group. The voice belonged to Arano, who was standing slightly seperate from the group. He didn't look at Cyan, but rather, his eyes seemed to focus on a point on the tarmac. "We are awaiting the arrival of Venus," said Cyan. "Venus?" asked Archer, who also seemed to be wondering why they were on the tarmac at such an early hour. Cyan nodded. "Venus is one of the Sygnosis X transport vessels. She's very slender and we use her mostly for transport purposes only. Great vehicle." Quietus smiled from underneath her dark hood. Her milky skin contrasted heavily against it. "Are all of your ships named after planets?" she asked, with a slight tone of sarcasm in her voice, though Cyan couldn't particularly pick it. "Yes," he said. "For instance, we have three heavier craft that we use for combat...Mars One, Mars Two and Mars Three. And we have a larger interstellar vessel called Mercury." "Where do you keep all of them?" asked Angelus. "All of these vessels are kept underneath the Sygnosis X headquarters. We have several large docking bays down there," said Cyan, as he periodically checked his watch, which was tracking the movements of Venus. Just as Cyan had finished speaking, several Reploids in the group looked skywards. In the distance, over the dark silhouette of Novus Concordia's cityscape, several blue lights became visible from within the clouds. The lights grew larger and larger, until finally, a sleek white shape could be seen. As it came closer, the Venus' curved shape became more and more apparent. It was a long vehicle, with barrel-shaped sides that were indented with various shapely extractor vents. The rear of the vehicle curved gracefully into a long, sharp tail, with a single white light at its end. The front contained a long, thin window that wrapped around the nose of the ship like a large panoramic visor. After several minutes of watching the Venus effortlessly glide through the sky (despite the growing storm), its light, almost delicate fusion engines could be seen. They were sitting on the underside of the vessel and were moving independently of one another, carefully changing the alignment and position of the Venus as it approached the tarmac. Its engines were almost silent and emitted a soft blue glow. As the Venus' underside gently kissed the cool surface of the tarmac, Cyan turned and began to walk toward it. He gestured for the others to follow. Even to Cyan, who had known the Venus for several years, it remained a highly impressive vehicle. Not only was it like a moving piece of art, but it was also such a great comfort. The Venus had been used in various military rescues across the world and it had even been taken into very risky battlefield situations. It had even suffered significant damage in the middle of a skirmish. And yet, with several months of repair under its belt, the Venus looked and felt entirely new again. Its engines were as quiet as ever, its interior was as spacious and silent as ever and with everything it did, the Venus exuded a sense of grace and composure. To Cyan, the Venus was almost like a mother. Perhaps that concept wasn't so odd, considering that both of them were machines. The side entry door gently slid away into the wall, producing a rectangular opening. Soft white light poured through and cast a glow across the black tarmac. Cyan stepped inside, followed by the new recruits. The interior deck was more spacious than it had appeared from the outside and moreover, everything seemed extremely luxurious. Touch-screen monitors were mounted just about everywhere, white leather chairs mounted on brushed aluminium pods were littered around the deck. And, as the new recruits noticed, the ceiling was capable of becoming completely transparent at the touch of a screen. It was a beautiful, graceful atmosphere -- quite odd for what they assumed as a military vehicle. "Make yourselves at home," said Cyan as he gestured toward the chairs. "If anyone wants to dry off, there are several changing rooms in that direction," he pointed to his left. "If you'll excuse me," he added, "I need to visit the Command Center for a moment." | | | | A tall, slender Reploid in completely white clothing was sitting in a chair in the very center of the room. His face was pleasant, almost serene. Sitting in front of him was Cyan, who was surrounded by various touch-screen displays. Cyan turned his chair around to face the Reploid. The Reploid cocked his head slightly and smiled. "Are you okay?" he said in a quiet voice. Cyan nodded. "I'm fine, Yang," he said, "I just hope we can do this..." Yang smiled once more and stared intensely at Cyan. His eyes were engaging and very much focused on the subject of his attention, however, his fingers continued to move rapidly over a control panel, which sat on the right-hand arm of his chair. "It's definitely not an easy thing," said Yang softly. "But, you know that we needed these recruits. Even though we're facing a bad situation...I'm sure we'll be fine." Yang smiled again and turned his attention to a small monitor, which extended from the side of his chair and was angled to sit just over his lap. Yang, who was Sygnosis X's very own pilot, was always a great comfort. Not just a comfort to Cyan, but to virtually anyone he came into contact with. Unlike his brother, who had a tendency to be more direct and "realistic" (though sometimes pesimistic), Yang was a perennial optimist. In many ways, he was the glue that held Sygnosis X together. He was a mediator and a friend to everyone -- particularly Cyan. Cyan looked up at a monitor which sat near the ceiling. It showed the recruits sitting in the main deck. An hour into the journey, and most of them were already discussing their experiences in a group. Cyan noticed that a couple of Reploids were choosing not to participate, but he didn't mind. He was surprised that the recruits had come together so soon. It was a promising sign. Again, Cyan looked at his watch. 7:45am. Only two more hours until they reached New Hokkaido...
Baron Samedi
OOC: Yay, James finally posted ^^ IC: Reclining in the soft leather chair, Deep listened to the conversations of those around him, absorbing the relaxed yet anticipating atmosphere of those around him. For his part, he could not wait until they arrived at the HeadQuarters, but quietly he sat, forcing himself to wait and remaain calm. Gazing through slitted lids, he observed Arano, sitting on his own, sideways to the main group, watching a small portable vidscreen which he had removed from its wall socket, viewing the scene outisde the ship using its external cameras. Despite Arano's obvious dislike for company, Deep felt a form of friendship towards the Reploid, for no apparently discernible reason. Abruptly Deep stood up, and went to get a vidscreen. Connecting to the screen with his extension jack, he sorted through the various informative files and programs on it, until he reached what he was looking for- the system specifications of Venus. He whistled softly through his lips, examining the records of the ship. Grinning he drew up the information of his previous visit to the NET. The official capabilities of the Defense Department, and all related organisations- including Sygnosis X were located on a database. All that Sygnosis officially had was an armed transport, and a few older model battle-machines. Of course there were rumours, which seemed to pertain to a sighting of one of the Mars combat craft. However, some very efficient NETbots had been out, or this ship had a form of very advanced cloaking device, because it had no mention or sight reported, at least on the NET. Sadly, the specificationms gave no clue to if it had a cloaking device or not. Deep sighed. it would have been interesting to compare his program to the ships. Never mind. This craft was most impressive, with a plush interior, latest engines and some technology which was not even on the market yet. Plus, the designers would not have included everything in the design specifications, no way. There would doubtless be a few little surprises hidden around. ...We will be reaching HeadQuarters in approximately 45 minutes. came the voice over the ships speakers. Comparing voice modulation, Deep figured it was another person on board the Venus possibly a pilot, or an AI driving intelligence that commandeered the ship. Slipping the vidscreen back into its port, he relaxed, tuning into one of the conversation that was flitting around the room.
Domon
Ryan within the sleek confines of the Venus with his cloak pulled about him, he'd been sitting against the far back wall watching the others and that's when the kitten decided to start moving around under his cloak, he'd taken the extent of keeping the kitten dry under his cloak. All of a sudden he found himself looking directly into the kitten's playful eyes again, this unfortunately caught the attention of that Angelus and she strode over again and plopped down next to Ryan and started yammering, course Ryan decided to be nice today and chat while they played with the kitten. "So, did you bring this little guy with you from your old home?" She asked rather inquisitively. "Nope, found him after I left the bar last night and I broght him back to the base and I guess once I get quarters I'll just keep this little guy there, of course he might have other plans." Ryan jokingly said as the kittne th en went for his arm moving around, with the cloak dangling around his arm it looked like a play toy to the cat so it felt obligated to play with it, but the leap was overshot and it landed right in Angelus' lap she picked it up and started to gently scratching its chin; Ryan had to grin a little inwardly, maybe Angelus wasn't half as bad as he thought.
terra
The cabin of the Venus was eerily quiet for several minutes after they took off. Fiona looked around at her companions; a couple appeared to be staring interestedly at the optionally transparent ceiling, some were fiddling with the various monitors dotted over the deck, and others had claimed chairs, only to sit in them silently without making eye contact or conversation. Coupled with the silence and smoothness of the Venus's engine, the silence was positively overwhelming. It was broken slowly, as Reploids began conversing in nearly hushed whispers about the mechanics of the ceiling, or pointing out interesting features to each other discovered on the touch screen panels. Fiona couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief as the cabin seemingly came back to life. The mystery of their upcoming trials had been unnerving enough already, and she didn't want the eeriness of silence adding to it. "Man," Sariyah said at her elbow, and turning to look at him, Fiona felt a twinge of amusement. His expression was somehow charmingly naive as he was still looking around at their lush transportation. "This is one nice car." Fiona, oddly enough, smiled. "That's called understatement, I believe." "Well, what can I say?" Sariyah laughed back. "It's time to relax, isn't it? I mean, the hard part is over -- we're in." "I doubt it," Fiona said, though not with the same callous tone she would usually reserve for such a statement. "So what do you think they've got here?" Sariyah said, wandering over to one of the monitors. He seemed almost unwilling to discuss anything serious, and considering her own current mood, Fiona didn't mind. She stood and followed him, where he was pressing the screen seemingly at random. "You figure this has got to be one of the most advanced vessels of our day ... but what can you do while you're travelling in complete luxury, that's the question." Sariyah's fingers flew over the screen, exploring various options. He found data concerning their destination, arrival time, and other various flight information, but the screens flashed by quickly, obviously not enough to keep his attention for very long. Then -- "Ooh, Tetrinet!" Sariyah squeaked, and this time Fiona laughed aloud. "Do you want to play?" "Well, are you any good?" Fiona said with a smirk, readying her fingers above the monitor. --------- OOC: Hope that's ok, DW ... Fiona on her own is boring. :p Oh ... if anyone doesn't know, Tetrinet is like Tetris, but you can battle each other. Don't mind me.
Revelation
Angelus sat in a cabin inside the Venus and thought about the things that had happened in her life. She shook her head and got up. She walked out of the cabin and into the main area. She saw that there was a kitten and thought about the pets she had at the Kinotaka's. She shook her head and walked to the Refridgerator. She grabbed a can of Pepsi and popped it open. As she drank from it. She stopped at times to look at the remaining Reploids. So many had died at the session, but the living ones are here to protect the rest of the Reploids. Questions ran through Angelus' mind as she sat down in a chair. She looked out the window and looked at the passing scenery. She took photographic memory of the certain ones she wanted to see. Angelus got up, but left her drink on the table, and walked towards the cabins, but as she walked there, a reploid by the name of Themos had bumped into her. "Sorry. Hey, you're that strange Reploid that I met outside HQ. Themos, wasn't it?" "Yes. That is correct. Angelus is your callsign, I presume." "You presumed right. Well, I have to get to my cabin. Excuse me." Themos moved out of the way so that Angelus could get through. Once Angelus got to her cabin, a sudden strange feeling came over her. She looked out her window, but something wasn't right. She tried to ignore the feeling, but it was the same feeling she had when the Kinotaka's were murdered. And it was also the same feeling when she was nearly beaten to death, as well as the time when she ran from nothing, for a day, until the nothing turned into Military. "I hope that I am wrong. I hope that this isn't true. Please let it not be." Angelus sat on her bed with her eyes closed, her blade lying in front of her. Memories, thoughts, and all the things she had seen ran through her mind. She tried to clear her thoughts for a moment, but all the things that were to happen and that had happened just ran through her mind and nothing was cleared. Sweat ran down her face as she tried to open her eyes and see the world, but couldn't. The feeling of fear, anger, trouble, and danger filled the atmosphere of the room. The Replication Blade changed each time she touched it. Soon enough, Angelus fell asleep and the atmosphere of the room had turned to normal. Everything was fine and she slept through the ride to New Hokkaido.

He managed to regain his senses and walked up the ramp and went in the craft . he looked around to find a computer .He then logged on and found the map of the shuttle and the information on the ship. He put it on his memory and walked to the living area to see the other reploids from the trials standing talking to each other two of them were even playing tetrinet at least he touhgt it was called that . He played it once before with one of his friends , but that was behind him now he was leaving New Concordia. He walked over to one of the repoids and leaned against a wall. Shadow : Hey ???: Huh Shadow : Names Shadow ???: My names Ryan , my callsign is Excalibur . Call me which ever . Shadow : SO what brought you here. Ryan: Reasons Shadow: Oh ok. Shadow got the distinct feeling he was getting the cold shoulder and so he just decided to leave. Something about this reploid was weird. Shadow got up and moved over to a couch and just sat thinking. He remebered the times in the city. Thinking about these things he managed to doze off. ???: Come on whats the matter Shadow: nothing it's....... nothing really ???: Come on Raynos I know when something is troubling you. Shadow: Well........ ???: Come on you can tell your old man. Shadow: It's about Mom Dad: I thought you got over this. It's been a year. Shadow: Something wasn't right about that. I don't believe it was and accident. Dad: Come on we've been over this. The management said it was faulty wiring. Shadow: Whatever Raynos got up and left. When he came back the building was in ashes. Shadow: God..... Police: Son Shadow: What happend? Police: An explosion. We don't know where it came from but our team is investigating. Shadow: Where is my dad. Police: We believe he was in the explosion Shadow: No...This can't be happening.. God not again. Police: We found something in the wreckage in your apartment. We think it was your father's. Shadow: What. The policeman pulled out something. It was a disk. An ash covered disk but disk nonetheless. Sh Shadow then woke up sweating. Shadow:what He got up and looked out the window. He was almost there. Almost there.
Chaos
The sun had just come up to seem to level with Venus just a moment ago. The cameras on the exterior plates were tiny specks, not much to even notice. Glittering dots in the rising sun. They shined back at the star in the sky, as they rotated and focused minisculely. Arano flipped through the different angles with the tap of the lower right corner of the small plasma screen monitor he had in his lap. Land was off in the distance. The land he left just to do what he already knew he could do. The palaverous adventures of the apes. The sudden disdain towards humans had sprung up like crabgrass in an ill-manicured lawn. As if overnight, their actions for order and the need for a system was actually against the system. If something is programmed to do just that, and it must follow it's programming, then what is the need to test it after it has been proven to work? Mindless, hairless, gutless apes. His thoughts swarmed, binary code converting in his internal CPU, twisting into information, resulting in projected thoughts in his conscious mind; killing the drones, the bland feeling of cold, nay, icy pleasure as he slaughtered; the process of dismembering the original prototypes in simulated battles; the deathly grim mayhem of a full-out war in urban surroundings; the stench of human fear, of human sweat, of human blood. "The blood which belongs on my hands." Arano shook his head violently, the small ding of the intercom awakening him from his babbling mind. "Land ahead," Cyan said, with a note or two of anticipation in his gentle voice, "We'll be landing shortly." Wondershot
Loki sighed and reclined on the small bed in the back. The ship was something else, but he knew he probably wound never see it again. Throughout the trip Loki had begun to rethink wether or not this mission was really worth it. He had seen a lot of powerful reploids, and if he turned on them he might not live long enough to collect his pay...and besides, maybe he might be better off here. The living certainly seemed acceptable, and maybe he wouldn't have to live on the run any longer... INCOMING TRANSMISSION Loki's eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he fell unconcious. He woke up in the bright white room once again, and the white-suited man in the swivel chair was still there, only this time facing away from him. "So..." Loki began, he wondered what this was about now. "You do not wish to complete your job..." Loki felt a lump in his throat, how in the hell could this be happening? "If you do not follow my orders after you have completed your job, then you will not be able to recieve your pay." "The money doesn't matter that much anymore, I think this place has a lot more to offer me than you do, and I probably will end up dead before I can escape." The man stood up, he was facing away from Loki, and Loki saw that he had dark hair, and was apparently wearing dark glasses. "I believe that I saw this coming, so I will not attempt to stop you, however, we still have that link to your memory." The man tapped a finger to his temple. "We will still recieve all the information you find, and you do not have to escape, however...when we attack the facility, we will make no attempt to spare your life." Loki crossed his arms, what now? "You can either work for them, or us, the descision is up to you." "It's never really up to me, is it?" Loki said bitterly, but the man just laughed slightly. "It is up to you, you can choose your path down life, and whatever happens, you will have to do your best to perservere. I will await your answer." Loki awoke with a start, shooting upwards as though he had been fired from a cannon, and banged his head against the ceiling. The door to the room opened and Cyan stepped in. "Are you alright? We'll be landing soon." He shut the door without waiting for an answer, and Loki regained his composure before getting up again. This was definetely one of his harder assignments, and would soon become one of his hardest choices...
James
OOC: Zerosaber...I am going to have to boot you from the RPG. I'm sorry, but your post quality in here is getting really shoddy. Your Sign-Up was good, but you're putting no real effort into dialogue or description. I want to see more than one paragraph...and some kind of effort to flesh out your character a bit more. I'll give you another chance, but please, try to put in more effort. | | | | Dark grey shapes made way to deep pink hues, as the Venus drifted away from the grasp of the expansive storm clouds. The ocean was calm and as the Venus gently sank through the pink clouds, rolling green hills and tall white buildings became visible to her occupants. New Hokkaido sprawled over the grassy plains of Japan's northern island. The city was enormous, though not nearly as large as Novus Concordia. Nevertheless, New Hokkaido was the world's second largest city; it covered around 90% of the nothern island. At the northern-most outskirts of the city lay rolling hills, which appeared to unfold over the blue ocean beyond. As the Venus made her approach, Yang guided her toward the hills just beyond the city. Cyan walked into the central cabin and the Reploids who were still there looked up at him. "Okay everyone, we're almost ready to land. I'd say that we're about ten minutes away from home now," he said. This was the first time that anyone had really seen Cyan smile; he seemed happy to be returning home. "I will look for the others, who might be in their rooms right now...I want everyone to make sure that you have all of your luggage ready and that your weapons are with you. As soon as we land, the Venus will be going in for maintenance." The Reploids in the room nodded and Cyan smiled again. He walked out of the room and down the nearby hallway, knocking on doors as he went.
Revelation
Cyan went to the cabins and knocked on all the closed doors and as each were answered he told them all that in a few minutes, they were to land. Once he got to Angelus' cabin, he knocked. No one answered. He knocked again, yet no answer. He tried the doorknob and it wasn't locked. He opened the door and peeked inside. His eyes went to the ground, which had a blood tipped glaive and a blood tipped sword. His eyes trailed from the ground to the bed. The left side was leaked with blood. He opened it fully and looked inside to see a bleeding Angelus. The door swung open and he walked quickly to Angelus. There was a cut on the left side of her waist and a cut in her left hand. He looked her hand over and it was a deep stab from the Replication Blade. The blood kept seeping through her dress where she was cut. He ripped off enough to see how deep the cut was. It was pretty deep. Cyan walked outside and started to looked for something. Quietus walked over and asked Cyan, what was happening. "What's happening?" "Angelus is hurt. She's bleeding." "How?" "Visual dreams." "Visual...dreams?" "Yes. A visual dream is when you dream, but you are actually doing it in reality. So, if you cut off your hand in your dream, then you cut off your hand in reality. Angelus is lucky that she only was cut. Her glaive and sword are bloody." "What can I do to help?" "Get bandages, water, and rags. Also, get extra clothes for her." "Right." Quietus left the room while Cyan stayed in the room with Angelus. She was shivering a lot and still sweating. Her temperature kept rising and rising. When Quietus came back, she put the bowl of water next to Cyan and she handed him a rag. He dipped it in the water and let it soak. He looked to Quietus. "Close the door please and we need to cut off half of her dress." Quietus nodded and cut off an article of her clothing. It was deep. Cyan grabbed the rag and wringed it and then put it over her wound. Angelus flinched as Cyan cleaned the wound off. After it was cleaned, he grabbed her hand and cleaned it off as well. He then got up. Quietus stood there. "Help her. I will be outside." "Alright." Cyan opened the door and left. He closed it so that no on would enter. Quietus kneeled beside Angelus and removed her dress. She bandaged her waist and searched for something she could wear. She found a shirt and pants. After bandaging the hand and waist, she put it on. Quietus grabbed another rag and dipped it into the water. She wringed it out and moistened her face. Quietus looked to her and watched as she shivered.
Baron Samedi
Deep stood and stretched, fingers intertwining his fingers, pulling them apart. The blood-replacement serum flowed through them, giving a light prickly feeling; pins and needles. As he turned, heading towards the overhead locker where he had stashed his bag, he saw Cyan heading out of the corridor that located the rooms. Something on his expression was strange. Hurriedly grabbing his bag, and slining it ober his shoulder, Deep headed over to see what was happening. Deep: What is wrong? You look...strange. Cyan: It is nothing Steven. It doesn't matter, there has just been an...incident, thats all. With one of the Reploids. Uuh. Angelus. Deep: I hope it is nothing serious?.... Cyan: Have you heard of the phenomenon of visual dreaming? Deep: You mean like dreamwalking, but instead you are having a 'real' dream, and doing what you are in the dream? Cyan: Basically. Anyways, she has cut herself quite badly with her weapons. Don't say anything, she'll be alright she just needs some medical services. When we land which will be iminently, would you mind heading into the entrance hall. Behind the metallic blue vase is a small intercom button. Send a messsage to Yin- Medical help needed..... He proceeded to give Deep a rundown of the injuries and the equipment Yin would need. We will be landing in 1 minute. Please sit down and make yourself comfortable. There are strong crosswinds despite us being in a valley, so please buckle your seatbelts.
The Harlequin
Kattarin heard the announcement, let it wake her from her silent vigil. She made no move to rise, or even to shift position, though truly told she had no idea how long she had sat motionless...Not engrossed, merely watchful, of the seemingly fevered contortions in front of her. Though this reploid truly meant little or nothing to her, association and no more, a certain reluctance to have her death on her hands permeated Kattarin's previous actions, and hung, residual, on her mind now. The announcement came as something of a relief, for truly told, she knew little about the art of restoring life in any, even mechanised, form. Especially when the cause was something she was totally unfamiliar with. The idea that one's subconscious could be strong enough to affect the body was certainly not new to her, and she had heard cases of it before, but always with humans. She supposed she differentiated humans and reploids too much, especially for a reploid. But then, Kattarin never dreamed. Angelus made some small, quasi-pitiful noise, half a whimpering, unthinking plea for assistance, half a harsh denuciation that such should afflict her. Kattarin knew not how to assist, and would not have been likely to even if she had. Truly told, there was little more she could do, other than make her comfortable. That ensured, she attended to more pressing matters. At last, she rose, and left the room, fixing immediately on Cyan, who still watched the door with some anxiety. He quickly walked over, breaking off conversation with another reploid Kattarin had yet to recognise. As he strode quickly over, one could tell he feared the worst, most likely from Kattarin's presence outside the room. Kattarin: I assume there are adequate medical facilities at our apparently incipient destination? Cyan: So she's okay? Kattarin: She is what they would call stable, if perhaps in a bad way. She is still unresponsive, though not yet camatose, however there is nothing I, nor apparently anyone else on this vessel, can do to abet the injuries, or even to relieve whatever pain still registers. No doubt there has been a certain level of protective withdrawal, but I cannot ascertain to what extent. Cyan nodded, wordless, and slipped past Kattarin, taking a quick look at Angelus. She still lay where she had been left, though the occasional spasm had rearranged her limbs from any possible position of repose. Kattarin looked over his shoulder, and shook her head, her face expressionless. She stepped back an instant before Cyan began to turn, instinctively, perhaps, avoiding any possible incidental contact. Cyan noticed the seemingly excessive avoidance with a raised eyebrow, but was interrupted by a soft, almost unnoticable jolt before he could comment. Kattarin inclined her head, and checked the sheathe the ran up her back, a motion made indifferent by long habit. She swept away from Cyan without uttering a single word, thinking it obvious that he realised she had some other matters to attend to. Even if he didn't, after all, chances are things would become rather hectic rather quickly. Kattarin wasn't really concerned, she was more than prepared for the debarkment, and she felt confident she was also prepared for whatever else was to come. As for Cyan, he'd adjust. The rest of them were less important, given that they weren't the only one she was likely to have to pay heed to.
