Art A Final Fantasy 10/10-2 Music Video

Well, since this is the forum for "art and design" I figure this falls in as some kind of art.

It's basically a music video using clips from Final Fantasy 10 and the opening sequence from Final Fantasy 10-2. I managed to make it in less than a week (though the ideas were batting around long before then) and I'm honestly quite chuffed with the results.

The only problem is that you'll have to download it to see it, and you need the latest version of [url=www.real.com]RealPlayer[/url] to watch it. (It had to be RealPlayer otherwise we were looking at 200mb for 4mins worth O_o) -- The download you want for RealPlayer is the little box in the top right corner. They try to hide it so people have to pay to watch things.

So, I hope everyone enjoys it! ^_^;; I spent a good deal of time on it, so any critisisms would be greatly appreciated! ;)

[b]EDIT:[/b] Oops, forgot to tell you where the music was from ^_^ -- It's called "Real Emotion" and it's by a singer called Koda Kumi -- it's the actual opening song or theme (or whatever) for FFX-2. And don't ask me what the song's about (it's sung in Japanese), I can't find any translations of the lyrics! :(

Anyway, I really liked it. Very cool, and the parts where Yuna's dance moves (I think it was her, at least) were coordinated with the music were awesome. (I've never played FFX ... I didn't know she gets to be a pop star too ......)

There was one part I found a little strange. Somewhere in the middle, kind of at 2:30 or so, it seems like the music is sort of at an interlude, but you have battle scenes there. The slightly calmer music didn't seem to fit with the more exciting battles ... that's just me. I also found it a little odd when at 3:00 or so Auron appeared for the first and only time, because he hadn't been in any other parts of the music video.

Overall though, really nice job. I don't know the story of FFX really so maybe that's why those little parts didn't make sense :p. And I [i]really[/i] like the ending ... very cool! :D

[size=1] I wasn't able to watch it because you said we needed the latest version of Realplayer, so the only advice I can give you is to not make it so that it's only available on RealPlayer. It's annoying enough to just get a free trial of it...[/size]

[color=orangered][b]terra:[/b] The calm bit was a bit with lots of beats that I could hit easily. And I guess I was going for the calm before the storm kind of thing. O_o;; And the thing with Auron, I was focusing mostly on Tidus at that point and didn't realise [i]how much[/i] of Auron was actually in it until I watched it after reading your comment ^_^;; -- And yeah, the bits with Yuna as a pop-singer are from FFX-2 where she actually [i]is[/i] a pop-singer O_O;;

[b]maladjusted:[/b] You can watch it with the free RealPlayer, it just goes off to download something from the website when you try to run it. Let it download it's thing and it'll play no problem. It had to be RealMedia because, if it wasn't, you'd have to download [b]197MB[/b] to watch it -- I know I wouldn't sit waiting for that, and I'm not on a dail-up connection. That was my reasoning. Anyone can watch it, if they go to [url]www.real.com[/url] and download the RealPlayer (for free), it just downloads another plug-in to play the clip.[/color]
