A man with a tall lean, yet muscular body raised his arms and men and women with white angel war clothing was knealing behind him. He put his arms down and spread out his white wings to let them glow. The man was outside the small house waiting for Zoma to emerge. He closed his eyes for he knew what he must do. Their heads simetaneously turned southwest. Asphodel grabs her head and shreaks in pain, blood dripping from her nose and eyes. She leans her head toward the sky and cries out in agony, then a strange red, ora(forgive my spelling) of evil energy surronds her. "My Asphodel..what's happening to you!!! Oh, God! Please spare my angel!!! Please, DON'T PUNISH HER FOR MY ACTIONS!!!" Kiya screams angerly at the sky which was now churning the colors of blood red and black clouds. Asphodel's hands hit the ground, her soft strands of hair dangle from inside her hood which covered her face, her body trembling. "Kiya, help me..please help me, don't leave me.."her head lifts slowly and reveals her bloody face, she looks at Kiya who is crying at what she is observing. Slowly, the angel, once pure and white, is now black and filled w/hatred. "No! Asphodel!*grabs her shoulders and shakes* Don't let the hatred consume you, please, my love, do not let it take you over to the darkness!" Kiya's silver tears are running faster down her cheeks. "Kiya...I-I, I want to kill him..I want to kill him for what he has done...I HATE HIM!!!" with that Asphodel's black wings span out and gave one big flap and she was in the air. "God, you and I are now enemies!" "NOOOOO!!!*Kiya stands up* ASPHODEL!!! DON'T!!!!" out of her cloak a pair of blue and white flaming wings emerge and flap to catch up to Asphodel. "I have to stop her, I have to save her..I must..I must.." Kiya's tears fell like a springs rain.."Oh God, not her..I beg of you, please not her..Take me, take me.." Kyoki Reichou stood up. Zoma then realed back with her sai's, and then charged forwards trying to stabbed Kyoki Reichou. Yet some how Kyoki Reichou knew of this and jumped out of the way. Missing her sai's struk into the ground, and as she pulled them out Kyoki Reichou came back and sent Zoma flying. Only one sai's had been knocked loose, the other still in the ground. "And your a deamon correct? If so your not as strong as the others." Kyoki Reichou said, as he smirked. "I'm not like any of those you've faced before!" Kyoki Reichou looked to the side and jumped, and Zoma fallowed. Looking down there was a blast, coming from the other side of the rublem of what had been the house. Kovu was still over there fighting. As the two came down, the air was stained with the smell of blood. Azreal and his friend had gotten rid of some of Kovu's minions. Zoma looked up with red eyes, and attack towards the vulnerable spot in the adams apple, but he dodged barely. He jumped back and felt his right upper cheak to feel a scar that Zoma had made. He wiped it off and said, "Very nice, but you forget I am the savior of this war," Kyouki pointed at her, "Chuudan jinkei!" Zoma looked suprised, [I]Japanese?[/I] The follower now to the left of Kyouki bowed lower and dissapeared into mid air. Not noticing the gaurds she charged Kyouki, but was inturrupted by the gaurd in front of her now. The gaurd had an all white ninja outfit, he went into a fighting stance. Zoma, glaring with anger lifted her sai's but the rest of the gaurds took her arms and legs so she could not move, and the gaurd in front of her went behind and took both of his middle fingers into the back of her neck. Eyes glowing a brighter red, as Zoma's rage grew higher. Kyouki's laughter grew higher, his words rung in her head. "Can't you think of something," he said, "Or have you run out of opitions?" Zoma was able to left her head slightly, she looked up. Her eyes glew to an eeire bright red. "Gingetsu's Blood Rain!!!" Zoma screamed, at the top of her lungs. Her head then felled back down to only see the ground. Kyouki looked around, "And what was that ment to do?" After a short time, the area grew darker. Like the land was being covered in a shade of darkness. Soon, Kyouki felt a slight pain on his shoulder. He looked up, it was starting to rain. Kyouki put out his hand and caught some of the rain in his hand. It wasn't any form of water, it was blood. After he had found that it was blood, he felt shocks of pain go through him. His gaurds fell to the ground, with out a sound. They had been knocked out. Smal slits opened up on Kyouki's body. Letting air pass through, letting ore pain come. He then started bleeding. She jumped back, her tail flicking back and forth. Azreal took out his sword, and held his shoulder. Kovu baked slowly to Zoma. "Zoma! Go to the dark lord! He will heal you!" When Zoma started to protest, Kovu spun on her. "Go! I will not have a injured demon in my ranks!" Zoma nodded, and dissapeared. Kovu spun back to the archangel, and jumped, knarrowly dodging the archangels sword. She smirked. "You'll have to be faster than that, atleast, that is, if you want to catch this kitty." She is just hurting from human's pain, she didn't mean to say that to you...I will take care of your angel.* Kiya strokes Asphodel's silky hair and then falls asleep. "Kiya! Kiya, hurry up! The sun is about to set!"*Kiya begins to dream* "I'm coming, patience is a virtue Asphodel!"Kiya runs throught the fields of majestic, purple flowers. "Not right now it isn't! You only get to see the sunset one..." Asphodel's eyes twinkle as she looked over the pond that reflected the pinks, purples, and oranges of the sun's precious sunset. "You get to see the same sun every day." Kiya responed confused. The fresh, spring breeze blows through the angels hair as they both look outward. "No, you don't actually. It's like the river." Kiya looks at Asphodel who continues, "It's always changing, the colors, the postion of the sun, how fast or slow it sets...." Asphodel's voice trailed off. Azreal collided with the leader, who jumped onto his sword and vaulted back. "You're going to have to do better than that!" Azreal gripped his shoulder, but no blood came out. the wound glew a pearly white. "If my sword be your sanctuary, so be it. " He charged again, this time batting her with the blunt side of his sword. She was forced back as Azreal came in again. She jumped to the side of him and left another wound on his leg. "You're way too slow." "Grr..." He flew upwards and hovered over her. After a small while he came back down with a thundering crash, leaving a burn scar on the leader. "How could you kill so many people? They were unnarmed! Helpless!" She cocked her head back and laughed. "shouldn't you ask yourself that?" You followed me..you followed me into the Netherworld to find my soul. You died for me. You disobeyed God's word. You defied Him because of what He said about me...By the way, you never told me what He said..."Asphodel was now calm and relaxed. "He told me to leave you to the Reaper. He said you were responsible for my demise, for my defiance towards Him. I told Him all of what He said was wrong and that I would prove it to Him," Kiya runs her hand through Asphodels hair, "and I did..so you see, He was responsible for my demise and my defiance. If He wouldn't have said all of those things, then I wouldn't have defied Him. Right?" "....Uh, the pain again!" Asphodel grabs her abdomen. "What do you see?" "An angel and a servant of the Dark Lord, they are both struggling against eachother's intense power. The angel is being hurt. Kiya, we have to help him!" Asphodel stands up. Deflecting it right before it went deeper into the innocent girls neck. The girl grabbed her wound and ran of crying. Asphodel looks furiously at Kiya who's glaring back. "What the hells do you think you are doing!? Asphodel?! Stop laughing!!!" the crazed angel laughed hysterically at Kiya who was growing angry. "Do you want to be next?" Asphodel asked sadistically. Kiya closed her eyes, eyebrow twitching with irritation to what she had to do. Kiya raised her sword, flipped it to the dull side of the blade, and cracked it on the base of Asphodel's throat. Sending the estranged angel to the ground coughing and gasping for air. Blood dripped from her nose and her now bluing eyes looked helplessly at Kiya's serious face. Kiya knelt down and dug her thumbs into the sides of Asphodel's neck and stood up. The angel breathed in deeply and choked. "Kiya....I-I-..I am sorry. I disappoint you," Asphodel hangs her head in shame at Kiya's feet,"Please forgive me." "You know I hate to see you hurt, so you understand the pain it caused me to inflict you with pain. And the anger. I [i]never[/i] want to do that again." "Yes love," Asphodel still hung her head, her hair falls around her tear stricken face. "You need to concentrate on what you are fighting for, not on how you should fight. Your anger takes over you, and you let it go out of control. You can't fight your enemies with anger, Asphodel. Instead keep your mind focused on who or what you are fighting for. Surpress your anger and remember that I too am angery about this war, but we can't accomplish vitory with anger in our hearts. We have to fight with love, love of our God, love of our brethern, love of our lives, and love for eachother," Kiya knelt down to Aspodel and took her in her arms. "I will try Kiya. I will try." She lifted his hood with her blade and stepped back. Azreal had long white hair and icy blue eyes. He stood up to full hight, watching Kovu stumble back. "I-I don't belive it! Seth! You double crossed us!" "I was never on your side to begin with." He raised his sword high in the air as a mystic light encircled him. "Light of Aduin!" Suddenly, his wounds shrunk and dissapeared as the light broke into a mist. His flaming sword cut through the mist as it inched it's way closer to Kovu. With a sudden fluid motion, he brought his sword up across his chest. His eyes narrowed. Kovu frowned. "No matter, I'll kill you just the same." Azreal took off into the air just as Kovu dashed. She lept nimbly out of the way as he swung his blade at her. Azreal(Seth?) turned fast to look at her, almost sadly. "Well, Kovu," His eyes softened, but hardened in the same instant. "Or should I say, Selenay?" Kovu stumbled back, shocked. She kneeled as memories flooded over her. [I]I was Selenay before the Dark Lord took me... She launched a kick that only met air. Azreal flew up and landed on a roof. Kovu flipped up and they started dueling there. "Selenay, ypu've gotten weaker since the old days. The buildings burst into flames on whichever the two would land. Demon's swarmed every remaining building, slaughtering every soul, devouring their corpses. Asphodel clutches her stomach adn almost fell from the air like a stone. "Asphodel! Pay no attention to that feeling!!" Kiya grabs Asphodel's arm. "But Kiya, those are innocent people! It hurts!"the angel grimaced. "I know! It hurts me too! But you can't focus on the pain! That's what triggers your anger and takes over you! You cannot let that happen! I won't let it happen to you!!! Now concentrate!!" Kiya jerked Asphodel. "Right! Look, it's Azreal!" Asphodel points at a figure on his knee, a dark figure stood over him. [i] What the...[/i] He saw the group of demons and humans attacking the town, but in a flash it became humans running from demons. Azreal stepped back and time restored. He fell off the building and landed on the ground. Kovu looked down at him with a triumphant smile. "loose your footing?" "What was that?!" He yelled up at her. "What was what?" Azreal growled and leaped off the ground. He kicked Kovu in the stomach, and then in the head. She stumbled back and held her head. Azreal charged forward and Kovu flipped over him. Azreal flew high in the air, spotting two figures in the distance. A forboding sense came strong from one of them. [i] Is that Asphodel? It can't be... She noticed the two other figures in the sky and ran towards where they were. She noticed a large bird and she walked up to it. She spoke softly to it and it let her ride. As she got on, the bird flew higher and higher and faster and faster. Soon, the two were close to Azreal and Kovu. She noticed that Azreal was not paying attention to the Dark helper that was running towards him. Saffire pointed down and it dive bombed down to the ground, but Saffire jumped off before it could get hurt. She dropped down and drop kicked Kovu.[/i] "Aah! Who are you?" "A friend of Azreal's, the Captain and Supreme Warrior of my village, the Valkyrie of my nature of state. I am Saffire. A Sorcery Warrioress." "You have made a mistake." "No, I have not. Azreal! Pay attention! And I should say, this is not my fight. I only helped my friend." "What?" "Azreal, pay attention!" "Grr. Selenay, you must remember!" "NOO! My name is not Selenay!" [i]The Dark Helper ran towards Azreal and he stood there, attack ready. Saffire looked up to the figures and saw that one of them was about to fall. She called for the bird and and it flew up. The angelic figure fell and the bird caught her. It flew down and the other figure followed closely. The bird brought her down and Saffire stood by the bird. The figure came down and she looked to her.[/i] "Back off, human! You have no business here." "In fact, I do. You may think I am an enemy, but I am not. I am here to help Azreal. He says I am a Warrior of the Prophet. But anyways, will she be alright?" "I am not sure. She seems very weak." "Here. Hold my sword. I know a spell that may be able to help her. Goriyaku." [i]Saffire put her hands over the angel's stomach and said those words. After the spell was done, she looked to her and waited. Soon, the angelic figure looked to the two figures and sat up slowly.[/i] "It worked. But I am not sure how long. I did not introduce myself. I am Saffire. I am sorry, I forgot to thank you. Oh, my name is Kiya Prelyndria, an angel of the Elite Warrior of God. This is Asphodel, she too is an Elite Warrior of God angel. Thank you for your help, but she will be fine," Kiya stood up with Asphodel. "Yes, thank you. I do feel better,"Asphodel stroked her hair. "You are most welcome, angel,"Saffire bowed slightly. Asphodel blushed. Kiya looks up to catch Azreal's disbelieving stare. [i]Why are you still up there? And don't you know Kovu is raising her blade? [/i] Azreal turned around shocked and stabbed Kovu in the leg. Disabled from moving she growls. "I will deal with you later..."she disappeard into a portal. Azreal stood up[i] Thanks Angel Kiya. "Azreal, that woman was calling you Seth." "Yes. After spending a year as a human, for a short time my veins were damned and my flesh was that of fallen angels. I decieved my way into hell and became a minion." Saffire nodded and Azreal turned back to Asphodel. "Listen, there's something very important I need you to know. These people. They were killing with the demons but-" "Azreal, every human soul here was innocent, I felt them being slaughtered by... dear lord. Azreal, you didn't..." Azreal shut his eyes and turned away. She is my other half, as I am the angel of darkness, and er light. She held me captive, but I broke free with the dark lords help. Now I am the master.? She lept from the builduing, leathery wings srouting from ner back. Azreal followed, but held back when a flare of light lit up. For a split second he saw two angels, katanas crossed, on Kovu the other Selenay. Selenay slew the dark angel. Another busrt followed it, and Azreal watched as Kovus features changed, her hair ligthing and lengthining, her eyes turned blue, and her skin paled. Her wings turned feathery, and the archangel plummeted as she lost conciousness. ********************************************** Im going with the last post from Tsukasa_hack before this one.
