who want`s to share dreams?

this thread is for people who want to shre thei`re dreams with the rest of the board.
i made this thread because i dream a lot, long, strange, beatifull, scary and wile i am awake.
so you know this is more then just dreaming wile asleep.

for instance, an odd one.
more dreams of mine lasted longer then the original time i slept.
the longest lasted for 200 years, and when i woke up, only a night passed.

all sorts of strange things like that i want to discuss with everybody who wants to.

so send in those dreams.

Umm..why don't you describe your dreams? Then that way more ppl would be interested in posting, motivation is the key word...I had a dream last week that I was in some sort of laboratory I was being chased throught it while all these scientists chased me and all the doors were locked..what it's suppose to mean I have no idea..I have this book on dream interpretations so if anyone wants to know what their dream means shout it out and I will look it up for you..

IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!

Okay I have 2 bothers, a 5 year old and a 10 year old.

In the dream, me and the 10 were walin along when we saw the five walking around this big tree with a 1 foot gate around it collecting pac-man items. I told him to let me handle i. So here I am walking around a tree collecting pac-man items when suddenly the fence turns into a 10 foot wooden fence that cicles about 20 feet from the tree. All of us are trapped when from around the corner of the tree comes this friggin 30 foot tall, 20 foot wide bear and night is turned to day. So any way we ruuna little and I do this cool think where I flip over the fence, latch my legs on the branch and go over. But then I notice the 10 is still trapped (the five semmed to dissapear). So I go back in to save him and I help him do the flip thing and the bear is now after me. So anyway i do the flip thing but after I do it I suddenly end up right back in the fence! And 2 more times after that! Ten the bear reaches down and grabs me by the legs and throws me out into the forest. Sudenly Im in first-person view (unusual in dreams) and after flying around 200 feet Im about to run into a tree when suddenly I wake up. I FREAK!!! My whole body was asleep so I felt paralized but I realize it was a dreem.

ok i am followed by images wile walking on a landscape.
the immiges come with millions at a time, showing nothing but death scenarios of alien sort of creatures on humans.
then it stops and a sort of pod falls down right beside me.
i look inside of it when it opens, and directly starts a 3d holographic image talking a strange language and then it says in english to me: you are the chosen one.
then out of a container comes a pill.
the hologram says: this makes your sensory block go away.
after taking this, train and come back in this pod.
the hologram stops.
i hesitate but i take the pill.
then i get more images through and i pass out.
i wake up either there or in my bed.
there it continues.
i start to instinctively walk to a big rock, and i smash it into gravel.
then i walk to dead tree and blow against it, the tree starts to flourish and live again, i am filled with joy and then i wake up.

I had a dream I had black turnups growing out of my back. I pulled them out and then there were giant holes. Spikes grew out of the holes and blood poared down my back, but it didn't hurt until I sat or leaned the spikes against something.

I had that for like a week, It really kept me awake for a while.
I'm still really not sure what it ment.

I remember a topic on dreams too, but haven't seen it recently, so it's probably kind of old.

I don't usually remember my dreams but had a really freaky one recently, because it felt [i]so[/i] completely real.

There are three guys from my real life involved, let's call them Pat, Dan, and Eric (completely random names). So, Dan is my current real-life boyfriend. In the dream, I was engaged to Pat (it was about five years in the future, I was twenty-four or so). The oddest thing was I had asked him to marry me ... over AIM. Anyway, so on the day of our wedding, I got really freaked out and ran over to Eric and he made me feel better ... and we kissed. (Remember, this is the day I'm supposed to be marrying Pat.) Then I realized I didn't really have any feelings for Eric, and that I really wanted to marry Dan. But since Pat and I were getting married [i]that day[/i], I didn't know what to do ...

So yes. It sounds rather incoherent, as dreams tend to, but it felt so real that when I was half-waking up I remember very clearly thinking, [i]Oh, my God, I really really really hope this is a dream because I don't know how to handle it otherwise.[/i] These also were all real people and I seldom dream about real people. It thoroughly scared me :p.

well in my dream, I'm being followed by this crazy human (don't know what gender) with a short sword in his hand, it seemed to hack every door I had gone through, until it finally got me! then I was transported at a ball room in a sort of a castle... wierd???

"Back when I was in highschool, I had this teacher that, well, let's just say his sexual preference was ambiguous. Oh, it turns out that he had a girlfriend. Well, years later, my brother, CS has him as a teacher. ANYWAYS, I had a dream that I was doing a project for his class again. I spent my whole dream running around trying to get my project done on time. At the end of my dream, I finally get to his class, with my project. But in my class, something's different about him. Really different. He's is acting like a complete homosexual stereotype. From the earring in the right ear, to the body gestures, to the clothes he wore. He looked, sounded, and acted like one of the guys from the "Queer eye for the straight guy" show.

Now, was it a manifestation of what I subconciously perceived him as, or was it my brain's sad attempt at a joke?"

One time I was an Emperor in a car park, and I was talking to my Advisor, and someone pushed a trolley into me, and I chucked a spaz at them o.0 What is wrong with me?

I keep having this dream about a movie called "MONTAUK", where I live ( It is the farthest east you can get on Long Island. ) It's about hurrican Isabell. Anyway.. The hurrican comes throught the town destroying everything. In the dream I see houses flying all over the place. Everyone is in the firehouses basement, which has a lot of frozen food and water. I don't know, I guess it was like "The Perfect Storm"(Which that movie was based in the ocean off Montauk.) But everyone comes out of the firehouse and looks around. Nothing was there. Only debree. In 1938 a category 5 hurricane hit Montauk and destroyed everything. History might repeat itself.

Firstly dream creature that chase you are actualy a part of your subconcious that act as a barrier, if you can defeat them or face them you usually gain something from your subconcious (spiritual well being, a song, pictures, peace of mind, depper more interesting dreams etc.).
The repetition part of your dream is common with nightmares and is actually something that can be overcome...I'll get onto this in a moment.
The part where you were paralised is called sleep paralasis, this is where you 1\2 wake up,. you're concious but the movement parts of your mind are usually asleep.

Onto that repetition dream of mine. I had this many years ago and was a turning point in my dreaming. I was running through a bunch of hexagonal rooms with a heaxagonal comumn in the middle. The side and middle of these rooms were filled with alcoves with burning people and skeletons reaching for me. I knew that if they touched me I would become like them so I had to get out. I ran to the exit and entered the same\identical room. I kept going but the room kept repeating. I just got angry and 'forced' my dream to leave the room, I was touched by one on the way out but didn't care if i became like them cause I hopped into a car which was waiting with a friend t the wheel and dove off. I think this was my first lucid dream (I posted about lucid dreaming in an earlier thread, if you don't know what it is look for it).

I've had one dream twice, but only when I had some sort of weird, feverish feeling, like I was sort of sick, but not. Anyway I'm on a white plane (not an airplaine, kind of like a plane of existence) and there is a big black glob. I have an opponent, or if not that, then some sort of resistance. There are three consciousnesses (referees/judges?) that I can't really perceive except for that they are different and they communicate. The object of the "game" was to push the glob around mentally, trying to move it to one side or the other, or split it, or combine it. I don't really know the rules, just that there were some while I was dreaming, and I knew what I had to do. "I" wasn't touching the glob, but I willed it to move against the will of my resistance, and it seemed to go on for a long time. I don't know if I "won" or not, because it was a long time ago. At the time I had it, I was in my early teens, and it was indescribable. I knew it was weird, though, really, really weird.

I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamt that I tied my hair back with some sort of wierd rubber band, and it turned me into a boy.

I think some other people were with me and they did the same thing. *twitch* But before that, some other wierd crap happened that was totally unrelated to that, but I don't remember well.

And I remember turning back into a girl by the end of the dream. I was glad, too. O_O I did some strange stuff in that dream.[/color]

WHAT?!?!?! Wht does that mean? I meant like when you get that werd tingly/spikey feeling like your body parts have fallen asleep, well I woke up and my arms and legs felt like that and the first thing I thought was "Im paralized on the forest floor." Then i looked over and realized it was 5:30....

well dreams can be dangerous too, like this one.
i was on a battlefield and i stood on a hill with a M-16.
then i heard a wistle and i jumped down off the hill, an explosion followed, i was safe but i cut my arm on a sharp stone.
there was a 5 inch cut on my left arm.
i wenty back up the hill and i was shooting like a madman.
then i was hit in the chest and i woke up.
my chest was hurting like hell and there was still the cut on my left arm.
and i have nothing in the area of my room where i sleep that could have created those injuries.
and another weird thing happened it was 10 minutes action where it all happened but i slept a whole night.

and then for the real looking things.
i dream all my dreams as i would live normaly.
full collor i like to call it.

and so dreams can be warnings and precognitions.
or they are fears of real life that come back as a dream.
to face them is to face your fears.
but be warned always stay one step ahead of your experiences, trust te senses that you never used before.
it can help you in your dream, like this: if you believe you can fly in your dream, you can fly!!

well, i had one really funny/freaky dream.

I was at wal-mart with my bffl, and we were talking and looking at clothes. I got bored-okay to this part my brother said, apokalypse!- and decided to try something. i crouched behind a shelf and said in my mind, cheetah, over and ove again. my best friend comes ove and she sad, omg, your a cheetah! then she did the same thing. i looked like a cheetah and so did she! i looked like regular old me to myself, but to everi1 else i was a cheetah. only they werent scared.

hmm...i had a really strange dream....
i dreamed that everyday my dad would hug me and tell me that he loved me. one day, he didnt, and i didnt know why. i got angry, because i thought he was trying to distance himself from me, so, i used my "powers" (i knew what they were in the dream, but, when i woke up, all i could remember was that i had them)
in the end, he said he "felt" my powers grow stronger, and wanted to see how much stronger they got before he wanted contact with me.
if that isnt weird, i dont know what is.

Thats intersting.... the funny thing about the bear one is I wasnt scared until when I was flying but [B] I WAS ONLY SCARED BECAUSE IT WAS DAYTIME!!! [/B] Im seriouse! In that dream when I was flying I scramed AAAA!! For 2 seconds then I thought "why is it suddenly daytime?" then I awoke. I just realized that. Anyway a funny dream I had was, It was in my house... it was all black and white... there was no sound... and a disembodied hand was after us!!! But who is us? A short guy with a mustache like those old movie stars who I think was supposed to be me, and three other guys who looked like me but taller. Now this was 3 years ago and me 5 year old bro was 3. He had a baby oriented room. And here we are, three grown men, crammed in the corner screaming (apparently) because a disembodied hand is after us. The dream was 6 seconds long...

Xaru..to dream of a hurricane blowing your house to bits adn you survive means that you will suffer a change, to look upon the debris signifies that you will come very close to trouble...

dark king..battle signifies striving w/difficulties, if you are victor then things will smooth out, if you are defeated..it means that bad deals made by others will mar your prospects for good..

In the meeting I was proven worthy to be in the gang. After I get my guns and stuff... this guy comes running in and starts shooting all the members of the gang. I am not hit and is left there just staring at the guy. He notices I'm still alive and starts shooting at me. So I run away and he starts chasing me and he starts yelling," Get back here you stupid b**ch!!" So I run faster and lose him along the way. For some reason I end up at my school. I run through the halls and find the guy waiting in the commons. He has this sharp rope thingy and says that he is gonna slit my throat... he keeps walking closer and closer. Then I whip out my gun and aim. The bells ring and kids rush to class.. as do I. The guy does not follow. When I get to my first class, no one seems to care that I'm covered in blood and have a gun and knives. So I sit through the class and I then go to my second class. When I walk in I see other people that arn't in that class, so I ask," Why are these people here?" Then my teacher says," Well, to protect you of course."
That was a really weird dream. I was going to be the only girl in that gang too. But note, that before I went to bed I was playing Grand Theft Auto 3. So that is where I got the gang and gun stuff... I'm guessing. I have tons of other dreams too. But this is all I will post for now.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Anime_Forever...flying signifies alot of things, you have to be a little more specific, like were you falling while flying, flying high or low, flying over muddy water, did you have wings and what color were they? ...but from what you described I can't really give you an accurate presumtion...

Adahn..please describe your dream once more for me..

Foxy....being shot at signifies unhappiness between married couples or sweethearts becuz of overwhelming selfishness..This dream is also indicative of unsatisfactory tasks cuz of negligence..Running away from danger is a sign that you will be threatened w/ losses, and you will despair of adjusting matters agreeably..

Awhile ago I had a dream similar to Conna's..exept I got shot in the stomach by a double barrel shotgun, and I felt the sensation of dying..this meant that I was gonna face an unexpected event w/ a good friend that wasnt going to be good, but I woke up before I died so that meant I would reconcile w/this person..and what happened me and my good friend had a huge argument but we made up...creepy huh?
