Torlea spun around to face Dango. "S-s-sir? Are you alright?" Dango calmed don and growled," I told you to go inside! Ahh- nevermind. Go get me a thick sirlion from the bucher." Torlea nodded, and took off running before Dango could change his mind. She slipped her hand back into her pocket, and felt the tiger-eye stone pulse with energy. She slid to a stp, and put her hands on her knees, panting. She sat down, back to the wall. She was in an alley. She held the stone to her face, and it pulsed stronger. Her body warmed up. HEr strength returned, faster than normal. She stood up and got Dango's sirlion. She sprinted. She saw a girl laying out in her yard, and stopped her mad dash. She walked quietly to the girl, and gently shook her. The girl blinked, still half asleep. "Wh-wha'?" Suddenly the girl was awake. "Your guard will kil you!" Torlea shook her head. "No. He gave me permission to go out. WHats your name? Im Torlea."

[SIZE=1][I] Dango walked into his office and glared around the room. He sat down on his computer, and laughed. The only thing that calmed him down, was a game of ExtremeHunterXD. It was the perfect game for him. It had gore, gore, hunting, gore, gore and hunting. The game used to be based on hunting animals, but now it's animals, dinosaurs and...humans. The only problem was, that the humans ran off, and you couldn't catch them. Dango clicked on his computer and grinned. He picked a weapon called 'The GXT Mad dog's bow.'
"Nothing like a game of hunter calms my soul..." He quietly said.

He played on it for along time. Until he got really mad with the computer.
"HOW CAN I FIND THE BIG DINO'S WHEN I CAN'T EVEN MOVE WITH THEM STUPID RAPTORS!?" He yelled. He bashed his head off the computer, then he looked up.
"The girls been gone along time..." He said. He walked out of his office, and picked up his sword and coat.
"I think I shoudl go look around." He said. He walekd outside, and looked around. He walked along with his handsa in his pockets.
"I wonder where she is...." He grinned. He looked up at the cold night sky, his spin chilled again, as his memory of his borther haunted him.[/SIZE][/I]

"My name's Taka." Taka shivered. Even though it was still early, the night was falling fast, bringing a chill with it. She stared at the girl, who had very cool black hair streaked with gold. She brushed at her own green hair, picking some leaves out of it. "Are you sure that your dog guard won't get mad? I mean, some have terrible tempers. Mine- well, anyway, you won't be punished?" Taka asked. "Oh no, he sent me to the butcher's for a steak." the girl called Torlea replied. "Well you should hurry. There's a long line tonight." Taka smiled dryly. "It seems that every dog guard in the city wants meat tonight." She tried to stand, but a sharp ache in her back made her gasp in pain. "Are you alright?" Torlea asked, concerned. "Yeah, I just was late tonight, and... well he got angry. I've had worse." Taka glanced at the window. "He's been terrible to my sister lately, and when I try to stop him, he takes his anger out on me. I suppose I'm getting used to it." Taka pushed herself against the tree, and Torlea gave her a hand up. When they touched, a jolt ran up each of their arms. "Yeow! Some static, eh?" asked Torlea. "Yeah, really. But you'd best go, before your dog guard comes searching. They were exchanging emails when Taka saw Shay at the window. He started for the door. "Oh no- please, go now!" Taka cried, pushing Torlea down the street. "Is he angry with you?" she asked. "Please- just go now." Taka was almost shouted in desperation. Torlea set off down the street, just as Shay came into the yard. "Were you talking to someone?" Shay yelled. "No, sir." Taka replied. "You're lying! You're not permitted to speak with anyone without permission. He grabbed her by the arm and tossed her against the tree. "Must I break you so that you won't break rules?" Shay screamed, ramming her further into the tree. Taka felt something crunch, but couldn't tell where. Everything hurt to much. Shay finally got bored and set her down, walking inside and muttering to himself, while Taka clutched her whole body, shaking. "Make it stop, please make it stop." she mumbled.

Dango walked along. He heard some one running, so he hid behind a tree waiting... He saw some one with the corner of his eye, then he jumped out and grabbed them by the arm. he growled loudly. Then, he saw it was Torlea.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" Yelled Dango.
"Oh, sorry sir. The line was alot longer than I had exspected." Torlea said. Dango's temper rose.
"This better never happen again!" Dango dagged Torlea backt o the house. He was still angry about the computer game. He twitched as he walked back. [/I][/SIZE]

Serena felt some thing surge through her. was it fear? no, it was more...it was, rejuvinating. Serena started to giggle. what ever it was it tikled. it was really tikling her. serena started to laugh uncontrolably.

"what the hell is so funny? Do you not understand that your life is on the line?"

Serena couldn't stop laughing and fell to the floor. "Make-It-please- m-make it -stop" she pleaded in between laughs.

Max looked at her confused then stepped back. "What the hell..."

[I] Dango sat on his chair. His eyes flicked up on Torlea. She was sat down at the other end of the room. Dango looked around the room. A brown dog wondered in.
"S-sir!" The brown dog walked up to Dango, and handed him a small letter. Dango read through.
"why are you still here?" He growled at the brown dog. "Get out fo my site..." Dango growled. The brown dog hurried out. Dango growled loudly again. He threw the letter on his desk. He began to mumble things.
"Stpuid....dog....horrible...nastly...little things..." He mumbled.[/I][/SIZE]

Taka woke up again, during the night. "Jeez, why can't I just sleep till morning?" she grumbled, trying to warm up by rubbing her hands. Then, she saw that someone had set a bottle of water, a cheese sandwich, and a box of bandages on the grass next to her. Taka broke into a grin, in spite of her aches and worries. "Whoever did this, thank you so much" she said through mouthfuls of food. She bandaged some of her more painful cuts and scrapes, and felt much better. Suddenly, the hairs on the back of her neck went stiff. Someone was watching her. She whirled around to see Shay above her. "You're not sleeping." he growled. "I-I'm not sleepy." Taka answered, trying to hide the food. "Well, try harder" Shay said, and went back inside, as Taka let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank gods! Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, and curled up to try and get some sleep.
