lea Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 what is bad about having the 10 commandments in the public? if you think about it, the 10 commandments are the basis for laws (no stealing and such) and the basis for most people's moral values (nope, you CAN'T covet your neighbor's wife) so, why are some people trying to get rid of them from public buildings where they are displayed? is it because of the religiouse connotations? what are your veiws on the subject? should they be allowed to be up, or should they be taken out? I guess some non-christians didn't want the Ten commandments in a courthouse (I think this is the matter at hand) Because of the no religion and state thing we have to push everywhere.
