Blackness covered the sky, as the battle raged on. Aruzan began to retreat with the others but he saw A masked figure holding two guns. It resembled Miazmodon but his hair is longer and tattoos cover his chest. the figure flickers as it steps closer to the battle. Carmize lets go of aruzan and step towards The man and stops infront of him. [B]I want you to help her.[/B] She says coldly and without fear. He looks down at her and tilts his head , and nods. [I]I Will do as you ask....[/I] He looks back up and walks up to Aruzan and nods to him and says. [I]Even if oyu dont know it, your destiny and theres are now one....[/I] He hesitates and taps his gun to his mask.[I]As well is mine...[/I] He says kindly,[B]I dont understand, stop speaking in choped up sentences...[/B] Miazmodon laughs.[I]All you need to understand is your role, your and your ....friend are keys.... but ryu...he is somthing different......[/I] He steps closer to the battle and stops pointing each crimson gun at both Ryu and chinkan.

Ryu finally batted off the flames and looked back at Chinkan. "Nice work. But you made one fatal flaw..."
"???"
"I'm not dead yet." Chinkan growled. [i] I can't let him spot the moon, or he may try to escape! [/i]
"I can hear you. I've noticed the moon, but I can not run from a battle. Not to worry, I'll kill you and make my exit before the hours over." He grinned at her and dissapeared. He reappeared above her and came thundering down. "It isn't polite to copy." Chinkan said before dissapearing herself. She reapeared behind him and tried to hit him with a roundahouse, but Ryu dissapeared. The battle continued in flashes, neither one of them staying anywhere for more than a second. Finally they both appeared in front of each other and socked each other across the face. They landed on the roof, gasping for breath. "He-he-he-he... y-your definately -a-a strong one..." Ryu gasped out. In an instant Chinkan's foot was on his chest and her blade at his face. "Thanks." Ryu twisted around and rolled away from under her foot. He sprung back up and produced a spike. "Seventy years for this power... [b]seventy years[/b] trapped in a library, only reports of deranged men at either side... until they came and took it all away..."
"Who came?" [i] Just 45 minutes... keep him talking for 45 minutes. [/i]
"That is the end of my story. I don't want to keep talking, for 45 minutes..." He cackled at Chinkan's shock. "Don't worry, I can't read your mind. Or say, I can't pry into your mind. I can only get those vital side notes, that human brains fail to protect..." He grinned and held up his spike. "No more breaks." He readied to launch the spike, when a gunshot rang through the air. It obliterated the spike and bloodied his hand. Ryu growled and scanned the area. "Where are you... coward!" Chinkan maneged to take that time to get close to Ryu and deliver a kick to his ribs. Ryu started to fall back, but regained his composure enough to claw Chinkan across the face.

[color=royal blue]"Oww, okay, that one really hurt!"Chinkan laughed sarcastically. Another gunshot and her sword flew through the air. She and Ryu growled and looked around.

"You two really should learn how to fight,"it was the masked man. He laughed at both red faces.

"Get the f~~k out of here! This is not your fight!" Ryu belted.

"Oh, on the conterary. I believe I am part of this fight,"the man's voice smooth and relaxed.

Ryu looked at Chinkan who glared at the man. "Why were you spying on me and Azuran?"

"I wasn't spying, I was waiting for the opportunity,"he chuckled.

"Hey woman..."Ryu began.

"I have a name, it's Chinkan. Use it,"she spat and narrowed her eyes at Ryu. He took back a bit.

"Well, Chinkan. We should continue this later, I say we take this creep out first,"Ryu's voice lowered.

"Sure, your call. I would rather continue our fight, but it looks like we're just going to get interrupted again,"Chinkan cooly anounced as she watched the porclean face light up with the flames.

Both took their stances.[/color]

:demon:The smoke from his guns slowly disapates. Ryu and Chinkan charge at him in a blaze of power and fury. Miazmodon stands still and watches as Ryu opens his hands to reveal very sharp claws, and Chinkan's hands inveloped with flames.
[I]oh, this is gonna......[/I] Ryu slashes down at miazmodon as Chinkan fires a piller of flame at him. Miazmodon's body falls to one knee and smolders. [B]That was to easy.[/B] says Ryu. Suddnly a arm wraps around chinkans neck and flips her in the air. Ryu turns around only to meet a steel-toe boot to the face. Miazmodon then pics his guns up from where he was standing and fired them both at Ryu and Chinkan while they were in mid air. Chinkan lands first then gets up.[B]you Basterd.[/B] she sticks her finger into the bullet wound and pulls out a glowing bullet. Ryu lands on his feet and spits the bullet out of his mouth.[I] That son of a b~tch shot me in the neck![/I] Chinkan and Ryu looks at Miazmodon as he places his guns down. [I]Yeah, I made those bullets so they would be able to pierce into the body of Higher demons... Makeing you easy to h....[/I] Ryu throws a spike into the temple of Miazmodon's mask cracking it. Then Chinkan picks up her sword, and smashes the mask dead in the center. Everything seem to pause as the Mask splits and shatters from his face. Miazmodon punches chinkan hin the stomach and throws her into Ryu. Ryu catches her and they both ready there weapons. Ryu emits his Death Dimention blade, as Chinkan's flames cover even her sword making it sparkle in white flames. [B]Ready to die freak?[/B] Ryu taunts.[I]you......you will not kill me....Fate ends to soon if you do that......[/I] Miazmodon lifts his head and His face becomes clear. He resembles an Ice queen of sorts. His skin is unmarked and sorft looksing yet his pale icy lips and skin make him look frozen.
[I]Now who will attack me again?.....I think you might want to move a bit faster.....[/I] His expressionless face sends a chill to both Ryu and Chinkan. Miazmodon clips his guns to his sids and makes a Runic symbol into the air and thrusts his hand into it, Pulling out a Crimson blade with purple Runes. [I]Now, you will learn the Beauty that sleeps within battle.......[/I]

[color=royal blue]"Your arrogance is really starting to irk me,"Chinkan's sword brightly pulsated with flames.

"You've said it," Ryu muttered. As soon as Chinkan opened her black eyes she disappeared.

"Wha-oooff!" the man fell to the ground grabbing his stomach. He looked up to see Chinkan standing over him. One of her high heeled boots on his throat. She drew a dagger from her thigh holster and raised it in the air.

"Heh, don't think too highly--" he was interrupted.

"Shut up,"Chinkan's voice was surprisingly smooth and cool. She then dug her heel into his throat. The man struggled, but could not budge her leg. With a wink she threw the dagger into his chest. She jumped and flipped in the air and held out her hands, she shot a flaming spear into his stomach.

".....Chinkan.."Ryu was stunned as the man stood up, pulling out the dagger from his chest.

He attempted to grab the spear but it was absorbed into his body. He looked at Chinkan glared lifting her right hand. Then a sinister smile split her face as he twitched. She flenched her fist and the man fell to his knee. She release her fist and spread her fingers apart, the man was lifted into the air and spread eagle. He had no control of his body, he looked at Chinkan who was expressionless and the ring on her index finger glowed.

"What are you..doing..to..me?!" he struggled to talk, his entire body was in agony.

"Chinkan..."Ryu startled.

[i]Attack Luna!! Attack him now, my spell won't last much longer![/i]

With that Ryu lept into the air and produced two spiked swords...[/color]

[Squall]

"Eat THIS!!" Ryu crossed his arms slashed at Miazmodon. He came down with his cloak strung over his blades. Miazmodon stood on a rooftop, the cloak somehow still draped across him. He aimed carefully at Ryu. His cold blue lips twisted into a demented smile. "LUNA! GET DOWN!" Ryu looked to Chinkan. "What?" repeated gunshots filled the air as Ryu crashed against the wall. His eyes stopped flaming, as he looked at the moon. It hung over the hillside and dipped into the valleys. "m-magnificant. Tw-twenty minutes left." Chinkan looked to him in shock, but then up at Miazmodon. She growled and started scaling the side. Ryu watched, thinking to himself.
[i] I didn't have... enough vampire blood... the only thing I overlooked... I would have been able to... defeat both weaknesses... and become... undefiable... [/i]

[I]oh, Chinkan.... I didnt know you wanted to kill me so bad.... But you can not kill what you can not feel...[/I] He falls of the edge of the building towards chinkan. As soon as the connect he bursts into purlpe and white sand. Suddenly chinkan began to loose momentum and her foot sliped form under her and she fell before she could reach the top of the building, And all of the rage and hate that once filled her hart fadded.Meanwhile Miazmodon appers on the ground holding the ring, he placese it on his finger. [COLOR=crimson]" I should never rush fate...."[/COLOR] Chinkan falls only to be caught by Miazmodon. He wals over to Aruzan and smiles. [I]This must be yours....[/I] He lightly chuckels. Chinkan gets up ans pushes Miazmodon away. Ryu slips around a building and trys to sneak off. Miazmodon quickly spots Ryu, but them decides to ignore him. Miazmodon walks over to one half of his mask and kneels on one knee. then runs his hand on the engraved tear. Carmize and Narika walk up to him and carmize places her cold hand on his shoulder. [B]Why dont you stay with us?[/B] she says naively. his smirks and tilts his head toward her.[I]I dont think Im welcome.....[/I]

[color=royal blue]"Chinkan.."Azuran called after her as she sprinted down the street after Ryu.

He glared at the Miazmodon, but before he could say anything he was gone. Azuran and the two girls went after Chinkan who was now too far to be seen.

[i]Damn him! That was not his business to interfere! It wasn't his fight! Ryu...[/i] Chinkan was fuming. Her blood boiling as she thought of Miazmodon interrupting their fight.

"Hey!"a hand slapped her mouth shut and an arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her away from the side walk. It was Ryu's raspy voice just above a whisper. He was hiding in the shadows of the ally. He slammed her against the brick wall. It started to rain.

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph! You scared the spit out of me!" her voice rasped in a loud whisper.

"Why do you follow?" thinking it was Azuran and the others,he leaned on her as the group of people ran by. He leaned back a little bit. Still close enough to see into her eyes, even though it's black.

"I want to continue our fight. I think 15 minutes will be enough time," her smile was that of an excited child.[/color]

[Squall]

Ryu couldn't help but grin. "I'm outta grenades, so killing normal people wouldn't be much fun. Why not?" Chinkan grinned to match his, and they scaled to the roof.
The pale moon was cut in half by the trees and houses in the distance. The light sent shadows across the two as they stood on opposite sides. Chinkan's hands glew with fire as a death dimension blade shot out of Ryu's wrist. In a signal that seemed only they could see, they took off sprinting at each other. They clashed and rebounded in close combat, neither one backing down or letting a weakness show through. They both flipped back, breathing heavily. "There. Now let's bring it up a notch." Ryu flipped off the side of the roof onto the fire escape next door. Chinkan dove after but missed and tumbled through the window. Ryu came crashing in to be kicked through the roof. Chinkan darted up and was met with a punch through the wall, into another apartment. Ryu launched himself through the hole but crashed through the floor before Chinkan could counter. In mere seconds they both came soaring out of the building before it collapsed. The two landed on the back of a delivery truck and fought on it until they reached the freeway. Ryu leaped from car to car, flipping some and causing many accidents. Chinkan followed closely behind.

After a few minutes the fight led them through the road and onto a subway train. "That's good Chinkan..." Ryu came to a kneel before pushing himself back up. "I've been waiting for this for so long... come, make me feel truly alive!"

[color=indigo]"Alright, just remember you asked for it!" Chinkan charged forward against the force of the wind, flying through it like a hot knife in butter.

She brought her sword up and swung at Ryu, he blocked with his death deminsion blade. He gave her a slight shove. The force of the wind sent her reeling back, but she planted her sword in the ceiling of the train and slid back to a stop. She looked up to see Ryu disappear, then he reappeared behind her. She spun around and shot a fire wall in his face.

"Hahaha! Yes, Chinkan! Release your anger on me!" Ryu started laughing, throwing his head back.

He looked back only to be met with Chinkan's elbow into his nose. He bent over and Chinkan grabbed his head and kneed him once more in the face. And before he could fall to his hands and knees, she kicked him in the chest. This time he got the opposing winds and fell harshly onto the tracks.

Chinkan breathed in with delight and jumped after Ryu. She landed standing over him. She sat ontop of him and giggled at him. Ryu looked up at her and smiled back.[/color]

[Squall]

"I... I felt that, Chinkan. Now do you see? Do you remember the true joy of battle? The clashing of bone, and sinew." She continued to smile at him. The darkness that shown through the cracks in the roof of the subway slowly turned pink. "I'll see you sooner than you think." Ryu grin, and oddly started to shink. His hair began to change black again, and his eyes went from red, to their normal state, except now they were plastered in a mix of shock and groggyness. Chinkan stood up as Ryu came to a sit. He winced terribly at the many wounds in his body. "Where... what... who..."
"Long story." Ryu looked to have been scared something awful. He tried to ask Chinkan something, but looked down at the tracks. His eyesight seemed to swim in blurs as he flicked on his sunglasses. "Luna?" Chinkan asked. "Ryu." His head continuously buzzed at him; his entire being roasting alive.
[i] That wasn't a dream... [/i]

[color=indigo]"Ryu, you have to come with me. Just until your wounds heal, and you have regained all of your energy,"Chinkan grabbed him around his chest and stood him up.

He leaned helplessly against her and they started to walk. Azuran, Carmize, and Hakira ran into the station. Azuran stood at the top of the stairway and the two girls ran to Chinkan.

"Azuran, it's only for the day. He will regain his strength with some rest. Then he will be gone,"Chinkan pleaded.

"Fine, just for the day. I know a place that we can hid from the sun until dark,"Azuran led the way.

"Th..ank..you,"Ryu passed out.

"Azuran, help.."Chinkan was weighted down. She too lost a considerable amount of energy.

"We need to talk, Chinkan. We still have a job to carry out,"Azuran slung Ryu's arm around his shoulder.[/color]

Miazmodon, still hidden yet also very close by. He watches over them as they leave the station.[COLOR=darkblue]" You did well, But next time you must kill them."[/COLOR] miazmodon sitts atop a building still following there every move.[COLOR=crimson]" That is somthing I refuse to do...."[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkblue]But why? [/COLOR] Carmize stops and looks up at Miazmodon and smiles, then turns back around and catches up with the group. [COLOR=crimson]" Because....Even if they dont see it that way, I think I actually have people that I can call friends......."[/COLOR] He stands up and Leaps off the building.

[color=indigo][font=times new roman][b]"Right, I know Azuran. But first we have to sit down and figure out what we have to do. We now have two vampires and a mystery on our hands,"Chinkan pointed out as they continued to walk in the shaded areas.

"Mr. Azuran, why are we helping [i]him[/i]?" Carmize flipped a chunk of Ryu's bloody hair.

Hakira looked confused, too. Chinkan looked at her and wondered why she had not heard a word out of this girl.

"Because, he is dying,"Azuran calmly put.

"Well, excuse me, but isn't that what you wanted Ms. Chinkan?"Carmize questioned.

"Yes well, I wanted to be the one to kill him. But we were rudely interrupted. I have to help him regain his strength so that way it will be a fair fight. If I fight him now, it would be too easy,"Chinkan teased.

"Sh-shut..up, I-I could..kil-kill you..if I-I wanted..t-to,"Ryu struggled.

"It would be wise of you not to talk. You barely have enough energy to breath,"Azuran comented.

They found an abanded and condemned cathediral and laid Ryu down on a pew. Carmize sat at his side and leaned into his face, examining him. Hakira did the same, although her face suggested she had no idea why. Chinkan and Azuran stepped back, he noticed she had blood all over her chest.

"What happened? I only saw you get shot once in the shoulder?"Azuran pointed at her chest.

Chinkan looked down and remembered that that's where Ryu had leaned on top of her in the ally. She looked up at Azuran and shook her head.

"I don't know. I am not injured,"she tried to play it off.

She took her bag from Hakira and searched for something to tend Ryu's wounds. She found some bandages and took out her dagger. She looked at the two girls and kneeled beside Ryu. She made a single cut down Ryu's shirt and ripped it off to reveal multiple bullet holes that streamed blood.

Azuran watched as Chinkan dug her dagger into the wounds and pulled out the bullets. Ryu jumped and winced in pain. Carmize smiled in delight. Hakira's face was distorted and winced when Ryu did. Once all the wounds were patched up, Ryu fell asleep.

"Carmize, Hakira, I need you to watch and protect him. Could you do that for me?"Chinkan whipped the dagger and sheathed it into its sheath on her thigh.

"Chinkan, let's talk,"Azuran turned and walked up to the alter. He sat down in the throne-like chair the priest would sit in. Chinkan sat on the Serman's table where the priest would prepare the 'blood and body of Christ'.[/color][/font][/b]

Aruzan was not concerned about the fact that the other two girls were with the vampire. "I Am worried. We have a job to do. We need to get to San diaz, in the western United states.
"We need to go there? Why?"
"We will have to go there because If I know what that vamopire will do, he will take her there, so she can have a time in the sun. But first, we need to go three miles east. There is a place for Damu to rest for the day. We have several hours, and we should get there by sunset, if we can leave in az few hours.
"But, why would we go to San Diaz?"
"Iam sure you know, but it is a resort that specializes in hot springs."
"OOOOOOO!!!!!!! Can we have some fun there?"
"Perhaps."
Aruzan begins to think of the last time he was there, and how he had to change into rather........ reveiling attire. He had to dress in an unappealing pair of tight swimming trunks and a green shirt with pink plants on it. Not that he looked bad in it, he looks good in anything. Girls are always swooning over him. It was just that he hated bright colors.
"I am not happy to go. I hate how you have to change into such.....revolting attire. And of course, the women I was watching-"
"Watching? PERV!"
"I was guarding her. She wore a skimpy bikini......"
"Yeah, I've heard of that place, it's mandatory that you wear attire for the way of like of the place."
"Yes. Attire that is approriate for the wearer, by the way."
Aruzan had to admit, the clothing everyone wore was perfect for them. The children were dressed aproprately as well.
"So, did you have any fun? Or were you all buisness?"
Aruzan's cheeks tinge pink.
"OH! You............ you did have a good time....."
Aruzan looks away. Chinkan looks at him some more."Do you think I'd look good in a bathing suit?"
Aruzan's expression is of stupidity.
"Chinkan enjoys her way of embarrasing Aruzan.
"You know, you've changed...."
"How so?"
"You're.... talkative. and you are nice and.....warm. I'll bet.....Now, you just need to lighten up."
"I am how I am. I am not changing for anyone. I have learned to live like this, so there is no reason to change, not now, not ever."
"Fine. But I am telling you, lighten up."

[color=indigo][b][i]"Whatever, you just don't think I would look good in a suit,"Chinkan hopped of the alter and checked on Ryu.

He was still asleep. Hakira tugged on Chinkan's torn, dirty skirt.

"Yes Hakira,"Chinkan put her hand on the mute girls shoulder. Hakira didn't answer, it looked as if she did want to but couldn't.

"What's wrong? Are you mute?"Azuran asked over Chinkan's shoulder.

Hakira frantically looked around in her lab coat and found a pencil and note pad. She began to write and handed it to Chinkan. The writing read,"I don't know how to speak. I am a clone, I only know how to say my name and read and write. I was wondering if you could help me."

Azuran read the note and looked at Chinkan, Carmize snatched the note and read it. She looked at Hakira and smiled gleefully.

"I will help you Hakira! I can teach you anything you want to know! Come, let's get started!"Carmize took Hakira's hand and pulled her to a pew.

"Uh, girls. We have to get going,"Azuran picked up Ryu, Chinkan helped.

"Sure Mr. Azuran!"Carmize started to skip and Hakira looked in awe. She started to mimick Carmize and followed.

The sun's heat was growing very uncomfortable as the group trudged down the street. The two girls were feet behind, Hakira gave Carmize a piggy-back ride. Ryu started to wake up.

"Whe-where are we going? It's hot..."Ryu layed his head on Azuran's shoulder.

"We're going to a place we can be assured safety,"Azuran kept his head down to shield the sun's light.

A car passed, stopped and then came back in reverse. The window rolled down and an attractive woman smiled at Azuran. She was a blonde, blue eyes, tanned skin.

"Do you guys need a ride. It's awfully hot out, and you all are sweating,"the woman winked at Azuran.

Chinkan's eyebrow twitched and she looked questionably at him. He smiled at her and looked at the blonde. Ryu blinked and saw the car,"Take it!"

"Well, sure, we'll take the lift,"Azuran smirked. The woman looked questionably at Ryu and Chinkan, who were covered in blood.

They all climed in, the three girls in the back, Ryu laid across them, Azuran in the front passenger seat. The woman talked continuously and Chinkan was getting annoyed. Azuran felt it and looked back at her. He gave her a sincere smile and turned around.

The came up to a small town and Azuran told the woman to stop. All five of them piled out and said their thanks.

"Okay, where exactly was your head?"Chinkan was irritated.

"What do you mean by that?"Azuran teased.

"You know exactly what I meant....Anyways, where are we going?"Chinkan changed the topic.

"About ten blocks west of here,"the cars and people passed. [/color][/b][/i]

Aruzan is worrid, Apparently, Chinkan does not =see the smoke coming from Ryu. Purebloods are not meant to be in the sunlight.
Chinkan does admit however, that Ryu is strong, and will not fall easily, should a situation like that ever arise. Ryu was covered, but the heat would get to him, and then the sun. Already, he was fretting to get out from under a heavy burlap cloth.
"No, Ryu. I will not let you take it off. You wish to live, correct?"
"Yeah, but I...."
"I know you are a pureblood, therefore if you are in the sun you die."
Ryu stops complaining and he starts asking what they were doing. "It does not matter. We are at our destination."
Everyone looks at a massive stucture that is infront of them, and Aruzan speaks in a language none of the others could understand.

The doors open, and Aruzan leads them in. It is refreshingly cool, and Aruzan hides his relief, unlike the others.
"Aruzan! [i] So noce to see you! how have you been?[/i]"A plump old woman approaches Aruzan, and hugs him.
[i] Fine.

Yes. My freinds need refeshment, as do I. Got something for us?"
Yes,yes, oh my.......such a long time since you brought freinds. It's been such a long time.......[/i]
Aruzan introduces the old woman. "This is Aike, and she is off limits. She is an old freind of mine."
"Fine. I like my meals young anyway."
"I heard that, young lady. Don't make me put you under, kid!"
She speaks with an accent, and Chinkan is in awe of the woman's gaw. "Did you......?"
"Chinkan, Don't mess with her."
"What will you do If I do?"
Aike smiles, and she suddenly is gone. "It is not him you have to worry about......"
Aruzan smiles, as Aike suddenly appears behind Chinkan."I warn you now, little missy, even Aruzan knows my rules. If you don't obey them, I'll oust you before you know what hit you."
Chinkan knows the woman speaks only truths.Aruzan is silent, and he enjoy's Aike's little farse with Chinkan. Aike's attitude changes, and she ushers them into the kitchens. "Eat, Eat! Eat as much as you like."

(all vampires can eat human foods and stuff like that.)

Ryu groggely sat up and looked around, pushing off the burlap. "This is real?" Chinkan looked back at him. "You're up. Yeah, this is all real. Why?"
"...I keep waking up in a dream." He said quietly. He walked over to the table and took a seat. "Why did you bring me here?"

"I wanted to kill you fairly."
"Fairly? You may regret that."
"If you'd like, I can kill you right now." He didn't respond, but stared into the soup in front of him. "...hey, why am I beat up?" Chinkan looked at him in shock. "Are you serious? You don't know?"

"Sounds pretty stupid, but no." Chinkan told him what happened as he continuously paled. "I... did that?"
"You really don't remember?"
"In pieces. I remember being at an oprah, until I killed everyone, and then it's all scrambled..." He looked back down at his uneaten soup, pondering to himself...

[color=indigo][font=times new roman]"Well, I am going to take a hot bath and scrub this blood off of me. Take it easy Ryu and try to eat something,"Chinkan stood up and walked into the bathroom.

As she poured in bubbles, steam filled up the room. [i]That's odd. He doesn't remember a thing. Why is that? Maybe it's because the Luna's blood wasn't able to fully take control over his mind and body...[/i]

Chinkan stripped off her bloodied and shreaded clothes and lay in the tub. She was about to fall asleep when she heard a knock at the door. She made sure that there was enough bubbles to cover the exposed areas, except for her legs that rose above the bubbles like mountains.

"Yes?"Chinkan looked towards the door.

"How long you going to be in there?"Azuran questioned.

Arzan now blushes.It is a faint pink tinge to his milk white skin. He long straight brown hairflows down the white cotton shirt he is wearing.
"I see you changed out of those black things. You must have been dying out there, how did you do it?"
"I am fine. and as for your offer, I guess. Please turn around."

Aruzan undresses, and climbs in. The water does feel good. But, he does not realize that Chinkan peeks. She likes what she sees, and see wonders what he will have to wear in San Diaz.[i] probably something that shows off his physique......... I like it.... and what a package he's got![/i]
"Chinkan, you can uncover your eyes now."
"Okay."
"I wish to discus our job."
"Yes? And?"
"We need to go. He will stay onhly two days at the most, and we need to figure out what we need to do. We leave tomorrow, of course."
"Yes, and then we go and rescue that girl."

"I must question if we were not told something."

Aruzan was contemplateing on whether he should eat some rice or some soup. He had already drank blood, and he now was hungry for something satisfying.
He desides on chocolate cake.
It has been long since everyone had gone to sleep, and Aruzan looks out at the hoprizon through a window. Aike was asleep as well, but she had told him to get some sleep.
He was shareing a room with Chinkan, and she was asleep, to his knowlege.

Chinkan rolls over in bed to see Azuran eating a cake. She stared at him, the light from the setting sun hit his eyes and soft skin. He looked out the window in deep thought. [/i]He must be thinking of the job..But it looks like there's something else that troubles him..[i]

"Hey, what are you thinking about?"Chinkan had the blanket wrapped around her and sat in a chair infront of Azuran.

"The job..."he answered incompletely.

"Me too,"Chinkan took the fork from him and took a bite of the cake.

"Is that why you're up?"

"Why else wouldn't I be?"her eyes twinkled in the light.

"I don't know. How is Ryu?" he took his fork back.

"He's fine. He said he plans to leave when he feels better. Which will probably be in a few hours when the sun is completely down,"Chinkan leaned back and taking the blanket off. *No she is not nakie* She was wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a pair of white boxer shorts.

"Do you think he'll be fine? What will happen in the next full moon? What if you are not there to help?"

Chinkan looked out into the reds, oranges, and purples of the sky. The city was buzzing, headlights of cars were twinkling like Christmas lights.

"I do not know,"she sighed and looked at Azuran. His smile was reassuring.

"I am sure we'll think of something,"he places his hand on Chinkan's knee.

Ryu sat boared in a large armchair and waited for the sun to go down. Across the room, Hakira lay curled up on one of the table chairs, which was a very odd sight. Her ears perked up and she looked over at him. "Why do you sleep like that?"

"Hakira Tsukinara"
"Pardon?"
"...meow." He looked blankly at her as she scratched behind her ear with her foot. She yawned and stumbled off the chair. "Hello?"
"Hello!" She mimicked. Carmize walked to Hakira and patted her head. "She can't speak. She's a clone and all she can say is her name and meow. I'm trying to help her speak but-"
"Did anyone tell you that you talk too much?"
"I'm sorry mr. Ryu, I thought you'd like to know. You looked like you were interested..." Ryu looked away and bit his lip like he had just swallowed a slug.

It wasn't long until both Carmize and Hakira left, and the sun gave it's final wave over the horizon. Ryu grinned and lit a cigarette. [i] Time to get out of this freak house. [/i] He walked to the door and pushed it open. The streets were dark and almost abandoned. He remembered walking down the sidewalk with that burlap blanket over his head, and was glad that it was night.

Aruzan falls asleep. and Chinkan is still awake. She sees a pile of clothing, and it is Aruzan's. There is a picture pokeing out, and Chinkan can't help but poke into Aruzan's clothes. It is a picture of a beautiful woman. She looks young, about 27, but the picture is clearly ancient.

Chinkan notices a pendant on the woman's neck. It is every bit as beautiful as the strange woman.Chinkan wonders who the woman could be, but Aruzan wakes up. Caught red handed, she hides the picture behind her back.
"Chinkan, I know you have that picture."

"It is alright. I know you could not help it. I am not angry."
"Since you know, then tell me who she is."
"That is my wife, Shana Areset. She is beautiful, is she not?"
Chinkian's eyes nearly pop out of her skull. "What?"
"Yes, you heard me, that is my wife. She....... she is dead now. Killed by vampires.Over seven hundred years ago."
"I see why you are a hunter..."
"No. that is not why. I have always been a hunter."
"Why?"
Aruzan looks back into the rising sun. "Because, I am a dunpeal. I never got to have a life, not like you. I am obviously part vampire. You however........."
Chinkan can tell that Aruzan is emotionally disturbed. "Aruzan...... you can tell me. I am....... I am your freind."

"Yes, that's right."
Aruzan smiles, but it not filled with happiness. "I thank you."
Chinkan smiles, trying to reassure Aruzan. however, he does not tell her his wife is not exactly completely dead. [i] I tried to forget her.... but I just can't.[/i] Aruzan's eyes cloud over, and he is deep in thought. Happy memories flit through his head, and they seem so far away, as if it was a diffferent person who lived them.

A strange woman approaches Miazmodon. It is the woman from Aruzan's photo.
"Why, hello there, aren't you out late? A cute thing like you should watch out."

"Oh, come on now. I won't bite hard."
The woman smells like a vampire, a pureblood at that, but she was turned away from the light. this smell is evident, and it is obvious why she approached Miazmodon.
"Who are you?"
"I?" I am some one who wants hewr husband back. "The woman trembles, she is twitching. Her fangs are unsheathed, and sshe attacks, surprising Miazmodon.

(don't kill her, I need her for a little farse with Chinkan.)
