Kwai
As the night passed by, the same matters which confronted Le'aoni were also presented in the Lowendove Brotherhood. A small meeting was held in one of the inner-most sanctums, with blood-red crosses hanging over each of the six seats in the small, circular room. Sir Lowendove sat, his arms folded, his expression a bit annoyed. Around him sat three men and two women, the elder council of the Brotherhood. "The matter stands thus: We have a meeting tomorrow with the AVD, the Alliance of Vampiric Defense. There seems to be a sudden flux in the number of berserk anti-slayers, killing innocents at random. Now, in most cases, we would simply exterminate them in the name of God. However, revolting as the idea seems, these anti-slayers are far superior to ordinary vampires, and thus we cannot defeat them alone. For the time being, the AVD proposed that we form a temporary alliance until the hybrids are exterminated. We have agreed up until this point. Now, the meeting place has been set at 134 E Commers Drive, at 9 p.m. However, there still lingers doubt if I should be trusting enough to go to a meeting place that they appointed. I ask your opinions." The council looked at one another, then in unison, raised their left hand. Nay. One of the elder councils, a man in his late 50s, stood up. "We have been in constant war with the vampires for the past few hundred years. They created this breed of anti-slayers in hopes to destroy our brotherhood. Now, they are hounded by their own creations. Why must we intervene to help our mortal enemies?" the Elder Council murmured in agreement. "True, but these anti-slayers are far deadlier, and far more dangerous, and they do not possess one thing which makes them incredibly dangerous. Logic. They do not kill with any sense of logic or reason, and they will kill anyone, anyplace, anytime. If they do happen to overtake the AVD, then we shall be next." replied Lowendove. "So our fates are intertwined with the scums?" asked the female council member. "More or less, yes." replied Lowendove. "But... can we be sure that this isn't simply a lure to capture you or kill you?" persisted the council member. Lowendove raised his right hand. Immediately, a figure stepped forth from the shadows behind him. "I am taking Warrington along with me. He is the best anti-vampire slayer we have. I trust that my life is in no danger while with him." The council murmured among themselves, then in unison, raised their right hand. The meeting was adjourned. One by one, the council members stood up, and left. Only Lowendove and Warrington were left in the chamber. "You heard the date, time, and place Warrington. Go there before my arrival, and clean out any scum that may be hiding." said Lowendove fiercely. "It shall be done." Warrington too disappeared from the room. Lowendove stood up, and glanced at the crimson cross before him. "We shall prevail." and he finally left the room. The room dimmed, but the red crosses burned brightly in the abyssal chamber. OOC: Beautifully done Avalon. Should we clash at the meeting a bit to make it more interesting? I'm rather getting bored cause I didn't actually "fight" yet. silpheedpilot
OOC: Aside from the fact that my Arm was broken, and I was cut in half, out strengthed...Which really should'nt have been able to happen. Oh yes! and Fear! Hyde has no fear...But oh well..People just seem to want to make thier characters best, I suppose...Anyways :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hyde walked down an alley way as the sunlight yearned to get into the darkness, spinning his Spear around in his left hand. Hm..Hehe...My arm was broken!...Hehe and...Hehe...I got cut in half..Hehe! Well...I just wont have to let that happen again.. Hyde stepped into the light and stared into the gray sky as snow conintued to fall, Hyde opend his mouth letting the cold flakes of snow fall into his mouth. He tilted his head as he saw a black SUV park across the street. Two men stepped out of the vehicle, and glanced around. They walked up to a group of other men and women and started unloading packages of white powdery substance into another SUV, Hyde smiled and walked out towards the vehicles. After getting about ahalfway across the street, he found an SMG muzzle in his face, quirking a brow and letting out a maniac laugh. "You best jus' turn around, and forget what you seen. You tell the pigs and we'll gut you!" the SMG armed man said, pushing the muzzle closer to Hydes face. Hyde shook his head and grinned, he slapped the gun away and walked past the man. The man picked up the SMG and pointed it at Hydes back. "Yo! Guys! Lets light this fool up!" All of the men pulled out an arm of somesort, from SMGs to Pistols. They pointed them all at Hyde as he came closer. One man stepped foward, pushing Hyde away. "Yo..Get outta here! Before you get yoself shot!" Hyde let out a long maniacal laugh as he drove his hand through the mans chest, pushing it out the other side. The man doubled over as Hyde lifted his hand up, slicing the man in half. The other men took no time before opening fire on Hyde. The shot pounded into Hydes chest, into his legs, his arms, his head. Hyde swung his Spear around in a full circle, letting it fly out. After doing a 360 degree spin Hyde set the Spear on his shoulder, the men fell apart...In half, screaming as blood ran into the street. Hyde walked to the back of the first SUV and punctured one of the bags of white substance with his Spear, the powder sifted into the air and landed on Hydes skin. Hyde sniffed the air and backed away slowly. Drugs. Hyde turned and let his left eye twitch setting the grugs on fire, walking a ways a loud blast was hear as a fireball erupted into the air. Hyde laughed, long and loud as he knew the SUVs blew up.
Epsilon
The white halls were lit bright. Walking down, the tiles on the floor reflected Leon's image on the floor in a blur. Along with the lightings of the hall. With reflecting back what ever was able to be seen. Continuing walking the to came to three halls split halls. They turned a corner to the left. "So...are you going to tell me what happened now?" Adora asked, annoyed. "Yes, I had had a problem with a vampire." said Leon, "It was stronger then the ones you usually find out wondering on the streets." Adora shook her head, "Had you been able to get a name, or a brief look at them? " "Not really, but the vampire moved in a black flash...He uses some weapon with a metal blade, I think." "I'll look into it, once we report." After awhile more of walking they stopped at two large red doors. Adora went in front and opened the doors then went in. Fallowed by Leon, the doors slammed behind them with a loud bang. Inside it was a large room, at the front bound up by a few stairs. There was a desk, with some one sitting there. Behind them, on the back walls there was a door. And on the side walls a door on each. One off to the right, and one off to the left. Standing around there were a few other AVD agents. Walking up to the man at the desk, they stated who they were and what they had came to do. The man pointed to the big door behind him. Some of the agents stopped and looked back over their shoulders, as the two walked in. Inside it wasn't as bright as the rest of the place. Yet it wasn't all that dark either. An unknown speaker told them to state who they were. And what they had to report.
SalorMidnight
"Hahahahaha wake up Draka come on its time to kill......" Draka opend her eyes, she saw that she was in an ally. She felt the snow fall on her, it was sunrise. She slowly stood up, she noticed a rose on the ground where she had been laying. It was amazing in the white snow, its black petals clashing with the white snow. She picked it up and started to walk out of the ally. "yes what shall we do...seeing that we are now free lets go make some artwork......"she said her redlips cruling into an evil smile. As she walked out of the ally she could smell the fantest smell of human blood. "Ahh i see Hyde has been to work, hehehe well hes had his fun nows its my turn" "lets she what kind of hell we can bring to this town...hmmmm how about a public place we could kill may five ten people.. i want to let Hyde know im alive and ready for some fun hehehe ."she said as she made her way to the town square. She walked swiftly, she cluched her wip in one hand and one of her daggers in the other. She spotted a small group of people about 5 adults and one child. She became invisable, walking slowly she aproched the group, she spotted a fountain in the middle of the square...."ahh how lovely lets kill them all hehehe"she thought to her self. She reappeared, no one seemed to notice her except the little girl. She grind, "Excuse me" she said to the group of people. "Yes do you need some help"said a man wearing a black coat. "Oh yes i do see ive really got this problem" "well if it anything serous you should go see the police."he said looking baffeld. "See thats were you wrong they cant help....well i could kill them two but see you humans look so inocent i really makes me angry, so when i get angry i like to kill so guess what you all are going to die....MWHAHAHAHAHA" Befor any of them could move she slit the five adults throte, there blood pouring all over her. She turned to the girl who was screaming. She lashed her wip around her neck and with a quick filck of her wrist she snaped the girls neck like a twig. She smilied.."now for the fun part.." she pick up one of the adults, riping off his shirt she carved a rose in his chest, she did the same to the 4 other adults. she placed them all around the fountain. Then she took the little girl and riped all her cloths of and cut out her heart and her guts. She tied the girl to the the top of the fountain. With the blood from the girls heart she wrote a massage. "Hyde my dear hehehe hope you like my master peace, lets see if you can do better Love Draka" She walked off down a dark ally, blood driping off her hands.......... silpheedpilot
Hyde sensed it, he felt it within...Yes...She was awake! Now a new, friendly game of "Out-do" insued. Hyde walked down a busier street, coming up on a window displaying a bunch of televisions. Hyde smiled and laughed as he heard the breaking new reports News: This just in! Jerry Handle here at the scene of a ghastly murder. Countless bodies have been found, all brutally murdered. Everyone and SUVs are ablaze, the firefighters are containing the fires. Be on the lookout and be aware...There is something out there and its vicious. Hyde smiled and laughed at the Drug dealers mis-fortune, and his own artwork. He continued down the street and came upon a park with a fountain, he frowned as he saw dead bodies around the fountain, and a dead girl hanging by her guts. Hehehe...Well..Hehehe...I see that we have a little game going on....Hehehe...Eh, Draka!? Hyde smiled and his left eye twitched, setting the bodies ablaze as he turned and walked away. Hyde spotted a few people a ways away, walking into a clothing store. Oh what possibilities! Hyde instictly followed them in, he glanced around and laughed at the patrons browsing around in the store. he smilked and walked around, examining the people, spying for more elaborate ways he could kill everyone one in this store. Hyde looked to his left at a rack of fine clothing, he pulled a hanger from the rack and looked around. The patrons of the store took no notice t Hyde, just suspecting him as another piece of English riff-raff. Hyde smiled and let out a small maniacal laugh as he threw the hanger into the closest person he could see, an early twenties female. The screams filled the store as others joined in, Hyde turned and swung his Spear out, letting it extend. It plowed through the next person, a male in his mid-thirtys. Hyde retracted the Spear and walked towards the cahier box. The cashier started piling the cash in the register onto the counter as Hyde walked up. Hyde tilted his head at this odd behavior then lifted the register off of the counter, he brought it down on the cfemale cashier, the sound of her head splitting making him laugh more maniacally. The other patrons in the store froze in fear and dropped to th ground. Hyde walked around the store driving his spear into their backs, and heads. After completing his greatly rewarding deed, he tore of the finger of the nearest patron to a blank wall...A rare sight in a clothing store. Hyde turned the stub around and began writing on the wall with the bloody nub. Draka. Hows this? I thought you'd like it, how about the caheirs head? I like the sweet sultry smell of blood, this shall prove to be a worthwhile competition! Hyde dropped the nub and exited the store, laughing his usual maniac laugh. He began whistling a small tune as he troded down the street, awaiting Drakas next move.
Avalon
Le'aoni sighed angrily, gripped the steering wheel hard as she drove around the corner into the garage. She growled, yanking the keys out and slamming the door loudly. Eyeing her watch, she ran into the house. 6:02...I need to get to sleep. Running up the stairs, she heard the slam of her father's door, telling her that he was getting ready to sleep. She threw the coat on the couch and hurriedly stripped off her wear, putting on the nightgown that she had on before. Feeling dizzy, she jumped into the bed, pressing the button. As the bed sank, dove under the covers, wrapping herself in a bed of death. terra
Sorry I haven't posted yet, I've been busy and you guys are so prolific that next thing I know, it was the third page. Also, I thought the meeting was between the Lowendove Brotherhood and the Guild of Vampiric Allegiance, not the Alliance of Vampiric Defense? I'm not sure ... ----------------------- Dagger fell into step behind the figure who was whistling a small tune. She kept her own pace casual, just quick enough to keep up with him, nothing more, nothing less. She guessed that Hyde would easily feel her presence behind him, but he seemed unwilling to turn around and acknowledge it. Finally, after she'd followed nonchalantly behind him for at least ten minutes, he turned, his teeth bared in a rabid snarl. "What do you want, Dagger?!" Dagger knew that Hyde didn't think much of her. He didn't seem to think much of anybody really, but particularly her, being such a "young" hybrid ... but she didn't let it get to her. She replied calmly, "Nice handiwork back there. Still playing games with Draka? Don't you think there might be more important things to take care of?" Hyde turned around and continued walking, as if she wasn't important enough to warrant his attention any further. "And just what important things might you be referring to?" he spat contemptuously, as Dagger began walking her ten paces behind him again. "There's nothing we need to do. We are a new breed, and we have the utmost power!!" "It would appear that an important meeting will be occurring soon," Dagger said, her voice soft so that Hyde had to stop the padding of his feet along the street to hear her. "I'm not positive who it involves, but I believe it to be a meeting of the Lowendove Brotherhood and the Guild of Vampiric Allegiance." Hyde laughed, his cackle like blood on snow, though he did not resume walking. "Those committees mean nothing to me --" "But an allegiance between these two groups can only mean one thing," Dagger said, her tone still deadly quiet. "They are rallying against us, Hyde, and even we can be outnumbered, though not outpowered --" Hyde turned to face her, and this time his eyes were ablaze. "I don't want to hear it!" he all but shrieked. Dagger sensed his fearful bloodlust, but held her ground. She could at least live through an attack from him, if it did occur. "Do whatever you want, Dagger, I don't care about them, I just want to kill ..." She held her breath for a moment, but Hyde merely turned away and kept walking. Kwai
OOC: Okay... its beginning to get pretty damn lonely being the only active slayer in the Lowendove Brotherhood. For that reason, I'm posting up another Slayer who will also be under my command. Here he is. Name: Brendan Setton Age: 11 Race: Crafter Weapons: Warp Steel ? A strange, ever-changing mass of steel. It flows as if its water, but its still steel. This bizarre mass can be crafted to any shape or form by the will of its owner. It can become a sword, a shield, an axe? anything that its owner wills it to be. It is incredibly heavy, and cannot be used by any physical strength. The only way to wield this weapon is through immense mental strength. This strange contraption also seems to be possessed by a will of its own, constantly curling, uncurling, floating around in mid-air as if its some strange specter. Skills: Craft ? Allows Brendan to manipulate and change the Warp Steel into any shape or form. The Steel responds to the mind of its owner, and thus does not actually need to be crafted by one?s own hand. The Warp Steel can be morphed into a multitude of things, including weapons, creatures, walls, shields, etc. Brendan can also cover his entire body with the steel, literally making him the ?Man (Boy) of Steel?. Appearance: A small, young boy, with bright, blue eyes, accompanied with a charming smile. Extremely cute, and his black hair is neatly combed back. He wears a crisp, black suit at all times, and abhors getting it dirty. Personality: Calm, Cheerful, but deadly. He can kill while smiling, whether the target is man, woman, elderly, or a child like himself. He views himself as a chosen one, a child with a mission behind him. He holds respect for a select few, and to those with his respect he obeys. To others, he is an absolute nuisance, annoying, irritating, and cocky. Bio: Abused by his parents ever since he was conscious of himself, Brendan grew up with immense hate and rage suppressed inside him. His parents were alcoholics, and his mother a drug addict, Brendan lived through the worst possible childhood imaginable. His rage and hate, combined with the untamed spirit due to lack of love, was eventually unleashed. One night, when his parents were in drunken slumber, he crept up to their beds and overdosed their drinks with sleeping pills. The next night, his parents never awoke from their sleep. Brendan disappeared from the house, from the neighborhood after the incident. A citywide search was ensued, but to no avail. Not even a body came up. A few weeks later, one of his former playmates saw Brendan entering his house. When he tried to call him, a sudden chill went through his body, forcing his words back down his throat. It was Brendan, but changed. On his shoulder there was a glistening mass, sliding around like a snake. That night, the house burned down, and the last reminder of grim memories were destroyed. Brendan since then has lived as a child of no memories, of no past. He roams the cities, accompanied by his strange acquisition, dangerous, yet playful. Warrington checked his watch. it was 7:00 a.m. Quite a while before the appointed time. He might as well get a shut-eye. Warrington's footsteps echoed in the dark corridor. The halls were lined with mirrors, not to mention silver crosses between each mirror. Measures against the possible infiltration by vampires. Vampires do not appear on mirrors and crosses are their worst enemy.... but would such pathetic defense work on what was roaming out on the streets now? Warrington came up to a great, oak door, a shared room with another slayer. He pushed the door open with a creak, and walked in. The room was a magnificent, yet a dreary room, with a few candles burning over the long-extinguished fire place. In front of the fire place was a large rocking chair, and a figure was sleeping on it peacefully. A children's book was on the throw rug next to the chair, illustrating the final moments of the figure before his slumber. There were no windows, also a measure of defense. In the far corner was a large stone bed, to where Warrington headed. The figure on the chair suddenly awakened, and a sudden flash shot across the room at Warrington. Warrington was used to this, and blocked the incoming flash with his claws. A strange, watery substance, glittering as if made of steel, had struck from the shoulders of the slumbering figure. The figure yawned, and stood up. The glistening mass slowly curled back, wrapping itself around the shoulders of the boy. "Oh, its only you Mr. Warrington. Sorry about that. I was having a nightmare." murmured Brendan sheepishly. Warrington sighed, and continued towards his bed. "How was the meeting Mr. Warrington?" asked Brendan, desperate to break the awkward atmosphere. "I suggest you to sleep a bit more. We're going to be moving out at 8:00 p.m. today. We have to secure a perimeter for the coming of Sir Lowendove." replied Warrington. He smiled a bit, sympathetic for the young slayer. "Oh... okay. I'll try to stay up by then. But why is Sir Lowendove going out?" said Brendan, apparently relieved. "A meeting with the AVD. We don't, and shouldn't trust them. I'm going ahead of time to clean out any traps and vampires, and you're going to accompany Sir Lowendove." replied Warrington. Brendan smiled. A job with responsibility for once. silpheedpilot
Hyde walked down the sidewalk, crushing the skulls of any passer-by if they dared to even look at him, leaving a nice long line of dead folks laying on the sidewalk. Yeah he was pissed, it showed. Dagger trying to tell him whats going on, telling him about the alliance. Hyde didn't care, he would kill every Vampire, Human or In-human that crossed paths with him. Hyde smiled suddenly as he remembered him and Drakas little contest, he smiled and let out a maniacal laugh. I cant wait..Hehehe...for Drakas..Hehehe..next move! Two thugs walked up to Hyde and forced a gun to the back of his head. "Give us your money! Or we'll drop you!" one thug said "And dont even think of doin' anything stupid!" Hyde smiled and turned around, driving his spear into the thug, the other looked at Hyde opening fire. The rounds pounded into Hydes chest as the gun ran empty. Hyde lifted the first thug of of the ground and held him up, Hyde twitched his left eye and the thug burst into flames on his spear. Still holding the thug up, he turned to the other thug, who was poping another clip into his gun. Hyde threw his right foot out, kicking the thug in the stomach, sending him flying into a pole. The thug wrapped around the pole like a car in a lightpost. Hyde smiled as the thug slid down the pole, in a bloody heap. Hyde dropped the thug on his spear, laughing the whole time. He set the spear on his shoulder and turned walking away. He smiled and turned around admiring his work, he walked back to the thugs and wrote on the concrete in the burnt thugs ashes. Draka, This is my second 'entry'. Just thought I'd get it started early Hyde let out a little laugh and walked away from the death.
Annie
Reaper grew impatient standing in the snow. Even though she could not feel the cold, she grew weary of waiting. She looked up at the star filled sky, they winked at her, bringing her some comfort. She watched couples go by, hand in hand, holding eachother to keep warm. Laughing and giving eachother kisses, their breathe splotching the black surroundings like white paint on a piece of black construcion paper. Reaper stared in envy. How I wish I could once again feel pain, the crisp cold of the snowflakes, the heat of a kiss...Damn the vampires from taking that away from me!!.... she slid down the side of the wall a building across from the AVD Headquarters. How long has it truly been? I cannot remember. I cannot remember what my life was like before I was captured after being bitten. Did I have family? A pet? Friends? A lover? Why was I chosen to be a Hybrid? What was my purpose? I am nothing like the others, I don't wish to kill..If I do, I have a purpose. Hyde adn the others kill for amusement..... She sighed and held her knees to her chest. "I grow weary of waiting," Reaper stood and spoke to the guard you had not taken his eyes from her,"Please tell Leon that Hybrid Genome Production Reaper needs to speek to him. He can find me at 1585 Dunstin Blvd. I shall be there, no matter the time. Thank you," Reaper turned and walked down the desolate streets. The sun was peeking over the horizon. I need to get indoors.. She dances gracefully on the wind, flawlessly leaping from building to building. Suddenly, she was stopped by a shreak from within the apartment housing she was on top of. Reaper leaps off and grabs the window seal of the fith floor. She swung and kicked the window in. Glass flew about, Reaper noticed a dark figure in the corner holding a little boy by his collar. "Don't even think about it. I warn you only this once,"Reaper unsheathed her sword, the light glistened across the dark walls and blinded the figure who was no doubt a vampire. "Feh, you don't scare me, wench!" the vampire dropped the boy. Reaper disappeared, the vampire astonished fearfully looked about the room. "Where did you go, wench?!" Reaper remained silent as she looked down onto her prey. Little did he know she was right above him. Her silky red and black hair tickled the top of his head, he looked up to see her blade. Sshhiiinnngg, he tried to duck but it was too late. The vampire's head rolled on the floor and Reaper licked her blade. She knelt down to drink some more but realized the child was still there, staring at her in fear of what she was going to do to him. "Leave child. Go to your parents." The boy ran off and Reaper picked up the vampire's body with one hand and his head with the other. Before the parents entered, she was gone. Kwai
Warrington was sound asleep, though the chamber was completely silent, save for an occasional turn of the page. Brendan sat on the rocking chair, with a healthy fire blazing before him. Every now and then, his burrows furrowed with disgust, but he persisted reading. After a few encores of brows furrowing and the look of disgust, Brendan threw the book into the fire, where the flames quickly devoured it. A page escaped the fire, fanned by the heat, but Brendan simply pointed his finger at it, and his Warp Steel impaled it, throwing it back into the flames. "Rubbish... I don't understand how adults love each other... stupid prince and princess crap..." Warrington stirred, and Brendan quickly shut his mouth, afraid of being overheard by Warrington. Cursing was strictly forbidden, especially with Warrington around. Luckily, Warrington was still sound asleep, obviously tired from his patrol for the past few days. Brendan left the room, as the Warp Steel trailed after him mimicking his shadow. He turned a corner, and continued down the hallway of mirrors. He stopped after some walking and looked around, apparently lost. "Uh-oh... where's the cafeteria... I want breakfast..." His Warp Steel fanned around the area, reflecting the confusion of his master. A shadowy figure appeared behind Brendan, and Brendan was quick to realize it. Brendan's weapon turned into a sharp spear like object, and pointed straight at the figure's throat. "Cafeteria is straight down the hall, to your right." the figure said curtly, apparently unperturbed by the hostility. "Next time, remember that. And no one hostile is in here Agent Setton... so be easy with your weapons before you take out one of us accidentally." The figure vanished, probably one of the many guards lurking in the corners, armed with their crucifix gun. Brendan scoffed, and walked on. Soon, he came to a large, oak door, with an ancient sign over it which read "Dining Room". Brendan pushed the door open, and entered to find Sir Lowendove dining, with two shadowy guards behind him. Sir Lowendove looked over at Brendan, and continued to eat his pancakes, while motioning Brendan to a seat next to him. "How's Agent Warrington?" "He's asleep, sir." replied Brendan as he sat down. "He says he will be up long before your appointed meeting time to scan and secure the area." "Good, good." replied Lowendove. Brendan took a deep breath, and continued. "He says that I am to go with you as a body guard." he said breathlessly. Sir Lowendove looked quite relaxed and indifferent, as if that was the most natural course possible. "Very well agent. I'll be counting on your full protection to our meeting place. On the way back, Warrington will be with us, but stay alert, agent." Sir Lowendove stood up, and left the dining room through the oak door, his two guards trailing after him silently. Brendan breathed a sigh of relief, and helped himself to the croissants before him. Avalon
OOC: OK, the moment you've been waiting for! Hopefully, I'm not doing it too soon... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hours later...8:00PM~~~~~~ Ring ring ring...smash! A groan was heard, followed by a slight mumbling. Le'aoni sighed, pressing the button on the side, stretching out as the bed rose. With a small yawn, she hopped up, walking slowly out of the door. "Hello daughter," her father spoke to her, seeing her come out of her room. "Why aren't you dressed?" She looked at him oddly, "Dressed? I have all the time in the world father! It isn't even close to 9." Now it was time for him to look strangely, "My dear, it's a little after 8:00. Now hurry! Get dressed!" Le'aoni looked at the clock and scoffed, "Like I said...I have all the time in the world." she replied, heading back to her room. She opened the bathroom door, eyeing the decor...and closed the door. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ahem...father, where is my coat?" Le'aoni spoke, seeing another person with him. "And who is this?" "Never you mind," he replied, seeing her attire. "Ah, the dress that I gave your mother...nice choice. And the coat is hanging up by the main entrance." She walked off, ignoring the amusing look in his guest's eye. Grabbing the coat, she threw it on, going into the garage. As she hopped into the car, she eyed the bouquet that sat in the passenger seat. Red roses...her favorite. she thought, driving from the mansion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here it is... Le'aoni thought, looking at the snow covered graves that littered the area. She picked up the flowers, exiting the car. She walked the aisles, looking for the grave. She turned to the left, seeing a small statue that topped a tombstone. "Mother." she spoke, seeing the snow-covered grave. She brushed off most of it with her fan, shaking it off unto the ground. She eyed the engravements on the tombstone: Here lies Minako Nagayo. Loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Niai. May her blessed soul rest in peace. She gripped the flowers in her hand tight, remembering her past. Kwai
OOC: Heh. Finally, a fight with a real vampire. Le'aoni found herself face to face with a man. Instantly, instinctively, she leapt back. The man barely moved, and this last action seemed not to bother him. A thin hiss was emitted from his lips, and a sharp click was heard as his claws fixed on his hands. Le'aoni felt a sudden chill. A slayer. And no ordinary slayer at that. The rage, the hate, the anger, all curled up in a dense barrage of emotions was deep set within the man's eye. Warrington smiled. His rage, hate, and anger were all sealed within his cold, unyielding eye, but his mouth, his mouth was curled up in a grin, apparently happy with the encounter. "Good day isn't it? Vampire scum of the earth." he said with his mouth curled in disgust with a lace of amusement. Le'aoni's face flushed with anger, but replied as calmly as possible. She was here to talk, not war. "I am here as the representative of the AVD, to meet with Sir Lowendove of the Lowendove Brotherhood to talk of truce." "Heh... sorry *****. But I'm under orders to hunt down and terminate any and all vampires within the area before the coming of Sir Lowendove." A small flash was all that was seen, and Warrington struck, his claws aimed to impale straight through Le'aoni's heart. She was fast, faster than he expected, and was high above him when his claws shattered the ancient statues behind where she was standing. Warrington's maniacal smile was still set, as he turned, and a fury of battle darts were unleashed upon the air-borne figure...
Avalon
Le'aoni smirked, forcing herself downward until she hit the ground. She turned to roll...but something, more like someone, was on her arm, rendering her left side motionless. "Leaving so soon?" Warrington spoke, pressing his foot on her arm a bit harder. She winced, feeling every ounce of pain that he gave her. She narrowed her eyes, looking at the man that dared attack her. "Well, is that anyway to treat a lady, mortal?" she replied, bringing her leg up to kick him in his midsection. He simply moved, catching her leg and freeing her arm. "Is that the best you can do, you feeble vampira?" She growled, not liking the predicament that she was in. Looking on the ground, she stared at the fan that was by her. She threw it, making Warrington drop her to dodge the fan. It hit a tombstone, clattering as it did. Narrowing her eyes even further, she stood, looking at him angrily. "How dare you!" she spoke, brushing a loose strand from her face. She pressed a small button on her fan, making it spread into a round circle. "This was to be a peaceful day, mortal. You have ruined it...and your chances of living..." she trailed off, throwing the coat that she wore down on the ground... ....and charged Warrington. silpheedpilot
Hyde sttod against a building watching the streets as they slowly fgot emptier, and emptier. He stood around and smiled. Of course there was going to a be killing tonight, wasn't there always? Hyde stepped out from the shadows and peered into the moon, he stumbled and leaned against the wall once more. Time for a feeding..Ah..hehehe..My first since I've been born!..Hehehe!...Always on cold, stale blood...But not this time! Hyde stepped out fromt he shadows and walked down the street, looking for someone to feed off of. He spotted the first person, a yound teen with fright in her eyes..Maybe fifteen or sixteen years young. Hyde walked up to her and smiled. "Whats wrong..Hehehe..Little girl..Hehehe" The gilr turned and ran, but was cut short when Hyde appeared in front of her. The girl dropped to her knees and held her head." "No Mom I didn't mean those things I said! Please! I wont run away again!" Hyde grinned and let out a maniacal laugh as he lifted the girl up by her shoulders, he opend his mouth, baring his fangs as he came in close to her neck. He stopped short, after taking a slight whiff of her. Drugs. Hyde set her down and walked off. Arg! Hehehe..I need to feed..Hehehe...
Kwai
Warrington's smile widened even more, if that was possible, due to the last burst of rage from his opponent. Finally. Her claws struck out with lightning rapidity, tearing the flesh off his left arm. That had happened to him so often in the past few years that he barely winced. She continued the assault, tearing, clawing at him, a whirlwind of frenzy. Warrington's body was covered with bruises, and he fell, lifeless to the eyes of Le'aoni, but quite content with the act to himself. Le'aoni glared at the figure on the ground in front of her. "You brought this upon yourself mortal..." murmured Le'aoni. She turned to leave, disgusted. "Dogs, dogs... *****es of the AVD...." a voice murmured. Le'aoni turned around, surprised. "Very, very impressive. But you see, I am no mortal..." Warrington's ragged, torn remainders of his body slowly stood up, grotesque in its posture, abyssal as the pits of hell. "However, dogs cannot kill me. I am a freak, just like you. And only humans are granted the power to bury the freaks. You're a dog of the AVD. You cannot kill me." Warrington's wounds began to regenerate, and Warrington opened one of the vials on his chest, and poured it in what was left of his mouth. His regeneration quickened with intensity, and in moments, his entire body was reformed. "Shall we continue?" muttered Warrington, cracking his neck as he spoke. Le'aoni growled, and made ready to pounce. A thin sound was heard, as if of wind passing through an abandoned corridor, and from the side, a barrage of huge nails were fired at lightning speed, pinning Le'aoni in mid-air. Le'aoni was caught by surprise, and was pinned helplessly to the large tombstone. With surprise, she looked at Warrington, and found him bowing at an unseen figure. She strained her neck, and found Sir Lowendove, serenely smiling, with a small boy near him. The nails which held her captive slowly merged together, and formed an iron rope, which bound her completely. "I take it you're one of the AVD vampires?" asked Sir Lowendove calmly. "I am. Unhand me this instant you mortal wretch." Sir Lowendove smiled, and snapped his fingers. The boy next to him stirred, and the metallic mass around her slid off of her as if made of water, and slithered back towards the boy. The boy took the mass in his hands, and stroked it in a soothing fashion. Warrington was no longer bowing, and he had retreated to the side of his leader. "Well, so your group, the AVD, proposed this matter to us. Let us hear what you have to say." said Sir Lowendove.
Annie
Reaper, on her way to her abandoned retreat, spotted Hyde about to feast on a young woman. She was about to attack when she noticed he placed her down. Hmm, that was strange. Hyde never hesitates....wait a second, drugs. The girl must be on drugs. Walking towards the quivering girl, the head of the vampire drizzled a stream of blood on the stark snow, Reaper threw the head to Hyde,"Here! Catch! Just killed him, figured you might be hungry," she gave Hyde a smile as he barely caught the head before it hit him in the back of his head. "Stupid girl, don't you know that drugs can kill you?" Reaper looked down at her. Hyde chuckled at her irony. Reaper looked at Hyde with no emotion and tossed him the body. "Heh, you know I don't like sloppy seconds,"Hyde dropped the body and head. "Hyde, I didn't have any part of him. I just now killed him, but if you say so..." Reaper walked over to the decapitated vampire and bent down to pick him up. She was stopped by Hyde's spear along her throat. He lifted her chin to look at her face. "Fine, leave it. Only because I am famished. Do not smile at me, you broke my arm and cut me in half. I should kill you were you stand, but I won't. You aren't worth whatever energy I have," Hyde sharply pulled his spear away and picked up the body and head and lept into the air. Hmmph....Uh anyway, I need some sleep.. Reaper continued down the street. She came upon the ghetto where her abandoned apartment building. Inside she walked up a flight of spiraled, iron stairs which were straining to keep their grasp on the pole. The melting snow dripped on her head, but she could not feel it, she reached the musty hallway to face a door that hung on its hinges and had bullet holes all over so that it looked more like Swiss cheese. Reaper pushes the door open with one of her daggers, looking about the loft alert. "Home sweet home," she sheathed her dagger and walked over to her matress. All of the windows were draped with thick, maroon tapistry, allowing no glimpse of the sun. The ceiling leaked, ancient newspapers and magizines littered the floor. The wooden boards dismembered from the floor, some were not even there. Huge beams from the cieling formed pilars around her matress. Reaper sat down on her bed, which was the only dry thing in the loft, and leaned her back against the wall. Her eyelids fell as if they were weighted, and she dozed into a deep slumber. She began to dream of what appeared to be her past... "Rainee!!! Rainee, can you put me on your shoulders!?" It was a little girl, guessing it was her little sister. "Sure, come on now. You have to jump!" Rainee(or Reaper as you all know her) "Okay!!" The two played in a green field, blanketed by a rainbow of colored flowers. The breeze so warm and sweet. The sun shone in happiness and love. The two giggled and laughed. The voice of the little girl echoed and then the sky grew grey. A flash of the laboratory and scientists, awakening to see Hyde's manical smile, Wake up, Reaper! Tis time we are free!!. Then a flash of seeing a house in a green field, out on the yard layed the bodies of a man, woman, and a girl child. The child was barely alive when Reaper reached her. He-lp...me....Rainee? the small hand trembled on Reaper's face. What did you call me? I do not know that name.. The little girl's face paled and with the last of her energy she handed Reaper a tatured doll...The girl died in Reaper's arms, but she could not feel the pain.... silpheedpilot
Hyde smiled and let out a soft laugh as he entered Reapers ragged aparment. "Hehehe..Nice place you got here..Hehehe" Hyde called out as the end of his spear made a thud as he pulled it off of his shoulder. Dagger moved to intercept Hydes intrusion, but was stopped short as Hyde landed on top of her before she even left her bed. He held his spear to her chest, slowly driving it in. She let out a slow groan as the spear entered her flesh, she could feel that much. Hyde let out a long maniacal laugh as he stared at Reaper. "I freed you, and you repay me, by trying to kill me?! HeheheHAHA!" Hyde howled "Why wont you join me in this worlds oblivion?! Hehehe!" Reaper pushed at Hyde spear, trying to unsheath her dagger. Hyde met her halfway, forcing her hand against the wall with his foot. Hyde let out a slow grunt then drove his spear through Reaper, he smiled once more then lifted her off of the ground. She struggled to get free as the apin was becoming unbearable. "Thats right, Reaper! I am stronger then you! I can easily kill you..Hehehe..Whenever I want! You and this whole city! Hehehahaha!" Hyde yelled as he forced her up to the ceiling, he winced as she kicked him in the stomach. He grinned and pushed spear further into her. He let out a long howl as he pulled the spear back, throwing her against the opposite wall, she slid down the wall to a crumpled curl. Hyde walked over to her and lifted his spear towards her head. He smiled and let out an evil laugh before driving the spear towards her head...Why cant I bring myself to kill her!? HYDE! You can do this! Kill her! Hyde swung the spear back and picked Reaper up by her hair, he simply tossed her across the room back to her matress. He left the room mumbling to himself. Annie
"Owww..That actually hurt you jackass!!!" Reaper stood clutching her stomach and rubbed her head from his strong grasp. She leaned over and picked up her dagger, sheathed it into its thigh holster. She slid down the wall and sat on the floor with her legs outstretched. "Why couldn't they immune us to physical pain...." She heard heavy footsteps, she tensed and unsheathed her sword, just a crack of twinkle glittered from the titanium blade. She nearly burned a hole through the door by her fuming glare. Nothing...Hyde was gone, she could sense it.Who was that with him? I know, it was Dagger. Reaper looked around at the blood on the walls that was slowly disappearing... That's right, Reaper! I am stronger than you! I can easily kill you... whenever I want!! Hahahaha!! "Why didn't you kill me Hyde? You actually hesitated..What happened?" Reaper thought out loud. Her wounds had healed, she lied down, laying her sword next to her. She reached into her breast pocket and pulled out the little doll and hugged it close. She sighed and fell asleep again....Hyde, why didn't you kill me?
Avalon
OOC: Metatron, just thought I would tell ya this...she represents the GVA, not the AVD. Ruby's and DBD's characters represent that organization... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Le'aoni looked up at the three figures, anger and hatred clouding her eyes. She stood up, grabbing her coat that she threw on the ground, dusting it off. "And now you want to talk, Brotherhood trash." she spat, slipping on her coat. Leaning on the side of the tombstone, her eyes narrowed even further, her mouth morphing into an angry smirk. "You bring your little ***** here to kill me...and then you have the audacity to let that boy attack me? If I were in the right mind tonight..." "You would do nothing, wench." She hissed at his words, glaring at Warrington sharply, "You...you dared attacked me? I only came here to converse in peace...and to pay partonage to the dead..." "Dogs are not to be trusted." "Same goes for you Brotherhood ruffiens!" she yelled, trying to control her anger. She pressed her dress with her hands, standing up straight. Sir Lowendove eyed her, "Yes, we can stand here and immerse ourselves in useless namecalling...or we can talk about the reason we're here." Le'aoni sneered at him, taking out a small umberella to cover her from the fallen snow. "As you should know, we are all threatened by the "Anti-slayers". They kill your kind as well as ours." "And why should we help you scums," Warrington asked, looking at her. "It was your kind that created them...you should be the ones to destroy them." She growled, growing weary of his presence, and came to him, so closely that he was directly face to face with her. "And if they were only killing our kind, we would...but they're kill humans...our supply. Their people." she replied, her eyes glowing an eerie gray from anger. Narrowing her eyes, she looked at Sir Lowendove. "This will be only temporary...but I will not forget what you did to me on this day. My mother's birthday. You shall regret ever attacking me like that, you pitiful rodents." she spoke, backing away from Warrington slowly. Returning to the tombstone, she leaned on it, keeping her eyes locked on Warrington. I shall tint the snow with his blood...that I will....
Kwai
"Cute, cute." said Warrington in a carrying voice. "You grieve and rage over my intrusion upon your private moments of respect and grief, and your kind has been killing our kind, desecrating every corner of the earth with the blood of humans. Don't make me laugh freak." Le'anoi gave him a piercing glance, her hands quivering in untamed anger. Her fists clenched, unclenched, her claws digging into her flesh. Warrington snickered, as if challenging her to attack. "Honestly speaking, Sir Lowendove, I don't think we ought to bother with these scums. We haven't yet had a chance to directly do battle with any of the anti-slayers yet. I'd like to get a measure of their power and abilities before going around signing off to some truce." muttered Warrington. "Now now agent... you know as well as I the reports that have been filing in from our scouts and informers. I think it would be best for the time being to keep peace. I'd rather not be chasing after two different species. We'll eliminate these anti-slayers first, then get on with killing the vampires themselves..." replied Sir Lowendove. Le'aoni heard it, and Warrington and Lowendove both knew she did. They didn't care. What could she do at the moment anyway? Warrington again spoke, though the hostility was gone from his voice. "Whatever your name is, vampire, your little 'tribute to the dead' irritates me. You're dead, you spilled many human blood, and yet you rage at me. You're not only a freak, but a hypocrite." said Warrington calmly. Le'aoni couldn't take it anymore. Growling in a demonic manner, she charged with impossible speed, aiming to take out Warrington. Sir Lowendove smiled, and raised his fingers just a trace. Brendan's Warp Steel formed a wall, blocking Le'aoni's claws. Le'aoni attempted to strike again, but this time, her whole body was flung backwards, by some unknown force. From within the steel wall, pages of the Bibles emerged, forming a complete wall, impenetrable by any vampiric forces. "You shall tint the snow with my blood? Nay. I shall tint the snow with your blood." The metallic wall shivered, and seemed to engulf all of them. Before Le'aoni's eyes, the wall swallowed up the three of them, and moments later, liquified, disappearing among the grave stones.
Avalon
Le'aoni growled with anger, beating the ground she had fallen on, "Come back here and fight, you cowards! Brotherhood scum of the Earth, I say!" She yelled out, throwing herself on her mother's partially snow covered grave, anger wracking her whole being. She read her mother's tombstone again, stopping only when she saw her name. Niai....died a long time ago. I'm alive. Niai was gave her body freely to men, I don't. Niai couldn't hate a living soul...I... she clenched snow in her palm. "I can't..." she whispered, kneeling on the ground. She took one last look at her mother's grave...and then stood up, brushing the snow from her body. She walked away, pulling the hood on her head. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Slipping into the car, she picked up her cell phone...dialing a number. "Hello?" "Dor'mar, call the Lowendove brotherhood. Tell them that one of their kind fought with me and I want a rematch...tonight. Tell them that I'll be waiting at Firstone Downtown Park." "Le'aoni, what are you trying to do, get yourself killed or something?" "I'm already dead, what can he do to me? Besides, I have unfinished business with their agent." "But Le'aoni..." "Just do it!" Dor'mar sighed and caved. "Alright Le'aoni, but it's your call. And your father won't be pleased when he hears this." She scoffed, "Like I care about what my father has to say." she replied, hanging up. With her decision made, she drove to the meeting destination... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
silpheedpilot
Hyde walked down the street and glanced around, he looked down a dark alley not even realizing he stopped to watch two Vampire feast on a young woman for blood. Hyde shook out of his daze and twitched his left eye setting the Vampires and Human on fire, he smiled and walked off. He came up to a corner of a street and was stopped by a foul smelling cross-dressing whore. He put his hand up to his nose to cover his sensitive sense of smell. "Hey there suga, Wanna go a few rounds?" the whore smiled, showing busted and dirty teeth "I'm cheap" Hyde grunted and put his hand up to his..or rather it's face. He gave a quick flick of his wrist and snapped the cross dressing freaks neck, its head went limp as it fell to the ground ina slump heap. Hyde let out a maniacal laugh as he stepped over the body. continuing on his way. He walked a ways and came up on a man standing outside a club of somesort, maybe a dance club...or a strip club. It didn't matter Hyde, he was hungry and he needed food. Hyde smiled and walked towards the club, the man stepped in Hydes way grinning. "No freaks allowed in this club, buster.."the tall, black man said brushing at the fake dust on the shoulder of his suit "So take yourself away from here and never come back" Hyde smiled and grabbed the man by his suit, the man punched Hyde int he face, but it seemed ineffective as he felt Hyde teeth sink into his neck. The man began to fade into nothing, then he was nothing. Bone and skin was blob on the concrete. Hyde stood up and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. Sucking them dry really fills a Vampire up. Hyde laughed and stabbed at the heap of bones and skin, no blood seeped from the wounds. Hyde smiled and laughed. Kwai
OOC: Finally. Bring it. Le'aoni stood at the middle of the park, the snow falling around her peacefully, calmly, mildly. She had sworn to tint the pure white snow with the crimson red of that foul bastard... and she will do it. The clock struck 10:00p.m. and Le'aoni growled with impatience. "Damn coward... did he decide to run?" she muttered. "Nay. As you have sworn you shall spill my blood upon the snow, I too said that I will spill your blood upon the snow." It was Warrington, his form vague and hazy in the darkness of the park. Le'aoni's face tightened into that of hate, and her fangs beared, she took a step at Warrington. "Draculina, Draculina. Do me a favor and walk away. I really don't feel I should be wasting my time with you when I could be out on the streets hunting one of the "anti-slayers". So go along, little girl. The streets are not for your kind." said Warrington with a snicker. Le'aoni was now in the height of her rage. All her logic and reason left her, and with incredible speed, struck Warrington full in the face, resulting in a sickening crack, and grasped his throat tightly. "Take that back, foul mortal..." hissed Le'aoni. Warrington's smile was frozen upon his face, sadistic, unnerving, and worst of all, calm. "Ah, ah... now girl... let me go now, and you'll be fine." said the figure. Le'aoni, in rage, threw Warrington's body against a tree. Warrington hit the tree, as another crack was heard, either from the tree or from Warrington. He fell dumbly, and the tree crashed on top of him. "Get up, mortal. I'm not done with you yet. Get up!" snarled Le'aoni. The tree shriveled up, and Warrington stood up from the decaying heap, his wounds regenerating, and smiled. "Hehe... foolish girl. You actually grasped me by the throat." chuckled Warrington in an amused fashion. Le'aoni licked her lips, ready to attack again. But a sudden pang of pain erupted through her entire body simultaneously, and she fell to the ground, gasping. "Yes... painful isn't it? As you probably would have... or should have guessed from the fate of this tree, my entire body is laced with poison... touching me is to touch death itself, foolish Draculina. Unfortunately, my venom won't go as far as to kill you but..." Warrington trailed off delicately, leaving the precise effect of the venom upon vampires unclear. "Suffer, Draculina. Suffer. I am under strict orders not to kill you from Sir Lowendove, but I shall take every second I can to watch you in bondage. Every second I see a vampire in pain, for every vampire slain, I am able to regain myself, to avenge the multitudes dead by the hands of your species, to avenge those who fell nobly in their line of duty for the Brotherhood!" laughed Warrington. Warrington leapt high into the air, and landed on a lamp post almost directly above the gasping Le'aoni. His coat unfurled, and a barrage of darts pinned Le'aoni to the ground. Impaled by the darts were Bible pages, effectively confining her to her current position. Warrington grinned sadistically, as the poison continued to torment Le'aoni, leaving her helpless, unable to move.
