Avalon
Le'aoni gritted her teeth in anger, closing her eyes. "You are the one who's the hypocrite, Brotherhood fiend." Warrington stared at her, "And how's this, little Draculina?" "You sit here and talk about how my kind has killed and maimed and tormented...what about your kind?" she spat, trying to move her arm a bit. "You do the same thing that we do...only to lower species. Animals, Plants...aren't they considered worth saving? No! You kill them to survive..just like we kill you. Have you ever thought about that, scum?" she yelled, her eyes glowing a deep gray. "What's this? It sounds your pleading for your life. I warned you and you didn't listened--" "I would never stoop low enough to beg for you humans. Never!" she screamed, her body slowly melting away, leaving her coat to remain where her body should have been. Warrington looked around, assuming that she was still there. "Ah, Draculina...you are beginning to try my patience--" "And you're getting on my nerves," she replied, "Brotherhood dog. " she spoke, walking slowly from the shadows. She held her hand, which was now gloved. "I promised my mother and my daughter that I wouldn't kill a mortal..unless they did something to me that I couldn't forgive." "Well, you're being the hypocrite again...you have killed countless innocents." Le'aoni smirked, "Is that right? Innocents, you say?" she asked, opening her umberella. "Rapists are innocents? Murderers are innocents? I don't think so. You don't know me, freak, so don't act like you do." she replied, throwing one of her fans, seeing him about to move, and grabbed him, falling on top of Warrington as they crashed onto the ground. Kwai
Warrington fell, and whispered intimately as if to depart a secret, to Le'aoni. "Let me be simple Draculina. I'll admit this. This has nothing to do with innocents. All this is that you attack humans in our jurisdiction. I police the freaks that attack the humans. You are one." They both hit the ground with a crash, but Le'aoni again melted away into the shadows. Le'aoni laughed, now feeling that she had the upper hand. "So now you admit slayer! You yourself are a hypocrite!" "Perhaps, perhaps not." replied Warrington. "But we, as humans, have every right to kill an animal or a plant, any being that possesses no logic or reason! That also goes for any non-human creature that justifies its existance by killing humans for any reason!" Warrington roared. Le'aoni was staggered by the conviction which filled his voice. She saw that it was no use arguing. This would have to be decided by a battle of fists. So after all, violence was the only way. Warrington's claws clicked into place like before, and his face had that manic smile, present on everyone possessed by the plague called insanity. Multiple flashes, and darts flew, laced both with poison and pages of the Holy Bible. Le'aoni snarled as her range of movements were slowly being restricted. A dart hit her in her left shoulder, and she brushed it off. But to her rage and irritation, she began seeing twos and threes of Warrington, wavering as if in a dream. Annie
Reaper jerked awake,"No! Hyde!!"She clutched her chest. "Oh, t'was just a dream." She yawned and stretched. She did a few kicks in the air and stood, looking around. She sighed and walked outside, it was dark. The snow drizzled onto her face. She breathed in the crisp air, unfortunately to smell blood. She shrugged it off, What else is new.. She started to walk along the street and sensed a presence behind her. No wait, there was more than one and they walked up behind her faster and faster. One of the men was to her left, the other to her right, one stayed behind her and the last ran up infront of her. They all smiled and chuckled, "Hey, what's a dame like you doin out on the street at this hour? And alone..How fortunate for us that you have no company." "You would be wise and walk away,"Reaper's voice smooth and calm. "Or what? You gonna fight us? Let's count, 1..2..3..4 of us and one of you. And besides, you're a girl!" the man to her right mocked. Reaper remained silent and kept her pace. The man to her left grabs her rear end. Reaper kept her pace. The man behind her grabbed her waist and tried to pull her in towards him, she grabbed his wrist and gave it a slight squeeze. Bones cracked and the man grimaced and screamed in pain. She turned to face him as he dropped to one knee, she kept her locked grip. The man that was on her right ran up and tried to put her in a strangle hold, she grabbed his elbow and snapped it, his arm dangled like a broken twig. The man on her left threw a punch and planted it in Reaper's cheek, she turns her head and glares at the man. Quickly the man infront of her tackled her. She jumped into the air adn floated above the group. "She's a vampire!! Run!!!" they all started to run. And something clicked in Reaper's head. A small shock of pain, her eyes widen and start to glow red. Reaper growled and flew down to the ground and with her imaculate speed and maneuvering she caught up to the four men. Gracefully, unsheathing her sword she maneuvers infront of the men, stopping them dead in their tracks. Fear struck their paling faces, and without blinking or thinking twice, Reaper flowed between them and mystically severed their bodies. She ended up behind the men whose diced bodies fell peacefully to the ground. Reaper licked her blade adn sheathed it back into it's holster. What did I just do?! Oh well, it felt kind of good...What am I saying!!!? But they tried to harm me, they deserved what they got! Reaper walked on and felt a chill run up her spine adn into her head, sending a flash of a young woman and a sadistic man in a cemetary. She was in pain and furious. The man laughed and swam in her misery....
Avalon
Le'aoni slumped to the ground, falling on her knees as she laughed. "Foolish man." she replied, pulling out a caplet from her bra. "Did you think that I would come here unprepared? If you did, you are sorely mistaken." She laughed, making her caplet fall out of her hand. Looking shockly, she tried to crawl over to were it laid...but was stopped by Warrington. "So, I guess this was to help you, eh Draculina?" he asked, crushing the caplet. "Ah, what a shame...look what I did." Le'aoni smiled instantly, seeing, in a blur, the blue liquid spreading over the snow. "Thank you poor mortal." she spoke, seeing the smoke that started to rise. It poured over Warrington, leaving him in a daze as well as her. "Yes, you created your own downfall." she replied, pulling out another caplet and broke it, drinking the contents inside. Her smile widened as she stood up for her spot on the ground, looking at the smoke that blanketed where Warrington stood. "See, you aren't the only one that knows a little something about chemicals, my dear." she spoke, walking over to the spot where he was, being careful to stay away from the smoke. "With your little gadgets...it's almost laughable." She pulled his collar, throwing him from the smoke. He hit the ground with a thud for the second time as she eyed him. "Yes...that's a little something that my father created. It paralyzes the nerves for atleast 5 minutes...but that's all I need to do my work." She smiled a bit, showing off her fangs. She sat on top of him, smirking happily. "Now don't worry, I won't bite you...that hard." she spoke, putting her face dangerously close to his. "You know, if you weren't dead set on killing us vamps, I wouldn't mind giving you the time of you life...oh well." she laughed, running a gloved finger down his face. Kwai
OOC: Um... Avalon. Remember my character's skill? Immunity? Oh well. Its still workable. Warrington's eyes were cold with fury, but not a trace of fear was reflected in his intense eyes. Nothing, absolutely nothing. A man convinced of his own immortality, of his own invincibility. A man totally convinced of his life, his goal, his mission. His eyes only said one thing to Le'aoni's threat. "Dare thee?" said the eye. "Yes I do." murmured Le'aoni. She bit him, her fangs piercing his neck. But wait. Something was not right. As she took the first gulp of his blood, she remembered. The blood tasted horrible. No. It wasn't even blood. She gasped, retching and coughing. The eyes smiled, and a faint trace of victory passed through his pupils. Le'aoni continued to retch, gasping for air. How could she forget? He even said that he had venom coursing through his body! Her consciousness began to fade, and she slowly slid down onto the ground, cursing in her mouth as she hit the ground. Moments later, Warrington stood up, smiling. "You astound me Draculina. You succeeded in actually going far enough to bite me. But to think you'd blatantly forget what I said... you're still an amateur." Warrington took out a small cellphone from his coat pocket, and started speaking. "Test completed. Somewhat capable, but still too naive. Surprising maneuvers, but ultimately vulnerable due to her naivete." said Warrington mechanically. He shut the cell phone, and strode out of the park, leaving Le'aoni on the ground.
Annie
OOC: Ooops on my last post, I you guys were in the park.. Reaper appeared in the park moments too late. She spotted an unconcious vampire and ran over to her. Her eyes were glazed over and dull, her skin was nearly translucent, her body was burning to the touch. This is bad. She's a vampire adn she is boiling. I must get her to her rightful place. Reaper looked through the vampira's coat and found a card Le'aoni...Guild of Vampire Alligance... she read on to find out the address to the headquarters. Tenderly, Reaper scooped up the limp vampire and started out from the park. She got maybe twenty paces outside of the gate when she sensed an unusual presence. It was not vampire nor was it entirely human. "Well, well, well. It must be my lucky day,"Warrington's voice remained collected,"Just the freak I was waiting for, a Hybrid. Finally, I can fight to evaluate your skills." He appeared from the shadow of the hedges. He looked in Reaper's arms to find Le'aoni. "What do you want? I have no time for the likes of you,"Reaper continued to walk. "Hmm, well I don't care how much time you have. Why are you saving her?" "That is none of your concern.." Warrington smiled at Reaper... Kwai
As Reaper attempted to walk away from Warrington, a sudden flash of the wind, and in front of her she found a Bible page fluttering in the winter wind. She brushed it aside, as if it was nothing, and continued along her way. Warrington smiled, as if he was expecting it. "Good. No more idiots who can be defeated with the Bible alone. Now forget about that pathetic burden and show me. Show me what the vampires have christiened the 'anti-slayers.' Show me what you are made of!" roared Warrington, sounding extremely pleased. Reaper sighed, and placing Le'aoni gently on the ground, unsheathed her blade. Warrington's smiles widened, as he too drew his claws. A tense moment it was, Warrington with his claws bearing, Reaper with her blades gleaming ominously. But before either side could move, a calm voice punctuated the silence. "Mr. Warrington? Pardon, sir, but Sir Lowendove requires your attendance immediately." said Brendan quietly. "I have just been fortunate enough to come across one of the anti-slayers. Tell him so." replied Warrington calmly. "He knows about that sir. But we have another problem which requires more urgent attention." said Brendan a bit forcefully. Warrington's piercing eyes glared at Brendan for a moment, then softened. His claws retracted back into his sleeves, and he turned around, leaving Reaper looking a bit foolish with her blades drawn. "You were saved this time wretch... but not next time." Warrington disappeared into the shadows, closely followed by Brendan, who gave Reaper a patronizing look before being sucked into the shadowy depths of the alley. Reaper sighed, somewhat relieved in avoiding conflict, and bent down to pick up Le'aoni.
silpheedpilot
Hyde stood in a tree above the park, he saw Reaper and another Vampire in Reapers arms. Hyde felt like it was his lucky day. He shrugged and leaped out of the tree landing in front of Reaper, he spun his spear around and put his spear tip in the ground, it made a loud metal upon metal screech as it entered the concrete of the walkway. Hyde leaned against the spear and looked at Reaper. "Still befreinding othjer Vampires...Hehehe.." Hyde said "Why cant you see the grand vision of it all? Hehe..Haha...Kill for the thrill! Kill everyone...We are taking over this wretched city...Wether it be me! or me AND my brethren! HeheheHAHAHA!" Reaper shook her head and slowly set the other Vampire down. She unsheathed her Blade and stood steadfast, ready for anything. Hyde smiled and let out a low laugh "I know you killed those men. You thought it felt rewarding...Of course they deserved it..Evereything deserves what they get!" Reaper smirked, and slashed at Hyde chest, opening it up, blood spilled onto the snow. Hyde shook his head and laughed. Reaper only cut at Hyde more, pushing him backwards as she cut at him, chunks of flesh flying about. "As do you, Hyde!" She roared "You killed too many innocents, YOU deserve to die!" She kept cutting at Hyde, mutilating his face and spilling his guts. Hyde, stood there, or rather...hanged there, his limbs swaying in the wind. A soft, dark aura covered Hyde as he began regaining his lost tissue, and re-forming bones. His face returning to normal. Reaper wasn't going to let him reform, she began cutting at Hyde again. Hyde smiled amongts the flurry of slashes, he let out a loud battlecry as he kicked Reaper in the stomach, sending her back to where the other vampire laid. Hyde kicked into action as he ran to Reaper. She had begun to get up, she was on her knees rubbing at her stomach, she looked up enough to see Hydes foot careening into her face, her jaw shattered and her eyes went blank. Hyde stood there laughing, lifting his spear from the ground. "This time I WILL kill you!" Hyde walked over to Reaper who was holding her face, trying to re-form her face. Hyde let out a long laugh as he brough the spear into Reapers chest, she let out a soft cry of pain and it entered her flesh. Hyde smiled and began spinning it slowly. He laughd as he always did, but was stopped short. He couldn't keep spinning it, something was stopping him...What? What?! Kill Her! Kill her! HehehHahaha! Hyde pulled the spear out and pulled out the chunks of flesh that hanged from his spear. he set it on his shoulder and turned away. He shook hi head then peered over his left shoulder down at Reaper. "You just remember Reaper...I'm going to kill you..." Hyde smiled, but not a maniac smile, more of a smypathy smile. Hyde grunted and leaped into the air, vaninshing into darkness of the shadows.
Avalon
Le'aoni groaned, trying to pull herself off the ground. She fell, reaching for the phone that laid in her pocket. Pressing a red button, she placed the phone to her ear. "Father, come and get me...I am unable to bring myself home." she spoke, knowing that he was on the other end. She hung up, slipping it back into the pocket as she laid on the ground. Looking to the side of her, she saw Reaper. "Thank you...whoever you are." Within 5 minutes, she could hear footsteps. Groaning, she was hoisted into someone's arms, her vision quite blurred. "Just get me home father...don't ask questions now." The fiqure nodded and walked away, not before looking at the person that had laid next to her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Well, Le'aoni...I must say, you look a dreadful mess." sitting up slowly, she focused her eyes on the voice. "Yes father...I know that. That thing of a man did this. Must you say things that are irrelavent?" "Well, I know something that isn't. You might want to sleep now to work the poison out of your system. Tomorrow, you have to meet up with that 'thing of a man' at the Isle Bistro around 10. You are to make some kind of peace with him...because both of our sides don't need you and him to be fighting and dueling every night when there are things to be done." She scoffed, pressing the button on the side, moving a bit as the bed went underground. I'll be peaceful...but if he thinks that I will be this defenseless little lamb, he has another thing coming... she thought, drifting off to sleep... Kwai
The corridors were dark, as ever, darker than in the past if that was possible. An urgent meeting had spawned, a torrent of information, ideas, counter-measures, so much that the circular chamber was a buzz of excitement when the dark door opened with a small click. Warrington entered, his coat fluttering, with Brendan entering close behind him. Warrington walked straight up to Sir Lowendove, and took his position to his right. Brendan likewise took the left. With the entrance of the two slayers, the room's buzz gradually lessened, eventually reverting to awkward silence. The council exchanged glances, and their eyes wandered over from Warrington, to Lowendove, to Brendan. Brendan squirmed a little, unaccustomed to such attention. Sir Lowendove folded his arms in front of him, and simply. "Agent Warrington, your report please." "Engaged in a battle with a Draculina of the GVA as of 11:00 p.m. in order to test her ability in battle. As expected, the vampires are still vulnerable to the scriptures of the Holy Bible, though my poison seems to be incapable of killing them. Their battle styles and effectiveness changes with their emotion, much like humans. Shortly after this battle, an anti-slayer was sighted, and was to be engaged in battle, but before the engagement an order was given to return, and here I am." said Warrington. "Was the anti-slayer a male or a female?" asked one of the elder councils. "A female." replied Warrington. A buzz again went around the room, the council members looking at each other gravely. "So we have three confirmed reports of anti-slayers thus far. One of our scouts were tracking a particularly vicious one armed with a spear but we lost contact a while ago... nonetheless, that is not our utmost concern." said Sir Lowendove. "We expected only to see a few of these anti-slayers, as the experiment quickly went to dust after the berserk rampage of the first few experiments. However, from connecting the bits and pieces of information we gathered, there seems to be a renewal at the attempt to reconstruct and perfect the anti-slayers." said Sir Lowendove. A hushed murmur was sent around the room, and the elder council's eyes suddenly gleamed. "By the GVA?" asked the female council member. "Nay. Our reports indicate no vampires in the scheme. It seems to be an attempt by humankind instead of vampires..." said Sir Lowendove with some spite. "And the precise base of operations?" asked another council member. "That, too, is unknown. We have strong evidence that someone, somewhere, is still attempting with the construction of anti-slayers." replied Sir Lowendove. The council members looked at each other with uneasy horror, and looked towards the two slayers. "Agent Warrington." said one council member. "Make haste, and secure peace with the GVA. We have no time to quarrel now. We not only have the anti-slayers out there to worry about, but those to be created if these reports be true." Warrington bowed, and left the room, shortly followed by Brendan.
Annie
"Damn you, Hyde! Why do you do this to me?!" Reaper stood up and screamed into the heavy snow. The wind whipped the snow in a frenzy, like a snow globe. She noticed that the lady vampire was no longer at her side. Oh well.. I do this because you are a traitor!! What in the hells were you doing with that retched vampire?! You should have killed her! Now what fun would it be to kill something without a fight, Hyde? You of all people should know that. It's not a challenge if it's too easy. Reaper played. Well yeah, I see your point. But still, I don't understand why you want to be the good guy. Heheheha..You really should kill more ya know. And why do you say this? Because..It's kind of..well, uh...How to say, it just makes you look better.. Better? How 'better'? I don't understand...And why didn't you kill me?! You hesitated. Not once, but twice it bit you. What is holding you back? And what was that smile? You know that is more frightening than your usual manical smile.. ....rrrrrrr... "Hmmph."Reaper crossed her arms across her chest, pouting. Then she thought about that man. She looked around and started to walk in undisturbed patches of snow. "That man was a slayer. Why would he just start something with me? Hmmmm.. It was kind of attractive, a human wanting to fight me. A human who has a definate chance. And Hyde...well....I'm going to kill you... And the way he smiled..It wasn't cynical..It was kind of friendly, but not really.." Reaper walked on through the park and onto the bridge to look out over the ice-patched river. She stopped and leaned on the railing underneath the single lit street light. The snow eased up and glistened in the light. By the way, Reaper. Nice job with those men..*grunt* Reaper smiles. Kwai
Warrington retired to his chamber, along with Brendan. Warrington was tired, but too excited to go to sleep. To pass the time, he sat down at his working desk, and a few minutes later, the clinking of test tubes and the faint wisps of noxious gas indicated his activity. Brendan sat down in front of the fire with his book, but noticing the vapors slowly drifting towards him, motioned lightly with his hands. His warp steel slid off towards the door, and clicked a small button next to the door. A slight whoosh was heard as the ventilator turned on, sucking out the noxious fumes. The Warp Steel returned to Brendan, curling around his feet like a cat. Warrington abruptly stood up, waking Brendan from his stupor. Apparently, the book Brendan was reading had bored him, as he again threw the book into the fireplace absent mindedly. Warrington walked towards the door. Brendan took a glance at the clock. It was 1:00 a.m. Warrington turned around, and called to Brendan. "Hey kid, want to go get dinner? Its late but I'm sure there's something left." Brendan stood up, all too glad. He strongly suspected that his rude awakening from the stupor was partly due to his hunger. Warrington led the way without doubt, and soon came upon the door leading to the cafeteria. Warrington opened the door with a crash, and strode in. Branden scurried in, cuddling his weapon affectionately. Sir Lowendove was not there, but another figure with a staff was eating a scanty meal of gruel and bread. The figure looked up, and continued his meal, unperturbed. Warrington sat down opposite of him, and eyed the multitude of food set on the table with hunger. Brendan also sat down, and his Warp Steel immediately picked up a plate, and began filling it with food that Brendan wanted. Warrington looked at his young comrade and smiled, then he too helped himself to the food before him. As the two sat gorging themselves, the figure opposite to them opened his mouth. "How goes Warrington? I heard that the anti-slayers are on a revival... this true?" said the figure in a foreign accent. "Yes. I don't mind, I suppose. More battles, more scums for me to kill. I don't mind at all. And how are you Father?" he replied The man pointed his staff at a nearby lamp which had gone out, and the lamp flickered, radiating brightly. This revealed the man's complexion, an affable face in the mid 40s, looking somewhat harrowed. "Not bad, I must say. Heathens are everywhere these days, and many of them have a nasty attitude. I find myself defending myself as often as I preach." said the figure. "Yes, well, I doubt that you really need to strain yourself in self-defense." said Warrington with a smile. "Yes. However, its annoying. I'm going to stay around Head Quarters for a while. Sir Lowendove wants me to stay here, most likely for the unlikely scenario of vampire break-ins. I won't complain though, I need some rest." His eyes strolled over to Brendan. "This is the young slayer I've been hearing about eh?" he said affably. "Brendan Setton I believe? Hello. My name is Father Renaldo Amiel. I'm a semi-slayer, semi-missionary. Nice to meet you comrade." said Father Renaldo, while stretching out his hands towards Brendan. Brendan tensed, but shook hands with the strange man, with some surprise in his eyes. Nudging Warrington, he whispered softly. "Who exactly is this Mr. Warrington?" he asked. "A slayer, like you, like me. He's very, very capable though, so you better show him respect." said Warrington indifferently. Father Amiel smiled at this comment, and chuckling heartily, left the room, leaning upon his staff as he went. Brendan continued to stare at the door from whence he departed, then shrugged and continued his meal.
silpheedpilot
Hyde let out a low sigh, a mean sigh...As he turned and walked away. Draka ran in front of Hyde and slightly pushed at him. "Whats wrong Hyde?" Draka asked as Hyde pushed her aside. "Nothing at all..Hehe...I just have business to take care of..He.." Hyde respoded walking past Draka. He turned around and gave her a smirk "And remember..I'm winning.." Hyde leaped into the air and vanished into the shadows. He darted amongts to shadows trying to find Reaper. He was going to do it this time, he had to..Or his failures would haunt him. Be ready Reaper..I'm coming to find you and I will kill you this time! HAHA! Hyde found Reaper leaning against a bridge, he leaped out from the shadows and landed next to Reaper. He smirked, and leaned against the railing, also He leaned his spear against the railing. He let out a low sigh and turned his head to look at Reaper. "You tell me Reaper..Why cant I kill you?..." Hyde let his smirk fade, as his crossed his arms. "Why?" Reaper looked out over the frozen water as the moonlight glistened to ice. She shrugged and continued looking onward. Hyde shook his head and turned around looking out over the ice. "What is this beauty you see?" Hyde asked, firmly "What is so grand about protecting people?" Reaper again, simply shrugged. Reaper turned to Hyde and smiled. "Why are you so nice all of a sudden?" Hyde shook his head and looked at Reaper like he had been hit by a train. He stepped back. "I-I am not not being 'nice'!" Hyde studdered "I'm simply striking up a conversation wity you!" Hyde grunted and leaned against the railing again. He smiled and propped his elbows up on the railing. "You never want to 'talk' with me...You just want to kill me" Reaper said, turning back to the railing. Hyde picked up his spear and rested it against his shoulder. "Maybe I'm not ready to kill you yet...But the time will come where I WILL kill you.." Hyde said cooly "Got it?" Hyde let out a long maniacal laugh as he leaped into the air and vanished into the shadows.
Kwai
The montonous Barney song of "I love you... you love me..." was suddenly interrupted by a sudden crash, shortly followed by a small explosion. The remains of the radio was smoking, and Brendan's Warp Steel slid back neatly on to Brendan's shoulder. It was morning, and the clock indicated 6:45 a.m. Brendan groaned as he stood up, cursing whoever decided to air that pathetic excuse of a song. Nearby, Warrington was already up, or perhaps had not slept at all. The fumes dancing around him were slowly changing color, from red to blue to green. Warrington looked back sharply at Brendan. "I think I asked you not to curse Agent?" said Warrington coldly. "Sorry sir... but I couldn't help it... they just had to air that so early in the morning..." muttered Brendan, though obviously annoyed at both the radio and Warrington. Warrington returned to his work, and a few moments later, held up a beaker full of red liquid. He wavered it in the light of his lamp, and dipped his fingers in it, and brought it to his lips. The solution seemed to have satisfied him, and he poured small amounts into a set of vials, and replenished his supply in his coat pocket. Having one left over, he threw it over to Brendan, who caught it with surprise. "Use it well, agent. That drug will boost your regenerative capabilities to that of mine for a short duration of time." said Warrington simply. He stood up, cleaned off his desk, and strode out of the chamber door. Brendan looked at the red liquid with curiosity, and then absentmindedly tossed it over to his Warp Steel, which caught it deftly, and curled it away into its innermost recess. Looking up at the watch, Brendan saw that it was not 7:00 a.m... 3 hours until the appointed time.
Annie
OOC: I don't know if it's the way you think my character is, but you can put words in her mouth. I am not going to get mad. Why do you keep doing that?! Do you wish to confuse me to death? Is that how you plan to kill me? No answer. Reaper pushes herself away from the railing and jumps ontop of the bridge. She does not struggle to keep her balance. Gracefully, she looks down at the ice patches and let's gravity pull her down, plummiting towards the water. Just as she was about six feet above the water she aerobatically performs an combination of a back side flip. Landing delicately on an ice burg. Suddenly she hears a noise from her left. She unsheathed her sword and looks around. Nothing... Hmm..I need something to eat. "What to eat is the question,"Reaper lept into the frozen air and sprinted through a few ally ways and bounced off of buildings. "Hmm, something smells good,"she sniffed the air. The scent of a bloody steak surrounded her. "Of course, the butcher shop is right here." Reaper walked into the store and the bells above the door jingled together furiously. The pudgy butler looked up at her. His face drained of color, his lips trembled, and his voice was running away from him,"C-an I he-lp you?"he stutters. Reaper looked at him curiously as he reached under the counter. "S-s-stay back! I-I warn you now *****!!!"the butcher pulled out a double barrell and readies it to shoot Reaper. "Now why did you go and do a thing like that? All I want is a T-bone..."Reaper rolled her eyes, her voice disgusted. The butcher held fast. "Get outta her, witch!!" Reaper walked towards the counter, presses her exposed cleavage(not the whole breast :p) against the glass and she spotted the meat she wanted. Pointing"I want that one.." The butcher pressed the double barrell against her neck. "I warned you, witch.."Reaper looked out of the corner of her eye at the trembling butcher. She grabbed the barrell and jerked it downward so hard that the butcher's arm snapped in half. "Aahhh!" He fell to his knees. "I am not a 'witch'. I am your worst nightmare,"she takes her stance with the shotgun pressed against her shoulder. Her eyes glew red and her enraged blood coursed through her body.Hyde, if you can hear me, I want you to see this one. I think you and Draka will be pleased with what I am about to do... Reaper let out a sinister chuckle and pulled the trigger. Blood and brain matter rained all over the store and Reaper. With an evil smile she licked the blood off her hand. She picked up the decapitated butcher and took him into the corner where the bodies of cow, pig, and sheep hung on hooks. She set the body down, removed a carcass, and hung the remains of the man on the hook. Here you go Hyde and Draka..What do you think? Reaper fluidly strolled over to the counter, shattered the glass with her fist, and grabs the T-bone. She walks out of the store, she fell to her knees and clutched her head with one hand."Wh-what just happened? I-I--uuh,"she faints.
silpheedpilot
Hyde sat in a tree, knees bent, arms resting on them. He heard what Reaper said and went to check it out, when he arrived at the butcher store, he saw Reaper laying on the ground in front of the store. Hyde shook his head and leaped over to her, he hoisted her up on his shoulder and leaped into the air, darting int he shadows to Reapers apartment. He entered the tattered building and walked up the creaking steel spiral stairs. He walke dup to Reapers room and pushed the door open with his left foot. He peered around and walked over to Reaper matress, he set her down and walked out of her room. Hyde exited the apartment and looked into the cloudy sky...Though it was dark, the clouds were still visible. He walked down the street, whistling a little tune as he looked down alley-ways and behind him for something to kill...Just for the hell of it. Hyde spotted a female sitting in her sedan outside an apartment building not too far from Reapers. He got a smirk as he walked up to the car, he walked to the dirvers side and knocked on the window. The female curled her lips in disgust and turned the key, trying to start the car. Hyde tilted is head and made a puppy dog face before letting out a maniacal laugh. He punched through the dirvers side window, hearing the females screams as he yanked her out of her car. He lifted her up by her hair and looked at her pitifully. Hyde threw her over his shoulder, hearing her screams cease as she smashed into the wall behind him. Hyde smiled and dropped the piece of hair that had been pulled out. He turned and walked down the street once more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I didn't know I was making your character look weak. Sorry if I was, I thought I was putting the correct words in her mouth. I apologize.
Annie
An hour went by and Reaper woke. "Huh? How-how did I get back here? Could it have been..No, he wouldn't be as so kind. He would jump at the opportunity to kill me then and there...Would he? Would you Hyde? She sighed and walked out of her hide away. The snow had stopped falling, and there was only the whistle of the wind. Her head swirled with utter confusion. What am I going to do? Who am I? Where do I belong?!!! Someone please help me... Reaper fell to her knees in the middle of the street adn started to sob. BEEEEPP!!!! She looked up to see a pair of headlights charging towards her. silpheedpilot
Hyde leaped from on top of Reapers apartment and grabbed her before the car would have slammed into her. After he reappeared on top of her apartment building once more, he set her down. Hyde leaped off of the building and vanished into the shadows once more. Why would you break down and cry in the middle of a street?! Hyde leapt out of the shadows and landed by a steet light, he leaned against the pole and tared into the dark sky. Why did I help her?! Hyde...You're straying away from your own ideals... Hyde statred walking down the street, he saw people walking towards him. He passed by them without a single word. Hyde sat down on the curb. Why am I feeling so emotional?! HYDE! Why do I care so much about wether Reaper dies or not?!....rrrr....Hm...Forget it...Its too much hassle to think about. Hyde stood up and began walking down the street again. Hyde stopped and tunred into an alleyway. He sat down at the end of the alleyway, and propped his arms up on his bent knees. He sighed and then laughed his usualy maniac laugh. WHY?!
Annie
OOC: You did not make her look weak. I was just saying that she does talk, hehehe. You don't have to keep her silent, she's actually quite talkitive. When you get to know her, lol.. ----------------------------------- Hyde had fled before Reaper could say anything to him. I was crying because..Well, because..Grr, what do you care anyhow? Right? She jumps off of the behind the building and starts to run down a small street, towards the AVD Headquarters. "I have to do something. I fear that I will drive myself into sanity if I continue to question what Hyde has in his mind. I want to keep myself preoccupied. Maybe I should seek out this man who tried to fight me in the park... I am sorry Hyde...I don't know what to do anymore...I cannot and will not ask for your forgiveness, because I know you will not forgive me...
Kwai
The clock's pendulum swung forwards and backwards, forwards and backwards. The long-hand struck 10, and the clock sent a booming ring across the abandoned house, located in Isle Bistro. Four figures were present in the room. One was referred to as "thing of a man", another was a small boy, yet another was a man leaning upon his staff, and finally a draculina, still young and beautiful. "So it is the appointed time. Now we may begin." wheezed Father Amiel. Le'aoni looked distrustingly at the three figures, and muttered. "And why exactly are there three of you and one of me?" she asked tensely. "Don't be confused draculina." replied Father Renaldo calmly. "We are not here to hunt or kill you. Young Brendan here - " he gestured towards the boy, "and I are simply here to keep you two from breaking into a fight again." Warrington grunted, a bit annoyed with the situation. A vampire in front of him and he was forbidden to kill it. Damn it all. What was the world coming to? He took a deep breath, and started to talk, though his disgust and contempt was rather obvious. "So... we of the Lowendove Brotherhood will agree to your... GVA's terms of peace for the time being. We agree not to attack nor harm your agents, provided that you show the same courtesy for ours... we shall not, however, disclose any information we deem not necessary, nor do we intend to give you a nice little tour of our stronghold so don't think you'll gain any advantage over us wretch... also keep in mind we will show no qualms of killing any of you should you scums show signs of hostility..." concluded Warrington with disgust. "Are we agreed then?" said Father Amiel quietly. Le'aoni's eyes wandered about as she drunk in the words, then suddenly finding herself addressed, looked at Warrington sharply. "And why is it, human, that you suddenly decide to form a pact with us when you just a few days ago attempted to kill me?" Warrington burst into laughter, followed with a small suppressed chuckle from both Father Renaldo and Brendan. "Dear girl, dear girl." began Father Renaldo. "From what I hear, you would have been dead if Warrington really did have it in his mind to kill you." said he with a laugh. Le'aoni's face flushed, but as she was outnumbered, held her tongue. "WHY is it that you are suddenly willing to ally with us?" she pressed. Warrington's smiles widened. Brendan took up the answer with a light sing-song voice. "Because, of course, its convenient for us." he said simply. Le'aoni glared at him, but found his stare unwavering, and looked back at Warrington. "Are we agreed then?" asked Warrington. "Very well human. We are agreed." Warrington took out a parchment from his coat pocket, and slid it across the table. "Prick your thumb, and seal it with your blood." he said. Le'aoni noticed next to it another print, and a signature signed by Sir Lowendove under it. She glanced at Warrington suspiciously, but Warrington seemed to have read her mind, and laughed. "It's not laced with poison so rest assured." he said. Le'aoni had no sooner signed the paper and imprinted it with her thumb when Brendan's Warp Steel slithered up and swallowed it greedily. Father Amiel smiled, and stood up. "It is done."
Avalon
Le'aoni sighed, "Fine then...well, there's no reason for us sitting around here, is it?" she looked at them, picking up a small black bag. "'No time like the present', my mother always said." She threw the bag over her shoulder, "So, here's the plan." "Tis a plan now? Ah, Draculina, you are forgetting your place..." "...and you have yet to learn yours. Nonetheless, the plan is simple...even a simpleton like you should understand it." she replied, smirking evilly. "I will post myself up on some dark corner, pretending to be a local prostitute...which would be easy considering that I'm a temptress at heart..." "Ah," Warrington started, looking shockingly. "You have a heart?" Le'aoni waved him off, continuing, "If he's our man, he will try to attack me. I'll defend myself and you gentlemen will join the fight. Got it? Good. We shall leave as soon as I finish. I wouldn't dare ruin another dress like last night." she replied, not really giving anyone any time to say anything. She walked off, going into a small area so that she could dress. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "All done!" she spoke, tying up her black combat boots that she wore. She took one good look at herself, looking down at the boots and the black stocking that she wore...to the garder belt that held them into place and finally, the red halter dress, with a slit on each side, her cleavage showing nicely. She applied little makeup, staring at the white piece of paper in her hand. Walking out, she saw the gentlemen waiting by the doorway. She stopped at Warrington, unfolding the slip and sticking it directly in his face. "What's this, little Draculina?" She growled, "Don't call me that...my name is Le'aoni. And this, my wretched dear, is my drycleaning receipt. See that it be taken care of...since you ruined a perfectly good dress yesterday." she replied, walking out of the building... silpheedpilot
Hyde stepped out from the from the alleyway and walked down the street, his urges to kill finally came back to him as he broke out in laughter. He walked down the street and spotted a few teenagers fighting amongts themselves. Hyde walked up to them and watched them. He shook her head and thrusted his spear through the two teens who were trying to pull eachother to the ground. Thier fighting stopped as the other teen began punching and kicking Hyde. Hyde laughed as he lifted a teenager off of his back and threw him to the ground, stepping on his skull. He turned to his left and twisted the neck of another teen, it snapped like a dry twig. He lifted his spear into the air and brought the back down on the back of a teen who was trying to tackle him, breaking his back. The other teen fled in terror, but was stopped short by Hydes spear. Hyde smiled at his handywork. He turned and walked down the street oncemore, wondering why humans even fight back. He shrugged and continued walking. Humans...What vile creatures...Come to think it, Vampires are low...also...Hehehe... Hyde set his spear over his shoulder and turned the corner at the inter section ahead, he saw something...A...Vampire! Just waiting to die!
Kwai
OOC: finally.... Warrington was 3 blocks away upon a rooftop, listening in intently to he situation. His claws were restless, going in and out, each time with a hasty click. Father Amiel stood beside him, looking up at the sky, raising his staff high above his head. Yellow particles danced about the magnificent topaz within his staff, forming a weak electric current alternating with a sudden burst of strong currents. Brendan also sat, his legs dangling from the edge of the roof, his Warp Steel slithering around restlessly. *scene change to Le'aoni and Hyde* "Heh... hehehehehe... how fortunate! Another vampire for me to kill!" laughed Hyde, walking to Le'aoni. Le'aoni's body tensed a bit, realizing that this was the right one. Hyde grasped his spear, and held it up to Le'aoni's throat. Hyde smiled maniacally and sadistically, but Le'aoni returned the smile with that of scorn and pleasure. In a flash, she leapt aside the precise moment Hyde thrust his spear, his spear grinding into the wall behind, getting stuck. Le'aoni missed no chance, and immediately struck with her elongated claws. Hyde received a brutal slash above his eyes, and the blood oozed down obscuring his vision. Maddened with rage and embarassment inflicted upon him by a mere vampire, he began to swing around wildly. His wounds began to heal, and when he finally regained his vision, he noticed that there were three additional figures, all clad in black, one an elderly man, another a child, and another a young man in his early 20s. The child smiled, the elderlyman's eyes gleamed, and the man laughed sadistically and maniacally, reminding Hyde all to well of his own laugh. "So we finally, finally, FINALLY meet..." said the man. Annie
Reaper froze, stunned at the vision passing through her head. Huh..Hyde! Who..A vampire! And three of the Lowendove Brotherhood...He is the man that tried to fight me yesterday!...What should I do? She leapt off the bench she stood on and ran into the direction that reaked with Hydes blood. She stopped short and quickly hid behind a dumpster, peering around to see the backs of the vampire and the three agents. Hyde's face was purple with furry. The female vampire turned around and looked straight in Reaper's direction. Reaper gasped and turned around. "S~~t.."she whispered. The female vampire appeared in front of her,"Ah, hidding are we? Hey! We have another Hybrid!!" The three agents were shocked,"Brendan stay with me. Warrington, help Le'aoni."Father Amiel calmly stated. Rrrr..Reaper, why are you here? Damnit Reaper..I don't want them to catch you..Not you, you have to survive this... "Get up anti-slayer!"Le'aoni grabbed Reaper's trench coat and roughly pulled her away from the dumpster. Warrington casually waltzed over and walked around Reaper, looking her up and down. Reaper remained calm but was flush from Warrington's attention. "So, two in one day..This is most unexpected and surprising. You were the one I persued the other night, shall we continue our engagement?"Warrington's voice slithered. "You know this scum?"Le'aoni spat. "Not personally, I did not get your name,"Warrington offered a sleezy smile. Reaper looked over at Hyde who was furious with her. "My name is Reaper, Hybrid Genome Production #7. I do not wish to kill anyone here, except for him,"she pointed over at Hyde who now had a confused expression. "Ha! Don't make me laugh, wench! You would kill your brethren? Who released you from torture? You anti-slayers are insane!"Warrington laughed sinisterly. "Yes, I would. All he has done is try to kill me, so why not?"Reaper quirked,"Ask him yourself, he does not lie." "Why would you only want to kill him? Do you not hate us humans and vampires?"Warrington questioned. "Humans and vampires are irrelevant to me. I only want him. He murdered my family. Yes, I was human along time ago. I visited them after I had been released. They, of course, did not know I was there. I watched my little sister run up and down the fields we onced played in, had picnics. She was so innocent, so pure. Then heshowed up. He slaughtered my parents and my angel of a sister, laughing the whole time. He laughed at my angel as she pleaded for her precious life..."Reaper grew silent, never taking her eyes off of Hyde,"She died in my arms..He has been the only being that I have ever wanted to kill. I know I have killed, those were beyond my sanity. I can't remember what happened. The only thing that drives me to kill is him. Once I defeat him, I will no longer kill. I swear on my life, and the life of my family." Reaper looked down at the ground, silent tears flowed down her cheeks. Hyde, please do not get angry. I need you..I-Imean, I need you to remain calm.... Warrington's was surprisingly stunned, as was Hyde. A black SUV pulled up on the other side of the ally way, and everyone looked. The door opened and a man in a crisp black suit stepped out of the driver's seat. A cigerette in his smile, his sunglasses slid down the bridge of his nose to gaze around at the five figures. Reaper spotted him and smiled. "Well, well, if it isn't Leon. How the hell are you,"Warrington spat sarcastically. "Hello Agent Warrington. Long time no see, Le'aoni,"he nodded suavely at her adn giggled at her expression.
