Xellos
It's one of my favorites. The artwork is nice, the music is nice, and it's just an all around good show. Though I have to agree with Artemis about Parns voice being annoying (though I wouldn't put it in quite the same words) It's one of the few good anime's you can get where I live. Panache
This is one of my most favorite animes of all time. I love the story, the animation kinda has an olde school feel to it but its still fresh and good, the music is awesome ,and the characters are really cool. The only problem I have is with the music in one part. In the beggining of the series where that guys family member gets slaughtered and he gets really mad thay should have played "Am I Evil" from Metallica. That would've been friggin awsome. So what do you guys think?
Kizna Towryk
I've been a ROLW fan ever since seventh grade, and I'm a senior now.... ^_^;;;;; Deed has to be my fav. character 'cause I love elves in the first place, and she is a great character. DEED AND PARN FOREVER!!!!!
Panache
My favorite character was orson when he was berserk he reminded me of gutsu from berserk. Then it would be the dark knight beacause he was badass.
Dagger
I started watching the OVA recently, and although I didn't really enjoy the first two episodes very much, I was able to get more involved in the story from that point onward. But the way the story is structured and paced remains my main complaint--I really did not like the in medias res beginning. I'm also skeptical about whether they can flesh out the world satisfactorily in the remaining six episodes. Even so, it's a very beautiful and well-animated piece of work. I had no idea that Yutaka Izubuchi did the character designs until I saw his name in the credits--and it really surprised me, because I'm mostly familiar with him through his mecha and costume designs. I think it's a shame that he hasn't done any character designs for other anime, since the art style of Lodoss is amazingly lovely. ~Dagger~
