My grandpa owns a car lot and has local commercials, so everyone knows him (and lots know me b/c he's made me be in the commercials :roll eyes:)
Um...let's see...my aunt by marriage touched Elvis' hair!
I suppose I should look into that some more. I'd certainly like to know. Oh yeah, my great-grandmother was Cinderella. (Ask me sometime, she really had a true life Cinderella story!)

You live in Virginia? Cause if you do.. you are SOMEHOW related to Lee, it just takes a bit of a search.. but it's there.

I found out I may be related to Adam and Eve. On my dad's side, my grandpa's side to be more specific is related to the Archduke Ferdinand... the inadvertent instigator of WW1...

My mother's side is heavily Corsican, and apparently I'm somehow related to Napoleon Boneparte.... *shudders*.. too cool to be true, I bet. My mom's dad's side is an almost direct descendant to Besckhy Smydra.. apparently a King of Poland, I'll look up more later. (He was a really drall king, if I recall correctly.. he didn't do really ANYTHING... at all...)

Considering the fact, most of you here are thick, short-sighted Americans (:p) You won't know what I am, but clever, far sighted Australians, my great great grand uncle is Sir John Forrest, fist premier of Western Australia, and some other stuff. My dads mothers mum was some mega-rich jew, but my dads mum and her mom didn't get on, so they split communicaions :( I could be rich otherwise...

Yeah it does suck because he's so good. So now he is a manager of a piant store. A popular one. SO lots of money for him. And he is teaching younger Kids or coaching my Freshmen team. Our team is going to be great if he keeps it up. Also does anyone know where we can find out who we are related to? I want to know so bad.

I'm related to Robert E. Lee on my mom's side. My great grandmuma tracked him down and I'm like directly related to him. My whole family's middle name is Lee because of him. Curse the name Lee! I hat my middle name. No offense to anyone out there with the mid name Lee and like's it. But I don't! :flaming:

Wow, you guys are lucky. Specially you, Avalon. I'm not related to any famous people, but my grandparents own a large hotel in Rethmemno Crete in Greece and my uncle owns "Pizza Time" in Bennetsville, South Carolina. It emblem is a pizza with clock hands. I'm sure none of you have heard of it, so well....crap... My family line is Greek, so they probably gp back to Greek warriors. I think my grandpa showed me a family tree of some sort and it showed a Greek Warrior in the old days, so, hey, Heroics!
*Gasp* You mean middle of no where Bennetsville, South Carolina? My Aunt and Uncle own a bed and breakfast there. No one ever seems to know where it is...

And Vash's girl, my middle name is Lee as well, though not because of my connection with Robert E. Lee. It's from some friend of the family I never met before she died.

I wish that my dad's mother's mom was a mega rich jew...unfortunatly I'm protestant...

I guess that the most famous person that I know was my grandfather. He was the director of Saftey for Maryland Public Schools for twenty years and appeared in several reel to reel saftey videos that were viewed nation wide in schools. He was a really cool guy...everyone in Maryland seemed to be his friend...

Apparently I am a direct descendent of Robert Burns, the famous Scottish poet. This information came about because my aunt on my dad's side actually went to Britain to "study the family tree". So I don't know what the story is there...but I do know that my aunt on my mother's side has one of Robert Burns' original books. It's very old...as in, well over 100 years old.

Other than that, I know that a woman on my mother's side was a famous nurse in the battlefield during World War I. I think she had a hyphenated last name...but I don't remember it, unfortunately; though I have seen pictures of her.

I can't think of anyone else that I'd consider "famous" though. My family heritage is very broken up, anyway. I have grandparents from Wales, a great aunt from Germany and a great aunt from Japan. In any case, it's interesting to think about your family history. I discovered a lot of interesting things from my aunt, which I never knew.

I still don't see how that beats being married to Mandy Moore?
