Art Aventures with PSP7

Here's something I made with PSP7, I love this program, but I really don't like the text, would anyone know where I could get some better fonts?

I don't think there is anything wrong with the type face, as much as there is a problem with what you did with it. It's incredibly blurry and the colors make it impossible to read. It almost looks like you cut it out of another, far smaller image.

I can make out a basic word shape, but that's about it. I'd play with that... It also seems like you used some sort of layer style (perhaps outer glow), but I cannot tell.

I like the sketch of that one character, but the background clashes with her. She's oddly cropped and is just rather fuzzy compared to the crispness of the blue stuff behind her.

I think using her and that text, you could do something decent... A sketchy looking banner. As of right now, it is not bad, but it needs some work. I'm assuming you're relatively new to the program, based on your comments... so just keep it up.

I don't do number ratings, lol.

As for fonts... I go through here: [url]http://cgm.cs.mcgill.ca/~luc/fonts.html[/url] It has an insane amount of links to some really great freeware font sites. Many of which I never see mentioned elsewhere. Don't bother with that 1001freefonts.com BS.

I blurred the face a little because it was too sharp, too many pixels.

And yes I am relatively new to PSP7 but not with corell photoshop wich I think I'll use to fix some of the smaller problems that seem to show up.

The text is alo hard to read because I tried to put my user handle onto a confined space.

I cant read it lol. maby if you put the text on the bottom insted of the side it might look better. I can remember when I first got PSP7 and it was a real pain trying to get it to work. but after a while of messing around with it you learn how to use it pretty easy.[/color]
