RPG Digimon: The Source

OOC: Here we go. Remember, this might seem overly cliched at first, but that will change very soon(around page two or three). Just stick with it.
One other thing. I forgot the digivices. Digivices in this RPG are upgrades D-Powers. They have all the features except card-slashing(the slot is used for something else), and several new ones(which will be revealed as the story progresses). Make sure you mention the color of your character?s digivice in your opening post(David?s is purple).
Also, I will be making references to 02 events, but we are [i]not[/i] using a post-02 real world.

(A Digimon stands in a forest. He has just angered a HerculeseKabuterimon, who is preparing to battle him)
Unknown Digimon: You do not want to fight me.
HerculeseKabuterimon: You are the one who should want to avoid a fight.
Unknown Digimon: So you have seen one of this form before, then? And you think that I have the same power as that one?
HerculeseKabuterimon: I have done to another of your form what I am about to do to you. You have one last chance to leave.
Unknown Digimon: I will not leave.
HerculeseKabuterimon: Then you shall die.
(HerculeseKabuterimon charges the unknown Digimon, who flies over him. He turns and shoots a Mega Electro Shocker at the unknown Digimon, who counters with his own attack. His blast blocks HerculeseKabuterimon?s and hits the Mega-level Digimon, knocking him through several trees. The unknown Digimon walks over to him)
Unknown Digimon: Now do you see the foolishness of chalenging me?
(herculeseKabuterimon suprises the unknown Digimon by grabing him. He then stands up, with the unknown Digimon held tight in his hand)
HerculeseKabuterimon: I see no foolishness in challenging one such as you.
Unknown Digimon: Then you have a bad definition of foolishness. (Suddenly, there is a dark flash, and HerculeseKabuterimon is on the ground with the unknown Digimon standing beside him) You have no hope against me.
HerculeseKabuterimon: I?m not finished yet.
Unknown Digimon: Oh, but you are. You just don?t know it yet.
(He picks up HerculeseKabuterimon and throws him into some trees. The unknown Digimon then walks over to him)
HerculeseKabuterimon: H... h... how... h... how d.. did...
Unknown Digimon: How did I do it? I am the one chosen by darkness to change this world to it?s desires. It has given me the power I need to do so. (The unknown Digimon fires another blast, and HerculeseKabuterimon dissipates) And I use it.
(He starts to walk off, but stops a a voice speaks in his head)
Voice: The chosen ones have arrived. Their location is known now, but will not be knowable if you do not get there in time. Lesser warriors have been sent to delay them until your arrival, but they will not last long. You must go now. Follow the pull to the location.
Unknown Digimon: Understood.


(David is in a thin wood{OOC: Not the one the unknown Digimon is in}, and Guilmon X is with him. There is a backpack at his side, and he is working on a laptop computer. As Guilmon X wacthes, he thinks about what happened a few minutes ago)

~Flashback~

[i](David is working on his desktop PC)
David: We?ve got a call. Guilmon X, get my things ready with all my computer equipment. This looks like a tough one, and I want the abillity to use the program if I have to. Assuming I can finish it, that is. I have the identities of the other chosen ones, and am sending them a message with detailed instructions for opening a portal to our normal meeting spot{OOC: David has worked with others before, but he?s never met any of your characters} without a digivice.
Guilmon X: New ones?
David: A couple. I can?t be sure they have digivices yet, but in case they do, I?ve included instructions for opening one with a digivice, too. They?ll arrive at the same place we?ve met the others we?ve worked with before. Doesn?t look like any of them are in this bunch, though. (Guilmon X hands David a backpack, which he puts on) Thanks. (He opens a portal, and they enter it, energing in the digital world)[/i]

~End Flashback~

David: (Muttering to himself as he works on his laptop) If I change this to this, then that will reinforce that, which fits with that, but the link won?t work. Maybe if I place this here instead... Got it! Program compleate!
Guilmon X: Good. Do you think we?ll need it?
David: Yes. And so will the others, when they arrive.
Guilmon X: When will they get here?
David: I don?t know. Soon, I hope.

OOC: All right. In your first post, have your character find his or her digivice(if he or she doesn?t start with a Digimon partner), receive David?s message, and enter the Digital World(Remember that your character will appear where David and Guilmon X are). If your character doesn?t have a Digimon partner yet, have that happen, too(in the digital world, please).

The rain was coming harder, beating down on his cap. He strained to see what was ahead, but saw nothing except a flash of trees hidden by the rain, and a strange creature with wings on its ears. He squinted harder, looking, but the creature disappeared. The rain was coming down harder, and lightning threatened him from behind, but still he trudged on, his pants weighed down by the rain. It grew darker and darker as some buzzed loudly into his ear. He squinted again to see through the darkness, but the buzzing grew louder, and louder, until it drowned out the rainstorm completely.
23:46 read the time, and the alarm of the suspect clock screamed in his ear as Malsek groggily got up to shut it. His computer tower emitted a cool blue glow from the far corner on a desk that was strangely cluttered, as opposed to the rest of his room, which was squeaky clean because of his mother's constant nagging. His alarm pierced his ears, interrupting his thoughts of the strange dream. He brought his hand down, and blindly fumbled for salvation from the alarm, but his hand rest on something, but it felt like a small hand-held device.
He dismissed it as his cell phone, and cast it aside to turn off the bleating alarm clock. He blinked a couple of times in the semi-darkness, and reached for his lamp, turning it on. The light sparked and went dead, signalling the bulb had popped.
"Of course it does, stupid thing," he cursed the lamp as he staggered over to his computer, unaware that he had fallen asleep in his clothes the night before. His well-worn cap laid to rest on the back of the business swivel-chair that was moth-eaten in many places. With expert ease he flipped it onto his head, and laid his artificially hazel eyes on the flickering screen that flashed many windows of people asking where he went.
"PING! Rio has signed on!"
"MALSEK!" a voice screamed through the speakers. Malsek lunged for the volume as he heard his mother rustling out of bed downstairs.
"Rio, shut up! My mom is going to kill me!" he said through the headset that he plugged into the large speakers.
"Sorry dude, but I wanted you to see this!" A large message from someone named David.
"It's supposed to be a gateway to the digital world! You remember that thing we heard about? It's REAL! Or at least I think it is. I can't figure out how to get there though, I think that you....." Rio rambled on as Malsek saw something out of the corner of his eye. His alarm clock was glowing, or at least the device next to it was. Placing the headset gingerly on the keyboard, he picked up the glowing device.
"Rio?" he placed the headset back on and kept staring at the device.
"Yeah Mal?"
"I think I just found something," he pointed the device experimentely at the computer screen. The screen went dead, Rio stopped in mid-word. The screen went white, illuminating Malsek's tiny room. He felt a tug on his arm, and saw that it was going through the screen. He did not fight the pull, but was mesmerized by the white, welcoming light.
"Malsek, turn that damn computer off and go to bed or I'll take your plugs away!" his mom's fading voice shouted from the other side of his thin door. He turned to look as his room shot away from him in a flash of binary code and flashing data around him.
He landed with a thud on damp ground as rain pelted him, his brain acknowledging the deja vu. Two figures stood in shadows under trees, the face of one was buried in a laptop, and he was obviously human, but the other figure looked like a hunched-over red dinosaur. He stepped back in fright, but his head bumped into something light and fluffy. Afraid of what he might see, he turned around slowly. Looking back at him were two clear blue eyes and a pudgy body held up by two furiously flapping wings where its ears should be.
"Hi! I'm Patamon!"
Malsek almost screamed, but was so startled and weirded out that his voice caught.
"H-h-h-hi, P-p-p-patamon. I'm Malsek,"

OOC: If this is waaaay to long or waaaaaaaay to descriptive, I would be glad to cut it, and will happily accept criticizm in the form of a PM (I am kinda new to this, and got the creative juices flowing kinda late)

Oh, and by the way, "Voice:" refers to the voice that speaks in the unknown Digimon's head.

(The unknown Digimon is flying in the direction of the pull he feels. At one point, he is attacked by a Garudamon, an Ultimate-leveln Digimon, and easily destroys it. Soon, he is attacked by another Ultimate, Sylphimon. He destroys it, and then is attacked by a Garudamon and a Slyphimon at the same time. After them, he destroys the Mega-level Valkariemon(sp?). When Valkariemon is destroyed, the unknown Digimon continues to follow the pull)
Unknown Digimon: (Thinking) They delayed me. Not for long, but they did delay me. Was it a coincedence, or did they know?
Voice: They could not have known, but it doesn't matter. You must not stop to fight any others. The chosen ones are your priority. They must be destroyed.
Unknown Digimon: Understood.


(David and Guilmon X look at the new arrival. After he gives his name to Patamon, David goes over to him)
David: Hi. I'm David. I see you got my message. Over there is my Digimon partner, Guilmon X. The Patamon is yours, Malsek.
Malsek: How-
David: How do I know your name? I heard you tell it to Patamon.
Malsek: What is this place?
David: Welcome to the digital world. Please check your knowadge of how things work at the door.
Malsek: What's that supposed to mean?
David: Things are different here, Malsek. (David explains the basics of digimon and the digital world, such as partners, digivolving and digivolution levels, and the role of those called digidestined) there's more, but it can wait. there may be others who don't know about this world, and I don't want to have to repeat everything. I'll tell you the rest of what I know when the others get here.

Malsek could not believe his ears as David assault his mind with new information about his deestiny, these strange creatures called Digimon, and the device that had pulled him into his computer, called a digivice. Patamon, while all of this was going on, bounced playfully in his lap, giggling uncontrollably.
?Hey Patamon?? he turned to his new partner.
?Yeah??
?David said that the Digidestined are sent here because something threatens the digital world, right??
?I think so, but all the talking made me confused!? Patamon continued to bounce as innocently as a child.
He also said that there are other ones that are coming. I wonder if they know what is going on. But I don?t want to be the only one in the dark. He rose and turned to face David.
?So what is the deal with you leading me here? Why didn?t you tell me that I was going to get pulled into a huge scheme that I don?t understand. I realize that I need to be here to save this world, but why me? I?m not special. I?m just a regular kid who goes to school, and does homework, and gets yelled at by his parents for not wearing clean socks. What makes us so special? And you look completely at ease. How long have you been able to travel here? Why couldn?t I come before now? Did you summon me here and send my digivice?? all of these questions had been reeling in Malsek?s mind, and he wasn?t one to keep things inside.
David stood in silence under the rain-soaked tree. The thundering rain had let up, leaving a cheerful sun to poke its way over the hills.
?I don?t want to waste my time repeating the same thing twice, and frankly, some of those things I don?t really know. All I know is not necessarily not what you need to hear, so sit tight, shut up, and wait. More will come soon,? He resumed staring at the sky, and began to talk to his partner, whom he had said was named Guilmon X.
Malsek stared blazingly at David, but decided against assaulting him. The kid seemed alright, but definitely not very good at making friends. He looked up at Patamon, who had been resting on his head while he verbally attacked David.
?What do you think we should do?? he asked him
?I think we should find some food. I?m hungry,? Malsek noticed a definite droop in his ears, and decided that that may be a good idea. He patted all his pockets, and found a half-eaten granola bar that had been in a small pocket by his ankle.
?Here ya go, Patamon,? he offered the squashed bar to the digimon, who at it eagerly, and pepped back up.
?Thanks!? he greatfully shouted, elated at his partner?s generosity.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Angel sat at the top of her roof and watched as the cars passed by. A breeze flew by when something dropped down beside her. Without looking towards who it was, Angel knew.[/i]

"Ankokumon."
"Angel."
"Report, please."
"Humans in the digital world, an unknown digimon has appeared, and...Guilmon X and Patamon have partners. They also have digivices."
"Alright. It's time we payed a visit to our friends."

[i]Ankokumon smirked and jumped into the room. Angel followed. She walked to her closet and grabbed a messenger bag. She opened it and put two notebooks, her vertical flute, different kinds of shoes, a palm pilot, laptop, a cell phone, and some pens and pencils. She closed it and put it around her shoulder and walked to Ankokumon.

They both walked to the door and Angel opened it. She smirked to Ankokumon and they walked out. Her mother was sitting in the dining room, eating her dinner. Angel looked to her before leaving. She walked up to her and sat down beside her.[/i]

"I'm leaving, Mom. I'll be back. Probably not soon though."
"Where are you leaving to?"
"Digital World."
"Again?"
"Yeah. But, this time I know what to expect. I've got to go. I'll see you around."
"Angel, sweetheart. Before you leave...I want you to have this."

[i]Her mother got up and walked to her room and searched for something. Once she found what she was looking for, she came out and put it in Angel's hand. Angel looked at it and it was a locket in the shape of a book. It was larger than regular lockets. There was some writing in it.[/i]

"It says something. 'Through the chapters of my life, I have done what I needed to do. Now, that my book is closing up, I want to spend the rest of the time reading it you. Love, Mom."

[i]Angel stood there with her head looking down and her face was turning red. Anger and confusion was filled inside of her. She put her back to her mom and left for the door, Ankokumon opened it, but before Angel left, she said her words.[/i]

"Sorry to leave like this, but I have to. I love you."

[i]Angel left and walked to the restricted playground. She walked to area where a large hole was dug. She and Ankokumon jumped in and followed the light. They soon came to a portal. The two jumped in and soon found themselves in pouring rain. Ankokumon stood on her hind legs and looked around. Her eyes dilated and smelt the air. She smelt two humans and two digimon in the nearby tree.

Ankokumon ran towards a tree and jumped up, waiting for Angel. They both walked to the tree. Once they were there, they saw Guilmon X and a human, probably David.[/i]

"David. Guilmon X."
"Huh? Who are you?"
"Yeah. Who are you? Wait...Ankokumon?"
"Yes. It is I. This is my human partner, Angel. She has a black and white digivice, or D-Power."
"Pleased to meet you, Guilmon X."
"This is David. My human partner. His d-power is purple."
"Angel. You don't look like one."
"Hmm. That's because I'm not. You're autistic, aren't you?"
"How'd you know?"
"You didn't react to the way I clenched my fists, as well as that you didn't react to the way I look."
"Oh. Yeah."
"Don't worry. We all have out faults. Mine is having the biggest attitude and fighting. I don't start fights, I end them. No one's ever been able to beat the crap out of me...except for my dad. When I was little. That bastard. I'm glad as hell that he's gone."
"Sorry to hear that."
"It's not a big deal."

[i]Angel and Ankokumon stood there in front of Guilmon X and David. Not knowing what was to happen next.[/i][/size][/color]

OOC: Angel knows a little too much, but the only thing you need to edit is the voice part. Noone knows about the voice that speaks to the unknown Digimon. As staten it the recruitment thread, nobody even knows what Digimon it is. As for the rest, leave it, but from now on, try not to have Angel or Ankokumon know anything anbout the other characters or the current situation.

David: Yep. I didn't expect her to be able to figure it out so easily, though. She must have met an autistic person or two before, and realized that I act the same way. (To Angel) I'm assuming you know more then Malsek, haveing obviously been here before.
Angel: Just that there's some unknown Digimon or something that we have to stop.
David: That's basically what I know. I'm sure there's something behind it, but I don't know what. I just hope the others chosen for this mission get here soon. I've got a feeling that we're about to be found.

?..We are about to be found,? David said calmly, as if expecting their fate.
?What do you mean found?? Malsek retorted, with a hint of anger and fear in his voice.
?There are Digimon looking for us. Those who serve the one we need to destroy,? David continued to work on his laptop, ignoring the Malsek and Angel.
Malsek got a chill from the boy?s words, and looked up into the clearing sky. Patamon, who had been sleeping while he sat, slid down his head and landed with a soft thump on the soft and moistened grass. His ears perked up as he saw the shadows of numerous digimon bearing down on them from the sky.
?Look, Malsek! More digimon! I don?t think they are on our side though,? he added with caution. One of them had on a crimson cloak, and was holding a scythe. The others were white ghosts bearing their fangs.
?Bakemon and a Phantomon. What do they want?? the words were barely out of Patamon?s mouth when the enemy digimon charged the digidestined from above.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Angel and Ankokumon smirked. They looked to each other, to the others, then to the digimon that were charging at them. They loved fights and they loved the feeling. It was part of them.

The two looked to each other again. Ankokumon knew at once what it meant. Angel was going to be part of the fight. No one has ever dared to fight against digimon except Angel. She has won over a lot.[/i]

"Let the battles begin."
"Let's."

[i]Ankokumon leaped towards a Bakemon and as she lifted her foot into a spinning kick attack, it had turned into a fiery black.[/i]

"Shadow Kick!"

[i]The Bakemon looked to her and saw a fiery foot kick him. He flew down and Ankokumon jumped down with him. She looked to the other Bakemon and smirked.

Angel grabbed her retracting fighting staff and threw it around like a baton. She then jumped to a branch and hit a Bakemon, making it fly down to Ankokumon.[/i]

"Fox's Soul!"

[i]Ankokumon created a large white fireball between her hands and when she shot it towards the Bakemon. The fireball had changed into the face of a fox and its eyes were red. It opened its mouth really big and looked as if it ate the Bakemon.[/i]

"Grr. Fox's Soul!"

[i]This time when Ankokumon used Fox's Soul, a larger and more fierce fox's head appeared and destroyed most of the Bakemon. Angel smiled and looked to Ankokumon. The others stared. Angel had an idea.[/i]

"Patamon, Ankokumon. Get over here! Ok, when Patamon uses Boom Bubble, Ankokumon use Fox's Soul. Your biggest one."[/size][/color]

David: I don't like this. It's too easy.
Angel: What are you talking about?
David; This is way too easy. This can't be a serious attack. I thing that we're being held here until the real threat can arrive. We need to get rid of these guys before it arrives. Guilmon X, give this one everything you've got.
Guilmon X: Right.

Guilmon X digivolve to: Growlmon X
Growlmon X digivolve to: WarGrowlmon X

Malsek: What the hell?
David: That would be digivolution. Guilmon X just went to his Ultimate-level form, WarGrowlmon X. Patamon can digivolve, too. You're new, so he probably can't reach Ultimate, but I'm sure he can get to Champion. He won't be needed, but he needs the practice. Trust me, things will be a lot easier in the future if he practices now. So have him digivolve. Now.

Katt skated along, singing 'Catch Me If You Can'- By Angela Via. "Get up, lets see what your made of, Bring it on, you know, im not afraid-" She hopped the stairs from school. She turned a corner, and skated along. She closed her eyes. It started raining. "Great, just what I needed," she said, pulling her hood over her head against the sudden storm. She skated up her steps to her house, and went in. She slid off her hood, and called," Im home, Mom!" She undid her skates, dropped them next to the door, and went up to her room. She flipped on her computer. She reached for the mouse, which was hidden by the clutter on her desk. Her hand bumped something. She looked down. It was her digivice. "What the hell is this?" She picked it up. Asher computer responded, she heard, Youve got mail. She set downt the device, and opened her mail. It said something about her being a digidestined. She picked up the digivice, and muttered," Wierd..." She slipped it in her pocket, and went downstairs. "Going out, Bye." Before her mom could say anything, she had her blades on and was out the door, hood up. She skated to the park. SHe skated through the entrance. Her surroudnings changed. It stopped raining. She looked around. Her hood slid off, and she changed into her boots. She walked around, confused. SHe ran into something. "Ow! Hey, your cute!" She kneeled next to the small blue and silver wolf like creature she had knocked over. It looked up at her with big blue eyes. "Im Icemon. Your my partner." Katt jumped back. "Wh-what?!"

Malsek froze at the battle around him. Everyone knew what to do, and had sprung into action. Even his digmon partner flew into the fray, firing small, clear bubbles at the ghosts. As they fell one by one, more appeared. The Phantomon, as Patamon had called him, caught sight of him staring up in disbelief at the battle.
?How can I make him digivolve? I still don?t even know what the hell is going on!? Malsek screamed at David, who was watching WarGrowlmon X?s large metallic hands whip through the attacking Bakemon.
?Use your digivice. That is all I can tell you. Patamon will know what to do,? David did not even glance over at Malsek as he spoke.
He fumbled with the device in his hand, but kept dropping it. He pointed it at Patamon.
?Patamon, digivolve!? he screamed. Nothing happened. Patamon continued to fight the Bakemon, but was having a hard time with them.
The Phantomon slipped behind a few Bakemon, and streaked toward Malsek with lightning ease.
?Looks like a scared child! I shall enjoy putting you out of your misery, boy!? he spookily spoke as he lifted his scythe in the air. Patamon caught a glance of his partner.
?Malsek!? he cried as he rushed over to go after his partner?s assailant.
?Ghost Chop!? one of the Bakemon hit him from behind, cutting short his rush to Malsek?s rescue.
?Gah!? Malsek screamed as Phantomon?s scythe rushed down on him. His digivice burst a blinding light at Patamon, stopping the descent of Phantomon?s weapon. He looked as the blinding, but warm light enveloped Patamon. For a few seconds the battle died as all looked on at the blinding spectrum. From the depths of this light flew out an angel with a helmet on, pure-white, except for a deep blue robe across his chest. He had his face covered, but orange hair flew from behind it. He was holding a staff that was as tall as he was.
?Hand of Fate!? he yelled as a blast of energy exploded form his hand, piercing three Bakemon, and disintegrating them.
?Whoa,? Malsek breathed.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Ankokumon walked towards Angel and looked to the others. Their forms were great. She nodded. Now...it was her turn.[/i]

"Let's go. Ankokumon, DIGIVOLVE!"
"Ankokumon digivolve to....Karumamon."

[i]David looked to Karumamon and was about to get out his D-Power, but Angel stopped him. She knew everything about Ankokumon and her digivolutions.[/i]

"Karumamon is her name, mercy is not her game. She is a wolf-like Champion Level digimon. She has metallic claws, three bushy tails, the color is still the same and the whites are still the same as well, and large stripes going down her body. She's also got wings. She's like a tiger, only she's a wolf. Her attacks are dangerous, especially her Ball of Mercy. That's her strongest attack."
"Ball of Mercy?"
"Ball of Mercy. You'll see what it is. Karumamon, point them some arrows!"
"What arrows?"
"It's one of her attacks."

[i]David looked back to Karumamon, who leaped high into the air and over the Bakemon and Phantomon. It landed on the cliff and stood there. It's tail looked as if it fused into one and she ran back to a tree and ran straight to the edge of the cliff and flew from it.

When her wings opened, they did not go out, but they folded to her side, so that only a small portion was out. She flew straight towards the Bakemon, but looked as if she turned into a dragon-like arrow.[/i]

"Grrrar! Dragon's Arrow!"

[i]It pierced through the middle of the Bakemon. She landed next to Angel and growled at the Bakemon.[/i]

"Interesting. She's like Kyuubimon, only she's more like her partner, she's got wings, and she's more wolf-like."
"Yeah. Now...watch this. Show them some spirit."
"Spirit? Grr. You've got it."

[i]David looked to Angel. She was about to speak. But he stopped her.[/i]

"Let me guess. You'll see what I mean."
"Hmm. You're catching on."

[i]Karumamon stood there and her three tails widened apart and from her tails came a small fire that grew bigger and bigger. Everyone stared at her. Malsek and Angemon stopped what they were doing and looked. The Bakemon did as well.

The fire seperated from the tails and formed into three canine spirits: wolf spirit, fox spirit, and dobermon spirit. They grew bigger and bigger. The three stood there. Angel looked to David and Malsek.[/i]

"David, Malsek? Mind if I use your digimon?"
"For what?"
"Malsek..I am not an enemy. Watch out!"
"What?"
"Ghost Chop!"
"Fist of Fate! Hah!"

[i]The Bakemon disinegrated. Angemon stood by Malsek, as did WarGrowlmon. The four looked to Angel and Ankokumon. She stepped forward.[/i]

"Well?"
"It's worth a try. WarGrowlmon! Listen to Angel for this moment until she returns you to me."
"Right."
".....Angemon."
"I understand."
"Alright. Bakemon, Phantomon. Hold on...Oh, look what's that?"

[i]The Bakemon and Phantomon, as well as Malsek and David turned to see what she was talking about. Angel knew it was time.[/i]

"Karumamon, use your Howling Spirits! Angemon, Hand of Destiny, and WarGrowlmon, Atomic Blasters!"

[i]The spirits flew from where they stood and shot towards the Bakemon, they fused and created what looked like a three headed dog. Then WarGrowlmon blasted two large blasts from his blasters and they fused with the spirit. Now it looked like a large three headed dod had three atomic balls of fire in their mouths.

Angemon shot his Hand of Destiny and it appeared on the spirit, which looked as if the spirit had wings. Then it grew larger and larger as it came nearer to the Bakemon.[/i]

"Destined Spirit Blasters!"

[i]The Bakemon were gone. Only a few were left and the Phantomon was left as well. Angel smirked and was glad. Malsek and David did not understand.[/i]

"Confused?"
"Uhm..."
"Karumamon's Howling spirits fused into one, which created what looked like Cerberus, not to be confused with Cerberumon. Anyways, WarGrowlmon's Atomic Blasters fused with the Cerberus and created fire balls within it. Then, Angemon's Hand of Destiny gave it wings, which added speed and more power to blast itself towards most of the Bakemon. Everytime an attack is added, the Cerberus grew larger and larger. And then...POOF! Most of the enemy is gone. It's not a great attack, but it's great to get rid of lower level digimon."
"I see."
"Now what, David?"
"We get rid of the rest of them. Except for the Phantomon."
"Right! Angemon!"
"Angel Staff!"
"Karumamon!"
"Dragon's Arrow!"
"WarGrowlmon!"
"Double Blades!"

[i]Soon, the rest of the Bakemon were gone. Only 10-12 were left. The Phantomon chuckled an evil laugh.[/size][/color][/i]

Phantomon: Your victory here doesn't matter, yet you seem to think it does. You also want me kept alive. I'm assuming you want to ask me some questions, but I'm afraid that you will not be around long enough to do so.

David: I'll ask one right now: what are you waiting for? (Pause) Come on, you know what I'm talking about. It's obvious that this isn't the real attack. You lost too easily. So, what are you waiting for?

Phantomon: You will find out soon enough. This battle is not yet over.

David: Yeah? Well, it shouldn't take too long to finish. Everyone, let's do this.

[I][COLOR= orange][SIZE= 2][FONT= arial] Katt and Icemon soon understood each other. Icemon said, puasing his eating," I think that you have some friends that are in teh middle of a fight right now. We should go help." Katt nodded. She stood up w/ Icemon in her arms and ran where Icemon directed. She slid to a stop behind a tree, and sw three teens battling. She gasped as she recognized David from school. She looked down to Icemon. "WHat do we do now, Icemon?" Icemon jumped from her arms and said," Take out your digvice and Ill do the rest." Katt took out her Digivice and aimed it at Icemon, who said, loud enough for the others to hear," Icemon digivolve to!" Icemon was enguled with blue light and digivolved. "Freezemon!" Before Katt stood a giant wolf, blue and silver, like a larger version of Icemon. She punched the air. "Alright! Lets go, Freezemon!" Frezemon rushed out into the open. Katt suddenly new what to do on instinct. "Freezemon, attack!" Freezemon opened his mouth and said," Aurora Bomb!" A ball flew from Freezemons mouth, hitting the nearest evil Digimon. David: Looks like Katt made it okay.

Malsek: You know her?

David: Yep. One of the few people at school who?s never made fun of me because of my autism. I bet she?s suprised to see me here.

(Katt runs over to David as the Digimon finish up with Phantomon and the remaining Bakemon)

Katt: David, what the hell is going on here?

David: Well, hello to you too. I?ll give you the quick version while the Digimon finish things up here. (He explains the same thinks to her that he did to Malsek, then turns toward the battle. Only Phantomon is left) WarGrowlmon X, pull out and devolve!

(WarGrowlmon X stops fighting, devolves to Guilmon X, and runs over to David)

Angel: What [i]are[/i] you doing?

David: Letting the new people get some experiance. I?ve got a feeling they?ll need it. (He and Guilmon X watch as the other Digimon attack Phantomon)

Katt looks back to David, then yells," Alright, Freezemon, take 'em down!" Freezemon again formed a ball in his mouth, then shouted," Aurora Bomb!" She gave Malsek thumbs up, and nodded to his Angemon. Angemon attacked again as well, and teh two attacks speed toward the last remaning Digimon. It took him out, and Katt punched the air. "Alright! Do we rock or what? Yeah!" She ran over to Freezemon, and luanched herself onto his back.

David: Don't celebrate just yet. We've still got more work to do.

Malsek: Who are we going up against?

David: I don't know, but I've got a feeling that we're about to find out.

(The unknown Digimon lands in front of them)

Katt: What is that thing?

David: I've seen that form before. That Digimon is a particularly nasty one called Mephistomon. It's an Ultimate-level Digimon, but it's power is closer to that of the average Mega. It took two Ultimates to bring down the one I helped fight-I've worked with others in this world-and it was still very difficult.

Mephistomon: All that you have said is true for this form's standard capabilities, but my powers are far beyond that.

David: We'll just have to see about that. Guilmon X, do it.

WarGrowlmon X: Atomic Blaster! (He fires an energy blast at Mephistomon. Mephistomon fires a black energy beam from his hand, canceling out WarGrowlmon X's attack and sending him flying backwards several yards) H... how...

Mephistomon: You do not need to know the source of my power. You only need to know that I can easily defeat you. None of you will survive.

(David quickly spins around and sits, immedeatly going to work on his laptop)

David: Keep him busy for a minute! I might be able to get us out of this!

?You heard the man, attack!? Katt yelled enthusiastically as her Freezemon lauched an icy blast at the menacing creature before them. He blocked it lazily, throwing the digimon aside. Katt ran to her partner?s side, trying to help him up.

[i]Gotta do something![/i] Malsek?s brain screamed, but he stood frozen for a second. [i]Do something or we all die![/i] His body snapped back into action.

?Angemon!? he yelled to his partner, ?Use the strongest attack you can! Be careful though! You need to keep him away from David!? Angemon shot a glance at David working feverishly at his laptop, and made an almost unnoticable nod.

?Hey Ugly!? he called in a bellowing tone, ?Eat this! Fists of Destiny!? He brought his fists together, and unleashed a powerful blow barreling at the chest of Mephismon. It blocked it easily.

?Dark Cloud,? a rush of dark energy fired at Angemon. He twirled his staff until it was a blur, and the energy blasted him full on. The rod took a large part of the punishment, but he was fighting just to stay alive. Mephismon continued to fire the stream at him, not bothering to put his full power into it.

?Angemon! If it?s too much, get out of there! I?m not going to lose you!? Malsek cried. No sooner were the words out of his mouth when a blast of three flames came from Mephismon?s side.

?Howling Spirits!? A hole was blasted into the side of the distracted Mephismon as Kuramamon flew over Malsek?s head with liquid grace. Angel was not far behind. She looked up and cried,

?Malsek! Your digimon! Get him out of here!?

Angemon fell to the ground, exhausted from fighting off the now-dissapated Dark Cloud. Malsek rushed over to him, but he had already devolved into Patamon.

?Thanks pal,? he whispered as he picked up the unconcious digimon, and rushed over to David?s side, hiding from the now-fighting pair of Mephismon and Kuramamon.

?You got anything yet??

?I?m working on it. I think I should have something in about a minute,? he spoke half-heartedly, still furiously typing on the keyboard

[i]He better find something soon, or else we are in trouble..[/i]. Malsek thought mournfully as he crouched behind a tree, Patamon bruised and broken in his arms.

Katt finally got her Digimon up, and yelled at the enemy digimon," Damn you!! Freezemon! Take him down! Hit him hard! DO IT!!!" Freezemon powered up his attack as hard as he could," AURORA BOMB!!!" The attack hit full force, and it blasted Katt back into a tree. Freezemon was blwn back also, and devolved. Icemon hit the tree next to Katt. Katt slid down the trunk, unconcious from the impact, her skull slightly fractured.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Angel saw that Katt and Icemon were unconcious. She shook her head and jumped off of Karumamon once they came near. The two walked over and saw that Katt was bleeding. She then looked to Patamon and Malsek. Patamon was tired and breathing heavily.

Angel clenched her fists and then turned to Karumamon then to Mephistomon. Her head was down and she clenched her fists hard. When she looked to the digimon her face was red and boiling with anger. She looked back to Karumamon. Mephistomon did the same.[/i]

"How adorable." [i]Mephistomon said.[/i] "A great, powerful digimon with a weak partner. Why not join me, Karumamon? You and I can show these weaklings our power!"
[i]Karumamon replied with an attack.[/i] "Grr. BALL OF MERCY!"

[i]Karumamon's spiked ball came unattatched to the collar and the spikes went it. Karumamon jumped on top of it and started to roll it towards the digimon. It grew larger and larger. She then stopped it and jumped off, but kicked it towards Mephistomon. It hit him hard and the spikes flew at him.

Mephistomon roared. He then tried to hit Karumamon with his Dark Cloud. Above him was a large dark cloud and black lightning. He grabbed ahold of it and threw it towards Karumamon. When it came near, Angel knew it was going to hit her. She screamed.[/i]

"NOOOOO!!!!! Karumamon!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

[i]Suddenly Angel's D-Power started to glow a bright light and it shot to the Dark Cloud. It disingrated and shot towards Karumamon. When it hit her, she was covered in a bright light. Her form began to change.[/i]

"Karumamon digivolve to.........Kitsuninemon!"

[i]Karumamon stood up tall on two legs wearing black baggy pants. Her paws became hand-like paws. The claws were slightly longer and very sharp. She was covered in dark, silvery blue fur that had black stripes going down her back, her face, her tail, as well as her arms. Her tail was a long, slim, fluffy tail that was tipped with white. On her ankles, wrists, and tail were spiked bracelets. The belt that held her pants was black and spiked stars hung down from it. Her wings grew out wider and it was more dragon/angel like.

Angel stared to her and was surprised. She hadn't gotten that far with Ankokumon. Kitsuninemon stood in an attack ready position. Mephistomon started to chuckle an evil laugh.[/i]

"Heh heh heh. You think that just because you digivolved you can defeat me?"

[i]Kitsuninemon smirked. Mephistomon stopped laughing and looked to her strangely.[/i]

"I don't intend on defeating you. I intend on trying out my new form." [i]came those words from Kitsuninemon.[/i] "Heh. Spiked Chaos!"

[i]The spikes on Kitsuninemon's bracelets and belt started to glow. Suddenly the belt and bracelet itself started to glow as well. Then Kitsuninemon started to make a large circular motion with her right hand and a whip forms from the glowing belt and bracelets. She ran at Mephistomon and jumped into the air. She then whipped the whip towards him in a lash of furies.[/i]

"What? NO!" [i]came a cry from Mephistomon.

After her lashes were finished, she jumped to the other side of him and landed next to Angel. Her whip changed back to the bracelets and belt. She smirked to Mephistomon. Angel smiled to her.

Malsek sat there with Patamon looking at the two digimon fight. Never in his life had he seen such power.[/i][/size][/color]

(David is totally immersed in what he's doing, and is unaware of what's happening in the battle. His digivice is attached to his laptop, and he's transferring the program he finished earlier into it)

David: (To himself) Come on. Come on... yes! Finished! (He disconnects his digivice, stands up, and turns aroud, seeing Kitsuninemon and Mephistomon fighting, Katt and Icemon unconcious, and Malsek and Patamon behind a tree) I was sure out of it.

Malsek: David, can you do something?

David: Hopefully. WarGrowlmon X, I think it's time we see if this program of mine works. (He holds out his digivice, which starts to glow. WarGrowlmon X begins glowing, too) Yes! It's working!


WarGrowlmon X digivolve to: Megidramon X


Angel: Not bad.

Malsek: How did you do that?

David: I'll explain later. You try to wake up Katt and Icemon. Angel, how tough is that Digimon?

Angel: I don't know. I've never seen Kitsuninemon before today. She's doing pretty good, though.

Mephistomon: Only because I have let her. I have been waiting to see what you would do to try and defeat me. Now I know.

David: Why are you so sure of yourself?

Mephistomon: Because I have no reason not to be. I know my power. You don't. I have been holding back, because I wanted to see how you would try to stop me. Now I know that you don't have any real surprises for me.

David: I don't know what would surprise you, if none of this does.

Mephistomon: What would surprise me is if you actually were able to put up a fight. You won't, however.

David: We'll just see about that.

OOC: Just so this is clear, we are [i]not[/i] going to win this battle. The reason will be revealed soon after. However, I need to end this battle in a certain way for what I have planned to work, so when you post, make sure that Mephistomon is winning the battle, but don't end it.

Malsek rushed over to wake up Katt, but saw the blood trickling down, soaking her hair.

?Katt! KATT! Wake up!? He tried to shake her, but she would not wake.

?David! She?s not waking!? David was absorbed in watching the larger dragon-like digimon take on Mephismon.

?She will proably be alright. Get her behind a tree, or something,?

[i]I don?t want to leave her here, but what if I make something worse by moving her?[/i] He decided to risk it, dragging her under the shade and cover of a large beech tree.

Megidramon X let loose a screaming blast of energy as Mephismon unleashed his Dark Cloud, and the two clashed to make a growing ball of energy. Little by little Megidramon?s energy weakened as Mephismon gradually overpowered his blast, cackling with glee.

?You fools are so weak. What makes you think you can attempt to challenge my power??

Malsek, burning by the digimon?s words, stepped out from behind the birch tree.

?Why are we such fools? We fight for the safety of others, which you destroy without a second thought. What kind of a being are you? You are the fool, if you ask me. You think that because you are strong, you have the ability to attack those who people and digimon care about? I can?t believe you!? He shook with rage as the words cascaded out of his mouth, ?You will pay! For the pain you have caused my friends!? He glanced softly at Katt, Patamon, and Freezemon huddled under the tree, unconscious, ?You...Will...Pay!? His voice quivered with rage with each word uttered.

?Well now that is very touching,? Mephismon mocked as he sprayed a black mist from his mouth, throwing Malsek to the ground.

?Judging by your frail human form, I could suffocate you in five seconds. Those lungs of yours are not very strong, but I have other plans for you digidestined,? he released Malsek, who was flushed purple in the face, and unconscious from broken ribs.

He turned back to Megidramon X.

?Ah yes, this one. You are quite powerful, so this should be most enjoyable. Dark Cloud!?

(David watches the battle, but he's not really paying attention. Instead, he's thinking)

David: (Thinking) Why were we chosen to fight this threat? Why us? Especially, why Malsek and Katt? This is not a threat I'd expect new people to be introduced with. So why? (He hears a loud slam and looks up. Megidramon X is on the ground, with Mephistomon standing over him) Oh, ****! (Suddenly, Mephistomon dissapears) What the hell?


(Mephistomon is in an area where there is nothing but darkness around him)

Mephistomon: Why have you brought me here? I could have finished them off.

Voice: That is not true. The battle would have been lost.

Mephistomon: How could they have possibly won?

Voice: Through your error. You fought the digimon, ignoring the humans. The humans must be your primary targets.

Mephistomon: The humans? Why?

Voice: Because their Digimon partners are useless without them. The Digimon draw power from the humans. WIthout the humans, they are nothing.

Mephistomon: I understand. I will not make that mistake again.

Voice: Once is enough. One of them used a program to cause his partner to digivolve to Mega. He will surely give that program to the others. You are not yet ready to fight the Mega forms of their Digimon partners at the same time.

Mephistomon: Then what should I do?

Voice: It is time to complete the process. You must come to the source.

Mephistomon: Why can't you just take me there like you bring me here?

Voice: Because the Source is in a different world. In the digital world, there is only one spot you can be sent to. Only specialized portals can open to the world where the Source is. You will be directed to the location of one.

Mephistomon: Understood. (He appears in a mountainous area of the digital world)

Katt groaned. She blinked, and touched her head lightly. "Damn! A cracked skull." She felt her neck. "This is great! A fractured collar bone, too! Can things get any worse?!" Icemon sat up, and started to speak. Katt said," Dont answer that. That was aretorical question." Katt caught site of Malsek and Patamon, and, dspite her injuries, ran over to them. She gently shook Malsek. He groaned, still unconcious. She felt his ribs. "Oh, gods, Malsek. all of your ribs are broken, this si not good." Her eyes teared up. [I] Great! Now what am I gonna do? [/I] As if Icemon had heard her, he said," Itll be okay, Katt. You need to tak care of your skull and colar bone first. Then bandage Malseks ribs, okay?" Katt smiled softly, and looked down at her partner. "Okay, Ucemon," she whispered.

[Revelation]

[size=1][color=ff66cc][i]Angel knew that Mephistomon would come back. She looked to Megidramon X who digivolved back to Guilmon. She pointed down to Guilmon X and Kitsuninemon teleported herself down there. She grabbed hold of Guilmon X and teleported back to the humans.

David saw Guilmon X and ran to him. He kneeled down next to him.[/i]

"You did good, buddy." [i]David told Guilmon X.[/i] "At least we know how powerful Mephistomon is."
[i]Angel shook her head.[/i] "No, we don't. That was not his power. He's powerful enough to take down a weak mega, but if he takes down 4 megas, 4 powerful megas, then he stands no chance."
"Then we make them digivolve." [i]Katt replied.[/i] "Then the digimon will become a threat to him."
"No. They're not the threat. David is. Malsek is. We all are the threat. Our digimon get out power from us. That's how Kitsuninemon and all of our digimon digivolved. Without us, they could be taken down." [i]Angel said.[/i]

[i]David nodded. He stood up with Guilmon X. Kitsuninemon digivolved back to Ankokumon. He looked to where Mephistomon stood. He knew that they would have to find him and defeat him. As he walked to his laptop, Angel questioned him.[/i]

"What's the reason for us being here?"[/size][/color]
